Well why RUNE is holding up.. Any news?

Mentions:#RUNE

Nope. Things don't work that way, unfortunately. LOL. 5% signifies practically nothing. But that's not to say it's not good time to DCA into your fav projects; I'm also doing that with a couple of DeFi projects like RUNE, DAFI, & BIFI. The development around these projects has been insane if you ask me.

You are absolutely correct about that. Not your keys, not your cryptos had basically been the slogan since the start of crypto itself. And the warning that you shouldn't keep more than you can afford to lose on exchanges has been an anthem as well. There's basically no token I hold, DIA, DAFI, RUNE, ETH, or BTC that I have on exchanges. I only hold USDT on finance, just a little too. Something to buy on a project in an emergency if I see the need. Nothing more.

I still do low caps, and majorly into DEFI so I can easily stake them. BIFI, RUNE, DAFI, all looks good to me. I just accumulate them. When we start to pump, I'll be taking profits into BTC or ETH.

I’m really thinking about investing in RUNE, because this space needs a reliable Multi-chained decentralized exchange. Not sure if it’s reliable though due to prior hacks. My god, I hope it gets stronger.

looking at Web 3 projects like $ROSE $RUNE $MATIC . very good fundamentals with large companies behind them that can withstand a bear market

RN, I'm down 0.78% on my LINK, DIA, DAFI, RUNE, and PIVX portfolio. I think I've done pretty well in this bear market. Let the rally begin please.

Y'all sleeping on RUNE and Thorchain. An actual DEX with real, sustainable yield.

Mentions:#RUNE#DEX

I really need to find time to look into RUNE. Keep seeing it mentioned.

Mentions:#RUNE

I can't say it is, and neither can I say it's not. Anyone coming into the crypto space should know that there are risks attached. So, if you choose to, thread with caution. Personally going in on these, DAFI, BIFI, RUNE, and a couple of other DEFI projects as well. However, not with what I can't afford to lose.

Well, I don't know how I'll get 100K, but let's say I do get that much, I'll go for BTC & ETH for sure, some defi projects like BIFI, DAFI, TETU, RUNE, etc. I think they will bring the best returns over time.

I’ve heard RUNE before, any luck with it?

Mentions:#RUNE

I see fire all around but I'm still buying to stake DAFI, BIFI, and RUNE as much as I can. Just be careful y'all. Only path with what you are willing to lose only.

Well, I salute your courage, I'd have looped out the second month. But unfortunately, I've been in the space for a couple of years, seen another bear market, and made all the mistakes possible in that one, so I'm kinda confident that we'll rise again at some point and hence, my reason for buying still. I'm just playing around with some credible alts like MATIC, DOT, DAFI, BIFI, RUNE, and some other Defi projects too because I think we'll have increased use of Defi during the next run.

ATOM, RUNE, and... I don't know. Check THORChain out. You'd be mind blown.

Mentions:#ATOM#RUNE

I've factored that in. But also know that no one knows the bottom. I'm also carefully DCAing into DAFI, RUNE, & LINK too. Hopefully, we'll get some LINK staking soon, before EOY. LFG!

I had same doubts back in the last bear market but never regretted buying in small chunks and also holding back up. I can tell you for sure, it's not easy. But it's doable. RN, DAFI, RUNE, etc, I mean those stakable tokens look like my moonshot potential.

It will be the year of interoperability - LINK, QNT, ATOM, DOT, & RUNE

It's absolutely realistic and possible. Remember, a dollar today is worth more than a dollar in the future. With that said, many projects **will** do a 10x twice in the future (not in the next 3 weeks). I understand how this may seem to you, but I'd argue you've only been through one cycle. When you live through a couple, 10x becomes normalized. My picks for 100x in a decade? RUNE & ATOM. My picks for 100x in a century? BTC & ETH. Yes, you've read that right. **Explanation**: when a loaf of bread costs $10k, a $2m BTC is not that uncommon.

Thank you! I spent a lot of time designing and refining the charts to be informative and (hopefully) aesthetic. At one point RUNE was doing rather well! In August, it had a total return of nearly 24%! How things can change so quickly....

Showing signs of maximalism! I still have holdings in projects I like, such as ETH, RUNE, ATOM, CRO... Btw, what does my flair show? I don't know how to interpret it...

I've been lurking for a while on discords for Maker, Aave, and Compound and I wanted to participate in DAO governance. The cadence of activity in Maker felt best to me. AAVE was busier and Compound was slower. Maker also has this crazy proposal from RUNE called the End Game Plan. It's crazy to see RUNE in the discord posting and responding as well, he is basically the Elon Musk of Maker. And by following along in the Maker forum it's really fun to read the proposals coming in from Coinbase (tldr they want Maker to give them 1.6B USDC for 1.5% interest return), Gemini (Tyler Winklevoss throwing out a proposal), and others. I even joined the call between Maker and Coinbase CFO, Alesia Haas where she answered questions from Maker community on their proposal. Lastly, I realize I've been a bit of a Reddit Maximalist and wanted to get out of the silo here. These DAOs have an incredibly diverse and intelligent group of participants.

I bought 300 RUNE today. I have not lost anything yet.

I like throwing actual money to try things out. Do fully understand what you mean. :) What motivated me to write the response is that it's somewhat framed like ThorChain (or ThorSwap, which is just an interface) fooled you into doing something you didn't intend to. Also, it was not a stablecoin LP, but BUSD/RUNE pool. The ThorChain network, its APYs, or documentation have literally nothing to do with your loss. It's all about depositing in a RUNE pool in a wrong time. And why do I care? RUNE is a future top 10 coin, so I want to clarify that it is an amazing project now, in the bear market. That way, all of us who investigated it can fill up our bags cheap and enjoy the life changing performance in the next 5 years. :)

Mentions:#BUSD#RUNE#OP
r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

Time to take responsibility. In your post, you're saying that one must be familiar with Thorswap to understand what happened, but you are the one that's unfamiliar with how ThorChain liquidity providing works. You didn't "stake" anything. You put your money in a LP (liquidity pair) between BUSD and RUNE. All pairs on the ThorChain protocol are between an asset and RUNE. You chose to deposit a single asset which is equally divided into both of these cryptos. So your losses come from the underperformance of 50% of your investment. TLDR: When you provide liquidity, you're exposed to both assets from the pool.

Mentions:#BUSD#RUNE

They need to integrate the chain (and coin/token) independently of IBC if they want a pool to be available, which is what enables swaps to happen. Everything is paired with RUNE in the pools which is what contributes to RUNE's deterministic price. Bifrost is used to observe each chain and stitch it all together, enabling IBC would bypass most of what makes TC work.

Mentions:#RUNE#TC
r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

It seems like it would because pools for other cosmoverse coins would be possible. My understanding is that Thorchain should be valued at at least 3x the coins on its network. More coins should mean more value for RUNE. I don’t see how it would make sense for anyone to trade EVMOS -> ATOM -> RUNE -> BTC. It just seems inefficient. EVMOS IBC to Thorchain to buy BTC makes more sense.

Well, it already surpassed $2000 and I do not think that there's a ceiling at $2K. If there was a ceiling, I'll say it was in 1784. But RN, I think ETH is due for a retracement. On the dip, I'll go to stack up my best bags; RUNE, 1INCH, DAFI too. Especially now that there are some fundamentals pushing DAFI, I mean the v2.1 update on the way, the possible addition of the Solana & Elrond chains, and so on. I'm legitly excited about what's to come.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

You've done well to have some funds in stables, even if we hit new ATH, please have some stables. Trust me, it's a lifesaver. Whether we hit a bottom or not, that's a very big question with an uncertain answer. But do we have a local bottom for now? I'll say yes, at $18,626. No one hopes to go down there again. But I think $25K ish is a strong barrier and a close above that could signal further buys up to $33K. We'll see how that plays out in few days to weeks. However, I'm not too bothered about BTCs price, low caps like RUNE, and DAFI catches my interest rn. Rune, I entered at a much lower price and in profit. DAFI still looks bearish, and ofc, when do you buy? When the market is down. Accumulating a lot of DAFI rn.

To FOMO isn't a problem, to buy an overbought token is. LOL. You'll most likely sell low. Learn to study and understand the charts yourself. ETH is doing awesome, but unless you bought it when it was $1k or below, I don't think you should buy rn. RUNE is another one I have my eyes on. Also got a substantial amount. I think a solid close above $3.08 could lead us to $7 pretty soon. Chainlink and DIA will be the most promising for me. I can enter both blindly based on fundamentals. The Chainlink staking is a big deal to me. And so does the growth of the DIA DAO. It's been exponential and I expect the value to follow soon.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

I'll say both. Accumulating and just holding isn't what I love doing. Why not earn some more passive income on tokens I hold. That's why I do go for projects I can stake or provide liquidity with. That way, I get max returns. RUNE and DAFI are my top holds. I can easily stake them. I'll keep getting passive income on my staked tokens. Even better, now that DAFI is introducing the v2.1 update with even better rewards. Solana staking coming soon. Rumoured Elrond chain staking (not confirmed tho). I'm hyped tbh.

>Selling fiat to buy crypto is not a taxable event. I'm not saying it is a taxable event, of course it's not. My accountant said the tax department KNOW I purchased crypto, that trigger her to ask for me to provide any records if I SOLD any crypto (which is a taxable event). Most of my purchases at the time was AUD > DOT then transfer DOT out to international CEX's to buy whatever crypto I was really wanting to buy. So say I sold DOT > RUNE, the taxable event is then the profit/loss on DOT price between when I purchased DOT and sold DOT. Say DOT was $5.20 when I purchased and $5.80 when I sold, the profit would be $0.60 and that creates a taxable event.

However, I also think that in the long term, we might see lower prices, or test recent lows and head up from there. Honestly, I'm not bothered about the market direction. Been DCAing on the market for a while now. Majorly into ETH, RUNE, DAFI, and almost 40% up with recent pumps even with the whole bear market thing.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

Are you kidding me? It's an expected one for me. We are already oversold on the larger time frame and we needed the relief. Well, this won't be an argument some months back, but it's coming to the open that something is wrong with that aspect of Defi after projects like Celsius collapsed. From the beginning, I've had little to no interest in lending and borrowing. Yield farming appealed better to me; a better and effortless way of making passive income. You can see platforms like Thorswap and Dafi protocol doing well. BTW, RUNE & DAFI are up 20% and 5% today respectively.

Common now, they are in some sort of gains, why do you want them to sell. They won't be long term holders if they sold anyway. A couple of my long-term assets however are LINK, RUNE, and DAFI. I think I'll be holding those for a couple of decades if possible. The staking incentives available for them are quite impressive, especially that of DAFI's.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

I want to disagree that the surge was as a result of the upcoming merge. I think we were due for a pump anyway, from it's looks on the daily chart, and it happened just at the right time. I also have my eyes on RUNE, 1INCH, and DAFI. Altho they've not made that breakout yet, I know they'd catch up and go strong. If there's any token that's pumping based on fundamentals, it's MATIC. Have you checked the chart today? Almost a 20% gain. That's massive.
