I'm reading everyone's comments and they are right that assets make you money and keep you well off. Bitcoin has blown up and I had a very small amount a long time ago. Sold it to pay of debts that would have affected other people not just myself. I was happy to do it. If I had held on to it well it would have been a nice little chuck of change to live off of given Bitcoin at 200k. Still I am not tripping on it because I didn't really have a lot and had to do what I had to do. I also still hold other Crypto and just say to myself well they might blow up into wild houses and make me a nice chunk of change. My main point is how much Bitcoin do you have? If your selling 60% to fund a TWO WEEK international vacation. It sounds like a little chunk of change BUT in reality you don't really have a lot of Bitcoin. ALSO with your situation the real point is "surviving" you have no work and guessing you have bills ... I don't know if your wife works and contributes, but I'll assume she works and helps pay stuff since your not working. In reality you might need that Bitcoin to just survive your (like other have said) not really in the position to spend 60% of all you have. I just wanted to really stay focused to one point lets be a little honest you DON'T HOLD A LOT OF BITCOIN.....some people here are saying you'll be "well off in the future for a hundred trips" and get "rich" well I know Bitcoins value is going way up BUT given the small amount you have its not going to be life ending if with your situation you have to do what you have to do and some Bitcoin gets sold. Bitcoin at $200k is amazing I still think its going to be some time till you see Bitcoin at like $400k....so wait all that time just to double the value of the small amount you hold now. That's my point, some would say its very mute point but I think it still matters ..... wouldn't it be nice if we were talking about you even holding 2 Bitcoins....but obviously we are not. People don't want to take what I just said because they are real believers that Botcoin is going to the moon. Some people in there comments talk like they think Bitcoin will get $600k or way more and your small amount will be worth something. Well I don't think Bitcoin is growing to those levels anytime soon AND ANOTHER HONEST THING you don't know if the whole thing could eat shit faster then you would ever imagine. It could happen for a variety of reasons. Its finance, economics(which might look good being Bitcoin is world economics) and digital(I still say the system could brake or just lose favor). Many things can happen. I don't want to say given your situation and what it takes to day trade successfully without stress or with less stress that its smart to sell 60% or a chunk of what you do have saved to make your wife happy because it might make your life hard or of course make it so you have not much capital to day trade with. BUT it might be worth it to consider taking some of what you have and make your wife happy. Some people said do something of a lower expense and that sounds like a ok decision. Consider doing something OR if you want, in the wild life we live, do the international trip to make your wife happy. Find a deal somewhere to make the costs less on that 60% of your Bitcoin. Maybe somehow bring it down to 30% and plan to work in the future to get that all back. But you do that to give what your wife wants and make the family happy. STILL have a plan to make sure your future can be ok as well. Lastly....I don't think you will ever get rid of that pit in your stomach when day trading as your only livable income. It just sounds like you don't have a lot of Bitcoin or savings so day trading when its tight is always going to keep that pit in your stomach. WISH YOU THE BEST MAN AND HOPE YOU/WIFE ARE HAPPY.

Bitcoin has a 21 million maximum supply For the bitcoin miners to mine all 21 million bitcoins requires 33 cycles of 210,000 ten minute blocks. 2,100,000 minutes = 3.99 years There is a difficulty adjustment every 2016 ten minutes blocks to prevent the process from speeding or slowing down. We have currently completed four of these 210,000 ten minute cycles. Last one was completed during spring time last year. The event is called “the halving” because the inflation rate is cut in half. Bitcoin has survived 4 🇺🇸 presidential election days and has never once returned to the price it was the day before election day. If the price ever drops to like 65K or 66K I would go balls to the walls all in because there’s a chance it might not go any lower. November 2022 when bitcoin was around 16K there was influencers on YouTube telling everyone it was gonna go below 10K but it never did. If it did, it would have gone below the November 2020 election day price that was around 15K. Glad to be of help. I was a noob myself until I saw a post in October of 2017 on /r/all saying 1 Bitcoin = $5,000 for the first time. I was jealous and angry, but curious enough to ask myself "what the fuck do these nerds know that I don't?!". ​ Over the many weeks and months of studying my worldview changed the light bulb went off in my head. ​ You don't ask yourself deep questions like "what is money" until you see your "money" failing you. Food, housing, medicine getting more expensive every year, life getting harder and harder to get through. My unsolicted friendly advise- set up some sort of auto-DCA (I buy $20 worth every day on Swan Bitcoin). Stack your sats, be HAPPY WHEN THE PRICE GOES DOWN. You get the same amazing technology you are becoming to believe in for cheaper, this is amazing. This is hard to do at times, I can tell you myself how hard it has been during the few bear markets I have lived through. I made many mistakes along the way and I could have so many more sats than I do now but we have to learn from those mistakes right? Stack your sats, be very wary of any other "crypto". Most of them are just tech bro startup companies or outright scams. Bitcoin's use case is being censorship resistant money that cannot be debased or stolen from you. Any other crypto "use case" can probably be done in a more efficent manner in a centralized way. None of them are resistant to government level attacks like Bitcoin is. Stack your sats and never ever sell them back for government cuckbucks again if you can avoid it at any cost. Stack your sats, eat healthy, work out and take care of your body. Go outside. Find some hobbies. In 30 years if you do these things you will be living a more prosperous life than you could ever imagine. This is the same advise your gramma gave you. I think you need to reevaluate your post, I too have multiple Rare NFT all of which cost in the range of roughly $2500 some higher some lower. I knew the second I started this thing it most likely was a rug or scam but I was early. For nearly 60 days I was just smooth sailing until the release of the season pass which started ARMAGEDDON. 1.) SEASON PASS IS A SCAM. A.)They make you lock up XCAD every month, but they won’t release it for a year? And then the following month add the same amount of XCAD or you risk not being able to earn every day because of an 18 hour repair window, which did not exist for any of the prior 60 days. B.) Each time in order to repair you now need XCAD not just PLAY to repair, like I said 60 prior days only PLAY but now they force you to buy XCAD which is fairly useless, it’s not like the locked XCAD is being staked to secure a network. 2.) LEGENDARY NFT RELEASE. Approximately 3x the value of a Rare NfT worth roughly $7500 for just one. This made Rare NFT no longer have 6 repair but 5. (For newbies basically instead of every 5th day taking one repair off, now it’s repair every day). What a great way to treat top tier customers! 3.) Your earnings off any NfT are based off two things, Attributes and the relative price of PLAY token. Since opening every video you watch, every time you repair, all these attributes over time grow with experience and then allow you to upgrade a level and for a time the max level was 10. **** If you have made it this far than I am sorry to tell you it only gets worse*** Since Season Pass levels can now be maxed out to level 20, I only have 1 NFT that has a single attribute at 10 and now it’s considered only halfway. The experience you gain is so incremental compared to the amount of levels they added, how long before to 30,40,100? ***They Also added a free claim box each day which ironically the claiming fee plus the transaction fee combined are more than the rewards themselves, tricky devs.*** 4.) AGING NFT. The title says it all, now due to the overall market they deemed it necessary to reduce the rewards QUITE SUBSTANTIALLY. Normal repair took about 25% and the new aging system has taken another 20%. So I’m earning roughly half of what I was of PLAY token was at 0.075 but what happens if that falls in value? You guessed it EVEN LESS REWARDS LOL. TLDR I got in XCAD early swapped token like ETH MATIC FILCOIN AVAX for BNB to then buy my NFTs. As of yesterday I got all my original tokens swapped back, however since I have started the network has continue to implement more ways to take more in fees while reducing your earnings. I warn anyone joining now be careful because unless PLAY token can halt in price everyone’s rewards are truly fucked. Some people spent $8k on a Legendary NFT only to 12 days later have them cut rewards by a quarter. Many like myself will just bleed them dry because we all see what’s going on, and before too long another update will take even more and then I’ll sell them for a ridiculous price and the buyers will be completely clueless not understanding how they might earn $150 a day but end up paying $70 in repair/transaction/claiming fees. However when I owned them originally I was earning $250 a day and only paying like $20 in repair costs, HAPPY HUNTING!

Innocent question(please enlighten me if I'm wrong) but binance on its tweet mentions that they are leaving cuz OSC is making it hard for them to deal with stable coins. However as OP stated maybe the real reason is that binance doesn't wanna be transparent, could be true i guess. HOWEVER I went myself to check the OSC announcement (same link OP posted here) https://www.osc.ca/en/securities-law/instruments-rules-policies/2/21-332/csa-staff-notice-21-332-crypto-asset-trading-platforms-pre-registration-undertakings-changes and if u search "stablecoins" u will find that OSC is also banning exchanges from receiving or selling stable coins to us retailers. So I wonder how are we supposed to buy a coin in a dip if we are not allowed to have stablecoins in our canadian exchanges sitting there ready to use? We need to wait for the bank to transfer my FIAT to the exchange in order to buy the dip (I guess)? What happens if my bank doesn't wanna do etransfers to bitbuy or Newton anymore that means I have to wait for a regular bank wire to be deposited in my exchange account before I can buy the dip? What happens if dip happens on a Saturday, the wire won't hit my exchange account until Tuesday?????? I AM NOT HAPPY that canadian exchanges won't be allowed to hold stable coins anymore, it's gonna slow down our trading terribly.
