I would ask what your goals are? long term 10 year investment, or a 1-2 year hold and cash out? the long term hold, you COULD see both go up in value by a 5-10x......i say COULD because you can already see the FEDS getting involved to REGULATE crypto......and thats a bad thing.....Ill get 75 downvotes for this but if you dont think the FEDS are already manipulating their way into this area to move our economy to a digital asset you havent been paying attention.....once it goes mainstream, the huge 10000% profits are DONE.......BTC s like GOLD and ETH isnt as valuable but definitely a nice investment....... if all stays the same, the next BEAR market is where you can accumulate tons of crypto at an 80-90% discount and when the next bull market arrives, you can create generational wealth for your kids....if its a long term hold, im maintaining my positions and buying some other altcoins along the way

If I were you I would learn how the market works before investing into anything, you are getting into BTC when it has reached a strong resistance, look at the chart and you will see that the area in which you have purchased is an area of rejection. At this point BTC has gone up with relatively low volume compared to previous history volume. If you put in your whole life savings you will have to be okay if things don't go your way. Before you get into any trade you have to have a plan, where you will get in and where you will get out (a level where you will take a loss if you are proven wrong) in order to minimize your loss. At this point BTC has made a move where given previous prive history (no based off of hope & hype or wishful thinking) where BTC doesn't have much more to move. If BTC can get above 69k and stay above it then it would make sense to purchase. I understand that a lot of people are filled with hope and wanting BTC to go to the moon and one day wake up "rich" at that point its just greed, since you are in already I would recommend coming up with an exit strategy in case things don't go your way, BTC has gotten rejected around this area 2 times already and from chart analysis, price action is showing me that it's getting rejected again, I could be wrong and if I am wrong I accept it and will adapt to the situation (currently I have no position on BTC) but if BTC gets rejected again here then we could se a very nice BEAR RUN, which is what I am anticipating. Learn how to read the markets, learn how BTC moves, don't give into the FOMO, be careful around these levels, I understand a lot of people are on the same side but again they won't be there if things go wrong, they won't give you back your life savings, they could be there when things are going good but if BTC falls their attitudes will cha ge as well. I read the T&C’s and compared fees, in the end I chose ARKB, I was doing a roll over, so a small portion I put into this. More to compare and see how it goes against other ETF’s in the portfolio, will leave it until the next BEAR start. If it’s been favorable during the time until then, then I’ll switch more over. Just the rambling thoughts of a random internet stranger and not FA.

I find it interesting that during the bear market the common refrain was "the cycles are shortening" to justify holding on a little longer until the next bull market. If the bottom was in fact Nov '22 and bull market started then, I'd argue that the bear market was only 1 year long (Nov '21 to Nov '22) and previous bull market was also 12-18 months long depending on how you want to look at the charts. So according to that logic, wouldn't that indicate that we're nearing the end of the current bull market? Obviously this also doesn't take into account the broader market and macro forward outlook which isn't looking great IMO. I'll probably get downvoted because "you're a BEAR BoOooOOOoO" but for the record I'm perma-bull, just a realistic one with realistic timelines. Just my two cents.

Most people's mistake in their first bull run is to hang on believing they are going to make a fortune. You don't, you make your fortune in your 2nd or 3rd bull run! If you miss the top and the crash starts just resign yourself to a 4 year wait, trust me it will be worth it. DO NOT SELL IN THE BEAR MARKET, just be patient and hodl. Any other investment you made would take years to give you a decent profit, so don't expect Bitcoin or crypto to give you it the next day.

Just DCA. I've seen dozens and dozens of posts over the years saying the same thing as you. What we need to remember is the entire market still mainly follows bitcoin. BTC/crypto market typically has a 36-42 month BEAR market, and only 6-12 months of a bull market. This is why even if you DCA of try to time buys 75-85% of the time the midterm market is trending down overall (of course volatility will happen), so literally the price is likely to keep trending down more than up for DCA's until the bull market hits. My guess is the bottom was in on BTC at 15k, and the bottom of the last cycle before that was 3k. If we keep 5x'ing the bottom every 3-5 years our next bottom would be 75k (15 x 5), with a top somewhere from 150k-300k according to past charts. Surviving/thriving Alt coins obviously usually have lower lows & dumps but potentially higher highs & pumps. HODL up!

I might be hated by some of you for this, but a lot moonbois "predict" that XRP will go as high as 35$ per token or more. So lets do a bit of math. For it to go as high in current conditions, it has to have a higher marketcap than BTC at its last ATH, DURING A BEAR MARKET. I'll make it even easier lol, just use a market cap comparison/calculator tool, there's a dozen online, I used this one : https://cryptoscenarios.com/coins/ripple/ The best it could do, in a fairytail world scenario where Ripple gets a 100% win, is get to 3rd place and dethrone both USDT and BNB. ETH (2nd place) has a marketcap approx. 8x bigger and USDT (3rd place) has a marketcap that is approx. 3x bigger. Thus being said, I am sorry to break it to you, but XRP will not go over 4$ per token, not NOW anyways. Calculate your investment returns accordingly lol Be safe while trading and always try to stay grounded lol

I’ve been doing consultancy for what I know regarding what I’ve done for decades for a while However, I only do hours I want to do at a price I’m willing to accept. This means I don’t do a lot of hours a week/month, having been in the crypto space for a while and having learnt from BULL/BEAR markets. I think I’m also going to be doing trading seriously this year but in a small way, starting in the next couple of months. The idea will be to prove out what I think I can do, so in 5 years, I hope to have grown the trading business, or conversely I’ll have stopped trading and just try enjoying life rather than working! However, I’ve been lucky and really enjoyed my job and working life, so hopefully I can enjoy trading as much, but I won’t be doing a no lot of hours, just supplemental. Additionally, within the next few years I hope I’ll have sold enough coins to make the deposit on a second home on the beach. This will be used for AB&B and when not rented, the family & I will be enjoying it 😊 So, hopefully in 5 years I’ll be sat on the deck drinking wine, doing a little trading and thoroughly enjoying life with the family 😜
