Thoughts about my portfolio

Seeing things unfold in two full crypto cycles has taught me to be patient. Seeing coins that were worth next to nothing in 2019 do 30-50x in 2021 made me realize just how important accumulating during the bear market is. That's why I’m buying and accumulating the likes of DOT, CARD, OCEAN, ETH, BRKL, BNB, etc at discounted prices.

How can the CEX platform be the best staking platform in 2022 with everything that's happening? Good luck to those who use it. I don't have to worry because my staking tokens ATOM, OCEAN, and EVMOS are better suited to the Dex platform.

Yeah that seems to be the case, LINK, BAND, OCEAN, ORE, oracles/data projects showed significant strength

>We might start seeing them used as digital proof of owner ship OCEAN is already doing this, they call it data NFTs. While it can be sold and exchanged, that's not the point of it. https://blog.oceanprotocol.com/what-is-a-data-nft-5804a2d88671

Mentions:#OCEAN

I think NFTs are cool and I am fascinated by how much is going on in that space. Some platforms are going a step further by featuring fractionalized NFT, Nested NFT, Data NFT, etc. A project like OCEAN protocol is already focusing on Data NFT because of its huge potential. Companies like Tesla understand that Data is the next gold and they are investing accordingly.

Mentions:#OCEAN

That would be playing too safe. You can decide to get into projects in smaller quantity at different levels. There are projects that look promising, even though we can’t call the bottom, we can buy at different levels. I am buying some web3 tokens like OCEAN, SYLO, QRDO and SWASH

I'll keep stacking BTC no matter what. In addition,  leveraging some low-cost assets such as OCEAN, ORE, and SAUCE to position for a market recovery.

The Mercedes-Benz data sharing platform, Acentrik was actually built using OCEAN data tech. Polygon token, MATIC is just the payment option on the platform.

Mentions:#OCEAN#MATIC

While big data is centralized in the hands of a few tech conglomerates, web3 has helped resolve this through projects like OCEAN to provide the opportunity for the average user to invest in and benefit from the future of data sharing.

Mentions:#OCEAN

Great move by OCEAN

Mentions:#OCEAN

I DCA, especially with big drops, and crashes. BTC, ETH, MATIC, ATOM, OCEAN. Hopefully wagmi :) Then I hunt airdrops, reinforced by the APT drop. Doing a couple of incentivized testnets, SUI, SEI, zkScroll etc.

The bear market offers investors a rare opportunity to buy at discounted prices. Most coins are 90% down from ATH, Imagine accumulating such coins right now and holding them for the long term. That’s exactly what I’m doing with the likes of BNB, DOT, OCEAN, MATIC, etc. I also get to earn passively while holding OCEAN by locking the tokens to earn veOCEAN.

MATIC, NEAR, CTSI, ATOM, OCEAN are all viable options to invest in and that’s in addition to bluechips like BNB and ETH.

I've had my own share of the bear market as well but nothing has deterred me from my initial plan of increasing my BTC, ETH, ATOM, OCEAN, MATIC and BNB holdings. These are going to be profitable during the next bull run.

BTC and ETH are probably 2 of the safest cryptocurrencies to invest in as a beginner. As time goes you can diversify into solid altcoins like MATIC, BNB, OCEAN, ATOM, NEAR, etc., depending on the size of your bag.

Layer 1s and 2s are going to be bullish during the bull run. I also believe data and AI based projects such as OCEAN and FET are going to do very well.

Mentions:#OCEAN#FET

Bear run is when you DCA into solid projects ahead of the next bull run. ETH and BTC are top 2 coins to DCA. ATOM, MATIC, OCEAN and BNB are the other coins I'm DCAing right now.

You failed to note narratives such as Crypto payments gateway, AI, Data Economy, and Data NFTs, all of which are strong candidates for the next bull run. Crypto payments are a hot trend right now, along with data economy projects like OCEAN.

Mentions:#OCEAN

While I will say DYOR, the only projects I can recommend are BNB, DOT, NGM, OCEAN, BRKL, etc. NGM because payment is still the holy grail of the massive adoption of crypto. My choice is e-money because of the transparency of the project. I think the quarterly audit by E&Y is something to speak of. Also, the sets of European stablecoins which are regulatory compliant shows how much of a gem the NGM is.

These are in no way lowcaps. ORE, UDO, OCEAN and ZIL are lowcaps with good prospects in the web3 and Defi community.

Either ETH, OCEAN, DOT, ATOM, or CTSI for me. The point is to invest in undervalued and fundamentally solid gems and be patient.

It does, but that doesn't mean it will all jump to the moon because of that. About being early, I'll say projects like BAND, DIA, LINK, OCEAN looks like they will make a moonshot but then, you are still early.

I learned how to use supervised ML techniques and regression algorithms to make price predictions and also made money using OCEAN data farming.

Mentions:#ML#OCEAN

ETH, ATOM, BNB, OCEAN, MATIC, FET, and DOT would be a no-brainer.

It has tanked significantly. I just had a look at coincodex and Delta and figured that I’m 79% down since ATH. I’ve resolved to buy more altcoins to reduce my average buy-in price. I’m also staking and farming the likes of BNB, OCEAN, ATOM, etc to earn passively. For OCEAN, I earn veOCEAN for locking OCEAN tokens.

The top 5 cryptos deserving of DCA now are BNB, SOL, $ETH, OCEAN, and MATIC. DCAing is a no brainier as it is the only way to reduce your risk during the bear market by reducing the average buy cost over time. Out of my top 5, I go harder on OCEAN for apparent reasons. Out of the 5, it has the lowest market cap and that reduces my risk in a way.

Lots of options in the market. Considering it's just $100, I'll just get OCEAN, lock it for veOCEAN for 2 years(50%), then use the veOCEAN to data farm. Probably throw in $10 each in BTC and ETH before that cos I can't resist the DCA.

Easiest pick would be OCEAN. It's unlokcinf a trillion dollar data economy and it's currently valued below $100m. The tech is being used in Mercedes Benz's Acentrik data marketplace, Gaia-X GEN-X network, etc.

Mentions:#OCEAN#GEN

I would go with low caps OCEAN DIA and DAFI because they are solid choices, and quite affordable. The projects are developing, but you can also earn passively via their systems. DYOR.

For me, it's been OCEAN, ETH, ATOM, MATIC, and BNB. They often seem to recover quickly after a bear market. So I usually DCA into them at the end of each month.

OCEAN and FET haven't had a proper bull run yet. I'm thinking that two will impress us during the next bull run with the projects now focusing heavily on adoption.

Mentions:#OCEAN#FET

I'm not interested in buying newer coins until maybe next year. I know they could potentially become some of the biggest gainers during the next bull run. My goal this year has been to increase my BTC, ETH, ATOM, OCEAN, MATIC and BNB holdings before then end of the bear market.

It's true that not all blockchain applications will survive the ongoing capitulation but utility driven ones like ETH, BTC, MATIC, OCEAN, ATOM, etc., are going to survive.

I think layer 2s and 3s are still very interesting with many Zk rollups like Zksync in the space. OCEAN is also very interesting with their tech stack used to unlock data for AI.

Mentions:#OCEAN

I'm still buying ETH, MATIC, BNB, OCEAN, and ATOM. I think these are very important projects for the Web3. I'm particularly excited about OCEAN, the tech is being used by Mercedes Benz a

For me, it's OCEAN. It's using the veTokenomics developed by Curve to make it safe with juicy APY and ensures no impermanent loss or rug-pull risk to the participant’s locked OCEAN.

Mentions:#OCEAN

I'd hate to see memes in the top 10 and would love to see more real and serious projects like OCEAN and CTSI landing there in the next few years. There is so much potential for L2s and Web3 projects.

Mentions:#OCEAN#CTSI

OCEAN's been pretty strong, just 20% down off from where it was last month. Really unfortunate FTX happened when OCEAN started flying. But it shows strength so good choice there.

Mentions:#OCEAN#FTX

I already mentioned OCEAN. You can also earn passively by exploring veOCEAN, psdnOCEAN, and data farming. Other fundamentally solid web3 projects worth mentioning include GTH, CARD, AIOZ, DIA, CTSI, etc. Cardstack is working on releasing web3 tools that facilitate its mainstream adoption, with the likes of Card Space and Card Catalog already in the dev phase.

Everyone is buying while having risk management in their minds. In the bear market, risk management is very important to avoid losing all your funds in rug-pulls or dead projects. The best game plan for me now is to keep DCAing as much as possible on projects I am totally convinced about. For example, OCEAN is probably at its lowest entry point now and I want to have a filled bag by the time the bull market is back. Usually, a data-driven web3 project would fly.

Mentions:#OCEAN

I'm more excited than concerned because of how different it will look in few years time. I'm excited because many undervalued projects right now such as ATOM, OCEAN, FET and ROSE could become the next big thing in few years time.

I got to 6 digits during last year's bull run. I'm hoping to exceed that and possibly reach 7 figures during the next one. Compared to last year, this year I have accumulated more BTC, ETH, OCEAN, MATIC, BNB and ATOM.

In still buying and holding ETH, BNB, OCEAN, ATOM and MATIC. I'm also staking ATOM and MATIC and the rewards are very good

There's no perfect time to invest in crypto. My startegy is DCAing into ETH, BNB, OCEAN, MATIC and ATOM as my top crypto bags for the next bull season.

I would put 75% in top coins like BTC, BNB, ETH, MATIC and ATOM. The rest I would put in low caps with fundamentals such as OCEAN, FET and ROSE.

I'm not sure about lending, but I believe staking will survive. Only projects with poor tokenomics will fail. Some projects employ the 've' method, which stands for voting-escrowed and has proven to be a successful concept that many projects have adopted. It is used by projects such as OCEAN (veOCEAN) to create a sustainable staking program.

Mentions:#OCEAN

I'm hoping for a good investment return after investing heavily in OCEAN, NGM, MATIC, ETH, and other cryptocurrencies. The next run will determine whether or not I will have financial freedom.

It's not advisable to tell everyone about your crypto investments. It's either they end up robbing you or condemn your action every time there is bad news about crypto. I've been holding ETH, BNB, BTC, and OCEAN for quite some time, and the only way they'll find out is on my next birthday if something bad happens to me. There a birth message via email to alert them.

CHZ and OCEAN have been very kind to me in this bear run strong projects

Mentions:#CHZ#OCEAN

Personally, I'd want to choose between the 2 oracles and will go for DIA since cap is lower and tech equally impressive. OCEAN is a must already, it had just started flying when FTX nuked everything. It will fly again, long overdue.

Considering I have a lot of those (except ADA), I believe the rest of my bags will fly highest too: SCRT, OCEAN, GMX, METIS.

Polygon remains a top tier crypto project accelerating the adoption of DeFi. They've had many top partnerships and developments this year. My favourites are Acentrik data marketplace launch and Gaia-X launch, both were deployed on Polygon and powered by OCEAN Protocol.

Mentions:#OCEAN

>So what is everyone buying and what are you holding through the bear market? I'm not buying anything for now. I'm holding BTC, ETH, ATOM, MATIC, EVMOS, DOT, OCEAN, and CTSI. I buy with DCA monthly. I believe my L2 bags \[Cartesi and Polygon\] will pay off massively, plus the projects are building despite the bear market, so that's a bullish sign, right?

No one knows what the next 100x exactly will be, but I see many projects conveniently doing that as we approach the bull run. My best bet is on Web3 because it features many futuristic projects with great use cases. I am bullish on FIL and OCEAN protocol. Building Acentrik; Mercedes Benz Data Marketplace on OCEAN is further proof of the project’s potential.

Mentions:#FIL#OCEAN

I will keep 30% in EEUR stablecoin DCA in case the market drops further. 20% will go into ETH, 15% will go into ATOM, 10% will go into OCEAN, which I will also use to participate in data farming, 10% will go into NGM, 10% will go into MATIC and 5% for degen into low cap gems.

I've never heard of any of these coins apart from Harmony and helium. Maybe trading them for Moons would be a better investment in the future. My strategy would be to swap them for MATIC, OCEAN and ATOM.

Okay, I agree with that list. But I wish it was a top 10 list. I'd love to see LINK, DIA, or OCEAN make the list for sure. The recent developments on those projects are insane. Definitely must-buys for me.

Personally, I think that there's no better time to accumulate BTC, and alts too. Those that are really worth it ofc. For me, those will be DIA, LINK, PIVX, BAND, OCEAN, there are a couple more too. Let's see where the market takes us.

Your first investment should be in cold storage. Then I envy you, cos it'll be easier for you to invest now than it is for many of us who are more scared considering we and our portfolios experienced the massive decline first hand. The saying "Be greedy when others are fearful and fearful when others are greedy" continues to be true, but very few of us actually apply it. I already have a couple tokens I'm still hodling, like ATOM, SCRT, OCEAN, MATIC, DOT, all staked actually, in OCEAN's case, mine is even locked for 2 years (but I get weekly rewards). Meanwhile I dumped a lot of projects, because I don't think they'll make it to the next bull run with substantial gains. Of course I might be wrong, but my point is to remember when investing, that not all projects will recover.

25% stablecoins (for future DCA), 25% BTC, 25% ETH, 25% Alts: MATIC, OCEAN, GMX, NGM, CHZ (World Cup around the corner).

100k is a lot of money and has to be spent wisely. I’ll DCA and spend half across fundamentally solid coins like DOT, OCEAN, CARD, BNB, etc. I’ll also stake and farm via veOCEAN and data farming.

Yes, cryptocurrency is inevitable. I'm not going to let the noise bother me. There are numerous developments in the crypto-verse, such as the development of the digital identity infrastructure for mobility with MoveID, which includes projects such as OCEAN, FET, PEEQ, and others. Even with the fud and crash, the development going on in the space is proving that crypto has a future.

Mentions:#OCEAN#FET

There's no right or wrong. I'm all up for the lowcaps, DIA, LINK, BAND, OCEAN, well, and ETH too tho. I honestly think there will make it out of the bear market, judging by the development in and around them. NFA tho.

Ocean has made good name for itself over the years by continuing to build and expand, even during the bear market. Wirex App announced the listing of OCEAN earlier today, adding to the long list of platforms that features Ocean protocol for users.

Mentions:#OCEAN

It's crazy that lots of people don't even understand but just conclude it's a shill🤦🏽‍♂️ Still a beginner data analyst so I've not participated in any data challenge yet, but I hope OCEAN keeps it going. They've opened many doors for data scientists to explore web3 data economy. >Another unique initiative are data challenges on finding trends in the historic price of ETH/USD, in order to build prediction models for the FUTURE price of ETH. Was legit discussing this with a friend yesterday.

Why do you still keep 50% of an asset you don't believe in? My bear market strategy is DCAing into ETH, BNB, MATIC, OCEAN and ATOM. Whenever I stop believing in an asset, I sell and move on.

ATOM excites me the most as an interoperable blockchain network. ETH, OCEAN and MATIC are my other favourite projects to keep an eye on for the future.

I believe it's due to the fact that they're not in the top 100 but that's not to say they don't deserve to be. Their tech speak for them. OCEAN has got it's data marketplace going for it. The tech is being used by Mercedes Benz and some other big names. FET is also involved with a number of big institutions such as Catena-X and Gaia-X.

Mentions:#OCEAN#FET

Yes, BTC and ETH remains the safest options in the market but I prefer to have a diversified portfolio that include other good projects such as MATIC, ATOM, OCEAN and BNB. I have other smaller bags too for short term plays.

I haven't stopped loading mine even with the recent events. My target this bear market is to have enough ETH, ATOM, OCEAN and MATIC before the bull run arrives.

It depends on how you look at it! If an investor is after quick profits it won't be worth it. But for long-term investors red is the color of opportunity so I don't think this kind of investor is stressed now. Don't forget, nothing lasts forever so in the end, we will see a cycle to reap the fruit of our patience. I enjoy accumulating more ETH, OGN, OCEAN, POKERFI Long story short, make a solid bag and forget quick profits! Continue to DCA & Stake to get ready for the next cycle!

I'm excited about the future of the data economy and crypto payment processors. This year, these two fields have grown a lot. I believe these 2 industries have a bright future, and I have investments in OCEAN, UTK, and NGM, which are all from these industries.

We are currently at that stage. Thanks for the reminder. I will add more OCEAN, ETH, and ATOM to my bag.

The dump was a blessing from above but not many people will take advantage of this. Check on-chain data, you see BTC being bought up all thru when the price fell. The question you want to ask yourself is, who is buying? why are they buying? what do they know about that we don't? Trying to catch the bottom is to try to catch a falling knife. I'll continue to buy LINK, DIA, & OCEAN even as they continue to dip.

If you can't hodl, you can't make gains. Your reason for selling should never be because "*It's all going to zero*". Algorand should come good, plus the WC is around the corner. XRP too is most likely to win their case. Everything is down now, time to buy not sell, I even added OCEAN, around 40% down from last week, for me this is a massive opportunity around the market.

Mentions:#XRP#OCEAN

I haven't heard that OCEAN got into NFTs. That's such a brilliant use case for NFTs. I think many more industries, projects, etc. will integrate NFTs into their system since their advantages are growing with every new day. For example, soon a poker-related project POKERFI will launch its NFT marketplace to enable these digital tools to boost both the online casino market and poker players' strategies. I wonder where else can NFTs be used!

After my third bear market experience, I learned not to FOMO! I buy some when it's red and take some profit when it's green and always leave USDT to seize the opportunities! Current bag for trade ADA, ETH, OCEAN, Long term bag OGN, VET, STEPN, POKERFI.

With the rate at which the market is falling and the rate at which I'm DCAing, I believe I may become an OCEAN, ETH, ATOM, or MATIC whale soon. I've been taking advantage of the downturns.

OCEAN and FET, I have not heard a lot about them, will look at that. MATIC and DOT are things that I use, I have high hopes for them. Thanks

BTC and ETH remains the go to coins. They may not provide the biggest returns but are the least risky plays. To diversify, I would add BNB, MATIC, OCEAN, ATOM, FET, DOT, etc., depending on the size of your capital.

This reminds me of ATOM and OCEAN. In my opinion they are both good coins but are hardly being talked about outside of their respective communities. Cosmos only got popular due to its price performance ahead of Cosmoverse but compared to many other higher valued coin, it has better utility.

Mentions:#ATOM#OCEAN

I agree, ATOM interoperability is revolutionary and will be big in few years time. Then there's Polygon (MATIC) which is already been used by a number of big names. Another one is OCEAN, a decentralized data marketplace. OCEAN is focused on unlocking the value of data at a large scale and it's already being used by top institutions. Mercedes Benz is using the tech to monetize enterprise data. ETH and BNB are the other 2 for obvious reasons.

I align with the first. I DCA at the end of every week and this week won't be different. I will pick up some ETH, ATOM, OCEAN and MATIC just as I have always done.

That's good decision as a beginner. I have all 3 in addition to ATOM, OCEAN, MATIC and other smaller holdings. To me these are some of the best coins to hold right now.

I won't recommend selling alts to BTC at this point especially if those alts are solid projects such as ETH, MATIC, ATOM, OCEAN, FET or BNB. This is a minor setback compared to what is to come.

ETH, LINK, DIA, BAND, & OCEAN for me. I think that those are incredible projects that will do awesome in the long term. You should keep your eyes locked on them.

I'm neither selling nor buying at the moment. I plan to monitor the market for another week while continue to stake stake and earn more ATOM, EVMOS and OCEAN.

My strategy is still the same. Buy the dip and stake. I was able to profit from the most recent pump. I plan to use it to DCA more into ETH, SOL, and ATOM, as well as to participate in the OCEAN Data Farming round 11, which begins tomorrow.

Selling is not even an option. That would be like shooting myself in the leg. With the market tanking, I'm adding more of my favorite and long-long bags like OCEAN, ATOM, BNB, MATIC, NGM, and EVMOS.

Hopefully it will be a lot easier in the coming months. For the foreseeable future, I will only be adding to my BTC, ETH, MATIC, BNB, OCEAN, and ATOM bags. The rest not so much.

My favourite ERC 20 tokens are ETH, MATIC and OCEAN. ETH is popular for smart contracts and DeFi, MATIC for scaling Ethereum, and OCEAN for data exchange. The only Bep20 tokens I have are BNB and CAKE.

Personally what I do with exchanges is buy tokens then move to my wallets. There'll always be crashes and there'll be subsequent recoveries. During crashes, crypto is scam and trash, during pumps, crypto is the future. It can be both at same time. For safety reasons, one should stick with btc and eth. Most of my active participation in crypto currently has very little to do with buying or selling. Learning, research, and occasional DCA or harvesting/compounding staking rewards. As my learning progresses, I'll start participating in OCEAN data challenges to hone my skills and hopefully stack up more OCEAN along the way.

Mentions:#OCEAN

If I wanted to sell, I could have done that a while back when my holdings were still in profit but in this bear, I can only DCA and wait for market recovery. The bull should be around the corner somehow. I am still bullish on data-related projects like OCEAN and FIL. For OCEAN protocol, the strategic partnership keeps coming with UNIQUID being the latest.

Mentions:#OCEAN#FIL

Let's talk about Retirement. I will accept some BTC, ETH, OCEAN, etc. for retirement for sure. The fact that I am hugely invested in OCEAN to have an early retirement says it all. I am looking forward to the massive adoption of Ocean protocol and Fringe Finance partnership because digital asset collateralization has a huge market waiting to be efficiently tapped into.

Sounds like a conspiracy theory and I can only hope that it exists. For now, I just follow real coins with sustainable use cases, preferably in Web3. For example, I have a lot of motivation to accumulate OCEAN because of the partnership with FringeFinance to make the collateralization of digital assets and lending rather easy.

Mentions:#OCEAN

I'm holding my CTSI, MATIC, ETH, and OCEAN positions \[Might add more\]. SOL isn't doing so badly when compared to FTT. \[-72% now\]

Let it play out... What just happened is a testament that you're better off doing nothing in this market. Glad I like my OCEAN for veOCEAN, I might have panic-sold instead I bought the dip on support.

Mentions:#OCEAN

Payments is a huge one, but decentralizing solutions are also very important in my opinion. Blockchain can be leveraged to usher in a better data economy and help us truly own and monetize our data like OCEAN is doing.

Mentions:#OCEAN

I choose projects based on the team, development, use cases, partners and long term potential. Projects such as ETH, BNB, OCEAN, ATOM and MATIC check all the boxes for me.

I don't know about most of these, I would have to dmor. Low caps can be a good investment, you just need to research the project well. The unique technologies that contribute to the space always stand out. I mostly add DIA UTK OCEAN and DAFI.
