Not only that but technically most people don't even know that most of the money you put in your 401ks stock brokerages or other aspects are actually using your money to do what they want with and then when they go under you and I foot the bill in taxes. People need to look up "street name". Do you have your stock in a brokerage account or any other account like it it is what's considered "street name". You are actually only the beneficial holder you're not the actual real owner of the particular stock. The same concept that goes in the stock market goes in with crypto. STOCKS: Directly register in YOUR NAME. Your stock. Your property! NOT IN YOUR NAME NOT YOUR STOCK/COMPANY. CRYPTO: Have your own seed phrase/wallet. Your keys your crypto. I would just say that the best performing coins ALWAYS end up being new ones with no bag holders. I think the optimal portfolio follows having the core position built in the bear market, but having a set aside amount of cash (5% of total portfolio) to deploy on some new tech. In my case, I am waiting to buy Monad. Whenever they deploy a coin, I will be ready to buy.

I do think fixed fees are good but you guys overrate them way too much. Companies transact and operate with variable fees everyday. Forex, electricity, price of goods, etc changes every day... as someone who has been in crypto for about 10 years i have two pieces of advice: 1) the best prediction of long term viability of a coin is the strength of the community around it. i don't mean shills i mean the actual community. technical problems can be overcome with a strong enough community that will do what it takes to see a coin succeed 2) ONLY PUT MONEY INTO CRYPTO THAT YOU WILL BE OKAY WITH IF YOU NEVER SEE IT AGAIN i cannot stress it enough. this is basically gambling. spend money on it as if it's entertainment and never expect to see that money again. invest in any shitcoin you want just assume that money is forever gone the moment you spend it. if that money happens to 10x or 100x cool! exit and buy different shitcoins or sell it and keep the money or let it ride. it's just bonus money at that point. if the coin gets rugpulled then fuck the devs but for you at least its no big deal. you never expected to see that money again anyway so whatever

This is literally just to avoid giving businesses a tax loophole otherwise. For example A car dealership can't magically avoid paying taxes by simply taking payment in BTC, thats what this means. I have been riding the waves since last bull run and have not only made a killing off short-sighted, greedy investors like you who FOMO into projects they don't understand under market conditions they *really* don't understand, but made a killing by reinvesting the profits I take partially into blue chip cryptos at their local bottoms, but also some into traditional investments vehicles to minimize risk. Shit, my brother (who was 14 at the time) made $1000 with $50 I gave him in DOGE for shits and giggles by following my buy and sell timings. You know what he did this year? Put it into his Roth IRA.
