I don't know if it's for regulatory reasons, a vetting process, or they just don't like the volatility of new or low cap cryptos. They can be very high risk, especially if using leverage. I prefer Phemex. It's user friendly, they have a mock trading platform that's great to practice trades without using real money, and unlike many other exchanges, you can use it as a US citizen. I think their PT token will do well in the next couple of years. But if there's specific crypto's you want, you have to see what exchanges it's on. I like one called Vaiot (VAI). It's not available on Phemex but it is on Bingx or I could buy it from a place like Uniswap but that has high gas fees and it's more difficult to get fiat money in. If there's a crypto you want to buy, you can look it up on Coin gecko and it will show where it's listed.

For context I put in 20 ETH at the end on Jan so the numbers aren't the same today. Not everyone can risk 20 ETH and at the time I shouldn't have, but you can math it from my numbers to yours. Etherfi gave me an airdrop of 1140 ETHFI ($5300 today) for season 1. I expect Season 2 to be 20% of that but just guessing. Etherfi still gives me \~3% for restaking and soon EigenLayer restaking will be added to that. On Pendle I split between PT-eETH for fixed yield and it matures June 29 for +1.2 ETH or so but no Etherfi points. The other half went into the LP and I got about 0.7 ETH from that so far plus about 20 PENDLE tokens but also 2x Etherfi points. Both Pendle options were about 30% APR when I got it but the LP is around 11% now. Again, the PT-eETH was fixed rate no points. LP double points but the rate is lower today. Altogether maybe 2 ETH in 5 months and $5300 in airdrop. . Swell L2 is still unknown but I keep generating all my previous yields and they claim to airdrop 1% supply for every project that launches on the L2 and there's 5 or 6 projects so far. Before that I had it all sitting in LIDO stETH. Compared to LIDO it's been really good. Ship might have sailed on Etherfi airdrop fantasies but Pendle is still cooking.

I'm currently 3 layers deep, 4 if you count ETH as level one. ETH -> EtherFi eETH -> Pendle PT-eETH -> Deposit PT-eETH into Swell L2 So far the rewards have been incredible. When it all starts unravel and the end of the bull it's going to be a disaster. I'll probably go back to vanilla ETH this summer, hope it's not too late.

"Useful" cryptocurrencies don't generate the kind of ROI that memecoins can. The entire point to crypto, whether launching it or trading it, is to generate profits. And the best method would have the least amount of effort and investment risk to it. If PT Barnum were around... Creating a token, pamping it, and then pulling the rug was one of the best ways to achieve maximum profit with minimum effort/investment. Sure, it victimized a lot of people, but so did Johnson & Johnsons Baby Powder, Purdue Pharma's Oxycontin, and... almost every other endeavor in big business, from Fossil Fuels destroying the planet to Raytheon making an "environmentally friendly" missile to kill people with. That is how it works. And it is why some people are rich and other people are not.

That’s my problem. Buying at higher prices and missing the actual spikes up it does. Then buying in higher and getting hit with the liquidity grabs after the volatility happened. I was trading 2-5 coins at a time and it was safe to do so. Now I can barely trade a .1-.25 for the same results. Sheesh. Regrets for sure. So now I’m just DCA. I believe 140k is next PT.

I’ve been swinging MSTR calls through BTC attempts at breaking 69k. If we did through 70k my PT was 72k for the week. I think we can see that or 74k by 9:30 now. I’ve been burned too many times holding through ATH pushes into sell offs so will offload majority position at open.

And also as long as they successfully compete against others for limited internship spots, land a prestigious internship and successfully compete against others in landing a scarce number of jobs with the useful degree. Engineering, CS, etc aren't guarantees of return on investment anymore. Nothing is, aside from some health fields, like nursing, PT, OT, etc. But most of those (except nursing), you have to leverage a useful/relevant degree + internships + good GPA + decent GRE + other extracurriculars to compete with others for a limited number of spots at whatever graduate program. The trades are where it's at now.

The short answer is no. The longer answer is because of how ChatGPT works. Ultimately, it essentially makes things up as it goes. Specifically, it starts with a string of words and then picks the most probable next word ("G" for Generative, in **G**PT). It does this based on keeping track of the probabilities of leading and trailing context in a string of words ("T" for Transformer in GP**T**), asks the question "what word most likely comes next?", and then spits it out. These probabilities are calculated by analyzing strings of trillions of words that came before and after each other in content made by millions of people in many languages ("P" for "Pre-trained"). Thus, ChatGPT is a Generative Pre-Trained Transformer AI model arranged to be conversational (you write something, and that starts the context, it generates words based on this context, one after another until it comes to the most likely stopping point, and that's its response. Your question and its response and your response become the context for its next answer... and so on. If you carry on the conversation long enough you will see that it starts to forget early parts of the conversation, because its backward context is limited. Thus, ChatGPT literally just makes things up. However, because it uses perfect vocabulary for the context, and the process is pretty much how humans also pick the next word they say, this statistical stream-of-probability babble is often indistinguishable from expertise. What you have is the answer to a question on blockchain to a parrot with Vitalik's vocabulary. For what it's worth.

Yes i have some. PT? Not sure what that means? Profit taking? If so, im not sure, but i'd be very happy with BTC at 100k. I want to take some out also for catching the bottom in 3 years or whenever it will be. The "legal tender" misconception; "legal tender" is nothing but a poor choice of words in English, it doesn't even translate to "legal" anything in other languages; example in ES/PT "moneda/moeda de curso forzado/forçado" (forced course currency). The English choice of words made some people believe there's "illegal tender", when there's no such thing. The opposite of legal tender is volunteer trade. The real power of legal tender comes down to forcely settle debt. Eg. A owes $100 to B, both A and B are in the USA. If A wants to pay B with Bitcoin (or anything else than USD) and B refuses A still owes $100 to B, if A wants to pay in USD and B refuses A no longer owes anything to B because he can't be forced to settle in any other form of payment. This applies for Bitcoin, but would also apply to Euro, as Euro isn't USA legal tender, or the opposite, if they were Europeans that would apply for Dollars. If both parties agree to settle the debt in anything else than legal tender, then the debt is settled. "What if A pays in cocaine?" - from the debt perspective and taken B agreed, the debt is settled.
