Yep ADA spent a LOT of time with the basics and planing for the future of the token. (if you have been in a space long enough, you'll remember Cardano took a lot of crap over this while other black chains that have come and gone where throwing out bullshit products) I honestly believe it will come to fruition in the near future. One of the recent examples of this was on Minswap they had an extra $45,000 worth of Cardano and didn't know what to do with it so they took a vote on-chain from MIN holders. Zip zip done.

As someone who always wanted to house hack, and then bought a 2 unit house in FL, relocated, and am doing it. It’s working out per se, but not everyone should own a home. Myself included at this point in my life, maybe. I’ve had to do so many “minor” repairs over the last 2 years it’s basically been a part time job, and an extra $500/month average. HVAC, hot water heater, couple plumbing issues, window AC unit. I just turned over tenants and had to fumigate for termites and rebuild my front porch because of wood rot. That was $5k out of pocket. On top of the 1 month vacancy, which was $3k out of pocket. None of that adds value to the home. I’m single, 30’s, and realizing I’d rather be travelling, snowboarding, some surf, golf, etc. instead of fix up a 100 yr old home. Depends where you are in your life. Ready to settle down and dedicate your weekends to home ownership? Go for it. If not, think twice. Your rent is the MAX you will pay/month as a renter. Your mortgage is the MIN you will pay/month as a homeowner. It’s usually a good bit more.

For sure. Here lately been using Minswap - ADA/MIN ADA/DJED and Osmosis OSM/USDC. Usually the LP pools I used on Celo and Algo all had .3% (or was it .03%?? Idk really know but low) swap fees across the board. Minswap has things set up a little differently when showing their percentages. So just trying to understand more and how much of it I'll actually see vs rewards vs just don't provide LP.

I spent the morning going deep into a few hedera and cardano projects looking for some gems. A basic run down: Karate on hedera is cool if you’re actually into mma. For me, there’s way too many tokens still to unlock and I’m a pretty surface mma fan. Grelf is a meme coin on hedera. I watched the entire video on the homepage and agreed with it. Meme coins, nfts, and defi *primarily* grow ecosystems in crypto. I don’t believe they will follow through with monthly buy backs but… I’ll keep an eye out, maybe I’m wrong.. Saucerswap/HSUITE. Just dex coins. Follow tvl for the most part. Stripper coin on cardano is interesting but I skimmed through their most recent twitter spaces and it just sounds like horny dudes and a chick. Added to watchlist though because porn is profitable 🤷🏽‍♂️ Ray network on cardano on the surface looks extremely promising. Their roadmap seems to actually be coming to fruition which is nice… I just don’t like seeing sooo much on the roadmap. It seems too broad of a picture.. definitely paying attention though. The only one I’m leaning towards entering is minswap. Cardano tvl is on the rise and MIN could outperform if growth stays consistent.

Right. You’ll feel the pain in the US if you’re not holding for a year, not making profits, and/or not setting aside profits for taxes. Your staking rewards, mining rewards, airdrops, and even Brave rewards are taxed as soon as they’re claimed. Not when you sell. And then when you eventually sell those rewards you’re taxed again. Anytime you use a DeFi platform and the trade involves a derivative like WETH; you actually just got taxed twice in one trade. And people forget that trading in and out of stablecoins are taxable events. I just decided to stay out of anything that I can’t buy directly from a CEX unless you’re prepared to a least have 3 taxable events in DeFi. At least on Cardano since all the tokens are native there’s no ada derivative used for DeFi trading but still: USD to ada = not taxable. Ada to MIN on Minswap = short term, taxable. You hold the MIN token for a year and decided to cash out your gains. MIN to ada = long term, taxable. Bruh. You’re not done yet because you’re still trying to get back to fiat. Ada to USD = short term, taxable. You probably got taxed twice at 22% to 37% because of two trades involving short term capital gains and perhaps one below 22% because one trade had long term capital gains. Now if you had a self-direct IRA with crypto trading inside you can avoid all the taxes but you can’t touch that money until you’re older. Or you can just take a loan and use that money to trade; that’s not taxable. But don’t play with leverage.

Before you do this, you need to figure out a way to design the reward so that it can't be abused: Large Moon farmers would figure out a strategy to abuse tipping, possibly using alt accounts. Maybe: Tip = MIN(20, 0.5 * (smallest amount tipped) * (number of different accounts tipped - 1)) * This would cap the tipping reward at 20, and it would make it so that the reward is half of what's tipped. * It would be resilient to tipping alt accounts as long as the number of alts is less than "(number tipped - 1) / 2"

Well use case, lets say I want to Farm min/ada as the return is (114% for providing liquidity) but I don't want to sell my ADA to acquire MIN as I don't want to create a taxable event and I feel that ADA will go back up to 1.00 next month. I generate a loan request by creating an NFT BOND on AADA finance. I'd Put up about 405 ADA in trade for 3000 MIN, plus 10% interest rate, 60 day loan. A lender comes across decides it's favorable so they put up the 3000 min and receive an NFT bond with the 405 ADA collateral tied to it (plus interest and expiration). The borrower will receive the NFT ticket which when they provide the NFT plus amount borrowed (3000 MIN) + interest before the expiration date, I get my collateral back. If I fail, the lender gets the collateral. Granted a lot of things can happen in this period, the price of ADA could go up or down (but the amount of ADA tied to the NFT is what's provided in order to get the collateral back). ADA could go up to 3.00 or down .10, either way the amount of ADA, not the value of ADA dictates closing out the loan, same with MIN. To get my collateral back I need to provide 3000MIN, MIN could be worth 1.00 or .001 it doesn't matter the amount not value needs to be given. There's your LP case. What if you want some pair of 500 dollar sneakers (I don't judge) in this case collateral of ADA or AADA (or honestly whatever crypto tied to Cardano is put up as collateral) same process for loan, but this time conditions are to receive a stable token. Cash the token out for fiat, buy the sneakers. When you want your collateral back, send the amount of token + interest + NFT to receive collateral. The benefit of the NFT bond loan is that it's an NFT so for instance lets say you know you won't be able to pay back the loan but don't want to lose your collateral, you can sell the NFT (for a loss of value of course) to an individual willing to pay off the loan + interest (for less than face value of collateral as they're looking to make money) to receive your collateral. So instead of losing your collateral, the NFT bond allows a way to at least recoup a little bit of it. It's a little daunting and complex at face value, but it's not once you understand the concept/application etc. It's certainly not for everyone, but neither is farming or LPs.

So these are all done via Yoroi. It all depends on the stake pool you choose. Genius Yield has their own stake pools - GENS1-GENS3 and GENSX. One thing to note, not all ISPOs are the same. GENS takes all of the normal ADA rewards, but you end up getting more GENS because of it. Minswap actually didn’t take any of your ADA so you got both ADA and MIN. Sundae is the same as Minswap, you get both. Basically check around the Cardano subreddit and you’ll find all kinds of posts asking about currently running ISPOs. ISPO is Initial Stake Pool Offer btw.

Stake in an ISPO. There are plenty. Minswap ended up being airdropping an equivalent of 10% of your ADA in about 2 months of staking. So if you staked 1000ADA you got roughly 100 ADA worth of MIN tokens as a return in a couple months, on top of normal ADA rewards for staking. Sundae is doing theirs for a month and it’ll be lower but still a few % worth in a single month. Then there are things like Genius Yield which give 0.0025 GENS per ADA staked per epoch. They are running their stake pool for 6 full months. So you stake 1000 and end up with 100 gens in 6 months. Gens only has a 100m supply… so if GENS ends up at the current sundae market cap… that’s $10 per GENS… so a potential 100% return in 6 months with no risk to your initial ADA. Literally printing money right now just be holding.
