Contact Newton. Then contact your local PD. If there was an E-transfer then a Canadian bank is involved. Canadian Banks require KYC. Even Canadian cops can follow that kind of trail. Good Luck

Absolutely. Police can subpoena those records. All carriers will have them for a time period, so don’t waste time. They can see what phone was used, SIM ID, location it was used in, etc. Some phones are burners, just prepaid phones from places like Walmart and those are tougher because they’re not registered to a single user but stores keep purchase record and video usually. Because this is part of a larger group more than likely it’s also likely the FBI already has other cases reported from the group.
