There are 2 parts to this process. 1. Connecting your wallet which contains your SSB/SWAP tokens. For this we recommend MetaMask, but do also support TrustWallet and WalletConnect. 2. Generating a Solana address to receive your new token next month. For this we recommend Phantom, but you can literally use any wallet you want, it's just for receiving.

If you swap eth at $3k for $3.5k of Bitcoin because eth appreciation in the time of the swap you owe taxes on the .5 and the swap is a taxable even. Short term and long term capital gain rules apply, but like I said every time you swap you are taxed as you create a taxable event. I have a number hot wallets as these are my go to for frequent interaction with my favorite L1s and L2s. Here is some tips to be safe. 1. Within in a hot wallet you can create multiple wallets as a mean to protect yourself from the accidental signing of a malicious transaction. 2. I have a designated hot wallet to onboard native tokens from a CEX and to SWAP on a DEX. My hot wallet is generally only connected to 1 DEX. From there I distribute the coins/tokens to my other wallets. 3. I have hot wallet for NFTs and send coins there to buy more. 4. I have a wallet used for interacting with staking apps and nothing else. 5. I have a number of "vaults" that are never connected to other apps. Ever. I have a vault for meme coins, a vault for long term or expensive nfts, a vault for staked coins, etc. Most of the value of my accounts are in the vaults. If I want to sell an NFT, it goes to my Hot NFT wallet. There are ETH OGs that have lost Millions in tokens or NFTs by being lazy and signing malicious transactions with all their eggs in one wallet.

What is great about crypto is that you go from one wallet to another one in 2 seconds... When It takes hours or days in TradFi. Right so as ETH is HIGHLY liquid the $3 or $3.70 I used to AQUIRE 10.3 BOND ~$3 each so totals $31 at time. But yes as I try swap back it shows how it’s negative impact price but WHY does it not tell us that it’s a Non high or LOW or Minus Price impact so we know it’s not really $30 ? Like can someone explain it in Layman terms why and or IF BOND became more LIQUID over time would it SWAP back to ETH or other coins that are highly liquid ? Thanks

yeah, i agree 100%. this is why i actually have more hope in Derpy/SSB token doing well than SWAP. I applaud the work David and team has done in SatoshiSwap, but I hate that its on BSC. I have no interest in BSC at all and so there is no reason for any utility on BSC when the only reason for utility there is to find other shitcoins. And the ability to fight against the bias in the minds of investors of BSC tokens is almost insurmountable at this point due to its horrible track record.

Btc and eth is definetly the safe bet, the downside is that you can't really count on crazy gains.. making x3-x7 on btc on next Bull run is already stretching it, while ivesting in something less popular that is also a good project like you name it (from top 100) a X10 is highly realistic. Okay they are more risky, but imo we're already past the riskiest bear, and i don't expect them to fall down like domino already. The only downside might be that if you look at past Bull runs people tend to first buy BTC and then SWAP to alts when BTC is near ath (Btc season usally comes before alt season)

Please go back and check and you will see the SSB platform has been on the roadmap for SWAP since day 1. We have given more than 20 regular updates on DEX progress over the last year and will continue to do so. This is a very rare update that doesn't touch on the dex as we're obviously focused on [SSB.io](https://SSB.io) with the beta coming up around the corner. If you have read recent updates you will see that we are also integrating the dex into [SSB.io](https://SSB.io) and also working on SWAP utility linked to [SSB.io](https://SSB.io). February is the month. Cannot wait for this and with some coordinated widespread marketing the DEX will be pushing it's competitors to the absolute limit. A multi billion market cap is not unreasonable in my opinion particularly when looking at some of the other DEXs that are out there, what MC they achieved and the state of their products which, in a lot of cases, is extremely limited. With a good product, good marketing, and engagement across the SSB brand followers, there is a reasonably chance of significant traction and growth, exceeding that of existing DEXs. Marketing is critical and should include some key areas: yahoo finance, Reddit, twitter, Google search ad services for particular keywords or phrases. It worked wonders for the likes of evergrow, it can work for SWAP. There may be other beneficial partnerships where SSB and SWAP can compliment others and vice versa. Safemoon immediately springs to mind. They've got a decent army to assist. Just a thought 😉 Exciting times coming very soon.

Very good update! I'm not too happy about SSB being the reward token. I didn't see a change of Blockchain which means selling those rewards to get more SWAP (as I'm sure many of us will want to do) is going to turn out costly. Everything else is fire!! We're on the right project, and SWAP will make many new millionaires.

I agree to some extent here. I was going to actually add an argument for why it would be negative but wanted to leave it up to the public here to answer this. So thank you for pointing it out. This is a issue. The biggest issue that it’s an asset and it is there for treated as one and for not having tax means more people will come to use it for the WRONG reasons. If it was to easy to not follow where funds come and go from Atleast the government can’t without taxation. Then the IRS is INTERNATIONAL. People think it’s USA only like FBI which it MOSTLY IS but it’s global. The IRS can knock on anyones door anywhere in the globe they just hire local law or other agency’s to find you. Anyway. That’s for big crypto or other tax evasion. NOTE: Pay your taxes slid you like it or not! Don’t be the one that gets stung big time it can hurt my dad didn’t pay tax for 4 years during the divorce and suffered a huge $120k fine for about $40k year and that’s not like profit that’s income as a builder carpenter. So yeah they will fuck you up. If YOU DO NOT PAY TAXES. People on welfare often don’t, youth often don’t, people on low incomes under the $18,600 odd minimum income per year (highest rate of unemployment allowance or payments including the disability pension/s) So some people earn $16.5k and can thus use the 2k Amount to fill with Crypto assets and NOT pay taxes Only Income tax if you TRADE a lot. That’s a taxable event if you just receive/buy BTC/Sats to an address and HODL you have no INCOME tax to pay. BEST METHOD. On any coin HODL. Or if you must SWAP TO BTC don’t swap to USDT or other stable unless you want stables in portfolio or already have them etc as they are usable and unique that they are stable.. anyway then many put that into BTC or other preferred investment or trade move. Then it’s double fees and double tax.. so beware less trades much better than many. Even though it’s 30-33% tax over all of you do less trades it’s less taxable events.. more events = more likely for a bad outcome same as for good outcome which pays for your tax.. anyway.. Yeah its a vit hard to use. But as i understand, it is buggy too. Such as: 1. Only gets operation signed if using metamask, doesnt respond or gives a weird error from e.g air gap, unstoppable and trust wallet (through wallet connect) 2. Asking for deposit amount again once i typed and clicked the "DEPOSIT BNB" button under the swap tab (bad ux, i have to inform it twice) 3. Deposit/swap button DOES FLIP BACK AND FORTH, i just checked it and realize its because of price fluctuation. If you cant cover the fee with deposit, the button flips back from "SWAP" to deposit, terrible, gross UX 🤢 4. Bridge is absolutely not working around here. Shows a spinning icon indefinitely You can check it yourself, those problems are there, if no one

Yeah, i might be dumb too. But there's a fact: Once you type the amount you want to deposit and clicks **DEPOSIT BNB**, a second box asks for you to do the same and has a binance order style "25%, 50%... etc." Selector. That's confusing, because i had already typed the anount i want to deposit, so why does it ask it again? Idk. That's how i sent all my bnb there, I was in the SWAP tab, i already had informed the amount to deposi, so i assumed the box in question was asking how much of that BNB i wanted to Swap
