Yeah yeah exactly. Humans are either going to evolve their economic and energy systems or we're screwed anyway. IMO if crypto is destroyed by central banks and governments and our energy doesn't become sustainable and clean, we're fucked anyway. I'm not really expecting humans to succeed, (mainly because the .001% richest people will dictate our future) but I figure I may as well invest in the financial tech that would allow actual fair markets and greater wealth equality. Worse case we all die in water wars in the next 10-100 years, best case humans actually persevere and investments in the solutions responsible for that will make me comfortable. At this point, ethereum and bitcoin are no longer going to make you RICH in crypto, like they could've if you bought in march 2020 or if you had bought and held in 2018-2019. However, ethereum and bitcoin can still at the very least maintain your money. Buy in regular intervals without a care for what the prices are (DCA) Open a [crypto.com](https://crypto.com) account or look into DeFi and stake bitcoin and ethereum for passive interest. Don't sell no matter what. These tools will leave your money slowly growing over long term periods. Personally I prefer the methods of staking that are safer but are locking your assets from selling or transferring. [Crypto.com](https://Crypto.com) has 3 month locks which are pretty good. If I wasn't already fairly immune to the daily price swings, these locks would've helped me weather the recent down trend for eth to \~2300 and back up to 3k. Admittedly at this point the only way to get "rich" in crypto is by predicting the next big thing, which is far easier said then done. I'd rather just focus on the big boys with small bags in various popular coins (MATIC, ONE, DOT) for potential portfolio growth.

This is the path /direction of most crypto today, however its not about what it can do, what benefit it brings or the security it provides, THE SYSTEM and THE RICH prevent this. Blockchain would provide sooo much better of a service around a multitude of industries.. Why its not taken up....my guess is above.

Thank god its finally over. Now crypto will hopefully be quiet for 2-3 years, the youtubers will all move on, the prices will stagnate, and the public will forget about all the embarrassing nft and shitcoin madness. Then suddenly in 2024 bitcoin will have its halving, and maybe some news or pump cycle will start up again and if you've been quietly holding from now until then, we'll be RICH
