Perhaps we will find ourselves changing digital currencies when traveling to each country... for example, France $EGLD Brazil $HTR ... So we need a DEX like THORChain ($RUNE)

If THORChain had Bitcoin's market cap of $537.4B, 1 RUNE would be worth $1,787.09, an upside of 1275x ... Wow...it says X not %

1. Was buying Bitcoin in 2017 2. Was buying Ethereum in the $100-$300 range 3. Decided not to stake it for a measly 4% yield 4. Was selling Ethereum in the $3000-$4000 range 5. Made a 20x on MM 6. Made 4-5x on XLM, ALGO, TZX, BCH, and a few more 7. Accumulating ATOM, RUNE, AR, OSMO, GMX, and a few more 8. Enjoyed Cosmos airdrops during the bull market 9. Recently qualified for the Arbitrum airdrop 10. Life is good.

some of my list of weird (still not sure what will survive, but I am out of these now: XTZ, FLOW, KLAY, KAVA, RUNE (oh god, runeee), NEM/XEM (got myself bunt there), SXP (did some tiny gains there in 2021), SAMO, GO, SYLO, EXF (lol, a nice dex learn there), BBOO, OCTA, ....

If my portfolio goes to even, I'd be in a massive loss. Life changing loss. Who am I, you might ask? * Someone who accumulated Bitcoin since 2017 * Someone that was buying ETH between $100 and $300 * Someone who refused to stake ETH * Someone who was selling ETH between $3k and $4k * Someone who watched TechLead on YouTube and bought MM when it launched to do a 20x within a week and sold it all * Someone who delegates ATOM for a while and enjoyed plenty of amazing airdrops * Someone who is receiving the Arbitrum airdrop next week And much much more! Currently accumulating: BTC, ETH, RUNE, ATOM, AR, GMX, OSMO, MATIC, BOO, SPIRIT, and considering a few more. Good luck to everyone in the red!

What are your thoughts on RUNE? It's not too far off its cycle low, might be worth getting a small bag around these prices at some point.

This is how I do it: I buy projects whose utility I like. Apart from BTC and ETH, these include: ATOM, RUNE, AR, MATIC, and a few more.

Nice! I love RUNE, plan to get some HBAR at the end of this month, MATIC, AR, HEX, BOO and SPIRIT as well. I also just bought some CryptoGPT as it launched today or so. Let's see how it goes :)

Fully agree. Two examples from my side: I bought SPA (Spartacus Finance) because it was a OHM/Wonderland fork in the time they were booming. I lost half of my money and sold it without looking back. On the other hand, I was buying ETH in the $100-300 range and sold it in the $3k-4k range. Not everything is a long-term hold. Currently, I'm accumulating a **lot** of Bitcoin and a bit of ETH, RUNE, and ATOM.

What do you say now? I think I'd take a rest from the market and just hoard my buys on big caps, others on RUNE, Metis, RIDE, and lots more. Probably March wants to kill the excitement, but I choose not to look at charts for now, and neither should you, DCA, when everything is somewhat stable and picking up.

Yes, I don't have an explanation for 80% in OA wallet. If people who disregard that lose money, it's on them. If they win big because RH doesn't dump, good for them. I'm not a "HEXican" btw. I hold some (deep in green), but I also hold ETH, RUNE, ATOM, CRO, AR, MATIC, etc. 80% of my crypto portfolio is in BTC. Have been in the space since 2017. >if I only cared about the money, that approach makes complete sense Yes. :) >the sacrifice PulseChain might launch. We don't know if it's a scam yet, right? >the OA wallet ERC token with centralized holding. Nothing special. Weird and succeptible to major price dumps, but not a scam. It's public knowledge that it's like that. I agree that it sucks and raises red flags. But nobody hides it. We can choose not to invest if we don't like, same as with SHIB or any other token. >the penalties Why? It's just a functionality. Cosmos have locked unstaking periods. ETH that was staked couldn't be sold for years to this day. We all know the rules before we commit to a stake. Adults should make smart decisions, at the end. I didn't stake my ETH (bought between $100-$300) and was selling during 2021. Those that wanted the 4-6% yield are still holding in the bear market. >Reasons it’s not a scam Because you can self-custody and trade it without restrictions. Or maybe we don't agree on the definition of "scam", which is perfectly okay. Do you think Ethereum is a scam? Do you know about the DAO hack? Do you agree with the hard fork? (These are all rhetorical, but I think you get what I'm trying to say). TLDR: It's just an ERC20 token. There are fanboys in any project, don't worry about them.

I wouldn’t fade on RUNE and NEAR but why did he skip MATIC? We all know that it will be a top performer in this list. This is because the Layer 2 narrative is still strong & it has upcoming products like the kEVM to be launched. I’m also super excited about the potential growth of VITA, they have been consistent with developments so far. I wonder what they have up their sleeves next. After the launching on MEXC today and the 4Mil funding round from Pfizer ventures they closed. Definitely caught my attention because of their continued innovations

My portfolio is a mix of about 40 tokens which, taking it from percentage let's say 100% . I allocated 60% for both btc and eth, 25% allocated to major alt coins like $RUNE, $MATIC $ADA, $FIL etc, then the remaining 15% allocated to newly profitable gems which are currently being listed on a daily by MEXC Global. The 15% always yield me more extra fund which i do take out profits and reinvest. How about yours.?

The type of tokens you choose to invest in can greatly impact the success of your staking efforts. Many people have found staking to be a reliable way to maintain stability during market volatility. Among the options available, cosmos gems are my preference as these oot just reward you on the validator staking but also on upcoming airdrop. Other solid options include GNS, SYLO, and RUNE, which offer decent APRs. Ultimately, it's not necessary for your staking rewards to be so large, as consistency and moderate returns can also be highly beneficial.

DCA has got to be one of the best strategies out here that always comes through, especially when one is unsure about what to buy. Many people are expecting the market to drop to $10,000, but if that happens, the money from shorts will be used to acquire more long-term bags on RUNE, RIDE, and MUSE, in addition to stashing the big-caps in my hardware wallet.

This sort of thing happened back with RUNE and I jumped on it. There was news they got hacked and the cook price plummeted. I threw some gambling money at it and it tripled back up in price in like a week or two I think. Sold for profit.

Do we all think the despair and capitulation phase is slowly lifting its head from the market? If that be the case then I should really get some DCA positions on OSMO, RUNE and SYLO, these ones has been getting the gradual price movement.

I agree that the tokens you've identified as trending on Twitter are likely popular. I am particularly interested in the token MANA, as it seems to be doing well. However, I do not own any of the aforementioned tokens. Additionally, I have noticed that the token RIDE has been steadily increasing in value, likely due to its utility in Skyjack NFTs and other uses, likewise RUNE, MUSE and METIS.

I've been thinking the same as OP, save a handful of the best projects that are built to last this market, provide real value and stand out amongst the crowd (BTC, ETH, and quality defi such as Uniswap or THORChain/RUNE). I see a lot of assumptions that all these "shit" tokens are bound to 10x again or real new ATHs. That's foolish to assume IMO. Even IF they can last the bear market/recession, they'll have to capture trust of the people (ideally by being decentralized/trustless), and capture market share in a crowded market. I certainly do not think most tokens are trading at a discount right now. I'm also hoping the events of 2022 will bring about a more conservative approach to crypto investing and more skepticism in general but that's betting against greed and stupidity so I'll probably be disappointed here.

Interesting. I’ll have to look into it. I have a similar strategy to you except my smallest caps are ALGO and HBAR. I also excluded stable coins, and meme coins from mine (a poor choice so far but time will tell). Otherwise we share 7-8 assets. I want one coin that is outside the top 50, maybe even outside the top 100 but I haven’t found the one yet. Maybe it will be RUNE as well.

Great question. Originally this portfolio was based off large caps, omitting stablecoins, and wrapped tokens. I also omitted a couple of tokens that I personally didn’t like. Nope. Things don't work that way, unfortunately. LOL. 5% signifies practically nothing. But that's not to say it's not good time to DCA into your fav projects; I'm also doing that with a couple of DeFi projects like RUNE, DAFI, & BIFI. The development around these projects has been insane if you ask me.

r/CryptoMarketsSee Comment

You are absolutely correct about that. Not your keys, not your cryptos had basically been the slogan since the start of crypto itself. And the warning that you shouldn't keep more than you can afford to lose on exchanges has been an anthem as well. There's basically no token I hold, DIA, DAFI, RUNE, ETH, or BTC that I have on exchanges. I only hold USDT on finance, just a little too. Something to buy on a project in an emergency if I see the need. Nothing more.

r/CryptoMarketsSee Comment

I still do low caps, and majorly into DEFI so I can easily stake them. BIFI, RUNE, DAFI, all looks good to me. I just accumulate them. When we start to pump, I'll be taking profits into BTC or ETH.

I'm just playing around with some credible alts like MATIC, DOT, DAFI, BIFI, RUNE, and some other Defi projects too because I think we'll have increased use of Defi during the next run.

It's absolutely realistic and possible. Remember, a dollar today is worth more than a dollar in the future. With that said, many projects **will** do a 10x twice in the future (not in the next 3 weeks). I understand how this may seem to you, but I'd argue you've only been through one cycle. When you live through a couple, 10x becomes normalized. My picks for 100x in a decade? RUNE & ATOM. My picks for 100x in a century? BTC & ETH. Yes, you've read that right. **Explanation**: when a loaf of bread costs $10k, a $2m BTC is not that uncommon.
