In December 2023, I heard that Bitcoin ETFs were likely to be approved by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in 2024—and that’s when everything started to make sense, I started connecting all the puzzle pieces and I see where bitcoin was heading. so by January I started made my moves and BAM! However, the primary reason for the discrepancy is that stock prices are determined by market PERCEPTION of FUTURE value. New buyers are essentially saying, "I'm willing to pay a premium of 1.8x for the stock bc I believe the company will be positioned to benefit from their holdings even MORE than 1.8x the value of their holdings."

The only thing you are paying MSTR to justify anything extra (premium) is the "Saylor pump". This isn't much difference than the Musk pump from 2021. Otherwise, it is an expensive way to own BTC. I don't see any economic value in MSTR owning 1% of BTC other than being able to charge people a premium for holding it (like GBTC did @ >2% for several years). It isn't as if there are yields generated by BTC other than lending it out. And even if there was economic power -- what does that give the shareholder? How is that translated into FUTURE shareholder value? And you can't say, "well BTC will be $1m someday" -- as I can just buy BTC directly and wait for it to hit $1m anyhow (assuming it will). Future growth of BTC is linear between MSTR and BTC so there is no additional future value to today's investor for price appreciation in contrast to just holding BTC.

You need to understand only one very fundamental aspect of statistics: PAST RESULTS DO NOT CONDITION FUTURE RESULTS. The roulette gave 5 black numbers in a row? There is zero chance to predict accurately that the next number is going to be red. There is a 50% chance in every single throw, no better predictability than that. Common sense fails here, many people will think "it's a statistical anomaly that so many black numbers happen in a row, it should be 50-50 so red should be next, I'll bet on red" and black can come out again. Or green (the probability in the roulette is not actually 50-50). It simply doesn't work like that, each throw of the ball, of the dice, etc is a completely separate event from all the other previous events. Technical Analysis sells the **incorrect** idea that by observing past events and patterns, you can predict future events even if practically all the variables are uncontrollable to you, and there are also misleading variables (whales pumping to dump, etc) that you don't know about. It simply doesn't work. If it did, everybody would be a millionaire and the truth is that around 90% of traders lose money. If that isn't sufficient evidence for you that it doesn't work, I don't know how to make you see it. It's not different than a casino or lottery winners.

No offense but why did you think we would get mass adoption so quickly? My 90 year old great grandmother in the 90s refused to get air conditioning because she had always just...not had it. My point is that people are dumb and insanely resistant to change. The banks still use the outdated systems of decades ago for payment settling, because they are too cheap to upgrade their systems and the current one technically works...so 🤷‍♂️. I don't know what you mean exactly by "mass adoption" but if you're thinking "the average person uses cryptocurrency for daily transactions" you're looking at towards the the end of this century. It's cool though, just think of it like this: you can leave your hardware wallet to your kids and they will be much better off for it. I wish more people in this community would think that way. You are NEVER going to get rich in one lifetime if you started off middle class or lower. I said very clearly BTC has done (and continues to) very well but you buy with the future in mind, which is why I mentioned buying CRO now FOR THE FUTURE! It’ll be up in 6 months but so will everything else, it’s more of what will it be like in 1-2 years from now or more specifically, when we see the peak of the Bull before heading back into the next Bear.

You can periodically check the wallet balance by copy pastintlg the receving address in the mempool website. WITHDRAWING BTC IN THE FUTURE 10. Download Sparrow Wallet app just like you did in No. 1 above. 11. Restore the wallet using the 12 or 24 seed words that you stored in No. 2 above. 12. Wait for wallet to sync and show the balance; and then youre ready to make withdrawals.

Look into Tangem wallet, without updatable firmware, and a security chip that allows only signing transactions. Sure it has limited functionality, but it's one of the few wallets out there which cannot pull a 'ledger' in the FUTURE even if they wanted to. (unless of course they already implanted a backdoor TODAY, but with anything you need some trust)

Yes, this is very important insight. And largely misunderstood. It is also slightly incomplete. The purpose of banks is to create liquidity and manage risk. The purpose of FIAT currency is so that we can have nice things like roads and bridges and toilets that flush because someone, somewhere, is taking care of the shitty things that happen at the other end of that pipe. We want these things now, but we will benefit from them over time. And we need an economic transmission between who owes what to whom at the moment, and who else is going to pay whoever else in the future. That is the purpose of a bank. Banks administer FUTURE PERFORMANCE OBLIGATIONS, in which there is a RISK that one of the counterparties may fail to perform. Banks administer the consequences of future performance failure, and distribute the risk. Like an insurance policy that everyone pays for. So we get nice things, and we can have them now, and we can pay for them over time. And be fairly sure that by the time we've finished paying for a road or a bridge or a sewage treatment plant that it will still be there doing its thing. Banks are all about risk management. And they are every very very good at managing risk. They are so good that when a bank "fails", their depositors are not harmed. The bankers are harmed first. Imagine what crypto would look like if the devs who made coins rug-pulled themselves and crypto holders walked away intact. Banks and FIAT go hand in hand, because we want nice things, and we want them now. Crypto has to go a long long way before it can "replace" the banking system. We are not yet there.

Options from 14k to 1.2m. Was running on the inflation game. MAN msft appl nvda. Personally I only keep around 5% of my investments in crypto. It grew to 45k and I moved that to one of the cards offered and ate while I traveled. Moved most of the money to usdc and at the time I was locked into 14% interest payments. I used it as a more profitable savings account. Crypto is kinda dog shit. Never be afraid to cash out and always push the person saying to the moon off the bridge and out of your view. IF YOU EVER DREAM OF A FUTURE WHILE BUYING OR HOLDING. that's a good sign you should be out and not look back. Crypto isn't really useful. Anyone who thought the ntfs were gunna be a huge thing. Probably that money is now being used to fund a war against Ukraine. All govs should have a stable coin they can use and then use to catch criminals. They should put all politicians on their govstable coin and all transactions for politicians should be public. Crypto uses are not in financial districts. Ts in the fact that I can track a airplane part or compounds for making meds. I can then as the user check all the credibility of my med in the same system that they use to track it. Stop dreaming. This was my original draft, i had to use AI to try and restructure it: All those who say "Crypto has no utility" are wrong ⚠️. I will share a short story of how i got into Crypto. I did not get into Crypto to make money or lose money. This tech is probably the best thing that happened to people who live in countries considered as "Third World". 👇 On a certain day during the year 2021, i was on google searching "The Top 10 ways to make money online" because at that time i was broke and had no income. I was still in university then, but we were all at home that year because of the Global Covid-19 Lockdown. I managed to discover a site where you could earn money by doing micro tasks that supports AI research. The name of that site is "Yandex Toloka" toloka.ai/tolokers I have not checked the site recently but at that time i was making less than $20 monthly using one account Making $20 on Toloka was very hard, frustrating and ridiculous. Most tasks payed <$0.01 and on a good day >$0.1. I had no choice but to scale up, i probably broke their ToC by creating multiple accounts to increase my income from the site. If i remember correctly, there were three primary ways to receive your payment. You could receive it through Paypal, Payoneer & Skrill. I chose Skrill because PayPal was not supported in my country and Payoneer was having some verification issues. My first payment was around $14 or so. I was happy that this thing was actually paying because most internet sites similar to Toloka were either frauds or scams. OK, i have my first $14, time to cashout. I went to the withdraw tab and saw that withdrawing straight to your bank account was possible, Yay! finally some real internet money. But all that excitement soon turned into frustration and anger when i realized that withdrawing to a bank in my country was not possible. I did not give up. I quickly went to Google after days of depression thinking that my hard earned money was stuck on Skrill. The first idea that came to my mind was "Betting". I told myself what if i could transfer this money to a local betting site and use that to cash out. Boom! Another frustrating venture, i quickly found out that few international sites supported this and absolutely no local site did. I started to look for a better solution to my problem again. Went back to google, googling. After what seemed to be years of googling, i managed to discover another site. It was a Crypto p2p site and its name was "Paxful" By that time i had made more $$$ on Toloka. I discovered that you could buy Bitcoin using a peer to peer system on Paxful and fortunately Skrill was an accepted form of payment on the site. Yay! i found a better solution. I made my first trade on the 21st April 2021. Those were the good days haha, when BTC was at $65k and people really thought we could hit $100k EOY😂, right now we are at like $26k with BTC, holy shit what a drop. By the way i managed to swap the BTC into my local currency. Fast forward to today and i have experienced a lot of shit in the Crypto space. I joined CEXs like Binance, i invested in shitcoins and scam tokens, got into NFTs (no utility btw) & read about trading (bullshit technical analysis, more like astrology if you ask me). So what's my point? My point is that many centralized financial institutions do not provide the same level of financial access/opportunities to third world countries that Crypto has consistently provided. DeFi IS PROBABLY THE FUTURE OF FINANCE AND YOU SHOULD LOOK INTO IT.
