So some dude who occasionally talks to the VP of Brazil said something about Bitcoin. And this is big news why?

Mentions:#VP

Under Obama Joe Biden was the VP and he was responsible for executing the USDS (renamed DOGE under Trump). He had from 2014 through 2016 to start removing the wasteful spending and fraud! As the President Joe Biden had 4 years! But somehow our government is riddled with corruption and fraud and I wonder how much Bitcoin plays into that corruption?! Just because the price went up doesn’t mean it was a good thing!

Be your own bank. Forward this to the VP of your fraud department. Why are you even complaining?

He’ll be taken out at some point. The real mission was to get Vance in there as VP, so he can become President when they take Trump out. It’ll be even more scary then

Mentions:#VP

Stockpreacher knows best, so Vance is infact a loser by his standards. He would only be a winner if he was taking advantage of the american people in some ungodly corrupt way to make himself millions of dollars. guys the biggest winner here, never seen a bigger winner. Some say theres no bigger way to win than to becoming the VP of the united states, without being in it for the soul intention of capitalizing on corruption.

Mentions:#VP

I don't have any crypto at the moment. I trade it (short and long) sometimes. He's the VP of the United States of America with one of the most corrupt systems in place ever. And his move to get rich is to buy QQQ? It's loser shit.

Mentions:#VP

Well, Yes and no? I watched the whole breakdown of what they could have done in 2020 with the rejection of the certification of the votes. And the conclusion was, that the senate would have the power to elect the VP, and the House the President (not by votes, but by states. So each deligation per state would only get 1 vote)

Did you watch his announcement today? It is pretty clear it is not just "brinksmanship". The very fact he chose Vance as his VP should wake you up from this hallucination. It is about reshoring efforts. All those who think tariffs would do just once-off increase in inflation are living in lalaland if the end goal is reshoring.

There is literally no story. Biden dedicated his life to civil service.. he never had a nickel to rub together until after he was VP. Haha you don’t need proof he’s corrupt you just think he is with no proof it must be a trust me bro situation. Do you hear what you’re saying? Nope you don’t because you’ve lost all common sense due to your TDS.  You believe what ever you make up with no proof. You don’t even try to seek truth you just believe what people say with no proof and take their word or you just make it up in your head and believe what makes you feel better to support your made up narrative.   We know Biden was corrupt as there was plenty of evidence on Hunter Biden’s laptop along with a number of Hunters’s business associates that talked to investigators about Joe’s role the family corruption. They sold access to Joe Biden via Hunter taking money from Ukraine and China. Joe is even on tape saying that he threatened to pull $1 Billion of US funding to Ukraine unless they fired the prosecutor that was looking into Burisma the company that Hunter Biden sat on the Board of Directors.  Joe was the VP at the time and had no authority to pull the funding from Ukraine as that was earmarked from congress.  Also that was the American tax payers money that he was using to influence a foreign government to look the other way while he was profiting from corruption.

Neither Gold or silver have intrinsic value in this sense, but the prices are somewhat tethered to reality because they have some value as an industrial commodity. My educated guess is that the speculative value of these commodities is a rather large portion of the price. I don't see how crypto as an investment is tethered to anything other than speculation. It may be, but I have not read anything that would explain it. I have seen many people try, but they either have no idea what they are talking about, are to emotionally attached to crypto as an investment, offer confused unfocused explanations, or quickly change the subject. Some are just used car salesmen. Moreover, gold has a track record. When I was studying economics in college gold was not traded, and the price was set by the government at $35 an ounce. Around the time I was in grad school the price restriction was removed and it was traded. Since that time there has been a history of value growth which has been fairly stable. My wife was the VP of a small precious metals firm in the early 80's. I have owned some actual gold and silver since that time. Over the past ten years I have purchased gold ETF's. Over the past 8 -10 years the growth of the gold ETF's is about 8% per year. I use it as a hedge, and was surprised by the growth in value. Bottom line is that investing is hard, but it is much easier and safer than trading. That is true whether it involves stocks, bonds, commodities, or crypto. If you are going to own crypto it should be a small part of a balanced portfolio. Then again, what do I know, other than I have made many mistakes in the past, am currently making mistakes, and will continue to do so in the future. It seems to me many people involved in crypto believe that they don't suffer from that same problem. I wish them luck.

Yeah, that's how altright populists win. With fear and getting people to vote against their self interests. Also, the democratic party fucked up bigtime. I don't want to say it was rigged from the inside, but cmon. Joe biden said he was only going to serve one term as a transition president, AND THEN HE STILL RAN AGAIN. When he stepped down, they UNDEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED KAMALA HARRIS, ond of the most unpopular VP's in history. It's like a fully grown man racing against a baby but before starting the race he shoots both of his feet and shatters a femur.

Nah like 2028ish we started building them when Biden added to Trumps and put more tariffs in place. Automotive, semiconductor, manufacturing facilities. Nissan and Toyota have factories being built. Intel, Micron, and TSMC all having fabs being built. Samsung has an electronics manufacturing facility. I’m a VP at a semiconductor company and this was the major reasons we’ve built 3 new fabs in the US in the past 4 years.

Right? Lol Best we can do, 12yrs. That's how long it'll take the new dnc VP's balls to drop

If the Congress passes a bill to create the SBR Trump will sign it. The situation is completely different than the previous administration.

I know it’s directly related to a policy Regan made. I forgot which it was but that policy resulted in the immediate flip the following years. Now as for the flip back thats definitely a combination of the government and business. I own a few small businesses and one thing I can say is cities keep increasing property taxes on commercial real estate which force the owners to hike rents which directly translates into cost of goods, also they keep hiking taxes on businesses profits. Also, I’m a VP at a semiconductor company every time we get corporate tax increases the business decision is do layoffs to keep profits stable. So it’s interesting because small businesses only have the ability to translate tax increases into the cost of goods. Whereas big companies try to keep goods cheap to remain competitive but translate tax increases into work force reductions. In my opinion the path we’re heading down is local municipalities and state governments will be taxing small businesses so much they won’t be able to sustain anymore. Corporations will want to keep prices low to stay competitive so they will have incredibly small work forces with AI and automation doing everything. Everyone else will be unemployed on enough government assistance to sustain life but nothing more. It’s kind of like NYC.

Keeping a few facts in mind: * Biden-Harris lead operation Chokepoint, effectively banning banks from doing business with crypto companies. * Biden-Harris' SEC chief lead a series of lawsuits against the industry. * Democrats actively lead initiatives to destroy the industry, many lead by Warren. * Trump's entire family owns crypto. * Trump's VP owns crypto. * All the independents Trump has surrounded himself with either own crypto and or are pro-crypto. how would you judge the Biden-Harris admin, vs the upcoming Trump admin?

Dude, Trump fired practically every member of his cabinet last time around. Sometimes fired multiple people in the same position. The same argument was made before 2016. “He’ll hire the best people!” Well a fuck ton of those people he hired signed a letter together saying he shouldn’t be let anywhere near the White House ever again. Trump chose such a great VP the first time around. But why does he have a different one this time? Oh yeah, he asked the last one to overturn the election in 2020. And when he refused, his supporters had gallows waiting for him on the lawn of the Capitol. Of course every leader is visiting with Trump, he is the president-elect. Have you never heard of a lame duck president?… If he ran the country so well, why did he lose as the incumbent in 2020? He got beat by Sleepy Joe! How embarrassing.

I have plenty of sources to back my claim up. I'm not making these claims wildly by any means. So there's a lot you have to factor. It's not just investing money that's going to be flowing in. It's tokenized assets. The tokenized asset market is 100s of trillions. We also have to factor in the money that will flow into the ecosystems from actual utilization not just investments. All of traditional finance is on track to being tokenizrd and gain access to the entire blockchain space in a 6 month to a year time frame. This is an estimated time frame given by some of the top worlds financial execs. Like VP for Franklin Templeton. The world's wealth of money and assets is all coming on chain and we've never been closer than we are right now ✌️ That's why so many in the space and so many projects are estimating that this cycle is very different.

But either way that's certainly a world better than the other side which has been largely opposed to crypto. In regards to other topics, we're speaking specifically about crypto, and Trump is world's apart from Kamala on that issue. People are disingenuous when they attempt to try and say otherwise. Trump has spoken at Bitcoin conferences, mentioned several times he'd fire Gary Gensler and other anti-crypto bureaucrats leading federal agencies, opposes the formation of a CBDC, vocally supported several US bills to appropriately regulate crypto and digital assets without killing the industry. He personally owns crypto via his NFT sales, and his VP owns Bitcoin and other assets directly.

> I mean, his son has several crypto wallets, and his VP owns crypto. That means exactly … *nothing*. Anyone who’s got a bit of spare money and isn’t a million years old will have “several crypto wallets”. Because dabbling a little here and a little there is what people with free cash do. The moment you get your fingers into any “utility” project, you almost automatically have to have three wallets: the wallet for the native token, some kind of MetaMask or similar to swap it into something useable, and a CEX wallet to cash out. And if you look behind the scenes of their stupid little “freedom-coin-whatever” project, you will quickly discover that crypto is just another space where the Trump slimebags are trying to grift. 75% reserved for the family, and once you buy it, you can’t sell it. 🤦‍♂️ Trump would be so busy playing golf again as president, and attending court dates, he wouldn’t get around to doing shit about crypto.

>I am tired of this fake narrative that a Trump presidency will be better for Crypto. Trump's son has several crypto wallets, and his VP owns crypto. He has also aligned himself with independents who are pro-crypto. He is surrounded by people who are pro-crypto. So I'd argue that a Trump win is 500% more bullish for crypto than a Kamala win, whose administration worked tireleslly to destroy the industry, and has now surrounded herself with the traditional establishment (from neocons, to establishment Republicans, and bank CEOs). A vote for Kamala is a vote against crypto. And if that's your choice, fine. But don't gaslight yourself and others into believing that both candidates are equally bad for the industry. Based on the facts we know today, one candidate is objectively better for crypto.

She’s the VP. That’s why she’s running. I think she’s going to do great things for the middle class. They will pump our bags. Trump will do more of the same. Tax cuts for businesses so they can get more profits, and tax cuts that favor the wealthy so they can get richer. Been there and Trump didn’t help normal people. So I’m down to give a woman a try. These old rich dudes keep Messing things up.

That’s cute, but you’re awful at this. My first Bitcoin was purchased for $8, meaning this is my thirteenth year in crypto, and I also happen to work in the industry. Trump’s administration was not friendly to crypto, but none of the hints the discussions that took place under their watch did not have anywhere near the same chilling effect on the domestic industry as Gensler’s reckless comments. Not only did he imply most anything aside from Bitcoin was a security, his comments caused many companies to channel their productivity beyond our borders. I don’t trust Trump, but I do trust he will look out for his own interests, so it does reassure me that he’s dabbled in his own NFT and shitcoin grift. The fact that he has powerful non-partisan support from crypto advocates like RFK, and sensible foreign policy advocates like Tulsi Gabbard, is all the more reason to be bullish on Trump’s return to office. I understand this isn’t a common sentiment on Reddit because it isn’t a compliment, but Harris is backed by the same people who propped up a senile puppet to be the public face of their hidden hands these past four years. It’s not too early to tell she’s just another vehicle for her sponsors, and this is apparent given all the same pundits and platforms (and military industrial complex establishment representatives like Bolton and Cheney) support Harris just like they did Biden. In the same way Joe hasn’t been running the country, neither would she, but she’d most definitely keep the same illusion going. That’s if she were to be elected, which she won’t be because the majority of average Americans do not appreciate where the country has been going, and that’s especially obvious if we look to the one avenue where VP Harris allegedly had responsibility, which was acting as the Border Czar. She presided over the greatest influx of illegal immigrants (>10 million) in our nation’s history. This spectacular achievement proves she’s either extremely incompetent or malicious. Either way, her status as a female minority, which qualified her to be selected as the VP in the first, something Biden explicitly stated they were looking for (as opposed to merit), will not be enough to propel her into the highest office in the land, which is good for crypto and good for America.

as much as i hate the guy and wish it were true. Based on literally everything else he's said and done - my guess is he's just trying to sound cool and mysterious. And that he's some crazy rebel that the government hates. In reality he's completely in bed with the red and the blue. Considering the Dems are in power now and Harris is VP, why on earth would they wait until January to do something they could apparently do now? literally makes no sense. no doubt he's committed plenty of financial crimes and should be in jail, he's far too rich to be held accountable.

Then vote for idiot Trump. I don’t care. He’s going to lose and probably face jail time. There’s a reason why nearly everyone that was part of his administration won’t support him. Including his VP Pence. But do you playa. Us level headed people that aren’t in a cult ail save you from yourself. Be well.

Right!? Thats the whole point of crypto. Bitcoin in particular. But i will say trump has both rfk and musk alongside him. Whether trump “believes in crypto” or not he has a team that has clearly shown true interest and care into the sector. On the other hand in her 4 years in office as VP, harris has done very little for the sector even with shit like FTX and other major breakage, regulations and consumer protections still seem to be lacking. With trump and his advisors, the sector can have its proper protections to become even more mainstream and instead of reaching a 3T market cap the sector can 10x that. Unfortunately, all of this is also counterintuitive as bitcoin was meant to bring us freedom, and I’m here complaining that I want the government to create more protections.

Don't know what promises she made they could've been easily pushed. I mean if it was possible for a vice president to push their own goals in mind, they still need to get through Congress when it is difficult with not only Republicans, but some conservative Dems. >the CBS edited with AI interview Ai thing is new, the only complaint I heard tossed around is the editing.

Trumps heart will probably explode from all the hamburders he eats before 2028 so if you’re a right winger I’d vote based on the VP rather than on Trump. What will people like you do once trump is gone? You’re going to be left with nothing but a power vacuum lol. Good luck.

Clearly you must not be from around here (America) because in America everyone knows the VP's job is to do whatever the President says. Nice try tho. She's said she'll be pro crypto - and unlike Trump she's neither a career criminal nor a liar. When Trump says he's pro-crypto it's a toss up if he even knows wtf that means, when she says it that means she's good for it and it'll get done. If you believe in crypto, vote for Harris, she'll onboard the whole fucking world.

Usually in banks, the ranking is: • Intern • Analyst • Associate / Senior Associate • VP / SVP • Director • Managing Director • Partner

VP title in large scale banks is a low to mid level title. You have no joke about 40 more titles between a VP and the C-suite.  There are about 4-6 levels of VP alone, and 4-6 levels of every title below and above VP.  Same is true in big tech where I work. I’m a UX designer level 4, which is equivalent to a Lead UX designer. The next step up is Director, there are 4 levels of that, then VP, which has 4 levels, then SVP which has 4 levels etc… As a UX lvl 4 I make about $175k in salary after my bonus, and total comp with full benefits is probably around $240k yearly. Which includes share packages and 401k matching etc…

Yeah my wife was a VP in a big bank, it’s basically a mid level title.  She was a project manager and grossed about $100k a year. So nothing impressive.  A VP software engineer at most institutional banks probably makes in the $150-250k range.

as someone else said. I know VP at banks making $150k/year. VP at bank is a title used very loosely. The timing with the heist is quite suspicious. I guess it will be extremely easy for the FBI to clear that out.
