first (as others mention) get your coins out of the exchange (coinbase in ur case). coinbase has their own hot wallet called Base. this is because when ur coins are on exchange you don't actually own them. (ie the saying "not your keys, not ur crypto) should CB need the funds for liquidity they can simply take yours and you're SOL. when you move to a hot wallet you then own them. you have the pass keys and no one but you can take them. you essentially become your own bank. you can still actively buy/sell/exchange on CB. this is first line of defense and used for active trading. when ur bag grows and you want to "park" your profits and have high security you'll get a cold wallet (like a Ledger or Trezor). these are hardware wallets completely offline. but first step is def get the coins off the exchange into a hot wallet. there are tons of YT videos. watch them all. as others mention, DO NOT get mixed up in MEME coins or believe the hype of becoming a millionaire overnight. it's complete BS unless you are sitting at ur desk every second of every day timing these shit coins. hope that helps some.

We should all screenshot your comment, as it will not age well.  Reminds me of time when APE coin first came out and it was priced ridiculously high at 15 dollars and XRP was ridiculously low at .40.  An APE enthusiast tried to say APE is light years better than XRP, as APE is backed by ETH, and MEME coins were the future.  APE coin is now hanging onto .55 and XRP around 3.00.  How the tides have changed and this is just the beginning.  We must remember XRP only got legal clarity a couple months ago in August.  ETH went from basically 3 to 3,000 after the ETH free pass speech by William Hinman.  But it took 3 years after the free pass speech to go from 3 to 3,000.  XRP didn’t get a free pass, it took 5 years and 125 million dollars to get legal clarity which is now the law.  Much better than any words of William Hinman who knew nothing about crypto other than ETH lined his pockets, and they had a job lined up for him after he left the government as a hedge fund manager, managing the Ethereum Alliance Foundation.  ETH gate is very real.  So back to the original topic, now that XRP has real clarity and the law states XRP is not a security, it could do the same as ETH, 3 to 3000, without a free pass.  But we have to remember it took 3 years to skyrocket, but the catalyst was the free pass speech.  Less than 2 months ago in August XRP got the blessing, and look at the ETF’s piling in for the month of October, and the big one in November Franklin Templeton.

I would always but always skip futures! Don't go down that road. In case you cannot help it, then I advise patience. Always take the position that would be the liquidation price of your initial trade. You may skip some pumps, butnl you will definitely protect yourself from losses. The question to answer is why there are more off-ramp transactions than on-ramp transactions over the past year. I think Ethereum's entire value was based on meme coins and then people realized solana does it better. You guys kept eating up the worst parts of Ethereum like NFTs, MEME coins (via SWAPS), instead of actual use cases like competing against ticketmaster.
