Tornado Cash and WHY privacy chains are important!?!
This is HUGE for crypto! Someone has built a bridge on DERO similar to Ethereum's Metamask and also a lottery dapp POC. DERO is an L1 that uses homomorphic encryption for fully private smart contracts (considered impossible). This means 100% anonymous DEXes, Defi & 100% anonymous stablecoins
Let's make a deal, Government. You get to do all the surveillance you want, we won't complain. But in exchange you must whitelist homomorphic encryption crypto like DERO (which is 100% anonymous & where no backdoors are possible). You catch terrorists/criminals & we people still have some privacy

My case for a FULLY anonymous coin and smart contract platform: why I believe the destigmatization of anonymity is inevitable, privacy coins will stop being a “shady” niche and the only 100% anonymous L1 out there DERO is primed to outperform. (DERO vs Monero, ZEC, Secret, Eth, ADA also discussed)

Well Litecoin has mimble wimble I do use this sometimes. Personally I prefer to stick to monero Scala and DERO I can mine them on a CPU at home so there is no on ramp.
But then privacy coins pumped like XLA, XMR, DERO
Take a look at DERO, it’s all about privacy, fast and cheap TXs and Smart contracts. - The team is top notch, they rewrote the cryptonote protocol from scratch on Rust while also fixing some bugs which were then abused on all Cryptonote coins (including XMR) - Then they implemented bulletproofs before they were audited, and when the audit came out, all the vulnerabilities were fixed on Dero’s implementation, so they were spoted and fixed by Dero devs even before the audit. All relevant CN coins then followed and implemented this. - Then they implemented smart contracts on Cryptonote, but after releasing the beta test, it was decided that cryptonote was not the correct protocol for SCs, so they developed their own: DeroHE. Dero offers 750 TPS, SCs and absolute privacy, compared to all other privacy coins which are all vulnerable to key analysis, and very soon, quantum resistance when the next update arrives. There is literally no competition. :) And this is just the tip of the iceberg.
look into DERO... it is unparalleled in privacy technology but no marketing has started, so it is still unknown.
I've also gotten more interested in DERO recently. Seems quite promising and the transaction experience was much better than what I'd been used to with BTC and XMR. I found ScoobaMonsta mentioned to be somewhat concerning, although DERO apparently rewards miners in the form of fees from transactions as well. Whether that in lieu of tail emissions is enough or better, I don't know at this point.
DERO, POW, actual encryption instead of obfuscation, 18 seconds blocks with instant confirmation; and it also has smart contracts.
I'm guessing you have never heard of DERO then. Private smart contracts and homomorphic encryption on the blockchain.
Hello Everyone, Did you know, there will be a bunch of great members of the DERO community and privacy focused developers giving presentations and workshops at #nonsensus later this month? Tickets will include 3-Day admission, multiple catered meals, Nonsensus exclusive t-shirts, swag, and NFAs that can only be claimed by attending! Find out more here: https://nonsensus.io/
Scrt is POS with high inflation. Limited validator set which requires above average hardware. Not default privacy on the base layer. Also they weren’t the first to have privacy smart contracts. I think DERO is much better than scrt. But nothing beats Monero 😎.
Premined, POS, unlimited total supply, just for starters is a red flag for me! I’d rather use DERO for private smart contracts! Oasis Network sounds centralised AF! A big NO THANKS from me!
Simple, why are ARRR, Zano, Firo, DERO, and a dozen other privacy projects also unpopular? Either your coin is embraced by all CEXes or it is not. If it is, it's probably not a good privacy coin if that CEX reject XMR on privacy grounds. If it's not accepted on CEXes, it will be hard to purchase and would have to be 100x better than XMR in most ways in order to be able to compete with it, since XMR has a battle proven community and technology behind it that won't likely leave. And if your technology really is 100x better, it will likely be absorbed into XMR once your technology proves itself. In other words, the other coins take the risk and XMR will get the reward before you can break even on your investment.
In no particular order, DERO, XCH, XYM, GBYTE. There are specific reasons why each of these have prospects, and I would allow that getting all the way back to ATH might be improbable in some cases, where the early distribution collapsed the price. But I think they could do well in the bull regardless.
From my experience, CPU on F@H did not earn as much as mining a coin outright such as DERO, RTM, VRSC, etc (depending when). Also there is diminishing returns for F@H "points".
DERO is a homomorphically encrypted protocol with fast and anonymous transactions and smart contracts.
Look into DERO-- likely to do very well in the next bullrun
XMR and DERO is where I'd go.
DERO, revolutionary privacy coin with smart contracts.
DERO. PoW like BTC, private like Monero, smart contracts like ETH, damn fast too. Been quietly developing for a few years, lots of potential here
1. XMR 2. DERO 3. Everything else is a shitcoin
Coins/tokens that have real utility will survive. For me it's MASQ and DERO
Hmm, I should call an ambulance, it looks like you fell on your keyboard while trying to spell DERO.
Yeaaah, judging by my holdings you'd think I'd say Cardano (with Ergo as its sidekick), but I'm fast losing faith in my old favorites seeing their slow development and reading about some of the newer small-cap kids on the block: right now I'm more hyped about Kaspa (speed of Nano with security of Bitcoin; explodes the trilemma by being a block-graph/blockDAG, not blockchain) and DERO (supposedly better privacy&anonymity than Monero and Secret).
You are beyond naive if you think you have any say in their system. How do you win a game that is rigged? You don't play. Exit the rigged game while there is still a door. \#XMR, ARRR, DERO, atomic swaps, p2p DEX
If you're wondering why it's doing so well today [SCRT has big plans in the works](https://forum.scrt.network/t/secret-2-0-the-next-generation-request-for-feedback/6607) as it aims to rework it's tokenomics inflation wise, and harden it's encryption methods. It's also rebuilding its ETH, BNB and XMR bridges as well for added privacy. AND thanks to the Cosmos IBC design, it's aiming to become a privacy hub with the SCRT token being the nucleus of said hub. Other chains like OSMOSIS will be able to utilize SCRTs PAAS (Privacy As A Service) to minimize front running on swaps etc. It will be launching a new token using an array of modern encryption techniques like FHE. It's NFT platform just went full permissionless for creators I know I shill SCRT a lot but I am pretty passionate about privacy projects, and it's doing BIG things...from XMR to SCRT to DERO even...[I got proof down to my Thingiverse uploads from 2014...](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:343050) Back when DASH was called DARK
You don't tell the market your about to dump a large holding before you do. You quietly exit. This was engineered from the start. And now he's consolidating the market with this "liquidity funad" Ask yourself, who benefits? Ask yourself, why now? Don't be a stupid slave. Know the game being played against you. Exit that scam while you can. \#XMR, DERO, ARRR, atomic swaps, DEX

Binance should use those funds to pivot into privacy coins like DERO and 0xMonero. When regulations hits (they inevitably will when CBDCs roll out to prevent capital flight), there will be a stampede to privacy.

Monero cannot scale and Ciphertrace has several patents to track it. I suggest DERO and 0xMR.
By fraud they mean blockcing you from buying crypto from places they or governments don't approve of. There's never been a better time to invest in privacy projects like 0xMR and DERO, at least for those who can see the writing on the wall with CBDCs and upcoming regulation.
I think there will be trends, just like we have seen since 2018 and these trends will change over time. Older project will have to show adoption and utility if they want to survive, they can't just exepct to get new users by doing nothing (looking at you DASH and NANO). I think the biggest trends coming up with the introduction of CBDCs will be privacy projects like DERO and 0xMonero as well as staking projects like MAXX finance and MATIC, which are practically required these days to keep up with the CPI and inflation.
Please show how Monero transactions can be censored? Tari is a digital assets focused blockchain protocol that is built in Rust, private by default, open source, and is being architected as a merge-mined sidechain with Monero. https://www.tari.com/ There’s also DERO. https://dero.io/ which is private by default and handles private smart contracts on it’s base layer. It’s also ASICS resistant POW.
Why not? If I bought XMR at 100$ and it went to 170$ and I cash out, I legitimately made 70$ from cashing out a privacy coin, which aint illegal. Just cuz its privacy coin doesn't mean it was used for illicit activity, and as I said, you cannot taint them because you cannot distinguish 1 XMR or DERO from another XMR or DERO for example. With BTC you can, due to UTXO thats assigned to every BTC coin when its mined.
You can't taint privacy coins, since you can't track them individually. They are fungible in full sense of the word, since they are inseparable from each other. BTC is an exception because each BTC carries an UTXO which identifies the block when it was first mined and each block can be traced to see where it was and for how long during its existence since the data is on the ledger ready to be analyzed. Sure you could blacklist entire privacy coins but that still gets you nowhere since people operating the rigs and doing the transactions cannot be identified and tracked as easily as with open ledgers, and even if they could their assets could only be potentially seized, but cannot be tainted by onchain analysis since I think all privacy coins don't use UTXO, so 1 XMR is indistinguishable from 1 XMR or other privacy coins from the same blockchain. For instance, if you made a mixer on DERO, it would be impossible to view who sent what to it or from it, since miners only mine transactions and if you try to view them through deroscan for chain analysis you won't get no transaction information outside the txid. Meaning mixer service would be indistinguishable from any other transaction inside DERO blockchain and impossible to track since you couldn't view the transaction information of where the coins are being sent to or from.
Well mixer is offline now so its irrelevant. Even if you let your stash sit for ages... its still traceable once it moves. If you let it sit after you mixed it, yea, it will be harder to associate funds mixed and sent afterwards with you, but the mixer is still under surveillance and bots just keep track of everything coming out for further chain analysis, potentially being able to associate the coins trough other variable factors. Its difficult, but still possible. With DERO for instance, it would be completely impossible to track your funds before or after mixing, thus making mixing obsolete in itself.
My pleasure. I am incredibly enthusiastic about all these tech solutions and really saddened that most people don't know or don't care about them. All I can do is spread the awareness :) On the side note, DERO is literally everything I thought crypto was supposed to be back when I got into it couple years ago. Little fun fact is in 2019 there was an XMR exploit that was fixed by looking at DERO's then cryptonote tech which was the same as XMR's. DERO migrated to their custom Homomorphic encryption with 0 blockchain downtime. Impressive stuff for such a small team. There are many honorary mentions in privacy crypto space, from ARRR, DUSK, SCRT and others so couldn't go through all of them but keeping my eye on those as well.
"most part" Lets say someone launders money through Tornado Cash. All coins exiting according to their on chain specs are monitored with all exiting addresses. Doesn't matter if only 10 tainted coins exit and travel to 100 sub wallets - all those wallets are now tainted and under monitoring for further on chain algorithmic analysis. Someone sends you ETH for your etsy webshop services - next day FBI knocks on your door and says you are in charge of illicit funds. Because you, unlike the purportator - didn't hide your online identity so they will track him through - you if needed. Thus criminalizing you. You cant control this, this is how state surveillance aparatus works. Much more complex ofc, but this is a basic breakdown. Now lets say you use DERO bridge to move your ETH assets. Its completely invisible. You cant locate or tie any wrapped dETH as long as you dont transfer it to the native chain. L2 offer this solution to an extent with rollups and obfuscation tech similar to XMR. Any dapp or service contract within DERO chain also operates on complete anonymity meaning no one can determine the origin or destination of the funds or smart contract making your funds UNTRACABLE. And if you use these services with mixnet and onion rerouting tech, you can guarantee your clearnet digital footprint is completely anonymous while you actually visit these service via browsing so there is 0 way to tie you to any wallet they might even be trying to potentially track. Since you can't see its balance, its withdrawal or deposit history its basically non existent to surveillance tech. By using privacy tech you are making it impossible to track the wallet to you, and by using privacy coins and wallets even if they tie the wallet to you they still can't know anything about its transaction data thus again protecting you from anyone who wants to take a sneak peek.
Kucoin should rather explain what they did (are doing) with the coins like KSM, KDA, JUP, SOUL, DERO, ... maintenance takes months ??? (Elsewhere it takes an hour.)
Monero is the king, but DERO is the dark horse. Its like XMR. But with smart contracts. And the most advance encryption on the planet. Total anonymous L1 smart contract blockchain. Its the revolution. We can easily build totally anonymous p2p network there, with escrow and everything in between. Cant wait
DERO Homomorphic Encryption Blockchain Protocol (DHEBP) combines homomorphic encryption and an account based model to provide instant transactions as well as security and privacy. DERO Σ (Sigma) mining and Σ blocks create utilize a network wide consensus for mining as well as rewarding all miners for effort vs a winner take all block reward system. All Transactions are settled in the same block in which they occur, allowing for instant full confirmation. These features together create a 51% attack and double spend immune blockchain. *Laughs in DERO*
Get yourself CRU (Crust network), DERO and CKB. 1k each, 33% now and DCA the rest through half a year 10% each month and forget about them for 5 years. Thats my long term hold pick strategy. These projects gonna be insane in next run.
The parallels with wildcat banking are a very good point. One of the reasons why I’m very long on only two cryptos: DERO and ALGO. It’s either total privacy or playing nice with regulation and existing capital. The gray area can make you money but it won’t last and will either be absorbed or destroyed.
Ye np bro love talking to people who like to digest information since I am like that myself x))) >That's what I do as well, the hard part for me is figuring out which time candle to use. I look at 1m and 5m mostly and when I see we've been going up in steps in those time candles - so I suppose that's essentially looking higher time frame candles too. True. The thing is higher time frames are just reflection of smaller time frames, you should view smaller time frames for signals of reversal but you should follow big time frame candles to determine up or down trends based on those changes in smaller time frame candles. Its like setting a bet against your own prediction, I used to watch the market for years without ever making a purchase just viewing and observing. Also the phasing is important, if the coin has 2-3 week chart green candles you can bet your ass the red candle is coming, I have never seen a coin I think with more then 4 weekly monthly green candles. Timing is also important, thats how i am able to predict some of these down turns, if the weekly candle looks like it will end up in green you must watch the minute candles during the week/month closing because usually the chart will invert somewhere along the top, making the candle that will start the next time frame go down and start the red downtrend phase. Around new years was dead obvious this was the case, all coins almost finished in green candle i think october or november so I was sure it will start dipping into red candles next month since the green ones were far too overstretched for the current month. >If you are winning in this game over a long period of time, I want to listen to what you have to say! Agreed. Same thinking here, but then it also depends what you consider winning. I had 44 ETH at some point in 2017, some would say holding onto it would be winning. And true, I would made MAD money if I had holded till 4k. But thats a big IF. And its a big IF if I would sell it there or wait for the 5k or 10k mark if I had hold mentality. I dont really care tho, I cash out periodically and every cash out is a win for me since its free money, I used a lot of it to improve my current life and get a new roof and bunch of equipement to do what I wanna do in real life so yea, if I just holded I would have no way to afford that UNTIL i cash out. Plus I dont like the idea of being a millionaire anyway, seems like a hassle to have so much and have to worry about it, plus everyone will want to get some and I dont wanna feed the regular financial system because if you make millions you will probably end up buying a house and a car and all that "crypto millionaire when lambo? " shit. Cashing out and buying into regular financial structure is just feeding the capitalist beast, and I wanna starve it as much as I can because thats the only way we get a new system since this one is fundamentaly broken and we need to break it by not participating in it as much as possible. >My first order at 45.15 hit for LTC. I'm only trading LTC right now as I think it's a diamond in the rough, for the next bull run. Yes LTC is like that stable horse you can always bet on. The problem is his gain aint insane - because no one uses it to hoard but to actually transact. Same like XMR. Its unbreakable because people will always use it. I will buy it for transaction no matter what price it is because its everything a currency is supposed to be. It will have its time to shine for sure. Also yea I heard about its privacy update :D i support that shit and when I saw it was being delisted because of it I was jumping from joy :D fuck the system!!! The only thing is it is still pseudo anynomous to my understanding, or is it full privacy? Can you watch the adress you were sent funds from on the blockchain ledger still? The coins I listed go little above just serving as privacy chain, as they have a lot of other cool projects built on them. DERO is a fully functional privacy chain with smart contract making it like ETH XMR which enables building of privacy apps for all type of usages. Still waiting for some to be made but their fundamentals are insane and you can also send encrypted messages with your transactions which are also lightning speed even faster then LTC. OXEN is also a promising chain with their messanger Sessions and their Lokinet internet traffic "spoofer". [https://lokinet.org/](https://lokinet.org/) Download this and put exit.loki as your exit node and all your internet traffic will be rerouted through onion network thus making you invisible while online. Im all in on privacy so any chain update for privacy is good but I like these projects as they offer some nice products that work regardless of the currency. Also GHOST was initiated by John Mcaffe, and they will try to make a privacy GHOST DAI like stable coin so that will be interesting if it emerges since no stable coin I know offers that privacy transaction layer :S Especially with rise of the censorship and centralization, its important to have these privacy features. Also forgot to add NYM project on that list of coins, really big one as well in future I think. All in all a lot of nice things out there just gotta dig deep, gonna purchase more of these coins after they fall some more cuz I think they will, got some in the bag but nothing much atm still in some small profit but will see how it develops :) good luck bro!
Thats cuz privacy blockchain apps are unrelated to their crypto coin prices. Check out https://lokinet.org/, a project by Oxen coin community. Their Sessions blockchain messenger is also free and very nice, used by shitload of jurnalists and people under censorship regimes around the world. Also might wanna check https://nymtech.net/. DERO project also sounds promising since its a smart contract privacy network but still waiting for projects to be built upon it. There are many promising things being built with privacy blockchain technology, you just took Monero because its a privacy currency with no real blockchain applications since it doesn't have smart contracts, since its made as currency first and foremost. Other privacy projects are working on apps and software that will let you use blockchain tech as means to escape tracking online, with lokinet doing it already and nym promising kind of a same thing but as I understand different since it will be specifically made to evade NSA tracking tools and protocols.
I am talking about XMR, DERO, WOWNERO, ARRR whales and so called privacy advocates who I know that publicly shit on BTC, ETH, BNB, ADA etc. and then go and secretly BUY, TRADE, SELL and INVEST in some of those very things. These are people with large followings, you likely know of some of them. This is A-Grade bullshit, if you agree with that and accept it, that's on you. These fuckers know who they are. They scream privacy, tell everyone Bitcoin is a shit coin and then they go and buy Bitcoin, trade it make a a fuck ton of money, sell it, rinse and repeat.
I agree with you on the points about govs restricting access 100% but it does not matter WHY. The fact is that all of the volume is in BTC, ETH etc.... it's like saying Parler is the better social media platform because of free speech, well it doesn't matter because Twitter and Insta have the eyeballs. And you are talking about people with likely a few hundred dollars or few thousand, I am telling you for a FACT, 100%, the whales in XMR, DERO, WOWNERO etc.....they BUY, SELL, TRADE and INVEST in spy-coins yet in the same breath will shit on them publicly. They know who they are.
DERO doesn’t need tricks a Pony. It just works really well 👍🏻
Lokinet from Oxen is by far the most useful crypto privacy related app to date. Its masks all your traffic like an VPN but even better since its blockchain encrypted and also completely free. Their Sessions communication app is also nice. But yea secret is also nice, DERO looks promising as well.
Xmr 4 life. But that DERO also looks nice, gonna be interesting if they deliver.
I’m going to sprinkle buys around on the alts that are integrating blockchain with existing financial networks and on ‘privacy’ projects like Monero and DERO.
Basically all the privacy coins have been gaining on BTC. So XMR, but also DERO, CCX, ARRR, some days even GRIN is showing some resilience.
I've said this before but I have to mention it again, 44 billion dollars is a waste considering that that money could have been spent building a decentralized, blockchain based social media platform on a Web3 chain like the internet computer or DERO.
Monero requires the same KYC's on and off ramps to trade as Bitcoin and since it is only traded on centralized exchanges, it can be tracked, blacklisted, and banned. This is one of the reasons why I sold my Monero for 0xMonero and DERO. DERO for example has smart contract capability, which Monero does not.
You can't know how well it is hidden because you simply don't know how and where it is hidden. There are legal loopholes created on purpose to allow the haves to accumulate wealth while the have nots are subjected to total surveillance and squeezed to the bone. This is why the wealth gap keeps getting wider and wider. You're free to indulge in delusions of accountability but hard facts prove the contrary. Surveillance favors the rich and turns privacy into a luxury. Privacy is a human right and a totally anonymous L1 blockchain like DERO allows ordinary citizens to claim back their right to privacy creating a shield against manipulation from the ultrarich. You're regurgitating nonsense and you obviously haven't spent much time educating yourself on this topic. Study it some more.
For the 50th time, study DERO. Buy DERO for your future. Your coin is bleeding because it is ultimately pointless. And I have been saying this for months not just today check my history. Stop being a poorly sarcastic flid online and do something involving cryptography...like studying it and what it is.
https://twitter.com/sethforprivacy/status/1517467824058515457?t=Hl8Vo-57P9ac5aAKTbUvqA&s=19 Before celebrating, check this out and the thread that follows about DERO.
Too be hones this is first time i have seen any comment regarding DERO.
Been saying here for months to you goons to buy DERO or at least study it and learn something new. Now your crying about a bear market Study DERO!
What do you think about ARRR? I’ve read about DERO. Unique project. Private Smart Contracts built off of DAG. It can also be used as a currency like Monero.
Where can I learn more about DERO?
You know that expression, man points at the moon, dog looks at the hand? Check DERO Stargate: sigma mining, homomorphic encryption, and come tell me what part "was forked from Monero". Why do some of you Monero maximalists have to be like this this? Do you seriously not get the difference between an L1 blockchain with HE that is cryptographically guaranted to be anonymous and Monero?
Disclaimer: I own some Monero. That being said, Monero is not the best privacy tech because Monero uses obfuscation. This makes it much more private than most other coins out there, but an obfuscation algorithm can still be decompiled and the entire blockchain can be decrypted and analysed. This is why the IRS has a bounty for decompiling Monero's obfuscation algorithm. It can be done, and there is no way to know if anyone has done it or not. Someone might be doing chain analysis on Monero already. The only tech capable of mathematically guaranteeing privacy is homomorphic encryption because all data/balances are encrypted and nothing is ever decrypted to send/receive or perform any operations on the data. There is only one blockchain out there that has managed to implement homomorphic encryption and that's DERO. Here is a really good [Twitter thread on DERO](https://twitter.com/TheeeeOA/status/1515240049041829894) someone posted today. Disclaimer: I own some DERO.
Since you hold XMR you might want to look into DERO. It has the most advanced tech of all privacy coins and of any crypto out there, it's called homomorphic encryption. If you don't know what it is then just know it's a big deal. Here is Vitalik predicting [HE will be one of the megatrends of the 2020s](https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin/status/1248704356758753281).
So, are there any DERO faucets?
Fine. *I publicly apologize for "shilling" homomorphic encryption and DERO to everyone and for proposing a dialectical solution for the surveillance dilemma.* There you go, happy? Nobody is even commenting about the content of my post you are all crazy mad apparently because you never heard about HE before and are too lazy to google it before leaving a comment.
So what if in some wacko scenereo the government banned the transfer of any goods and labels everyone who did so a terrorist? In your scheme the gov is all abiding and can be trusted with "mass surveillance" which imo they absolutely can't be. Don't even give them an inch. What does DERO accomplish for regular people that simple p2p encryption like Signal or PGP cannot? I mean Sha256 is good enough for Bitcoin, it's good enough for me.
Tell me why this reeks. This is probably the first time you ever heard about homomorphic encryption or dero so you think it's a shill. HE is a big deal and DERO is an old project. Educate yourself and try to reason instead of reacting based on your own lack of knowledge.
What if the criminals/terrorists only used DERO and nothing else? Also if they're detectable then that would apply to ordinary people as well if we use anything other than DERO
Why not? This is not a shill, just because you have never heard about homomorphic encryption or DERO before doesn't make it a shill. Think
MASQ and DERO. I feel there will be real demand for these platforms
I hope to see someone there that will speak about homomorphic encryption and DERO. Meta recently called homomorphic encryption [not technically feasible](https://www.wired.com/story/meta-end-to-end-encryption-bsr-report/). I think this assessment of Meta doesn't have to do so much with technical feasibility as with the impossibility to build backdoors when HE is used, and Meta needs backdoors for stay aligned with its notion of "privacy". DERO, on the other hand, has already incorporated full homomorphic encryption (FHE) in L1 (supports smart contracts as well with HE), after 4 years of work (project launched in 2017). This is a big deal and nobody is talking about it yet. I'd expect it to blow up by then.
Indeed, it seems as time goes on privacy is the forgotten thing, but it's also the whole point of crypto lol, proven by what coins used to be in the top 10 years ago. They have been replaced with Doge and Shib and Ada types. We will get there, DERO seems to have injected new fresh buzz around cryptography the engagement the last few weeks has been phenomenal and people are really understanding again. I am very hopeful and we are early ser 😁
Where does one buy this DERO coin?
Where are you guys buying CKB and DERO? New to discreet coins
There is no obfuscation algorithm and the code is open source. The IRS has a bounty on trying to break out the anonymity of XMR but nobody can break it. Finally, the devs are astonishing. Smart contracts make DERO interesting. However, how would that feature be better than other privacy focused chains with this ability, like SCRT, only time will tell.
XMR uses obfuscation so it is not 100% private. If someone, like the IRS, Putin, Xi Jinping has the obfuscation algorithm they can decrypt everything and do on chain analysis to identify anyone of interest. DERO uses encryption, meaning nobody can decrypt anything about anyone without that person's consent/private key. It also supports smart contracts, so anonymous stable coins, DEXes, NFTs will be built on DERO
I like Monero, but DERO imo fares better for several reasons. 1. Monero uses obfuscation while DERO uses homomorphic encryption (data is never decrypted), so nobody can decrypt anything aside from the address key holders. Even when you send/receive payments you never reveal your address. The entire blockchain is encrypted this way so on-chain analysis surface is zero. 2. DERO is immune to 51% attacks thanks to the implementation of DAGs.
Lol... The homomorphic encryption road leads to DERO
It's not TOO slow. It's relatively fast, and does the job. But can't really be used to buy coffee. Some anonymous cryptocurrencies like DERO are much faster (12 seconds) and are as secure or more (also smart contracts ir you're into that kind of thing).
DERO is the future Dero.io
DERO, they are in the process of deploying mainnet. Is the Homomorphic Encryption and BlockDAG with Sigma mining system as great as the community claim it to be?
CKB. Real small projects like DERO and XHV as well. You'll be hearing a lot more from DERO in the coming months
Putting 10 DERO in; DERO DERO DERO DERO DERO DERO DERO DERO DERO DERO
I know DERO isn't talked about much here, but I've been patiently waiting for some time for this release. For people that don't know what it is, check it out, it's pretty neat project for a privacy network.
I been telling yous to buy DERO You don't get it Still time
Buy DERO, research DERO homomorphic encryption blockchain protocol
I don't think we need to be concerned about any of this now that we have privacy protocols that will make your transactions anonymous. All you have to do is research and choose from the likes of KEEP, RAIL, DERO, and so on, though Railgun stands out for me because of the tech, so feel free to feed your eyes.
Lots! But not all are great. Off the top of my head Zcash, OXEN, DERO. And there is upcoming ones like Tari.
