Bought a coin for a NFT game called ETERNAL around $1.50 each purchased 100 used it and played the game for a bit I remember I accumulated almost 200 coins and sold most of it when it hit $50 thinking it will be the highest and oh boy i was wrong as it hit around 700 good times.

I bought axs at 110 or so and dca'd down to 10.. then I was so sad I sold it at 7.. so took a huge loss there.. At some point I was earning 5 dollars from staking.. down to 1, then to 0.5 or so.. (not a huge sum invested, less than 2k I think).. so yeah.. I don't really trust gaming tokens anymore.. I had some DAR, VOXEL, ENJ, even got owned by ETERNAL on pancakeswap.. I changed to btc/etc.. I guess it is going better, but I still am around 35% down.

Well I guess they can survive a lot of time but their value might diminish.. I put some small amounts of fiat into some bsc projects on pancakeswap and I am down 75% I think if not more, but fortunately it was not a large sum. I guess I will forever hold 2 ETERNAL haha.

I've been in the Play-to-earn space for the past few months, while the profits are insane, the stability and playability of these games are not. Most 'games' are click-to-earn and don't last over a month. There's a game Cryptomines $ETERNAL went from $20 to $800 in weeks, then went to $2 in days. Basically it's a high risk high reward environment, some actual games are starting to come through though! Like Thetan arena, and many more to come next year!
While true, there are stuff out there that may seem suspicious to the savvy but not for the common user. You go to play a game, or to a dex, and they make you sign a contract for unlimited fund extraction. That's not the worst part, metamask is like "this is fine" and unless you know what you are doing or are very curious you will never realize this. I've had only experience in cryptomines. It was not that hard. There were 2 ways of making money in that game . So every night (at my local time) people were allowed to take out profits or whatever. Therefore the their token ($ETERNAL) would go down, so I buy. The next day people would start playing and the token would go up and I sell (just like a kind of trading) but also you could make money by playing the game. Buying their NFTs that were spaceships and workers that you would send to attack planets and win their crypto. So the more fleets you had the more chances to win. Idk if other NFTs have the same pattern but that was my experience with cryptomines. I just invested money that I had in binance that I don't even remember why and started following twitch channels about the game.
