I concur with this assessment...may grab me a "crypto loan" this summer and stack Cardano native tokens....😁...not as secure as BTC but a couple moons there may be life changing...WMT AADA INDY MILK

Look out for the dips on MILK and AADA they both still have great uptrend potential. VYFI is only just getting started. Sadly MIN is performing like trash due to its tokenomics and emissions. They need to fix that ASAP.

Should've bought some MILK and AADA. Was always interested in the AADA platform. Hope MIN pumps too

I’ve been adding my fundamentals BTC and Eth as well as some Cardano. I had plans of just stopping there but freaking Cardano sucked me in and I’ve been going hard with AADA, Milk and a meme coin called SNEK. Been doing very well and Zero complaints so far

AADA Finance. a lending and borrowing protocol on cardano. [app.aada.finance](https://app.aada.finance)

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

they have been working on utility to have AADA to be used as payment for services on the protocol. and getting close to launching V2. so we'll see what happens. I got most of my AADA for free anyway being part of their ISPO, then earning more from providing liquidity in minswap. hopefully it will still have utility coming up other than just voting.

Isn't AADA just another protocol's governance token? Never seen actual serious governance based on tokens in crypto take place, so for me there's no "real value" behind those (besides funding for the dev)? Happy to see native tokens doing well, though.

I don’t really understand why people say it’s behind and would like to understand other view points or what’s going on in other ecosystems. I utilized my ADA lending through AADA Finance or stake with ISPOs. I am looking forward to projects like GoKey and Spectrum Finance. What other ecosystems are booming with active dApps? I don’t write to be argumentative. I would sincerely like to know other projects that have running dApps and not just building through the bear. Polygon for example, has gained some major partnerships but what exactly is that producing? I know the potential of NFTs but right now besides Book.IO, they are still trying to find their place beyond jpegs.

I'm a fan of AADA (Lending/borrowing platform uses NFT bond to trade the debt). If you go to [taptools.io](https://taptools.io), there will be charts and metrics. I was bullish on MELD about a year and a half ago when I staked for their ISPO, but they've continued to be a let down so I'd avoid them. Minswap is a great platform for LP/Farming, min token has been doing well, but it's more of a payment token with a 5B supply and only currently 15% circulating so not sure what drove the price up; as much as I like min, it's not a long term hold. Haven't looked into what WMT has been up to (worth a look though) Started messing around with Indigo Protocol with staking iBTC; INDY is also a low total supply coin and a payment/reward coin. I haven't dug into it's whitepaper for tokenomics yet, but their platform is interesting.

Some old videos but still relevant: [Liquidity pools](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVJzcFDo498) [Impermanent loss](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_m6Mowq3Ptk) [Farming](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaeI5D6NDvw) I prefer [MinSwap](https://app.minswap.org/) for LP/farming as they breakdown the percentage of pairs on what you can earn (for instance total percentage, then X amount ADA, X amount MIN, and trading fees). You can also look into loaning out cardano native tokens through [AADA.finance](https://AADA.finance). The loans are over collateralized and the smart contract is tied to an NFT which is tradeable should you desire to buy/sell a loan.

On par with what and how so? I can go on AADA finance and request a loan (peer2peer), someone picks it up smart contract generated with terms of the loan (the amount I want, collateral I put up ada or native token support), interest and time frame. When someone fullfills it they get an NFT tied to the loan so if I'm liquidated (partial based on health of loan) or fail to pay it back in time, they receive the collateral. I get an NFT with the loan amount. When I pay back the loan I turn in the amount borrowed, interest due and NFT in order to receive my collateral. Or if I can't pay the loan back I can sell the NFT for (whatever I think someone will pay in order to recoup the collateral I'd lose) and that person can turn in the amount borrowed, interest and NFT to receive the collateral tied to the loan. This is a pretty robust smart contract.

Having a few DeFi protocols is not the same as having a functional DeFi ecosystem. Firstly, there's no money market (there's AADA but that's P2P lending, so permissioned and dependant on consumers, not something other protocols can build around), the DEXes all have astronomically high scoop fees to the tune of a whole dollar per trade plus they're slow as shit, no native stablecoin, all traded tokens are beta or WIP DApps with nothing to show for, and lastly there's absolutely no protocol that's unique so that you can't find a better, more efficient version on another network.

Only on Cardano through [AADA.Finance](https://AADA.Finance) However, in that situation they create the loan (with collateral) terms and a buyer decides to scoop it up or not. I believe they are working on a loan request section. Would be similar to an individual looking to borrow x amount whatever token, then I imagine the lenders would but down different interest rates for the borrower to choose from.

well for starters there is a site made by a community member that tries to keep up to date with ispo's which is where you can stake your ADA and depending on the pool you can earn multiple tokens from 1 pool. www.cardanoispo.com I would learn about Ray Network with their XRAY token who are offering good stuff right now. AADA Finance, RhodiumCoin, Cardano Gold Coin. honestly I do wish there was more of a source to see it all more readily. but the cardano sub is a good place to learn. of course these projects have their own socials, twitter, discord and so on. but starting somewhere is better than doing nothing.

Well maybe review whats going on with Cardano because you seem to be missing quite a bit, a few off the top of my head: AADA NFT Bonds are live, this allows true bond like loans on blockchain. Cardano has identity solution actually being rolled out to 5million students in Ethiopia. Georgian wine supply chain tracking moved out of PoC, readying for adoption. Dish network rolling out rewards on Cardano. Government of Japan selected Cardano for their rewards system. As you see, much more than just inward looking tools for crypto degens, actual solutions being applied in the real world. There are too many innovations Comjng from future Cardano projects, one spings to mind is Axo are readying their toolset now which will allow direct fiat integrations like direct DCA into Cardano tokens. Ethereum and its clones are hobbled by awkward infrastructure, Cardano is going to start expanding exponentially as its not constrained in the same ways.

[AADA.finance](https://AADA.finance): DeFi on Cardano, lend/borrowing tied to NFT bond (that is tradable). Someone wants a loan in a cardano native asset, they set the terms (Amount to borrow, collateral (ADA), length of time and interest (paid in AADA or ADA). A lender approves of the terms and picks up the loan. Both parties receive an NFT with terms. Person pays back loan+interest to get their collateral back, or they get liquidated (if collateral comes into parity with amount borrowed), or they fail to pay back the loan (collateral goes to whatever wallet is holding the other/lender NFT). AADA only has 29.5M total supply, it's a DAO governance token as well.

This is true, but will change depending on how much network activity Cardano gets. To be fair, Cardano is in it's absolute infancy, and even flagship projects haven't gotten off the ground yet. WMT by itself will represent a *very large* number of transactions, as will all the projects waiting for a stable coin like DJED. It's only been a few months since plutus got of the ground. Right now, it's really only possible to swap tokens around on a bunch of DEXs, which is not a feature that makes Cardano competitive against ETH - especially when the available tokens don't *do* anything yet. The calculus changes when projects begin to mature. While projects like MELD and AADA probably wont tilt the scale, ETH offers nothing similar to WMT or EMP that I can see.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

Non-custodial DeFi project on cardano. Lend/borrow crypto or fiat. They were supposed to hand out banker NFTs back in Jan for people who staked in their ISPO pools; only about 40k of us did. The NFTs were going to provided boosted interest rates. They kept pushing back on that NFT date, they had released diamond hand NFTs for the earliest stakers, eventually they tied some benefit to those and the price exploded. Honestly haven't been following that project for a few months. Only reason I asked was because over on AADA finance there are about 11 active loans seeking over 1M MELD tokens; the loan dates are set pretty far off so wondering if they were capturing a benefit or planning on dropping them on the market to depress the price then buy it back more cheaply, netting the profit.

I stake my ada to get rewards, and I use Minswap as my DEX. I can send multiple tokens in a single transaction which is cool. But right now there isn’t much to do. I have my MELD staked as well. I know AADA Finance came out today and I think it’s launching with NFTs bond which sounds cool. This is the first real DeFi app launching. When smart contracts came out last year everyone assumed the dApps were ready. But not all the tools were available to make them user-friendly. And many developers were waiting for Plutus v2 which comes with the Vasil hardfork. So even when Smart Contracts came out the reality is that the skill set to code in Plutus and the tools being use to create a product weren’t really there. Note that about 1000 “dApps” are in development but almost 50% of that is NFTs since they’re native assets on the blockchain as well. Pretty much Vasil should have launched along side of the smart contract release. So now we have another 4 months to a year of waiting for actually applications releasing. Better to do it in the bear market I guess. I do think the native Cardano oracle Charli3 will be functional right after the Vasil hardfork since it was waiting on read-only transactions to make funneling data more efficiently. I do think projects on Cardano are undervalued only because the teams are very solid and many of them will be available before the next Bitcoin halving. The vibe I’m getting is like watching Ethereum projects such as Decentraland, Chainlink, and Matic(now Polygon) in 2019. Although ecosystem size and circumstances are completely different. And one of the biggest issues right now with DeFi is there are no stablecoins yet that are actually on the blockchain. And while Ardana, and COTI have stablecoins coming I think most people would like to see USDC at least.
