Your first mistake is using CB. CB isn’t lightning enabled which means transactions take longer AND are more expensive. Next time just buy on Cash APP and pay the highest fee for 10 minute arrival. If you’re gonna be cheap with fees don’t complain

It's pretty small. It never seems to be more than 1%, and I'm pretty sure my last depost was bascially at the spot price. As for withdrawal limits, I did get verified recently and can pull up to 20k per week if needed. And CashAPP is a lot different than Celcius. I mean, Jack Dorsey is behind Cash APP and Dorsey is no Mashinsky. But most of my btc is in cold storage, so with what I have on cashapp verus what I have in cold storage, I'll be fine if somehow CashApp blows up like Celcius. I haven't pulled anything out yet this year, and will pull out a percentage of it in June which is when I look to rebalance my portfolio of investment that include... stocks. I know 😔

Yes, for real. There is a simple "ndapp" (Neo Decentralized APP) called "gas-calculator" that shows the current APR based on your votes. For me it is 16.50% This will result around 18% APY. March will be around that because NEO started to go up a little so the GAS/NEO ratio is went up as well from 2 to 2.3. And if this ratio goes up the APY goes down obviously. And I am talking about NEO N3 version of course. (NEO was one of the 1st blockchian to do a seemless blockhain upgrade, half year before ETH in 2021 August.) The beauty is that NEO and GAS usually stay together (pump together and dump together), and this 20% APY can be achieved when their ratio is around 2. My strategy is to buy NEO (preferably low during crypto winter, so not now), and hold and reinvest generated GAS to NEO. And even if I sell NEO for the same price (which can be a safe speculation), I got a good APY reward... Why "selling for the same price is possible in the future" is a safe specualtion? NEO has the proof of time, its an old project, I think that has a bigger value than hypes in new projects, and they never stoped working on it. (In fact their consensus mechanism, which is not PoW or PoS, but dBFT, is the only one that can support MEV resistancy currently). So I doubt this project will be abandoned in the near nd mid future. And as always, this is not, financial advise...

Searching "2024 crypto wallets" should generate enough samples. Essentially, there are cold and hot wallets, and some subcategories. Most secure to least secure are: 1. cold and airgapped, meaning a cable is required to connect to your pc/phone; 2. cold and not airgapped, meaning you can connect by BT or WIFI 3. hot wallet, meaning it is an APP or PC software that you connect to the APP's / SW's site for access, trades, and storage. Trade-offs are security versus accessibility (storage for HODL versus market access for trades/swaps). If you're only wanting to securely store for years, then #1 is your go-to. If you buy #1 or #2, only buy direct from the manufacturer. As to where to store the physical wallet and the recovery details and seed phrase, there are various opinions on that. Finally, a key consideration is your pc and/or phone that you access your crypto with needs security to be as tight as you can get it (NSA-level LOL). Some argue for dedicated tech just for crypto.

I use only Yubico keys for 2FA.. when there is no option for them i pair them with their APP to get the numbers. Works great and encryption is stored on the physical key only. So buy 3 of them for backups and you are safe. Really worth the money i think

I think OP meant, the attacker used his yubikey to lock OP out of his account. OP probably used some App for 2FA, that back ups on the same email he used for binance. With yubikey that would be impossible, since the encryption is stored on the physical key and not their APP

Thank you but I dont think this is the issue. When its due to gas it shows as pending or just not confirmed. This is different, it says its sending. And I made sure to choose the "high" gas option. ​ I got the tx ID but it doesnt exist on etherscan. There was no such thing as "local wallet app address" when people were using usb miner after the invention of first batch of ASIC miners The concept of APP only happens on smartphones, which bitcoin never had until much much later. I assume you are using the term APP incorrectly here, you probably mean a database based application. If you mean an APP runs on a database, it will be centralized, Smart contract will also be on an APP, but it only works on a decentralized network and only the owner of the private key (the person who placed the order) can allow funds to be move to the vendor if the pack is arrived. If it was a database-based application, the database owner would have changed the status to arrived/received, and that's what happened to the OP.

I would suggest you to add Google Authenticator to your other device. That is probably the safest solution. You can delete if afterwads, after testing your apps on your new device. Also, if you have a seed phrase of your wallets, it is on a blockchain and you have nothing to worry about, you can always import it. But if an APP that is like some exchange is asking for 2FA Google authentication, you might wanna do what I told you. I am not sure how can you backup your authenticator by the way. Google was changing that couple of times, so I forgot what are the latest steps.

I used to like strike the best but i switched to River. I dont like the app update/UI and the fact that you can only transfer $5,000 worth a BTC a week scares me a little bit. Also like you said . The prime trust was a close call. River is their own BTC infrastructure and ots bitcoin only. I dont mind the waiting 6-20 days to transfer out after a deposit and purchase. That is just them protecting themselves against fraud. You can send your BTC instantly off the exchange for any amount and APP security is better.

I do this using [pocketbitcoin.com](https://pocketbitcoin.com) . Basically you get a reference for a bitcoin address you provide them and when you send money to their bank account with that reference you get Bitcoin on your address in return. Lets you DCA directly to your hardware wallet. If you want an APP there is the Relai APP, which lets you DCA. It's also a regular wallet app, so you hold the keys.

i like cdc because they get a lot of new certificates/licences etc every month. sadly cdc is nothing for American citizens. The APP has a huuuge spread and i would keep my fingers away from it. The crypto.com EXCHANGE(which is NOT the APP) is quite decent and pretty competitive with other exchanges.

cdc is only expensive if you are using the APP and don't have access to the actual EXCHANGE. (crypto.com/exchange). people are mixing this up and blaming them for having a big spread, while the app is not an exchange.

In Germany I use "Bison APP". It's from Börse Stuttgart. It's regulated by German law. It has just a handful of cryptos but I only buy Bitcoin.

All over there are attacks - Apple trying to remove Damus from APP store, Swan Youtube channel being taken down etc are 2 in the last few days alone. And these are just in the US. Europe seems to be trying to outlaw POW mining on phoney ESG terms. China already banned it (although does seem to be coming back with recent ruling on HK). So firstly, we need to win this fight. We will, of that I am sure. The decentralised nature of bitcoin means it is nigh on impossible to stop. And then there needs to be an even greater collapse of the status quo in the fiat system. Things look bad now, but it will take a lot more pain before most people realise what’s causing all the economic chaos and start to consider a viable alternative. Bitcoin is clearly that alternative, but looking at who’s in charge atm, can you really see them adopting a bitcoin standard? I can’t. So maybe 1 or 2 generations down the line we can look forward to a huge change. Once the children of today are running things, who know nothing but an internet connected world and are open to new ideas. Their children (who I have faith in will be earning, spending and saving in sats) will usher in a golden age of opportunity under a bitcoin standard.

The trend is towards banks being more responsible, not less. The side effect is tighter controls on how we spend our money. In our current system, banks take on some of the risk of our transactions and are deputised to monitor the flows, so they have to manage those risks.

1) You'll have to start contributing towards the sub by making different posts. 2) I see you do not have a vault open, so the first step would be to open a vault. 2.a) to open a vault you'll have to click on your profile picture on the MOBILE APP. Just scroll down a bit and you'll see an option for the vault. Just tap on it and follow the instructions. 3) you'll get moons on the basis of the karma that you earn here and the moons are decided on the basis of a ratio which keeps changes every month.
