Got double skin infections in both knees end of 2021. Almost died of sepsis, GF left me, thought I might lose a leg. Permanent nerve damage / pain that has slowly... slowly... got better 3 years later. Market crashed with everything 3-4 months after that. Im in the exact situation right now, be mortage free and sell all of my btc or keep it and hodl to new ATHs? I will take the middle route, sell some and put it into stones (my new house) and keep another half into btc to maybe get to new highs. My opinion is that we need to appriciate the wins we have and take some profit. For me the profit will be putting it into a house and maybe buy my GF some nice things, just enjoy it instead of thinking of what btc might become. Enjoy it!

Sometimes guys need a shoulder/reality check. I've been clear to my GF about what I'm doing, and at times she doesn't understand fully. That is OK. She understands when I ask, 'what would it feel like to have f-you level of money and could semi retire whenever you want?'. If you want him to focus less on the BTC stuff, and that sounds healthy, then ask him. Set up automatic withdrawals into whatever he wants to buy and re-evaluate on a schedule. I get that there is a TON of information out there and sorting through it takes time. IE Meme coins are interesting to most, but there is a lack of knowledge in the newer user base. They get played all the time, that is crypto.

Even before bitcoin, benign secrets give you power. Years ago told my GF, she couldn't keep her mouth shut bless her heart and it opened up alot of holes in my opsec. I needed to fly overseas for a couple years to shake off sewer rats that followed me maybe to see when I would be out of range on cctv. TLDR don't tell others about your bitcoin unless you want your chance of kidnap to rise exponentially. A peanut to you might be worth a life changing risk to others.
