Somehow I survived the alt devastation (by having most of my money on Kaspa) so now I've taken the gamble on CKB. Sold my Kaspa at .16 and bought CKB at .098. CKB Lost 75% of the value it had two months ago, so if it even recovers half of that I'll be up 100% (technically 150% since I threw in a cheeky 1,5x margin). Am I being an absolute degenerate here? Usually I don't trade that often (been holding that Kaspa for over a year as well).

Hello people, i have a substantial amount of money in CKB. I didn’t sell it when i was a couple hundred percent up on my investment and now im wondering do i set a stop loss on my break even ? Im still 30% up and i don’t want to get rid of it but i don’t want to be waiting a couple years if it goes deep in red. So i guess the question is do you think it can drop another 30-60% from here?
I hold a small amount from the super early days (<$0.003) and have already made back my principle, so the rest is funny money, but I will admit it's been an interesting project to follow and read about. I kinda treat it the same as CKB and ERGO - I've got funny money bags and the tech is legitimately intriguing to read updates on once per month. If it flies any higher, cool beans, I'll filter that all back into broad market index funds and BTC/ETH. Neato.

Bitcoin is the obvious safe choice. Look at any chain that enables BTC interoperability, I personally hold CKB. It's a perfect L2 to Bitcoin, been around over 5 years now, already had its first halving last year, and an insane amount of development has been going towards joining CKB to BTC in the last 3 months. Effectively, the goal is to take all the valuable characteristics of ETH or SOL and secure them by BTC. Smart contracts on BTC, various proof sidechains on BTC, BTC interoperability, etc. Honestly, I see a lot of the projects that exist to compete with Bitcoin either dying off or joining Bitcoin in the next 8 years because their only reason for existing is that they can do what Bitcoin cannot. Imagine if they could be built on top of Bitcoin, not to compete, but to improve and expand the OG ecosystem. So yeah, CKB is my recommendation to you.

Launched from the AGIX Dao its the commuting layer for the ASI/AGIX AI project. And looking to get into Apex Fusion. Some eUTXO/EVM hybrid made by ex-Cardano devs. Good chance it finds itself as a partner chain to Cardano (I hope)

I guess my experience with alts is different then compared to most cos the only alt I have invested in is CKB and it’s deffo doing very well in this second cycle. I guess I got lucky.
Depends which altcoins you mean. Medium caps like CKB already did a big pump so are not so quick to recover, small caps like Hyve are in a long accumulation phase so are not so affected by overarching market trends.

What it looks like is kids who make crypto part of their identity getting triggered when hard truths are told. After 14 years there still isn't a decent usecase that couldn't be done easier in a centralised way. All crypto is at this point is a casino. And I'm cool with that because I bought CKB at .009 so you do the math on that while you HODL your shitcoins into the ground.

If you count from bear market bottom some alts might very well have 100x runs. PENDLE, INJ, AKT, RNDR, CKB, ONDO, etc. From this point you will probably have to get lucky with low market cap RWA, AI or meme coins.
