This recent pump is only the beginning. Gonna be a big year for ROSE, 20B MC all but assured, 50B in play by EOY and 3-5 years from now it could very well be the new ETH. I am all in and you should be too. This is financial advice. Thank me later.
https://medium.com/oasis-protocol-project/oasis-network-architecture-designed-for-scaling-2799994a4a21 **tl;dr:** * architecture not only natively supports rollups, it ONLY supports rollups by separating consensus and computation * "layer 1" and "layer 2" nomenclature loses meaning, this is a convergent design towards the most efficient way to have smart contracts on a blockchain * bare-metal fraud proofs are more efficient than optimistic rollups or zk-proofs, better than arbitrum * other fraud proofs can be used regardless if desired because of the modular design, zk-proofs can be used if in the future they become more efficient * each paratime is effectively another rollup solution, with very little cost to the consensus layer *"From its inception, the Oasis Network has separated computation from consensus as a modular design principle. This separation means that ParaTime layer entities only handle smart contract execution, and the consensus layer entities only handle consensus. and both are greatly simplified. This has many benefits, including; ease of auditing, fault isolation, and reduced compute replication without sacrificing security. The separation, having compute done in a (rollup) virtual machine and the results verified and logged into a blockchain, is exactly what rollups are all about."* Ethereum has been trying for years to pivot and evolve its design towards a scalable, sharded base layer where validation occurs and a variety of layer 2 and rollup solutions where computation occurs. The problem is that there is nothing enforcing this right now, anyone can clog up the already congested base layer with their shitcoin swaps. Oasis literally does not let you do this, all smart contracts and transactions occur on paratimes which are effectively rollups. The best part is that it's baked into the code though, the user just sees themselves using "Oasis Emerald" if they want EVM or "Oasis Cipher" if they want confidential smart contracts. You could potentially have hundreds or even thousands of paratimes all submitting to a single consensus layer, all powered by the ROSE token.
Of course. I'm definitely in take-profit / capital preservation mode too while other might be in different positions. Had a few good weeks with ONE, ROSE, ATOM and DUSK so ensuring those profits are confirmed regardless of what BTC does.
I am more and more positive that ROSE is going to be be big. You can't partner with Google cloud, FB, BMW and other and fail. Not with this names involved. They expect you to deliver and team must be under big pressure to do the job.
It's so you can determine the price you are willing to sell, or buy at. You can set a price you want and walk away. If it achieves that price it'll buy for you. I personally really like kucoin because you can atleast but ROSE and XMR. Also it has trading bots.
Today is ADA, tomorrow will be ROSE (it's on sale now), day after ONE again, than LUNA will fly trough the sky..... Just chill my dudes. Why do you hate ADA? I think is fckin stable coin by now...but man, I am happy for holders now. Why shouldn't I be? Because I'm a greedy 15 year old that is full of envy on others success? No, thank you sir..... I will not be that bitch ass punk. Enjoy ADA holders! Wish you x10.
Opportunity cost though. ICP will probably never hit their initial price, but a lot of things can (and have) outgain it over any given time span. So in that sense you can still gain a lot by salvaging your loss into a win. Let's say you cut your losses last week and moved it into ROSE (went for the top gainer of last 7 days to show the extreme), then you would've already been up 55% instead of just hoping for a turnaround. You would need ICP to hit over $45 to match that, but it hasn't seen that price in nearly 2 months. For a non-extreme example let's say you sold ICP at $80 in September where the last peak was and moved it into BTC.. you would've only lost a few % instead of 60% from that point. And just to show this doesn't always work, let's say you sold out of it to FOMO into LRC near its ATH towards the end of November. You would have lost 60% instead of 30% over that time. I think it's important to know when to cut losses and move it into something else rather than just hoping with no reason. I FOMO'd into DOGE when I first started, but realized after losing 50% it was a mistake and ended up moving my loss into MATIC at .95 which is now up over 140%. If I held all the way through hoping for a miracle I'd be down 70% from initial investment.
Gotta say, I got ROSE at 0.33 Saw it when to 0.42 and i sold it all. The pump make me nervous and i dont know when to sell it so i sold it all off. Then we got start big dip in early 2022, i got back in on ROSE at 0.40. Now i decided to just HODL and only taking profits when it reaches x2
My average buy is around 0.22 so I’m sitting on nice profits right now. But I’m going to start setting recurring buys every Friday for Eth, BTC, and Rose, stake ETH and ROSE, and hopefully this provides me a nice future!
I got out in December when my Flair changed. Binned LRC for ROSE and more ATOM. I have no 'horse' in the race between LRC and MATIC, but it's clear to see how the sentiment on the LRC subs has changed from unbridled optimism to cautious scepticism.
