I think it's risky as this point. BTC is going to pump again and when it does all the money will get sucked out of alts. I'm waiting for a significant ATH, then a pullback, wait for the price to settle, and then pick up some alts. DOGE is probably a good bet and I like IMX. If Disney's NFT project launch coincides with general crypto excitement then I can see FLOW exploding.

But it does contribute to prices holding steady. When there's nothing to prevent someone from moving their assets, the price tends to collapse. It's a reason why things on FLOW, BNB, SOL, and other low cost chains are very sketchy pricewise and why there are giant fluctuations in value daily as people hemorrhage the price back and forth. Use [a popular ETH token as an example](https://opensea.io/collection/azuki/analytics) - Price may fluctuate, but price doesn't explode or deflate 25-50% in one day, because it costs money to do so. The more it costs to migrate things, the less it's going to move.

Sounds like you did years of investing with zero actual research. Honestly, check out FLOW. No it's not some random side coin, it's one of the biggest players in crypto that no-one wants to talk about. Fully scalable, zero to near zero fees, fast, future proof, and it's chief architect is Dete Shirley, the guy that penned the ERC-721 standard. (I.e. he invented the NFT) The chain was created in response to CryptoKitties tanking Ethereum, as a platform that could actually handle large projects and mass adoption. It also inherently handles all the stuff that ETH requires L2s and L3s for, out of the box, and does it better, all in an L1. The number of AAA IPs building on FLOW is insane too, unmatched. And the language, Cadence, blows Solidity out of the water re: security, features and ease of use. It's more akin to Sui's move, but did it years earlier. If there's one thing Flow sucks at, it's blowing their own horn.

Technically it isn't a scam, but yeah I was in the mint launch and burned 800 usd into near nothing now. It isn't so much a scam it just has depreciating value so you need to keep spending to get the latest thing to sell for profit immediately or you go down with the ship, no long term value besides casino luck. Though I think that isn't an intentional slow rug, it's just the woes of creating a utility that happens to be inflationary, and the inflation outrunning adoption by alot. It is still on FLOW and stuff, the community is cool, the team is nice enough. Not everything in crypto you lose money on is a scam just because it lost value. People are out here investing in PEPE fraud token, not honest projects. So many projects ive seen die deserved mass investment, and the devs sat back and watched 2 minute shit tokens on eth moon instantly over branding on some website and no development whilst they work for years actually developing something in ernest. That has actually been a plague crypto space wide. Binance has been stealing IP left and right, replacing every single thing with a centralized ccp version and everyone loves them for some obscure reason, whilst they wash Tether for Bitfinex for years, stealing everyones USD by buying up Bitcoin and most cryptos to false moon on unbacked Tethers. Really backed by rugged USD. A good example is Blocknet... they applied to list, Binanace asked them a heap of sensitive queries about how it worked (it is peer to peer QT wallet to QT wallet trading between bitcore forked coins, there's a LOT of them) anyway, Binance proceeds to now list Blocknet, but then launches a peer to peer trading section months later. We need to support grass roots. And grass roots projects going down in value because nobody invests in them does NOT compare them to scams which go UP because people greedily buy into hype. Pepe is the biggest rug of all time I think, they've leeched more capital out of people than I think even EOS did with it's 2 YEAR ICO lol. 2.4 Billion dollars trading value on Pepe for a couple of days and it only went down the moment it hit CEX, because the guys who launched the LP only put in 1 ETH which they can get part out with their 6% of supply and never ever ever lose money as they bought in first from their own swap LP, from the 94% supply... even if LP tokens are burned they can still rug having dumped a mill into the scam, wash traded volume up. How swaps balance and work, they will NEVER lose money as they can just swap to get their ETH back, and nobody can get that ETH because they bought the cheapest, from 1 ETH valuation upto mill. The scam nobody sees in PEPE is the ONLY way for people to get true value back out of it is get their ETH OUT of Uniswap. But now it's on CEX with supply distributed far and wide, PEPE can't go back into Uniswap, so price cannot collapse like it should, whilst the devs bleed out true value through selling on CEX, far more than any amount the victims can lambo in thinking it's a legit project. It's literally just a website and 2 minute shit token, with an evaluation at one point of 2.8 Billion dollars... for a meme that isn't theirs, a concept they stole from memetic pepecoin (they even rugged the term memetic from them). Pepe COIN actually HAD a main net, a wallet, a COMMUNITY and MARKETPLACE of HOME GROWN PEPE MEME cards, anyone could make one and list it, was early NFTs. Kekdaq they called it. Survive, in terms of what? A successful project out of crypto? LUNAC definitely not gonna make it, I picked up some but I don’t think it has any real fundamentals going, and the scam that ruined its reputation of ever recovering either. ZCash long term even as an OG holder, would say Monero will out perform in the long term. But like David & Goliath (BTC & ETH) I expect it to be there next to XMR in the long future. FLOW has had some meaningful brand name partnerships, if the POC’s continue on to show fruits I would say it would probably be a successful survivor. I am bit skeptical with some of their success due to some partnership announcements that are now partnered with other platforms instead. There also coins I am ignorant about in the top 100, but VET will definitely be a survivor like it was in 2018, or even in the long term for sure. Very professional, regulatory compliant chain for every country it operates in, major partnerships from giant name brands from each region like EU, Asia, and now entering the US slowly. Cardano has a future imo. Especially in the future if Charles is not involved with PR, or even as the face of ADA. It has good fundamentals.

My previous DCA plan, since 2017, was to just make bi-weekly buys with fiat on Coinbase. Spread between BTC, ETH, and LTC. It was simple and everything stayed there. I changed it up earlier this year right before the bear market to buy only USDC weekly via Coinbase, to avoid those strange network fees. Then transfer the USDC to another CEX that supported DCA bots, like KuCoin. It also greatly helps that Coinbase now supports other chains like Polygon, with minimal gas fees. Before, I would transfer the USDC via ETH network at slow times like nights or the weekend, to avoid high gas fees. With the bots, I can quickly modify the amount/frequency with any drastic market changes. With the minimums at $1 every hour. I mainly focus on only BTC, ETH, and FLOW for my DCA strategy. For other alts, I just buy dips if it's significantly lower than my cost basis. Mainly focused on L1 alts. Then make transfers to my cold wallet when things start to accumulate for a certain coin on the CEX. It makes it a bit tougher for me to calculate my overall cost basis, but I enjoy the flexibility and minimal extra fees using these methods.

I am a fan of Web3 companies that are actually building products with mainstream companies - like Dapper Labs. So, I feel like these type’s of company’s coins/tokens are the next ‘less risky’ level to invest in (in Dapper’s case their token is FLOW). But crypto is def not a place for risk adverse investments

Why aren’t more people talking about FLOW? I understand the hatred towards centralization and Meta but a deal with Instagram is huge (not to mention the NBA, NFL, Mattel, etc). If Crypto really is the future it’s (sadly?) going to have to play nice with giant corporations. That’s a key selling point of ADA if we’re being completely honest, why is FLOW being ostracized? I see it entering the top 20 by market cap by the end of 2022.
