From my experience, things that already ran 3000%+ tend to fare kinda badly. Trader JOE ran some 20,000% very quickly, from 2 cents to 5 bucks. Any buyers who came in after 3 bucks got screwed, even when Avalanche kept pumping in the 21 cycle. Those early buyers kept dumping large amounts. Because BONK doesn't have a Blockchain in itself, it's a meme token of SOL. There's no reason why it MUST avoid token outflows.

Not sure about specifically lending BTC but I have been a liquidity provider for pools on a dex called Trader Joe for BTC/AVAX and ETH/AVAX pairs. Been doing it for about a year. Pool APR average over the year has been about 60% and farm APR has been about 20%. Farm APR is paid in an exchange token (JOE) but you can claim and swap if you like. Only downside is impermanent loss which is nearly impossible to avoid unless the price of both pairs move in tandem.

I see JOE is #3 in volume on arb (defillama). Personally, I am always skeptical of volume numbers. Too much incentive to wash trade. (also wth are ZyberSwap and KyberSwap so high??) TVL has a lot of flaws, but it gives a better sense of how much real liquidity is on the platform. Also harder (not impossible) to game as you have to actually deposit tokens It gives the result I expect, GMX, Uni & Camelot on top. JOE is #10.

The coin might have died during the bear market, but all other coins did, it's the teams that keep building throughout the bear market that deserve this and JOE really deserved this IMO. Cex’s like cdc are simply a cash grab from retail. They throw coins on there like JOE or SUSHI that are meant for defi purposes for a retail group that has no idea they’re the exit liquidity. Then you add in counterparty risk by keeping coins on an exchange out of your control with limited regulation. They say it’s 1:1 backed, and maybe it is, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t taking a risk. Imo these cex’s, while maybe good for an entry into buying SHIB, are not promoting use of the blockchain, which is the whole point. People just want to go on cex’s and gamble. I’m a bigger fan of basic on/off ramps with minimal fees where there is nobody holding coins on your behalf. If cdc goes down it might be better in the long run, less people trust cex’s and that’s one less layer of greed and manipulation in the space.

I used to say that there's more risk to have no skin in the game (at all) than to have it! I'd say it's consensual that BTC and ETH won't go anywhere after the bear market! I'd even extend this premise to BSC, DOT and ADA. And could name many more! I have some small caps like QTZ or JOE that bear greater risk indeed, but so is it's potential to outperform larger caps. In the end of the day I believe each one just needs to be informed when making it's choices, so mere than ever: DYOR!
