Anything RWA really, wherever there is interest / money to make.. One domain many people don't recognise YET, onchain ticketing. Especially when the ticket inventory from event organizers can be put up as bond to raise funds to pre-finance events. I see so much complaining about ticket master on my timeline that I think people will want to see competition there. I also think that this a very old industry that is yet to be disrupted (like Airbnb and Uber renewed the hotel business and taxi business). I don’t think there has been any innovation in ticketing besides the QR code. So cheers to these OPEN guys. Makes more sense than the next “trillions txs per second protocol”.

Very cool project indeed. It recently rebranded to OPEN. Which is a perfectly cool name, as this is what the industry needs: transparency It used to go under the name of GET. Met my cousin two days ago to review some finance with him. He is very conservative on his finance approaches. After couple hours conversation, he said still does not see the value BTC offers. He cant make that connection to its like gold but with more versatility. If BTC is becoming a form of gold, or adopted by companies on balance sheet, or used by countries as currency, or being one of the most successful ETF by arguably one of the largest and dominating funds in the world ... LOL, yeah cant convince him and he is truly a smart guy by other standards. Our meeting was involving trust companies and holding companies and personal corporations and how to distribute wealth ... I just found is so odd that could not even convince him to OPEN a WALLET and let me send him a free 10$ of btc. I been in BTC since 2009 and all this time be telling him. In some cases I feel we just at the point where masses will start to be able to know about BTC and we shed that "its for illegal stuff" We shall see.

That’s not good. What if you forget the encryption password. That’s why I uploaded mine as a regular text file to the shared workspace in Google Drive at my job. They would do this with cabbages if that were the demand. All the fuss about "it's a conspiracy to destroy Bitcoin" sounds more like a conspiracy theory than anything else. First, don't panic or rush. Second, learn about which wallets can be trusted, OPEN SOURCE community supported wallets are the safest. If it's a lot of money, investigate offline signing, but if it isn't, you can do it online with a good amount of safety.

I literally just talked about the supposed “attack vector” on the device itself that you just mentioned. It’s not possible, view the architecture of the device. You can’t just upload malicious updates Willy Nilly, the ledger device goes through a lot of anti tampering and device attestation before the OPEN SOURCE app even releases it. If you honestly think the firmware update is getting through the whole company without company going rogue itself you’re just mistaken and you should prob read how the device itself works. I did, so I’m telling you how it works, if not I can just link it to you and you read through it yourself if you want. The only attack vector introduced is the companies you export your seed phrase to.

Just don't jump in any trade blindly. Identify levels of support (a bottom with a following uptrend) and resistance (the top with following sell-off) on a high time frame like 1D or 4hrs. (Go back months) Look for strong structures in between and that will most likely be your mid-range. Now you have a basic setup. Don't go long at resistances, don't short the support. Wait for a clean break or confirmation of either. Set a stop loss when opening the position. That will be the money you are willing to lose! At best you never really lose money because of the stop losses. Don't trade US-CPI dates or big events. Price is likely to move up and down so quick .... I'm doing it for 2 years. I'm not rich, I'm a noob! I lost a lot of trades but could even them out and you will get to a point where you will make money and don't lose trades. Even if it's just a small amount!

**Wanted to leave my personal opinions out of OP so I'll post them here; An alternate way to look at this:** 1. Coldcard put profits ahead of consumers. Many consumers bought Coldcard because they were open-source; and now they are no longer open-source. If they will switch on such a core tenet, what else will they switch for profits? 2. Coldcard complaining because someone duplicated their FOSS code in a new product is dumb. ITS OPEN SOURCE, isnt that kinda the point. Your code is duplicatable and and is used by others which helps building and vetting upon the code. They didn't forsee this happening? 3. If Coldcard had a meaningful and active bug bounty program, I'd be a lot more comfortable with this. But they don't. Again just my personal opinion... with all the existing wallet options who are actually open-source, this is enough for me to eliminate Coldcard as a hardware wallet option. I understand wanting to remain brand-loyal though, but brand loyalty is not something I consider when it comes to security. Their products do admittedly look really cool though but I no longer consider using wallets that aren't open-source.

The token means that FOUNDERS, WORKERS, USERS, AND INVESTORS ALL PROFIT from increased adoption. When Google increases the number of ads on YouTube, this benefits the shareholders but not the users. When Google fires 10% of their workforce, this benefits shareholders and not workers. When a Blockchain gets 10 million new users, this benefits everyone. Incentives are aligned. Blockchain is DIGITAL. This means AI and robots can interact without needing to deal with lawyers or middlemen. If you are investing in a project that doesn't do these things then it might not be on the Blockchain. If you're gambling on something just for hype you are probably just gambling. If the project has a use case that can bring users naturally then it's probably a real project and can be a long term investment.

Yeah, in terms of tech, some Chinese wallets defeat Ledger. Ngrave Zero is pretty much the most advanced wallet, and it is not Chinese (alongside the Coldcard Q1), but Ngrave is closed source and uses a different standard than BIP44 + they aren't long time in the game. Also, it is expensive AF. The upcoming Tropic Square Trezor (probs end of 2023 or early-mid 2024) will slap any wallet in the market. It will have an OPEN SOURCE secure element (Tropic Square chip), something that no other hardware wallet or smartphone with secure element have.
