If SCRT is currently like $500 that's possible! Haha

Exactly. "Some people are saying" Now where have I heard that before? Id be thrilled if SCRT saw $5 this year let alone $50...thats just not happening.

Mentions:#SCRT

Lol, I'm a big fan of SCRT, but come ON >According to some research, many people think that SCRT will hit a price of 50$ – 100$ in 2022

I am not looking at you BTC, I will start DCAing with ETH from $700 before the merge and a few low caps, especially SCRT because of the privacy DeFi apps they have.

Mentions:#BTC#ETH#SCRT

SCRT is also a very active one, but truth be told I'm never going to buy $1000 worth of it now, my plan is to DCA with ETH and some low caps, SCRT inclusive, at a lower price because my TA shows BTC still has a couple of steps down.

Mentions:#SCRT#ETH#BTC

I don't know how to feel about this. I absolutely hate Tarantino and Lee, but I also own a bunch of SCRT. 🤷

Mentions:#SCRT

The best way to keep your funds is staking them and not care about the APY. No need of chasing high APY that will get you rekt. I just don't want to sell my SCRT, Rowan and atom so I stake them there on Keplr.

Mentions:#SCRT

So my bullish look on SCRT is the fact that it can have encrypted smart contracts. Are there any other solution to this that would make SCRT obsolete? I haven't been following developments in the space lately

Today I reached the accumulation goal for my "four horsemen" of Cosmo set (ATOM, OSMO, JUNO, SCRT.) Even though it was the crash that helped me get here, it still feels nice to have accomplished a goal.

ATOM has a future. IBC, interoperability are among the great features of Cosmos chain so yes it's hot a role to play here. You can DCA at this low prices and also look at other projects in the Cosmos ecosystem. I will recommend JUNO, NGM, EVMOS and SCRT

I hope airdrops won't start asking for crazy numbers now that the price is down. Cos it would fuck up a lot of people Loyalty must be rewarded. In 6 months they can start asking for more...but def not now If they kill the airdrops... cosmos will die. I hope they are aware of that But yes, SCRT will go down the drain, JUNO too. But if ATOM manages to survive this bear market will render great things in the future. I guess summer will be the time for buying

I'm keeping a small portfolio at the moment. ETH, SCRT, KCS, and TRIAS are the gems I'm holding. I don't want to over-diversify.

Based on recent proposals for regulations in the crypto space I think that's one major thing that will make privacy projects stand out. SCRT is one project I have always looked out for although Railgun will be another good addition because of its delivery of complete privacy utility for DeFi and cryptocurrency.

Mentions:#SCRT

OK, myself, I put small amounts (20 to 30 euros) per week either to ADA, ALGO and I have sorted API3 and SCRT (small amounts for the time being). I have not done eth and BTC for a while, feeling that they will go lower.

SOL should use this time with reduced pressure to fix their broken chain, I had high hopes with that one. Still do. I'm willing to bet that cosmos eco projects too will bounce back as they're majorly L1s themselves, and actively developing. Can easily see dev activities with ATOM, SCRT, NGM, EVMOS. Proposals flying in too. However, anyone thinking this bounce will be swift should tone down expectations for their own sake.

SCRT is one of my favorite under the radar picks. Privacy enabled smart contracts with flexibility to meet regulatory requirements. They have working dapps like a private email client. If you are bullish on privacy and web 3.0 being decentralized its a decent play.

Mentions:#SCRT

I'm buying the dip but I'm certainly not dumping ALL of my cash into anything right now. Using the DCA strategy is best. I'm focused on making my assets work for me, hence I'm looking at ATOM, OSMO, JUNO, EVMOS, SCRT, and ROWAN in the cosmos ecosystem as well as CTSI, which I'm staking on Binance. ...and to answer your questions: \- I don't think we're close to the bottom. More pain to be expected \- Tons of projects won't survive this bear market, especially the memes \- Nobody knows exactly how long that will take

Me : ATOM @30, JUNO @30, OSMO @8.5, SCRT @5.5 😂 You can't be stupider than me

I'm expecting more pain. The plan is to hunt new gems, DCA, and accumulate slowly and just stake my long-term bags. I'm looking at ETH, ATOM, CTSI, OCEAN, FLD, BNB, and SCRT so far. Buying the top 20 coins is a good idea, although I'm not sure about the likes of SHIB, TRX, and XRP. Just a personal opinion.

Very few crypto are even worth the risk of sitting out in. Not because they won't drop but because they at least have chances of recovering. Apart from the obvious BTC and ETH, very very few. Averaging down on my favorite usable alts and focusing less on price and more on development. SCRT, OCEAN, NGM... Will be looking to buy in more when BTC hits rock bottom. Sometimes patience is they key. Both when you're hodling or waiting to buy.

I think the projects on Cosmos try to at least solve a particular niche problem to a larger extent. I have EVMOS and intend to get more when the price drops further. Same goes for some other cosmos eco projects especially SCRT and NGM. e-Money is quite unlike traditional crypto projects which have very little real life value proposition. Being the primary issuers of European based stablecoins gives it value especially with the inclusion of the buyback mechanism. 99% of crypto project tokens don't have that value proposition.

Just DCA into Cosmos. Buying ATOM, Juno, SCRT, and STARS.

You have a better lock investing in ALTs, my recommendations; 50% in ETH, the merge is coming and may close the gap with BTC, 50% on SCRT, it uses smart contracts that are private by default, I used BlackBox, a Dapp built on it which let me transact without revealing my wallet address. This will go mainstream.

SCRT, OCEAN, CTSI, and DIA are good options. They're some of the projects that are actively building in this market with a lot of upcoming developments.

Hey finally a post where we can talk about blockchain architecture! See the thing is between all the chains out there there’s really only about 3-4 different unique ways of scalability (in an architectural sense). You have * interoperability * composability * technical ability When many people ask how Polkadot and Cosmos’ differ it’s quite an easy comparison because both are achieving scalability through the means of interoperability. Avalanche and Polygon use interoperability but more technical ability than a focus on composability. Quant fits into the technical category for me, this is where chains like LINK and QNT and ALGO fit in because their modularity isn’t a feature to their entire system as compared to Cosmos. From the core Cosmos is a monolith modular focused blockchain using liteclients to scale horizontally and IBC to standardize lite client integration and composability. ICS (interchain standards) are being adopted cross chain. I’m not entirely familiar with areas outside my expertise so I find it easier to exemplify the differences rather than analyze QNT’s similarities (whether that be in product or in a mistaken understanding of mine). QNT aims to be what is described as a l0 but really as LINK has shown to struggle with, (and cosmos in a different way I’ll discuss momentarily) some product-services aren’t directly profitable and therefore revenue generation or value accrual must be made on other strong-points. Cosmos’ has shown through this cycle that it struggled to capture value in proportion to its success (mind you I’m not shilling I’m trying to be factual). Cosmos did not garner the attention LUNA did or really even the hype of JUNO or SCRT at their peaks... ATOM had a problem accruing value because as an open source develop oriented project, the value cosmos brought was in its DX (developer UX). Cosmos is an amazingly friendly ecosystem to developers and is the largest SDK being built on in blockchain currently. This boom of growth was not capture entirely in ATOM token but instead in the vibrant ecosystem that grew. QNT is more like LINK. QNT is a powerful technology and will likely find its way to be IBC native sometime. Chains like LINK and Quant are going to show that you don’t just need modularity as an architecture but you also need it as a service and that private sector technologies will depend on the ability to connect to cross-chain data infrastructure is what makes the proposition of QNT promising but again doesn’t guarantee product market fit. Gen4 crypto will come from the L2’s and L0’s that were tried and trued this cycle. Cosmos is building cross chain composability, and chains like Celestia will launch making integration for chains like QNT into the cross chain ecosystem even easier. I’ll probably add a bag of QNT when markets look good my pockets are thin.

Bullish on SCRT

Mentions:#SCRT

I'm pretty excited about the upside, but timing's gonna matter a lot. In particular, the more time goes by, the more competitors they have (SCRT can do general smart contracts, but has a specific angle on it; gnoland will do general smart contracts). On the upside, there's extra COSMWASM devs from Luna now, which is nice. I feel safer investing in SCRT, but feel I have a higher upside on JUNO right now (due to how far it fell, mostly).

Mentions:#SCRT#JUNO

This is exactly what Secret Network (SCRT) is designed to do with their privacy enables smart contracts. They already have a functioning email client called Altermail built on it.

You have hopes in ATOM? I bought my ATOM @ average $30. Aslo JUNO @ 30, OSMO 8.5 and SCRT 5.5 Do you think I will be fine next bull run?

bought my ATOM bag at average $30, don't see it coming back, unfortunately JUNO too @ 30, OSMO 8.5, SCRT 5.5. It's all ruined :(

Why does it suddenly feel like nothing is working properly? I try to bridge a token from SCRT to BSC. Doesn't work, have to contact manual support. I try to deposit a token to Bitstamp. Doesn't work, have to contact manual support.

A diversified portfolio helps one stay afloat. I earn passively from my staked ATOM, NGM, OSMO, JUNO, SCRT and EVMOS

SCRT is growing on me. POS chain with privacy, smart contracts and IBC seems hard to beat. Even if it is clearly a project In development. I have enough for some exposure (and to get airdrops), but I am strongly considering more. The only problem is there are so many good options right now with the market down.

Mentions:#SCRT#POS

I've also had more SCRT, JUNO, STARS, BTSG and BCNA in recent days. Did quite well on that incentivised testnet competition with BTSG so expecting something tasty from that and they also have an airdrop in addition to that. Really just going ham and building up pots increasing eligibility for airdrops and being involved everywhere I can on the chain.

BTC: duh Monero: will rocket once regulation comes to US ALGO: most functional crypto Yolos: Secret SCRT (same as Monero), Kadena KDA (interesting), Metal MTL and Proton XPR (totes yolo)

ETH, ATOM, SCRT are all i'm considering atm. the last is the riskiest obviously

That's so true. People investing big in large mcap thinking they will easily make it. Yeah it's safe but low and mid caps will do the 10x we anticipate. I'm picking a few layer 1 privacy like SCRT to do 10x and even more considering how fast the network is growing and utility of the token.

I prefer POS staking now, most of what I got staked are long term holds (I know I know, holding through a bear market😩), but I decided to do a bit of every strategy. So I'm mostly staking on the cosmos ecosystem through Keplr wallet, APR differs but very reasonable, SCRT 15%, ATOM 11%, ROWAN 184%, NGM 23% (this by far is the most stable price wise, proud of it). I still got other L1 like ProtonXPR staked. Cons of POS staking is the unbonding period which varies from 14 to 21 days.

I'm betting on Cosmos to be the next wave among new projects. No one needs to win Parachain auction before deploying on Cosmos and there are a number of top projects like OSMO, JUNO, NGM, CRE, SCRT already built on it.

DCA plan: BTC ETH ALGO JUN0 I have ATOM, OSMO and SCRT bags for air drops, but don't plan to add to those bags except from staking rewards.

Mostly in stables and waiting to pick up FLD when it hits the market. Doing more staking on Keplr Wallet with ATOM, ROWAN, JUNO, SCRT, OSMO, EVMOS. Recently started staking CTSI on Binance. The returns are decent for each of these assets.

It's always important to know when to abandon a ship. Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way, as I'm down more than 70% on UBX, TRIAS, and ELA. Everything was acquired based on hype and no good research. I'm now slowly building up my portfolio with gems like KCS, BNB, SCRT, and FITFI. I'm confident that with the fundamentals surrounding them and their use cases, I'll be able to earn good returns in the long run.

A simpler solution is to use blackbox (https://blackbox.cash/); description at (https://medium.com/@TriviumNode/preserve-your-privacy-with-blackbox-f7c60b46ee46). Pretty much, it's a mixer that takes input as sSCRT and sends output as SCRT. Since the input side is invisible there's no way to know that your KYCed account even used a mixer, let alone where it sent funds.

Early ATOM holders were the absolute winners of the last bull run. Nothing come close. OSMO,JUNO,NETA airdrops were absolutely massive. I arrived late to the party and still made bank with just 2 or 3 airdrops. Cosmos is just too easy to use, too cool. Keplr wallet is the shit and sending your coins from chain to another is just one click and no copy paset errors . If you are looking for action in the future I think JUNO is the place to be and hopefully SCRT recovers a bit

Its common knowledge that when the market dips its a signal for the best time to DCA and bag more assets. Its also commendable to see a few alts holding up well in the market like XMR and SCRT also noting innovation and tech in Railgun and other platforms which would do well in the next bull run.

I thought I wouldn't hold anything & sell all so as not to make the mistakes those in 2017 did. But here I am still holding some alts. I've been telling people on here to sell everything but stable coins since October (and boy was I wrong about UST). Now I don't even recommend holding any stable coins. I wouldn't buy SCRT or anything other than **possibly** BTC right now. It's ironic to complain about shilling on a shill post. It's ignorant to be upset that someone is correcting false advertising claims that VCs make, instead of being upset that a project with undemonstrated, claimed advantages, is exaggerating their accomplishments and pretending that other projects haven't already done everything they are doing. But that's crypto for you. This market is mostly fake-it-til-you-make-it, sophisticated scams, half truths, and marketing based on the fact that retail have no ability to critically evaluate their tech claims and roadmaps. Oasis is a prime example of a project that repeatedly lies in their marketing. They've gotten better about not blatantly lying (claiming to be the first private L1), but their intention to mislead is clear at this point.

I intend to hold my bags to zero or financial freedom. They're mostly long term picks and I'm staking most of them; ATOM, SCRT, CTSI, OSMO, ROWAN. Asides holding, I plan to add a few new gems to my portfolio; AZERO, JUNO, TEAM, FLD. The latter two are actually new and upcoming (for clarification sake), you can check them out. It's only diamond hands here but I also believe in 'taking profits on the way up'.

I have ETH, BTC, SOL, AVAX, Cosmos (ATOM, JUNO, SCRT, OSMO, AKT) I've been buying ETH, BTC, and Cosmos (this one is my little hobby bet). Mostly that's DCA, but for ETH I have limit orders at levels all the way down to $1k.

I think it's worth it. Could remember cutting a loss on a play sometime last year & putting it entirely on ETH which worked pretty well. Later sold the ETH at $3k, a good trade. Though, I believe if one could continue to DCA on alts \[especially with low FDV\], they will outperform potential blue chips eventually in terms of ROI. ATOM hasn't really done much for me, the likes of SCRT & CTSI were much better in returns.

Hmm someone mentioned having some trouble with SCRT on the osmosis sub earlier. You could always send the Juno back, swap Juno for SCRT on Junoswap and IBC send it to Secret Network.

Hihi - I think this depends a little on your intent. If it's fun/hobby, I'd suggest you find an alt community you like and focus there. For me, these are the Cosmos (ATOM/JUNO/OSMO/SCRT) and Rocketpool (RPL) communities. If it's as an investment, first it's important to have clear expectations. Chances are very good - at least 30% - that you will be down one year from now. My suggestions would be to go with ETH or BTC -- these are by far the least volatile (note - least volatile doesn't mean not volatile... this is a little like saying someone swimming in the pool is the least wet). Because gas fees are devastating to small sums of money, I'd probably suggest staying on an exchange. One alternative is to find an exchange that lets you withdraw to an ETH address on L2 (like Arbitrum or Optimism) - there the fees will be more acceptable.

Took a while for me to find it, but Secret Network (SCRT) Smart contracts with programmable privacy. They already have a private decentralized email service called Altermail. Plenty of other privacy preserving web 3.0 dapps to come in sure, as I believe privacy that also allows flexibility to conform to regulations will be essential to giving people basic digital privacy that they control, not controlled by someone like Google or Meta where you have no privacy.
