This is the same issue with Secret Network when sending and unwrapping the same amount. At least on SCRT it can be avoided by not upwrapping the whole amount of SSCRT in one transaction to obfuscate the total amount of SSCRT held.

It's interesting, I was going to mention the Tendermint blockchains and SCRT is obviously the one doing the most for privacy transactions. It's so easy to spin up a new chain on Cosmos network.

ATOM, JUNO, EVMOS, SCRT, OSMO... ATOM and JUNO are top builds. EVMOS, SCRT in follow up with a sprinkle of OSMO for airdrops... Im playing around with some LPs, little farming... Building a cash position to get into GNO whenever that drops... Im getting a little bag that I know of from the airdrop, but Ill likley add to that... Same with Jackyl when that comes out... But thats all secondary to my ATOM position.

Many cryptocurrencies have been deemed securities by the SEC and have had judgment against them for example Enigma (now SCRT) and AMP without their being an investment contract as described in the post. The SEC already is doing selective enforcement on different cryptos. XRP was used to fund Ripples operations Its value is tied to the success or failure of Ripple Ripple has marketed multiple acquisitions and other company actions as being “bullish” for XRP. To say the SEC has no case here is ridiculous when this exact treatment has already been successfully used against other cryptos like ENG and AMP. Crypto founders have been using ICOs for cash generating schemes with reckless abandon.

This lawyer has no idea what he is talking about if this is the conclusion. Many cryptocurrencies have been deemed securities by the SEC and have had judgment against them for example Enigma (now SCRT) and AMP without their being an investment contract as described by you. XRP was used to fund Ripples operations Its value is tied to the success or failure of Ripple Ripple has marketed multiple acquisitions and other company actions as being “bullish” for XRP. To say the SEC has no cash here is ridiculous when this exact treatment has already been successfully used against other cryptos like ENG and AMP.

Ah ye my bad, thought that was already the case. But ye think the biggest thing is. Both are looking at confidentiality, both have a different audience as in can be used on different chains. Rose just offers something else besides confidentiality, parcel. Which was the initial reason I got interested in Oasis. Parcel is also something SCRT could use which is something to keep in mind. Hope to see a lot from Oasis once their products go live. I take you are invested in SCRT, good luck with that as well, confidentiality will be needed on every chain eventually, when people realize how much it is needed in Web3.

Mentions:#SCRT

Good question, I will answer it with a bias towards ROSE though as that is like 100% of my portfolio. Alike: both have confidential smart contract support, SCRT had this already a couple of months - a year before ROSE. Differ: SCRT only supports these confidential smart contracts for chains in the ATOM ecosystem or whatever that is called. Not really that invested in ATOM. ROSE supports confidential smart contracts on their own Chain and also supports it as an EVM which is the big news right now. As that allows any application on ethereum to make easy use of confidentiality. ROSE also has another big product called Parcel, which is actually their BIG thing, not these confidential smart contracts. Parcel makes encrypted data storage and computation possible without the risk of a data breach or a company selling your data. That's what Parcel is in short. Would highly recommend you look into this product as it could be used by any major data company if the Proof of Concept with Meta is a success.

ATOM and some smaller projects over there... JUNO, EVMOS, KUJI. OSMO, SCRT... TBF, its a worthy dyor

Solid picks with good diversification. However, you seem to be missing out on MATIC and L2s like OP. I got others like GMX, OCEAN, ATOM, SCRT, NGM, XPR, and ALGO too. My portfolio is always subject to review based on the projects' developments and updates.

That's a good list you got. My options are focused toward Cosmos generally; SCRT, ATOM, EVMOS. And I have FLD, & POK on my watchlist.

Mmmm Secret already have bridges and it's also IBC connected, so you can swap anything for Atom and then for SCRT

Spaghetti code was just an extreme example, I haven't reviewed their code, so I can't talk on that. Anyway, I like that there's a privacy coin on Cosmos, I just wanted to tell my experience and ask for updates, that's it. I'm currently converting my EVMOS staking rewards into SCRT (wasn't my priority, to be clear, but still in the queue of bags to build up), so you don't need to convince me.

Mentions:#EVMOS#SCRT

Current staking rewards are 18.92% per year for staked ATOM in keplr. Staked ATOM qualifies you for airdrops too. When a new project is built on the network, they usually airdrop a small portion of that new project's coins to everyone staking ATOM to introduce it to the community. Some projects are worth just a few cents per coin but some become very successful like JUNO, OSMO, EVMOS. The great part is you can get airdrops for staking airdrops. JUNO, OSMO, EVMOS, SCRT, STARS have all dramatically increased the amount of new airdrops you receive. Projects will often take the snapshot months before announcing it, which incentivizes people to keep their coins staked and interact more with the entire Cosmos ecosystem.

Use Keplr wallet or Cosmostation for ATOM staking, and just about every coin on the cosmos ecosystem. Most of the APRs are not ridiculously high too, and not low either; ATOM is around 18%, SCRT 22%, NGM 25%, OSMO 23%, JUNO 82% with EVMOS still over 100% for now. Some of them like NGM, has buyback boosting the APR and not just inflation. Go ahead DYOR

I think not being mentioned much is also a reason for the strong performance. Less paperhands to dump every time. Cosmos community generally seem to be quite good at hodling. Got SCRT, NGM, JUNO and EVMOS alongside ATOM staked and cooking.

Before anyone jumps into ANY staking play it’s a fair reminder that you should check the inflation rate. For instance, stakingrewards calculates the SCRT adjusted ratio to be 6.95%.

How come no one ever mentions Cosmos blockchain? In my opinion, Cosmos (ATOM) is one of the most prospective layer 0 blockchain out there and it has lots of exciting projects to explore, namely EVMOS, JUNO, OSMO, NGM, SCRT, and CMDX.

A bit but not all the way. Cosmos is a pretty decent project with a lot of sub chains. There will absolutely be some buy the rumor sell the news, as there always is, but long term it's a decent play. As far as I'm aware, there hasn't been much for any catastrophic events over the last year and it survived the whole Luna fiasco fairly unscathed especially for defi. I know juno launch was some sort of mess but it's got some promising on chain projects like SCRT and the lossless lottery and the UI is rather intuitive and super user friendly even for 1st time defi platform users.

Why focus on only ATOM? There are a lot of L1s in the Cosmos ecosystem. OSOMO, JUNO, SCRT, EVMOS, to name just a few. And there are some awesome liquidity pools in the ecosystem, too.

Currently staking 13 Atom but did have 25 a few months back (which was unstaked and used elsewhere). All my buys were around $27-33 and that wasn't a bad price at the time either. Trying to get up to 100 ideally and then let it grow. But it's hard balancing with other superb projects like Juno, SCRT, OSMO and EVMOS. I've started Kuji too now.

My good purchases over the last 4 months: RVN, ERGO, ATOM, LTC My bad purchases over the last 4 months: SCRT, AR, STX

Trying to get to 100 on all. Atom is lagging behind the most. Reached on SCRT and around 20-30 on others. Just waiting for payday each month and hoping the price range doesn't shoot up too much. It'll be exciting bull run for Cosmos for sure!

Mentions:#SCRT

I do... I stake my ATOM, JUNO, SCRT etc on Keplr. I withdrew my EVMOS off of OSMO and it went to the evmos site, Im staked in there... But thats a Metamask place, Id like to keep my coins together and not scattered around a bunch of wallets.

I'm currently accumulating JUNO, OSMO, and ATOM. Besides the EVMOS and GRAV I've been contemplating picking up, I've considered getting some SCRT, but have heard mixed things about it. Same with STARS. I've thought about it, but am not sold.

My primary holdings are ATOM, JUNO, EVMOS... I have a little sprinkling of OSMO, SCRT and AKT... Im LPing a bit on OSMO too (its handy to have a faucet that gives me daily gas for when I hit max delegate and need to claim rewards or something later) Im not 100% sold on holding big bags of OSMO. But eligibility for airdrops is important to me too... Im excited for some newer projects coming on soon, JCKL and GNO. Some say Starz but IDGAF about NFTs really... Theres all this liquid staking stuff happening, IDK how much ill f-around with that yet... All of this, youve got time. No need to FOMO...

The Secret community needs to get their shit together. They're quickly becoming the encrypted version of Solana. I'll cut them some slack because encrypted blockchains are a lot harder than a normal L1, but SCRT needs to get serious about funding their infrastructure. I'm very unimpressed with the encrypted L1s so far.

Mentions:#SCRT

I get that, it does make sense... Its why I dont have a lot in OSMO, SCRT, I have zero Starz... I see it as a Low, Medium, High Risk positions... ATOM is my lowest, EVMOS riskiest but rewardiest. JUNO, sits midtown... There is a lot happening over on JUNO fwiw... It wouldnt take much to get a couple powerhouses that came from the junoverse, which will pull JUNO with them... Its why I can make a good case for JUNO returning to ATHs... If so thats an easy 9x from here

The full airdrop Special. ATOM, OSMO, JUNO, EVMOS some SCRT and some STARS and 1 NETA

Tough call, depends on what youre doing I suppose... I like JUNO as a project, i can see them hitting ATHs again. That and the staking APR is great (will be after the thirdening too). Same with EVMOS... Those are my primary holdings... I do have a sprinkle of SCRT, OSMO too. I dont have the same faith in them as the others, so my position is smaller. Its enough to keep eligibility for airdrops, which not my top priority, is still a worthy reason... For the most part I compound rewards into ATOM... Its my blue chip, lets see if im right

Yeah, I know that JUNO, EVMOS, SCRT, OSMO, STARS, are solid, but focusing on ATOM makes sense too. I’d rather do that than having a portfolio spread too thin

I do put a bit towards BTC and ETH occasionally, but honestly I am primarily eyeing SCRT. IMO, crypto NEEDS privacy to achieve true mass adoption, and Secret is the only smart chain with layer 1 encryption. It also opens the door to much more attractive smart contract possibilities. Also has good staking rewards....I guess I may be a sucker for that 😂

EVMOS is my biggest APR and gets me about 7 or $20/day, ATOM I just have *a lot*, so I get about 1 ATOM a day, JUNO not much yet, SCRT closing in on my 1000, and OSMO I'm still not sure I want to keep doing.

This is exactly why SCRT is designed to be private but also work with regulations. It's a good mix of privacy and regulatory compliance.

So right now, my accumulation with actual money is done for the year. I have a lot staked and I’m converting to USDC every day until a big dip happens, then I’ll throw down on ATOM/EVMOS/JUNO/SCRT. Now if we have another massive drop, I’ll probably buy a ton more, but if we stay at/near these levels it’ll just be USDC buys.

I shill pretty hard on the cosmos, but I gotta tell you why. I re-entered cc in Feb of this year, got all stupid excited again and got busy in defi and staking etc. Really pushed to make sure I had the minimums to catch airdrops... I then took a huge hit when we dropped this spring... Ive lowered my average with some buy ins and compounded my staking rewards... Im within a couple hundred bux of being break even right now. Ive got a great little money machine building up and I really want yall to be here too. Holding ATOM, JUNO, EVMOS (Biggest positions). OSMO, SCRT ( much smaller) and a couple LPs on osmosis.

most important factor being you must be staking certain crypto (ATOM, OSMO, SCRT, JUNO, others)

So I stuck to my Cosmos rewards to USDC plan for the month for a full 5 days! I gave in and bought a bunch of SCRT with the rewards and it turned out to be a pretty great idea. I will be going back to rewards to USDC now, but SCRT had such a nice dip that I had to get in when it hit 1.01. That’s basically the type of dip I was saving for in the first place. Was able to snag a little under 300 for free!

SCRT...Secret Network. It's the only smart chain with layer 1 encryption. They already have encrypted NFTs, where only the owner can see it's contents, and encrypted tokens, where no one can see your stacks and transaction amounts. Plus, there's bridges to ETH, BTC, BSC, and others. So you can actually transfer your current tokens/coins over to Secret for safekeeping. It's a no brainer for the next bullrun, IMO. Mass adoption of crypto will 100% necessitate privacy, and SCRT is at the forefront of that right now

I got into Cosmos ecosystem through SCRT, loved it, researched the rest of the projects and picked up ATOM, NGM, JUNO and EVMOS. Solid use cases and working teams with consistent partnership is one of the main criteria that keeps me in them. I'm always reviewing my bags though periodically to discard or add new projects.

Yup, agree with this. I'm a big fan of ATOM and SCRT myself, as well as using OSMO for earning some of those high yields to churn back into ATOM and SCRT. Lots of potential there in my opinion.

I'm familiar with the SCRT grift and have no interest in it whatsoever.

How could there be any other choice? Though I wish SCRT were included as that blockchain and for example Shade Protocol are also fascinating examples of the category.

By using a token focused on privacy. XMR and SCRT have this and I would love for you to show me how you can see where those tokens don’t improve transactional privacy? Hence why I mentioned a cross chain world rather than a single monolithic currency. Not sure why everyone likes to hyper focus on one crypto. I explained a few posts up how some are offering utility as currencies and some are offering utility in other aspects. Why would you focus on one type of crypto after reading that explanation? Sorry for the rant but this comment chain is just crazy with how all over the place no coiners are. To simply answer your question, if the ledger is private then no one can see it. Banks specifically pony out your info to whoever asks (or pays). If you wish to have privacy in a transaction use XMR or SCRT who support private ledgers.

CRO use to be my favorite crypto due to their uniqueness and active team, although it has been replaced by SCRT since the change in their staking rewards, MATIC on the other hand is still one of my favorite too, I'm considering buying more SCRT because of the recent launch of their Fina mobile Wallet and their Ledger App might cause a spike in the token price.

My eyes have been on CHZ as football clubs continue to hit up and also on SCRT due to its upcoming upgrade. Aside from this, BNB is the third crypto I'm accumulating.

For POS assets, you can easily stake with validators via the supported wallet, like the case with Cosmos projects \[SCRT, ATOM, EVMOS\], I get decent APYs on those. I have CTSI staked in the decentralized Cartesi pool as well earning 20% APR Even though Binance is the safest centralized platform, I still feel good having control of the keys to my asset.

No buying shitcoins in 2022. It's a good time to buy privacy protocol tokens instead. SCRT, AZERO, OASIS.

You know the top is near when everyone starts talking about it. Even the cleaner talks about it. That's when you start to DCA out. I tried that many times and it has worked. Now is a good time to buy when everyone else is scared. Loading up ETH with people thinking it will go sub 500. The same with SCRT with people thinking it will go sub .5

There are a lot of opportunities we will not catch as long as this space exists. One good opportunity I got was buying SCRT at .8 and selling at 10x even though it went a bit higher. The bear market has given another opportunity to buy below 1 again.

Here's my strategy Stake ATOM, JUNO, EVMOS, primarily... secondarily stake OSMO, SCRT. Collect the staking rewards... on big Green days trade staked tokens for USDC, collect rewards daily while the market goes up/levels off all placed in USDC... once things get red, buy the dips with your USDC... just keep shaving $s off the market and compound them into your holdings. Once your net + do what you want... take your USDC and buy you something nice

I believe KDA is a good long-term buy IMO but they need to improve in terms of their development if they are to achieve all they are set up. But in terms of interoperability, scalability, and security, I will buy MATIC, KDA, and SCRT.

Haaa, I don't know if the comments are sarcastic. I hope they are, not sure people are seriously clamoring for CEX staking. I'm more of a defi person, I prefer staking on native wallets, since it's non-custodial and you have complete control. Most projects recently now have some sort of on-chain staking and I'm doing: DOT via polkadot.js ATOM, SCRT, NGM, JUNO, EVMOS via Keplr wallet XPR via protonwallet CEX do have their advantages though.

If they don't know how cool [SNIP721 protocol NFTs](https://github.com/SecretFoundation/SNIPs/blob/master/SNIP-721.md) are, they should look into what Baedirk and Co. created. My personal favorite is the NFT project Baedirk themselves is co-creator of called Mystic Skulls on SCRT. Same random trait concept of the OG Punks, but due to the private side of things, you can [utilize things like staking or other interaction based transactions to reveal what items your skull is "wearing"](https://twitter.com/ReedCulver/status/1526561346950668294) Owners can also choose to never reveal a trait on their skulls, leaving the scratch off lottery ticket un-scratched...keeping rarity scores in the unknown driving value up on un-revealed skulls. TLDR; SNIP721 NFTs have both private and public facing "attributes" which lets owners and creators do [cool things](https://scrt.network/blog/secret-deep-dive-unlocking-web3-movies-with-secret-nfts)

Cosmos ecosystem is a good place to earn good APY/stake, and I think you can use cryptodotcom defi wallet to stake ATOM, but not sure if you can use it to stake the likes of OSMO, NGM, JUNO, SCRT, and other Cosmos tokens because I use Keplr wallet for those.

r/cosmos r/cosmosairdrops All the info is there.... Basically stake w a validator out of the top 20 who doesn't have a zero commission Stake ATOM, JUNO, EVMOS, OSMO, SCRT... that's a good start You'll get differing opinions on how many of each... but as much as u can, min 10 each... 100 each is better

About 25% each: ATOM EVMOS JUNO The remaining 25% is in SCRT, OSMO and cash (I was 40% cash until very, very recently)

IMO this is quite risky business you are doing, first time hearing about SCRT, AKT, EVMOS. I prefer to stick to BTC/ETH.

Exactly, only the greedy ones get rekt right now. I only DCA into a few altcoins like SCRT, ETH, KCS, and SPOOL. I love their staking rewards as it suits my long-term investment plan. I only trade spots and I try not to have an over-diversified portfolio.

It is likely to break it with the merge drawing closer. Psychological barriers are always level to break but once broken, we are likely to experience some good pump. I can relate this to when SCRT broke its $1 mark after the news of the Mainnet upgrade came up and we have seen over a 40% increase ever since. Fundamentals play a huge role right now.

OP I think you missed out on "**POS Staking**", or more precise, **Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS):** This aims to increase network security. It allows holders of the network’s token to outsource the role of validation to a delegate. These delegates then form into groups and assume the role of finding a consensus among themselves. There is usually an unbonding period when you unstake, normally from as little as 1 day to as much as 28 days. This is for POS networks like XPR, ADA, and cosmos projects (ATOM, JUNO, SCRT, NGM, OSMO EVMOS). I'm staking all that I mentioned asides from ADA by the way.

It's highly recommended for beginners to start with buying either BTC/ETH & stake them. Trading is for the Pros. After 3 yrs in crypto in my case, I still prefer the buy, hodl/stake method vs trading. The incentive to lock ATOM, CTSI, SCRT & many others is still sustainable & rewarding.

I will surely have more NGM, SCRT and ATOM due to staking and that should be approximately approaching another bull run if history is kind enough to keep on repeating. So I'm gucci! Sounds like a good investment plan, hopefully, all gains don't go to paying the hospital bills. Please none of my bags should be hacked or exploited meanwhile.

I'm a big fan of cosmos token for sure. Been staking SCRT and ATOM tokens which makes me eligible for airdrops. Osmosis is an awesome DEX.

As a beginner, you are better off staking than trading which can be a bit tricky risky too. There are a number of coins to consider staking such as ETH, BUSD, ATOM, NGM, EVMOS, SCRT, JUNO, etc.

Yea, true... but again, UST was built by big brains too... I don't trust algo-stables I'm very much pro SCRT, and I'm staking a bag myself (One I intend to grow too).
