Uniswap high of $40 last cycle. Same with CAKE. ADA, DOGE, AVAX…so many not even near their all time highs. I know shit about fuck, and I’m guessing many alts never reach their ATH again, but so many big name coins still haven’t taken off. I feel like this alt season is either going to be crap for many coins, or the face-melting gains are still yet to happen. Again, I know nothing. What do you think?

I am in a similar situation, except I invested the most in LTC, ATOM and used to hype CAKE with their stellar APY. I didn't have much spare cash for the past 3 years to add to it so most of my crypto portfolio is from back then. Fortunately I got rid of CAKE when after a year of staking my value didn't go up at all, however I kept holding on others. Despite bitcoin being about the fifth coin that I invested in (volume-wise), it's now my most valuable asset of my crypto portfolio and I'm currently ALMOST at break even lol. People who started investing recently don't understand how I haven't profited more on crypto. I just wish I waited with investing to crypto for a little longer and didn't start buying most of it in the peak...

CAKE is doing fine, they are burning more than printing, when alt season hits it's gonna shine again. HIVE is a web3 coin powers one of the best trading card game Splinterlands, which has its own token on the BSC called SPS, it has a hard cap , gets burned all the time, distribution has been going on for three years and is coming to an end in a year or so.

The price of the token tanked and I didn’t sell so the tokens became worthless. Take CAKE for example I had 20,000 of them which at ath was around 800,000. It’s now 2usd so if I had held till today because the rewards seem good, the same amount would be 40k. Watching that sort of drop is soul destroying. It important to not be too greedy.

Its 2024 now, so getting an entry that's generational on any tokens you mentioned is improbable. Sure CAKE or SUSHI when they first launched, but like I said, generational entries are in tokens that are new and unknown. They still exist, just not ones that millions of people already know exist or have VCs

What's wrong with a high conviction 10x? Let's suppose you start with $10,000.00 You turn it into $100,000.00 with PEPE or something. The cycle is over, you buy puts on RIOT for another 50%. You're at $150,000.00 You get another cycle with Bitcoin at the bottom. You buy some STX, RENDER, KAS, and so on. You can 3-5x easily. You're at $450,000.00 At bull market mania, swap to something like SUSHI, CAKE, etc. That's at least another 10x. You'd be at $4.5million. And so on. There is no reason to need to chase a 1000x cryptocurrency. Having conviction and knowing your entries and exits matter more. Knowing when Bitcoin collapses matter more. Knowing when Bitcoin bottoms matter more. Chasing a 1000x is more likely to make you go bust. And a thousand times zero is still zero.

Generational entries on DeFi, DeXs, and a lot of L1s that didn't run yet still exist. DOT, KSM, ONE, MOVR, etc. haven't run much if at all. SUSHI, CAKE, BAKE, JOE, SSWP, etc, all remain extremely cheap.

KAS has been on a very long boring period. You can make decent money from that. When alt season finally arrives, everything makes good money. CAKE, BAKE, SUSHI, JOE, RAY, SSWP, etc. Every single thing makes good money

Pancake bunny was my favourite. I was farming that using CAKE and getting BUNNY in return. Bunny went from 8 usd to 450 usd when I was in it. The farming returns were 800% too. Amazing times

I think it’s probably worth holding some cash to see. Last time I jumped into CAKE at around 3 usd and sold at 35 which was really over a few months or so.l and by this time my alts that I had been trading for a year had already pumped.

Thanks, but I've tried this before and when I go on there after creating an account, I don't see CAKE as an option anymore for adding funds, and furthermore, it seems to mean that I would have to do multiple conversions. I've also been on pancakeswap before and the minimum conversions are really high if I remember correctly... making it not worth it because it's almost as much as I'm trying to swap in the first place

I painfully waited from 26ish$ to the actual buy of an average of 4.5$ per DOT. I didn't FOMO this time. Staked it until i reached 1k DOT, after that I put the rewards for buying HydraDX. So far the best decision I ever made in a bear market. The idea behind it is what I've learned in the past (since 2017), you have to bet on the narrative and after that invest in the DEX of that narrative. That's why I'm in DOT (I'm betting on the next narrative to be scalability and interoperability aka internet of blockcahin) and HydraDX (biggest exchange on DOT with innovative AMM). More or less what happend to BNB and CAKE if you want to take a reference from last bullrun.

I'm not discussing shitcoins. I'm discussing something like SUSHI or CAKE because it's a decentralised exchange. If anyone wants to buy a crypto not listed on a centralised exchange, they're forced to buy it from a decentralised one. These protocols charge fees, usually 0.3%/transaction. These fees are used to buy itself and to distribute its own tokens at a reward to holders. There are a very limited number of highly popular decentralised exchanges that act like a funnel for the space. It's like betting on Visa or Mastercard when you know the Fed has been giving out stimulus. You're taking the bet that people will use an ecosystem more, not a random ass noname project.

lmao just buy alts instead. Why would you go through the trouble of living on the streets just to buy some bitcoin when you could make far more profit with less than $1000 of alts? Just accept the fact you have missed your train on bitcoin. It’s not gonna give you any ridiculous returns like 50x or 100x anymore. That age is over. Just buy some alts like SUSHI, CAKE, 1INCH, CRV, SOL, DOGE, etc. At least that way you stand a chance to gain at least 10x-20x and even 50-100x if you bought the very bottom. I literally only have bought $200 of alts each like $20-30 in value simply because I live in a country where I could barely make $4k a year and all I have is $200 to invest. There's no rule that you must sell some of your BTC and get into alts. I wouldn't sell any of it. At most, maybe get some WBTC and borrow against it and buy some stuff if you're really dying to. I hope you got out of that CAKE position early. It's still 90% off the highs.

Defi Tokens like CAKE are there to pay "yields" out of creating tokens out of nothing. They are designed to drop and go down in value since the start of them. They suck REAL value out of stakers and pay them useless tokens. Thats the game. Invest in Tokens that do have a. Hype and b. good tokenomics. And not 30% inflation or more.

Raydium isn't going to help you. That is an spl token chain. You want to look into pancake swap. You can provide liquidity for bep20 tokens. Then farm the LP to earn CAKE coins. That is essentially the equivalent.
