Wanted to get the community's thoughts on memecoins. To me, memecoins are a new financial social game that crypto has invented. Memecoins are a way to speculate on culture, memes obviously, ideas, and even ecosystems (like Farcaster with $DEGEN). In a way it's kind of like a skilled based lottery too - with L2s/Solana/Lower fee chains - you can put $10-$100 bets and have uncapped upside with some downside protection I wonder though and would love to get this communities take, does this go on forever? Farcaster is a decentralized social media platform and Warpcast is the client/the app you would download from the app store to interact with it. Depending on where you live, sign up could be free or like $3-5. I'm in the US and it was free but they're experiencing huge growth right now so maybe they took those programs away. $DEGEN is the most popular community token on Farcaster and is currently doing an airdrop. After you connect a wallet with at least 10k $DEGEN to Warpcast, make 3 casts and wait 48 hours you will be activated for the airdrop. It's like a points system. Depending on your engagement you are given degen "points" to tip others and they can tip you. Your 10,000 tokens stay in your wallet and are never touched. At the end of the month you go to the degen website and claim your points for $DEGEN tokens, which is how I got a free $1,000. Degen also launched Degen Chain a few days ago but I'll stop there because everything on that chain is very early and as far as I know there's only 1 bridge. The nice thing about Degen Chain is the gas token is $DEGEN so transactions are cheaper than Base. Also note, the return trip from Degen Chain back to Base and other chains takes 7 days right now, so please don't bridge to Degen Chain unless you are fine with the 7 day window until other bridges are supported. So long story short, if you want to see what's going on with Farcaster, find Warpcast in the app store and create an account. If you want to do the degen airdrop you'll need 10,000 $DEGEN tokens and time to be active on the app. You said you used Kraken and so do I. I withdrew my ETH to a MetaMask/Rabby/Rainbow type of wallet on the Optimism L2 chain. I then bridged that ETH from Optimism to Base and used Uniswap to buy $DEGEN. I know what I said sounds very technical but research each bit on YouTube piece by piece. Once you start bridging and using a dex like Uniswap, it gets easier over time. Gecko terminal, base chain. Look for New coins, look for top volume, look for trendy/funny names. See if the liquidity is sufficient. See if the same addresses are the only ones doing the buying and selling (artificial volume and p&d red flags). Test tx, a few dollars, just to see if I can sell it (honey pot test), not just buy. Even with that, I've been burned. Liquidity gets pulled, and honey pots do happen. But I'm still heavily in profit. 3 out of 20 have worked for me. $DEGEN the most. I've made a killing on it, and it still isn't on any know CEX. Next 20 coins, maybe none work. But you gotta try a little. Gotta have some luck as well.

Brief review Aptos vs Solana I used Aptos in Jan 2023 and had a positive experience. I liked the wallet and my user experience felt like Solana. This week I returned to Aptos to see how it felt. **Sending from CEX to Wallet** Winner: Solana Bought $100 on APT on Coinbase and sent to Rise Wallet. Gas cost $0.11 and it took ~30 seconds for APT to show in my wallet. Sending USDC to Phantom wallet is almost instant. Winner: Solana **Wallet Experience** Winner: Solana Used the Rise Wallet on Aptos, one of the most popular wallets and used two NFT markets (BlueMove and Topaz).
