Have you transferred, say, Bitcoin into and out of a non-custodial wallet? It’s prohibitively expensive. Prohibitively expensive from a standpoint of per transactional cost with fiat money. Let’s take fees at a a bank for example - mine changes $6.95/mn (that is waived because of a direct deposit from my employer) and that allows me FREE transactions of my money (in/out) as many times as I want in that month. Another example: Schwab has zero commission trades. So why would I trade crypto when Schwab offers free trading (read: protecting my money via not extracting because of minor costs associated with overhead). Crypto transactions and payment systems are equivalent to the EV infrastructure in this country. It kinda exists. Just barely. But can’t compare to the oil industry and gas station market penetration. Even said another way, how about you go fill up your tank in your car with a crypto transaction. It’s as likely to happen as handing the gas station attendant a brick of gold.

I went in pretty large in VARA after doing my homework. I'm the proud owner of 1/1000 of the current circulating supply. Polkadot backed, coinbase backed, which is awesome, not some no-name rug pull. From what I understand from the tokenomic perspective, 411,000,000 is the current supply, and we won't see any major unlocks until September. Increases In circulating supply will be rewards from staking and running a node. What's rewarded also gets burned from the inflation staking pool, so total supply doesn't increase. So realistically speaking, we might see 500-600 million in circulating tokens total until September. If prices stay under .30 cent. If the price gets higher, VARA rewards will be less than the 700k we're currently seeing. When the unlock happens. I was a little unclear about the unlocking after that something about no total sum unlock and certain locked tokens have to be vested even longer. It gets a little more complicated, but I'm not even sure I'll be holding after September's coin unlock. I'll re-evaluate then. Anyways, they just overhauled their website today (looks great). It seems like a project that does just about anything. Also, under $50,000,000 market cap. At 2$, that's 1 billion market cap. Oh, and has yet to break ATHs @ .33 The last part of my breakdown and most bullish aspect for me is coin base giveaway. Coinbase had 56,000,000 users as of last year. This number will likely increase as we reach full-on crypto bull run. So if 20% or only 10,000,000 people claim the $20+ free VARA, that's conservatively 200+ free VARA at the current price. 200 VARA X 10,000,000 people = 2,000,000,000 VARA or about 4.86 TImes the current circulating supply. Seems like a no-brainer since they're could possibly be giving away 4.8 times of what's actually available for purchase. MAYBE EVEN MORE DEPENDING ON HOW MANY CLAIM THE FREE REWARDS. Add on some alt coin pressure, and boom 💥 sends it to 1$, 2$, 3$ +? MY ADVICE CLAIM THE FREE TOKENS AND HOLD. For example, a couple of years back I took some Coursera courses in Cryptography and I was really impressed with the standard. People often assume (as I did), that free implies its not very good, but that is far from the truth.

If you buy crypto with your post-tax income, you will pay tax AGAIN later if you make money from the crypto investment. 401k (pre-taxed contribution) helps you reduce your pre-taxed income, which puts you into the lower tax bracket for lower taxes paid at the end of the year. They have consistently changed their terms with zero days notice. Banks are required to give 30 days, but these guys consistently get away with making a change and then announcing it a few hours later. E.g. when whey decimated the earn product and the credit cards and the supercharger. They consistently post adverts claiming you can earn “up to 10% in the supercharger” when actually that is only a prize given to a small number of investors (99.99% of investors get 0.1%) They dropped the returns BEFORE the market crashed. That’s why CRO dropped from approx $0.50 to $0.15 back in 2021. The market crashed shortly afterwards - most crapto fans seem to get this mixed up. I’d say they are the definition of sketchy. We buy what we want when we want/need it. Technology is always better/cheaper the next year, yet we gotta have the newest thing. The reason they don’t allow delflation is because our whole economy is based on credit/debt, and it would cause the real cost of the debt to explode.So instead we’re gonna inflate the currency away:) to pay it back in cheaper dollars later. Honestly… I forced myself to learn about Bitcoin about 3-1/2 years ago. I started watching YouTube videos and felt safest opening a Swan acct. But then graduated to a Bitcoin Telegram channel and Community. There I learned about Oplan and got help creating my own wallet. I’m so happy I took those steps. Are you speaking to after the halving? I forced myself to learn about Bitcoin in 2020 & opened a Swan acct & did DCA for the most part in small amounts as I’m not rich by any means. Okay boomer... 😒 The traditional ways of saving money don't work as well as people tend to nowadays due just the sheer insanity of inflation. Where you government can decide to print more money arbitrarily, and even worse, charge you more money for using money (ie: taxes). Every dollar you earn is less than what it was previously, and it's only getting worse. Yes, you should pay off debts as fast as you can to free up more of your income to invest down the line. I agree with being debt free in that regard... But in reality, it's far better to learn how to USE debt to acquire assets and then use assets to acquire wealth and new lines of credit. That's what the wealthy do because debt is TAX FREE. Buying crypto is becoming less and less novel as more people are learning about it, studying it and getting involved. Which is AWESOME. There's nothing wrong with stacking some solid coins while you pay off debt. If you can't manage your money well, it doesn't matter if you got $50 in the bank or $500 million. Just sayin.

The spread is too high tbh. For example, on Kraken is $42,600 but on Strike is $43,200. That's +$600 in spread! Doing a small amount under $100 is okish but not $1k+. I followed some tutorials on how to set up a local wallet. Then I found someone with bitcoins on forums. Felt sus but apparently the guy had good reviews so I wired money to a specific account and sent the confirmation to them then they sent me the bitcoins. I did it in 2 phases *to be "safe"*. Then I immediately bought the iPhone and forgot about Bitcoin. I had no idea wtf any of that was aside from a private internet currency. I only found out about it because I strted dabbling in Linux and very quickly discovered the dark web. That was the beginning of my anti-government career. To be fair, Coinbase does not do variable time withdrawals like Strike. The reason the OP has a right to complain is Coinbase only tries to send your BTC on high priority so you can get it in your wallet in \~30 mins. Strike, on the other hand, gives you the option to chose how fast you need the BTC. If you select the 24-hour option it's FREE. 24 hours allows Strike to batch a bunch of other transactions, making it far less expensive for them. Coinbase is a bit of a joke, when it comes to BTC. Their only benefit is they have a large order book.

It democratizes financial education and gives anyone with an internet connection the opportunity to improve their financial lives. You just have to search for it. Subscribing to financial YT channels has made me thousands. I’ve learned how to invest, how to manage my finances, Austrian economics, market cycles, all things my parents didn’t know and never taught me. IMO the best aspect of buying and owning Bitcoin is you are INSTANTLY FREE from banks to the exact extent that you shift your savings. You now hold direct custody of your money. You can send it to anyone you want anywhere without prying surveillance state BS. Yoou are now part of a network that treats all participants equally without fear or favour. The fact that Bitcoin has appreciated relative to fiat is evidence many of us value this monetary sovereignty and freedom. But there are no guarantees- IMO there are real risks -evidenced by the existing degree of obstruction of Bitcoin in most places, ranging from subtle to overt - Bitcoin is not guaranteed to appreciate at the extraordinary rates it has so far. There is risk of further increased obstruction, but IMO it is worth it if you value freedom. Only buy Bitcoin if you value freedom and want some distance from the fiat debt slavery bankers cartel that owns most governments. Because that is all that is guaranteed.

If you have tradingview it might be worth you looking at alt/btc charts and you'll see the swings in price. Just as volatile as btc on its own. You can almost see where money is shifting between alts and btc. Theres room in that to capitalise and accumulate more FREE bitcoin if it works in your favour.

I did that at the last cycle too, after that my bitcoin savings rate MASSIVELY INCREASED due to not having any debt, mortgage, rent etc… it’s like you got a massive proportion. Debt free making $60,000/yr = “Normy” (having rent/mortgage, student loans etc) making $90,000-$100,000. When affirming the “satoshi premium” (average CGAR over the last few years), DEBT FREE bitcoiner on a BITCOIN SAVINGS STANDARD (#GET ON ZERO FIAT STANDARD) making $60,000 fiat is EQUIVALENT TO NORMIE MAKING $120,000 in an average state or about $240,000 in San Francisco, Brooklyn etc… I did the math multiple times and I kept reaching the same conclusion… it’s sounds crazy but you can do the calculations yourself.
