When there's a gold rush, you don't buy gold. You invest in the company selling shovels. I did the same thing when BNB was 9$, and that paid off. Although I lost it in options trading. Time in the market > timing the market. Albert Einstein: "Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it; he who doesn't, pays it." I love how the system to set up - to favour compound interest. I get paid out weekly, I can move it to defi, and compound it. Currently, I'm compounding weekly and watching my investment grow so quickly is addicting, frankly. I have a lot of faith in CDC. In a recent interview (Check Kris's twitter) he said they have all the licenses necessary to launch in Korea, one of the hugest markets besides the US. They are build on a solid bedrock of compliance. I've used the help in the app about half a dozen times, and it's been amazing. I saw the proof of reserves, and their behaviour in the bear market. They not only weathered it, they came out STRONG. Plenty of upside potential. It's not a top ten coin yet. Three things I look at when I buy a coin. 1. Do I know the team? 2. What is the utility? Does it have a wallet? Can I stake it? Does it actually work and do what its supposed to do? Is it defi compatible? Is the supply finite? Could I pay for a coffee with it? In all cases, yes. The Visa is the best in the market, for icy, and the defi wallet is fantastic. 3. What's the upside potential? Is it already at ATH, or does it have plenty of room to grow? This will be exciting. Bitcoin is a fun asset, but putting all my capital into a barely top 30 coin is going to make this next year a thrill ride. 2.71.25 There's plenty other reasons, but these are the ones that I factored into my decision. Feel free to tell me I'm stupid, because I probably am. But this'll be a fun year. If there's enough interest, I'll do monthly updates.

I see a huge future for NFTs and gaming. Someone with some solid gaming and business acumen needs to come along with a project that is extensible across gaming IPs and the IPs need to be STRONG. You get a game like World of Warcraft with a token-based Auction House and things like very low quantity, high utility items that don’t TOTALLY break the game for others and that would take off. You would need the ability play balance of a CCG like MtG with the brilliance of an AAA gaming title. It would be great. Or it could start with a CCG. Every game, every action written to the blockchain. Could do neat things like tournament replays. We’ve had attempts at all this but they were half-assed and more of a PoC for the tokens.

$STRONG... I remember it fondly. I was sold on the hype but spent about 30 seconds researching the required investment and tokenomics. It didn't make sense to me. What basically happens with bitcoin is that everyone can see transactions but none can attach them with you. They don’t see your name, they see a weird number (like codiwne728(!jdkskch72758bdksivns) making it. So the government will always be able to ask for taxes but using the actual money a user possesses rather than a name (which is what happens now). That means that corruption and drugs will actually be taxable. We won’t be able to accumulate dept with bitcoin, which will basically make us all play by the same rules. Now what happens is, if someone is rich and owns a lot of property or any type of asset, they can make their paperwork show that they have 0 or even negative impact. Amazon for example is a company that shows negative income every year, so it is basically untaxable. But bezos makes income with his other companies, while his most profitable one is basically “bunkrupt”. So with the current financial system, bezos will always be winning. With crypto, taxes would apply to wallets, not individual companies. Everything would be seen on blockchain so none would be able to cheat the system. The governments hate bitcoin because it is an asset that you can start investing in with 2 fiat currency, while something like a house needs thousands of fiat. In addition, bitcoin’s price due to its halving mechanism will keep making it more and more profitable and inflation free. We have limited amount of it so the demand will increase. Little supply, high demand, you can understand why it will grow. And it will take down the euro and the dollar soon after. All what is left is people to suffer a bit more because of capitalism and then a chain reaction will start happening. The governments will decorate war on bitcoin and they will lose. If I wanted to shill, I would do it on a regular basis on other reddits, but I don't, someone brought this thread to my attention because I have STRONG opinions on decentralized pooling so STRATUM2 is a step in the right direction for that, but we're still left with the larger underlying problem of the hashrate owners centralizing, THAT IS CRITICAL TO SECURITY. This is not a trivial matter to overlook and one that needs to be addressed, I don't know what the solution for bitcoin is because I don't see the current participants ever wanting to walk away from what they control, nor do I see any internal pressures to address the situation to restore "one cpu one vote" mantra to the network, so its going to as I point out continue to consolidate and that should worry you as well, enough to want to address it today. Why is it anytime someone points out an issue with bitcoin they are instantly labeled a shill, I provided one example in one comment and did not bring it up any other time, because it was just a relevant example I am familiar with, not an attempt to press people to it, otherwise I would do that daily in numerous reddits to garner the attention to allege I seek, but yet I don't. This is why things become complacent, because the "defenders" never want to acknowledge issues unless they came up with the solution and get to tout it to others essentially shilling themselves, ironic isn't it since thats the behavior you claim me of. Either bitcoin returns to its roots and finds a way to do that with participation of the average person, or it becomes the very thing it attempted to change, simply changing the name on the door of who controls the economy is not a win for crypto, its a loss, and everyone in bitcoin should want to address that today, what that solution is will likely not be along my preferences, but a solution needs to be thought of because its critical to the goals bitcoin has, decentralization, you can't be decentralized when a few corporate entities control your hashrate and the average person can't participate, thats the problem with todays financial system.
