I don't have any desire to be a CEO. I'm on a good track to upper management, like director, maybe VP level, and currently make low six figures. I'm plenty comfortable in my career. And my partner does well too, putting us around top 5% for income. So we're good I do acknowledge that CEOs generally do work hard, long hours, under stressful conditions. Where I take issue is that I certainly don't think they deserve to be making multimillions while the poor and middle classes are continuously squeezed more and more. I do enjoy the casual nepotism drop in there.

If you don’t already have a 401k, Roth IRA, or another type of retirement account please focus on those and in funding those with index funds that follow the stock market overall. Bitcoin is a very risky asset and you can absolutely buy some, but should only be doing so when your financial situation is already in good hands. Do not listen blindly to a subreddit called r/bitcoin that says to buy more bitcoin. Buy some in moderation if you wish, but learn how to invest properly and how compound interest works before you do anything else. Please, financial literacy is so important. Why do you assume I want to remove him from the ballot?  That goes against one of the main premises of democracy.  And sorry, I didn’t realize attempting to delay/negate an election requires killing as well. How do you feel about him attempting to coerce people into delaying the certification? How do you feel about him attempt to coerce people into falsely reporting vote counts? How do you feel about him four years later still denying the results with lies to undermine faith and trust in the system, so he can set up his next attempt? A coup is an illegal attempt to seize control of a government, that’s exactly what happened. I’ll gladly send you the physical evidence of trumps planning weeks and months in advance to attempt to delay and negate the election results if that will have any scrap of effect on your opinions.  Also for what it’s worth, there was violence and deaths on Jan 6. If congressmen and the VP would have hung around, you really think the insurrectionists were going to just go shake their hands and has how their day was? The same people chanting to kill Pelosi and Pence? Yeah it sounds dramatic, but when it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, and looks like a duck. Shit man, it’s probably a fucking duck. Trump has shown you, told you to your face, and taken actions that prove to you he doesn’t care about elections and will attempt to ignore them. Why do you not believe him?

Any volatility there would reflect poorly on the FInance department and a lot of people would get fired. Board might even fire the CEO for mismanagement.  We are far from institutional adoption except for very forward thinking, well capitalized orgs that arent too risk adverse. It will be individual investors, hedge funds, family offices this cycle.  When CFOs and Board members see how well BTC does in their personal portfolios, they'll consider it for corporate balance sheets.

I work with a corporation that feels comfortable buying the ETF's but which wouldn't feel comfortable holding large amounts in Ether. I look at it this way: The costs of investing in the ETF (fees, perhaps higher taxes) may be lower than the cost of providing true security for actual Ether. How many corporate VP's would you look at and think, "This guy knows how to Ledger." Also, moving in and out from fiat in a corporate account to an exchange, then eventually back again, has its own cost.

I'm a Canadian Bitcoiner working for a Fortune 300 US company. I typically dont mix personal with business, but on the ETF launch I thought to have a little fun on Teams meetings. Most of my meetings are with US folks, and jokingly I asked at the beginning of each meeting: 'So, did everyone get their Bitcoin ETF orders in this morning, and who did you decide to use?' I was somewhat shocked at the responses over multiple meetings in the day. Most middle managers and admin types said no, or were hesitant (about a dozen people). The surprise was senior leadership (Senior Directors, VP and above). Not only did a majority own Bitcoin, they were hard core self custodians! I had one call with three senior leaders that joined about 30 seconds apart, their responses were almost identical: Leader 1 - My Bitcoin is in a cold wallet, not your keys, not your coin Leader 2 - No Im not buying ETF, I hold Bitcoin in cold storage Leader 3 - Not your keys, not your coin. I own Bitcoin but havent placed an etf order today Each of these people did not hear the response of the person prior due to the timing of their joining. 5/8 senior leaders I polled that day owned Bitcoin and none planned ETF. This surprised me because I thought most that owned Bitcoin would also consider ETF for tax sheltered purposes (I certainly do). The company I work for is somewhat conservative, not tech industry, and the leaders were between 40 to 55 by my guess. Obviously an anecdotal sample but was impactful to me nonetheless.

I'm curious too. I'm not sure about Bitcoin, but I worked for a large US defense contractor that utilized JPMorgan Chase physical custody services for a set of sensitive data that was managed in what I can imagine would be a similar way. The access procedures were designed by a financial services firm that specialized in doing things in ways our insurers and government customer would sign off on. Adapted for Bitcoin, my best guess is it would look like this: a tiered series of cold > hot (segmented) > hot (edge) wallets would be used in the following way. The business would use a combination of physically and cryptographically secure means to guard the seeds for cold wallets. Transactions from cold wallets would be limited and happen entirely offline in a physical vault (guarded, time locked) using a transaction signing process similar to hardware wallets, and requiring inputs (passphrase + rolling code) from one or more individuals like a relevant VP, CFO, partner law firm or insurer. Funds from cold would move to a series of hot (segmented) that could float whatever is needed and then some buffer for day to day business, minimizing or basically removing the need to ever access the cold wallets except in cases of extreme market activity. From here on out, transactions are controlled by software that goes through the normal software development lifecycle (dev, test, review, etc.), before going through a physically secure deployment process to a secured test environment, where they sit for an enforced bake time, and are then promoted to a secured production environment. Every transaction from hot (segmented) to hot (edge) is reviewed by a human. Hot (segmented) tier wallets can fund only predefined hot (edge) wallets and would only be less secure in that the transaction signing happens on a firewalled and physically segregated network in a guarded datacenter. Hot (edge) wallets would only ever carry relatively insignificant sums and would still be segregated by network firewalls and secure interfaces but are capable of signing transactions directly to user wallets. Transactions in the other direction (hot -> cold) would employ many of the same procedures in reverse, adapted to the source of the funds. You'd have to solve some creative problems going this direction to ensure you were actually sending to *your* cold and not a bad actors. Our procedures for this don't really translate to Bitcoin.

Assuming you are talking about transactional privacy then: from a pure cryptography perspective zCash (and soon Namada, Penumbra, Aztec etc) are the most private. This, as a UTXO ZKp system reveals basically no information for shielded-shielded transfers. Problem being that the transactions surrounding that are public and in partial privacy systems like zCash that can be quite problematic. Namada and Penumbra both will make big leaps on the zCash model (multi asset shielded pool and one can bridge into the shielded pool directly from Eth/IBC) but their mainnet has not happened yet. So in general for TX privacy one can (for now) probably best use Monero, either directly or through integrated APIs like HoudiniSwap. As for Computational privacy however, there are a lot more constraints and trade-offs. The only true live projects in this sphere right now are Oasis and Secret who both have their own strenghts and uttilize TEEs (hardware based security). Oasis has a more permissioned system protecting SGX by obscurity while Secret is looking at adding MPC primitives to scale the trust assumptions from 1/all nodes need to break to 66.7% of VP. Upcoming systems like Aleo and Aztec are also adding computational usecases but they are forced to use shared public state or limit it to usecases/proof systems with only a single party - One can not prove comparisons on data without seeing the input from all parties. Maybe with FHE (like Fhenix.io) or provable HME we get further to a non-hardware based turing complete privacy suite but for now thats at minimum a few years out and/or 10-100x slower.

You would be better off investing it into Gold or Bulk Silver. They will always be there...Bitcoin or Digital Currency is not a tangible asset. It is only as good as there is still electricity and Internet. One Solar flare strong enough can wipe out your investment. I listened to the owners of an International Company as to what they invest in. They said number one is Precious Metals 2nd is Art 3rd is real estate. The problem with real estate is continual taxation. ( The problem I am currently facing with my home...I had it built 20 years ago and placed 100k down on it. This year the property tax quadrupled. And yes it is true, everyone in the neighborhood is also being hammered!) I invested in Gold and Silver back when it was very affordable. Oh BTW you can forget about ever getting your Social Security when you retire. The Government has been siphoning it off and it is on the verge of insolvency. Also, you may wish to take another look at the Dodd-Frank Act (second page fine print) This was passed into Legislation by then VP Biden under Obama. This allows the Government to seize any and all your assets, your savings, checking, IRA, 401k and safety deposit box whenever the Government wishes under any claim. Now that Biden became President he has been field testing this seizing assets of Banks. I was warned of it by a friend who worked at my bank. I had never heard of it....he said take everything out ASAP and he would explain later. I did that very day. A few days later the IRS came in a seized ALL THE ASSETS at that branch. No, the bank did nothing illegal. It was a Capitol One Bank in Fort Worth.....also it was not even mentioned in the news either. The sign at the bank told the depositor to call the phone number listed, bring an attorney and proof that all your income was earned legally. Huh? To this day, no one has been able to get in to an appointment....so they started a lawsuit against the Government. GOOD LUCK This has been going on in isolated areas all over the USA and THE MAINSTREAM NEWS IS NOT REPORTING IT. What do you think the hiring of 87,000 ARMED IRS AGENTS ARE FOR??? A simple audit???? No, the Government is about to start seizing assets. Also a friend of mine who is a famous actor informed me it happened at his bank in Beverly Hills.....they have a lawsuit going also. Now I got a call just a few months ago by the Bank that my house mortgage is at....they contacted me asking if it was possible for me to pay off my mortgage. Now I am puzzled and asked why. They then said they are not at liberty to discuss the reasons why...so I poked and asked if it had to do with the Dodd-Frank Act and they replied yes. Don't even think this is some conspiracy BS. All of you people are going to give smart remarks claiming this is rubbish. Well go ahead and do a deep dive and look for yourself. You cant use Google search. You have to use a search engine not controlled to block your searches or divert you to nonsense pages. Also under Obama was the Medicaid/Medicare Recovery Act passed too....this is anyone who has ever been on short term disability and received aid. The IRS will notify you that they made a mistake in how much they gave you in support and hit you with a huge TAX bill. THIS IT TRUE because this was aired on 60 Minutes last month. Also, did any of you notice Nikki Hailey telling the public that Social Security is broke? She said that Biden has signed into a secret legislation to raise the age of retirement to age 70 but no one under 65 currently will ever see their retirement even though it will be auto withdrawn from your paycheck for the rest of your life...but will NEVER SEE IT when you reach retirement. I am over 68 and have already been declined to receive my retirement....not some medical disability issue either. I have paid in for 55 years and now I am denied it and was told to apply at age 70. You see, the Government is not telling the public what is really going on....they are stalling, diverting your attention to tons of BS I warned people WHY the border is open and all these illegals are getting YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY. I also warned you people that Biden has publicly announced that the Ukrainian people will be getting their pension from the USA. That was on the news! That is our Social Security money......so why would this Administration be Intentionally be driving this welfare system into a faster insolvency? Think about it for awhile......remember the Dodd-Frank Act that will justify seizing everyone's assets? You can go ahead and mock me, so many have already after I warned people of some rapid changes coming.....those issues came true. Sure do not see anyone apologizing for poo pooing me when the warnings came true!

So.. wife and I have been together for almost 20 years. Kids, house, the whole thing and we’ve always shared a bank account and never had our own money. We also started our relationship with a combined bank account of like 5 grand. But.. last year I helped sell my 2nd business. I was a VP and made a nice bit of extra spending money. We moved into our forever house and she went all out, and renovated and built her dream kitchen.. But.. I lied, or at least I with held the truth, and I kept about a third of the acquisition money quiet, and I put it ALL in bitcoin, over the last year. I had some before, less than a full BTC, but now I’ve got a nice little stack. Honestly I don’t even know what to do at this point, but I know she’s very risk adverse and doesn’t even understand interest rates much less how the global economy works. I keep it quiet, as our life is wonderful and if she found out she’d make me sell it. No one in my entire family know I’m doing this. It’s my guilty pleasure. I love that I have my bitcoin…..

They think XRP an antithetical to crypto because Ripple has been seeking to change our financial system from the inside. So they think it's a bankers coin. When in reality not BTC and especially ETH have been effectively co-opted by the bank cartel. ETH is literally a creation of JPMorgan and GoldmanSachs employees. We have proof in federal discovery that ETH founders colluded with the SEC. Both the former SEC Chairman Jay Clayton's wife was VP of GoldmanSachs for 17 years. Gensler was the youngest partner ever at GoldmanSachs. Joe Lubin the CEO of ETH Switzerland that distributed the ico proceeds was VP of technology in wealth management at GoldmanSachs. Sullivan and Cromwell the law firm where Jay Clayton is managing partner represents Joe Lubin's Consensys. The irony of smooth brains in this sub calling XRP a bankers coin while fallateing each other over ETH. When we have proof EEA tried to destroy the entire market to build a monopoly for Ethereum. It disgusting.

The lawsuit is political. The reason being GoldmanSachs and JPMorgan don't want Ripplenet ODL service operational in the US. For fucks sake Jay Clayton's wife was VP at GoldmanSachs for 17 years. Multisigs, federated setups, theres many ways it can be done. For example All BTC salary outflows must be signed by a VP, head of HR and head of security. In a smaller company maybe just CEO and payroll person. BTC would not all be in one wallet, it’d be like a hot cold wallet system exchanges use. Long term capital is in deep cold storage and operating capital would be more accessible but still layers of redundancy.

Two reasons, first if they were apart of previous bull runs, they probably already cashed out and bought lambos and houses at this point. Second, most smart tech people already have a lot of money. Any friends I know that have VP Google jobs or hustling 5 coding jobs at once are already making $500-900k plus bonuses. And those smart people are the only ones that get bitcoin. Here is the announcement from AWS: [https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/database/aws-expands-amazon-managed-blockchain-with-access-and-query/](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/database/aws-expands-amazon-managed-blockchain-with-access-and-query/) And here are cited example use cases of this new feature "AMB Access and Query": >Use cases As foundational components, AMB Access and Query can help developers with every public blockchain use case. The following are two examples: Custodians and wallets – These applications can be considered the Web3 equivalent of traditional banking applications. Users of these applications expect similar experiences to their traditional banking applications, such as having their current and historical balances as well as transactions available at their fingertips. Regardless of whether they are centralized and operated by licensed operators or decentralized and self-managed by individual consumers, these applications serve the same basic purposes to store and transfer cryptocurrencies. While developers would still have to manage their own security to store cryptocurrencies, developers can have their applications interact with the blockchain RPCs through AMB Access so to transfer cryptocurrencies and read data from the blockchain quickly with AMB Query to display in the application. Consumer engagement – The use of NFTs as a way to connect and increase engagement with consumers by enterprises such as Nike and Starbucks continues to grow. These NFTs serve as gating tokens that unlock exclusive benefits for the holders (such as access to real-world events), which can be used to incentivize specific actions (such as purchasing physical goods), and increase collaboration across brands (such as unlocking in-game digital goods from a popular brand). To enable these actions, applications must create, manage, and transfer NFTs using the RPCs on AMB Access, as well as quickly check ownership information with AMB Query. For example, to unlock an exclusive NFT for high-value customers, an application may need to check user wallets for ownership of an existing NFT issued on Ethereum and have holdings of greater than 1 BTC on Bitcoin. “Amazon Managed Blockchain Access and Query provide friction-free access to blockchain networks and their data so developers can easily create their Web3 applications,” said Saman Michael Far, VP of Financial Services Technology, AWS. “I expect this easy to incorporate functionality will enable new mainstream applications ranging from interacting with digital assets to creating new ways of engagement consumers and their brands.” Is it groundbreaking? Not sure on that one.
