VARA, RUNE(VeTHOR) VeChain are long-haul investments. Solid assets and backed by strong fundamentals, these are not boomtown assets.
Hope not, I'm a RUNE bagholder
RUNE, and I know fuck all other than I am good at detecting lows from charts across a number of periods and now the upside is way higher than downside.
Try RUNE because it's like 1/6th of the price it was a month ago, great dip
That was just example, of course its combination of all these memecoins. And yes I am aware of RUNE, after the insolvent rumors they going down down down. A lot of projects like that just die down
To a degree yes. But there are shit coins which recovered faster just because they are more volatile. And RUNE because it collapsed over the last few weeks so it has drawn in a lot of traders
nobody doing "just buy the dip" "what is this, a dip for ants?" "god yall are so whiny" posts for that RUNE dip.
Yup. Some RUNE shill on X even said "If you don't buy RUNE here, you don't like money." 🙄🙄🙄🙄
RUNE down ~80% ever since they paid for banner and held an AMA here. RIP to anyone who got shilled on that day.
RUNE doing a LUNA right now ?😅
Jesus what happened to RUNE the last 2 weeks?
They are insolvent from what I read and have to figure out a way to fix it I wouldn't touch RUNE.
Distance from a high ≠ potential to grow. The market tells you it values RUNE now 70% less than 3 months ago. It would be nice to know why & if that reason was addressed.
Im contemplating buy some RUNE. Its about 70% down since 3 months ago. What do you think?
RUNE is doing my nut in man
I’m stacking up on AI and DeFi projects in this dip having serious long-term potential. ETH/BTC looks decent but not crazy strong, so I wouldn’t go all in there. Still, having some ETH and SOL in the bag is always a smart move For AI, I’m looking at Fet, Render and OCEAN (merging into ASI soon). For DeFi, AAVE, RUNE(most discounted currently) and INJ are solid plays. And for ETH-based projects, Link, ENS, and ARB stands out for me
>Nothing I said was wrong. You can use grok or chatgpt or google it. okay, let's do just that. I asked chatgpt: "Bitcoin can't have smart contracts" please evaluate this claim. Answer: The claim **"Bitcoin can't have smart contracts"** is **mostly incorrect**, but it depends on what is meant by "smart contracts." # 1. Bitcoin Does Have Smart Contract Capabilities Bitcoin has a scripting language called **Script**, which allows users to create conditions for spending BTC. While not as flexible as Ethereum’s Solidity, Bitcoin’s scripting system still enables various forms of smart contracts, such as: * **Multi-signature (Multisig) wallets** – Funds require multiple private keys to be spent. * **Time-locked transactions** – Funds are locked until a certain time (e.g., Lightning Network HTLCs). * **Atomic swaps** – Trustless exchange of BTC for other cryptocurrencies. * **Taproot & Tapscript** – More advanced spending conditions and efficiency improvements. # 2. Bitcoin's Limitations for Complex Smart Contracts Bitcoin’s scripting language is **not Turing complete**, meaning it lacks loops and general-purpose computation. This makes it harder (but not impossible) to create complex decentralized applications (dApps) like those on Ethereum, Solana, or Polkadot. However, Bitcoin Layer 2 solutions, such as: * **RGB Protocol** (smart contracts using Bitcoin UTXOs) * **Stacks (STX)** (smart contracts anchored to Bitcoin) * **RUNE (Thorchain)** (decentralized exchange mechanisms) ... enable more sophisticated smart contracts while still relying on Bitcoin's security. # 3. Conclusion Bitcoin does support **basic** smart contracts, but it is not designed for **general-purpose** smart contracts like Ethereum or Solana. However, with innovations like Taproot and Layer 2 solutions, Bitcoin is expanding its smart contract capabilities. Thus, the claim **"Bitcoin can't have smart contracts"** is **wrong**—Bitcoin has smart contracts, but they are more limited compared to Ethereum and other blockchains that are designed for that purpose.
I’m in something like 35 different projects, some are up decent but I didn’t have as much as I would have liked in them. XCN has me up big with a lot of room still to grow. Ya, some of the tech is interesting, but I’m here for money. So I like some long shots here and there. SPELL, Rubic (RBC), RUNE, ZEUS, MXC. Sure I looked at the tech while picking them, but growth potential, low market cap, down +90% from ATH, sometimes just a cool name, things like that are how I really pick them. I don’t invest huge amounts in them and nothing I can’t afford to lose or just let sit there for a couple years. Tech’s cool, but emotion and fear are what truly drive this ship, if you can leave both of them at the door, you can make some good money.
FTM, RUNE, INJ and COTI all a bargain right now
Bottom should be in soon! Buying more $BTC $ORDER $RUNE
RUNE undervalued, more volume than Uniswap, RUNE mc only $2b while UNI is $10B. Also Bitcoin beta. Bought moreeee
SOL,RUNE,AVAX,AR and THETA,ZIL,TEL are my shitcoins
I like more RUNE same concept of ADA but stronger investor base
Safe options for 2x is ADA and TRX. more risky options for 3-6x is thorchain RUNE and IOTA. IM BULLISH AND ALL IN IN THOSE 4 COINS. gl yo what ever u buy
Top 3 are BTC, ETH, ADA but I hav, bags of LINK, RUNE, STELLAR, BNB, etc
We may not see a new all time high this cycle or only a small one. 2 or max 3 x's away from here. Look at the top. SOL already run, way too expensive now. Doge already run. Cardano and Xrp already run imo. Why not choose something like RUNE?
Alt coins: ADA TRX Thorchain RUNE IOTA
This is amazing and how Bitcoin can help all of us… PLEASE CONSIDER LOOKING INTO THE BITCOIN RUNE (DOG GO TO THE MOON) it could really be another chance to accumulate a good amount of btc over the next 1-10 years its prices right now is .0079 cents and it’s fairly distributed and decentralized JUST LIKE BITCOIN and its a token ON the Bitcoin BLCOCKCHAIN itself! NFA DYOR 🧡🧡🧡🧡🐕🚀🌕
Alts RUNE and NEAR , and for meme PINO
First time up on my RUNE position since march .. lol
3 of my biggest positions are ADA, SUI and KAS 😎 Waiting for SEI , RUNE and ATOM to join
https://i.redd.it/vs3ht8vij10e1.gif 50% LOL some alts are going 5000%! Is this your first time? It is crazy in BOTH directions. I remember when my $RUNE went from pennies to a $1. I sold most of it and still think about that. From where I bought it till now? 39000%. I also had 100k of $DOGE because that is what Reddit used to throw around for tips and fun. The first time Musk spoke about it I dumped it all because I was up 400% Had I sold near ATH that would have been 80k$. That one still bothers me as well. So while I try and tell myself "be happy with 15%" and I am. Unless you need the cash... Take profits. Save a moon bag. Putting profits in to BTC is not a bad idea either.
I ran 4k>16k>400k>42k>6k, back up to 58k. 2016, 2018, 2021. Had I just stuck with Bitcoin instead of the joke tokens… Just buy ETH, sol, btc. dCA 5-10$/day if you can and don’t look back. May still find some gems but memes are imminent exit liquidity for others… consider RUNE, CACAO.. stay away from almost rest
RUNE showing Alts arent dead
RUNE/RUJI for defi. ICP for web3 and AI
I was dollar cost averaging down and some of my alts are now turning into profit :) FET, XRP, RUNE, and a few others are in the green for me. A few are down as well, same with some bitcoin miners. Not "relaxed" yet since the markets can go any direction, but fun to give me a bit of dopamine finally.
Today's events MATIC POL migration EOS Spring v.1.0 Release RUNE Hard Fork Upgrade FLOW Crescendo Network Upgrade HBAR Testnet Upgrade
Only if you invested in these in the last year, they outperformed BTC or kept up with it: Solana, HNT, BNB, NEAR, MKR, and RUNE.
I sold just a third of my bag and splitted between RUNE, INJ, NEAR Didn't leave completely just in case
I am personally in the process and getting rid of all my shit. Matic, quant, DOT. Comverting then all to ETH, BTC, SOL, and a gamble in RUNE
I’m going to shill you coins but with reasons. 1. Thorchain- because the ticker for it is #RUNE and when the rune protocol becomes fashionable people will flock to Thorchain by mistake. 2. Arweave- because despite being not that much different to a bunch of other projects, it fills a gap that can be filled by any one of a number of projects but has a couple of big names 3. Bitcone- there’ll be a meme coin comes from nowhere and it’s got a loyal community. 4. Dogwifhat- because the mention might already be here. Disclosure. I own one of these already and will be buying the rest when BTC hits 100k
It's high in my opinion but I've been proven wrong many times, this is crypto after all. I'm just considering that things like RUNE, INJ and GRT have half that Market Cap. RNDR has a similar one. Maybe I'm old school but I think those are projects with more potential returns (from this point on)
It's ok to have older projects if they keep developing and keep reinventing themselves like FTM RUNE STX SOL and plenty more
This is proof that you do not own your crypto within your CEX account. Just numbers that will be calculated at the lowest value. That's why I only use DEX #THORChain ( $RUNE )
Your on point. I had alot of SUI and swapped into RUNE for the time being to see how it rides out the unlocks.
#THORChain ( $RUNE ) BTS saving
I have been in the crypto world for 4 years. The only project I invested in and actually used was..the DEX #THORChain ( $RUNE )
Stuff like: Offering alternate versions of blockchains (ADA, DOT) Inter-chain operability (LINK, ATOM, RUNE to name a few) Decentralized Fianance (ETH, ADA, DOT, etc.) Cleaning up data on blockchain (GRT, Arweave kind of?) Moons is earned (or formerly earned) by shitposting anf getting popular posts/comments. Its really no different than a shitcoin on solana.
Good luck with meme projects y'all are jumping into. Be sure to enter early and have an exit strategy for them. I'm more into utility projects like ENA, RUNE, BONUS, and others that can potentially give me 20-50x returns. whatever the preference, what's more important is making the profits.
RUNE, BONUS, and ENA tops the list of alts I'm investing in
Any other chain I have used? ETH, Matic, BNB, SOL, LTC, BTC. They all are single operation chains. On ADA if i want to move every coin and NFT in my wallet I can select them all and hit send. RUNE is multi chain but because it has to interact with the other chains it is oly as fast as they are. Are there other chain out there that you can vote with? I mean IDK. but so far ADA is the most efficient chain to use to do a bunch of various things while other chains excel at doing 1 thing well.
PePe already did 10x , IMX did 8x , RUNE did 6x
I'm not in a rush on 111$ $RUNE price
THORChain ( $RUNE ) DEX
Focus on altcoins $ADA, $SFUND and $RUNE, hope these altcoins will hit all time high this year
I bought $200 of RUNE at $1.50 average price last year because the internet said it was good. Internet did good for once. ICP I have 50 of. It’s like 2% of my portfolio but I do like what they’re trying to do.
Can you buy RUNE on a DEX like uniswap? If so, what's the contract address?
RUNE GALA and ROSE reckon that's pretty safe but profitable.
My friends followed me into the world of crypto... I made a profit to buy a Land Rover... and my friends lost because they invested in animal currencies. This was 2021... and since 2023 I've been talking about buying $RUNE indirectly... Only when the price went up 9x did they start asking me if they would buy. My answer was: I will stay in the market to make more profits, but I am not afraid of any declines, even 50%.
Coinbase yield 5% on USDC. chainge finance self custody.. with yield... RUNE..
I won't give too much investment to VeChain, same for ADA. Channelling my investments to lower caps, like DIA, RUNE, RNDR, etc.
I sold some $RUNE at $11 to yeet onto some memes, then $RUNE dumped to $8. I am stonks king.
Stick it in RUNE, that flies when the bulls run.
Already added to my main bags, might get some RUNE and an AI coin if we go further down.
Down 10% from RUNE and ETH today🥲🥲🥲, is the only solution now to hold?
I'm not familiar with the RUNE tokenomics, but omni-chain liquidity in general has a bright future.
Am one of the rare souls whose all in alts. My bag consists of 50% ETH, thn CKB>RUNE>SOL Also some moons & roy & cacao (moved a bit of RUNE profits here today) now. How about you?
BTC and RUNE only pairings I care for these today. Some alone and some together in a Thorchain LP
Many crypto start out as a token and eventually become a native coin. Often (maybe usually) there is a bridge to help swap assets. RUNE ERC20 (and also BNB chain) is deprecated. And it might even be worthless now! See here: [https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2022/07/19/thorchain-phases-out-support-for-rune-tokens-on-ethereum-bnb-chain/](https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2022/07/19/thorchain-phases-out-support-for-rune-tokens-on-ethereum-bnb-chain/)
Oh fair enough. I didn't know that. I looked up Thorchain but not RUNE. So OP could have bought the wrong one. Might delete my comment as it's wrong and not helpful. Was just responding as nobody else had.
Thorchain has its own blockchain and RUNE is the gas and accounting token for it. It used to have erc20 and bep20 equivalents but these were deprecated. Exchanges might still use them but thorchain does not support them.
Thorchain has its own blockchain with its coin RUNE. All other tokens like erc20 or bep20 are no longer being supported, best thing you can do is buy RUNE via thorchain using your bitcoin/ethereum/doge/ltc/bch/avax wallet. You can generate a thorchain wallet on your ledger if you have one.
1800 RUNE total fees, 0.03% slippage. So about 0.3% of costs in total. Pretty big but still insane they can do such a big streaming swap with such low slippage
I see. I might just put in the smallest bag from the littlest profit I booked from RUNE. (Hoping its on Binance 😭)
Nobody mentioning the RUNE pump? Fine I will do it. RUNE going crazy finally leggo!
Laddering out of everything except BTC/ETH/SOL when price targets are met (in most cases at 80% of ATH). Keeping smaller bags of RNDR/AVAX/LINK/MATIC/RUNE/AR. I’m not keen on watching $400k turn into $90k again.
Kadena is my long term hold. Do some research into it and you will see, they solved the "trilemma" for one. They have some very interesting solutions to our everyday problems with crypto, look up "Spirekey". Plenty to look forward to. ATH is around 28$, currently around 1.30$. But don't just take my word for it, there is plenty of information out there. I'm not going all in, but steadily adding to my bag and patiently waiting. Also RUNE is my second hold, it's fundamentally sound and def worth some attention. But as we all know DYOR. That's it for now.
CACAO is a friendly fork of Thorchain at a fraction mcap of RUNE. ALL 100M CACAO are already fully circulated. No VC and no premine of tokens.
Done accumulating but my portofolio is $ETH $LINK $KAS $RUNE $PNDC $PORK
Tough to say. It's one of those coins (including LINK, SOL and AVAX) that pumped the hardest during the BTC ETF rally. But it could just be because the coins that pumped the hardest during that rally were the coins that were shorted the most, which also happened to be the coins that had the most utility (apart from AVAX, which IMO sucks). I personally don't hold any RUNE at the moment (been buying and dumping for profit recently), but it's certainly one I'm open to buying again ... personally. NFA
RUNE seems promising, TVL and volume looks good
Thoughts on RUNE? I bought a huge bag back in 2021 at near top 😭 recently had a good run but am still in red. Shall I let go and book my losses or there is still hope for me to make my money back
Love to see $RUNE ath before halving
tldr; In the last 12 hours in the crypto world, several significant events occurred: Across protocol announced the launch of its V3 mainnet, Yuga Labs acquired Proof Collective, Clearpool Prime's TVL doubled with new loans, Thorchain announced a burn of 60M $RUNE to boost lending scalability, and a 100-200M incentive for Arbitrum gaming was proposed. Additionally, various IDOs, product launches, and potential airdrops were announced, highlighting the dynamic and rapidly evolving nature of the cryptocurrency sector. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. As always, DYOR.
The ones that have pumped the most recently like LINK, SOL, RUNE. I would say AVAX, but can't stand it.
Thorwallet is another for RUNE, Maya protocol’s CACAO, too.
THORChain ($RUNE) There is an option called saving. Read about it.
Today I have zero dollars in CEX. 100,000 transfer between currencies using DEX like THORChain ($RUNE)
2023: RUNE (+221% from purchase) 2024: ZF (+61% up since Jan 1st)
If this isn’t a bounce, RUNE is good for making some money but be careful, DYOR - the coin is volatile as hell and can move in huge swings. I picked some up during this dip, but I mainly bought up SOL and AVAX. If someone is new to RUNE, I recommend buying on the dip of your candle setting and then a stop-loss somewhere just above entry, because it can go up 20% in a day but won’t stay there all day… like I said, crazy volatility
$RUNE & $RNDR both juicy buys 🤞🏾
Lmao brother, stop kidding yourself and read what this blockchain has done. It’s “tech” is hella inconsistent and has gone down multiple times. It’s massively centralized and very few entities own an insane amount of the supply. It’s crazy to see people this delusional just because they made some money on a fuckin coin going up. I made a boatload of cash on RUNE last cycle but it’s a garbage project. This thing is only propped up from the FTX debacle. Get out while ya still can mate. Or don’t, I don’t give a shit what you do with your money lol.
