I'm probably the only Klaytn fan here in r/cc... So here goes: Disclaimer: Not financial advice, and yes KLAY is my 3rd biggest bag after BTC and ETH. It's relatively unknown in the western hemisphere, but it's massive in Asia. Klaytn was started by Kakao, one of South Korea's largest tech enterprises and has already achieved mass adoption in Korea. The Kakaochat messenger app is used by 96% of S Koreans and has a built in Klaytn wallet, which normies use for everything from dental implant NFT certificates to loyalty programs with major department stores. This is possible because Klaytn has had account abstraction and fee delegation since genesis in 2019. The South Koreans effectively view Klaytn as their nation's representative blockchain... Every major development Klaytn has makes mainstream media news in South Korea. There was a period Klaytn was called Korea's Ethereum by some in the community. It is also the fastest EVM equivalent L1, with transactions finalizing in average 2.1s which I thoroughly enjoy, makes transactions feel like Web2 which I personally feel is necessary for mass adoption. Normies aren't going to put up with "transaction pending please check back in a bit". This claim comes from the team running actual transactions on major EVM chains and measuring the latency, the code is on github so anyone can verify it is unbiased. It's actually faster than even Solana in terms of finality, which is more important for UX than TPS. Klaytn also recently passed a governance proposal to merge with Finschia, a Cosmos chain started by LINE which is the leading messenger app used by basically every Japanese and lots of people in Indonesia and a few other Asian countries. This means in the near future, the chain will have access to hundreds of millions of normies through the LINE and Kakao messenger apps. As Finschia is Cosmwasm and Klaytn is EVM, the new chain is planned to be compatible with both... which is massive. In terms of use cases, Klaytn has been pushing hard into gaming, RWAs and DeFi. The MarbleX gaming chain operated by Netmarble (you might know them for the Marvel mobile games) is a Klaytn side chain, and has massive IP games like King of Fighters and Ni no Kuni on chain. DeFi Kingdoms' Serendale realm is also on Klaytn. For RWAs, Klaytn has tokenized gold backed by the Korea Gold Exchange, US Treasury bonds, e-commerce accounts receivables, and recently announced that a ship financing project will be launching on chain too. Finschia on the other hand runs DOSI, one of Asia's biggest digital marketplaces that allow users to buy NFTs with tradfi like credit cards. IMO KLAY is horrendously undervalued for what the team has achieved and how large the ecosystem is. Okay end of shilling!

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

My personal investment thesis is to prioritize real-world use cases over anything else. Of course this only really applies to coins that are native to chains (e.g. ETH, SOL, KLAY, MATIC, IMX, etc), not tokens generated by DApps. It's a long-term strategy though, essentially betting on the chains that will emerge as the ones that end up achieving mass adoption with normies not even knowing their loyalty program or digital identity or whatever is running on the chain.

good question, Comparing to Harmony ONE which i know. (maybe i'm biased, but i try to learn from my : super fast , low fee exposure) So if u compare base stats NEAR >> ONE that's a fact then u go to NEAR & Harmony Explorer and defilama there is quite a difference. First of, Harmony has way more Tx, and Protocols which means more arbitrage BOT opportunities, which leads in Tx, seems logical.? Abi trage BOTS and Protocols making quite a lot of RPC calls, and that is what Harmony is fighting against the past few month. So NEAR has full sharding, Harmony kinda not, but would it work with the load of FTM or ONE ? SOL gets a lot of hate lately for stoping network, pretty shure 90% of top 100 would have to do the same. So we are looking which project would be able to keep up with SOL in the top 100: AVAX, FTM, ONE, NEAR, HBAR?, ELROND??, KLAY? Here we go...that's my opinion, the problem is not Transactions itself, most traffic is produced by smart contract calls, which produces RPC calls and so on. pretty sure Harmony/SOL/FTM will process all transaction since existence of ADA within ONE day (pun intended, also the theoretically ADA SM transaction :-) But it is really hard to re - run their own transaction from three days in one day, smart transaction are way more expensive to process, RPC calls and so on. So the real worth of NEAR comes out when it gets battle tested like FTM, MATIC, SOL, ONE and so on. FTM and MATIC increased their fees really hard to prevent spamming their network, SOL shut it down as we know, ONE struggled but did not fall and increased performance of their network. So currently NEAR has about 650k Tx per day, that's definitely better then most, but other like FTM,SOL, Harmony have about 4M per day. Will NEAR struggle with this load, keep in mind most of this are SmartContract interactions so quite expensive. If NEAR keeps up with this and is able to shard this, then NEAR is undervalued.

On top of my mind: ILV (Illuvium), GALA, AXS, KLAY, ROSE (Oasis Network), IMX, DYDX, GNO (Gnosis), 1INCH. I strongly advice if you’re holding those to take the time and look up for unlock schedules. You don’t want to get dumped on by whoever bought seed rounds/presales when they get their tokens unlocked at 100x the price they bought in. Stay safe out there frens and know what you put your money into

So this would definitely be a trading pick) \- XTZ (solid project, and correcting for seemingly the longest time) \- THETA (have seen four straight negative months that coincided with its mainnet launch and will probably see a huge recovery in the next few months) \- KLAY (massive project in Korea, and it has gone from over 4 dollars in April to about a dollar right now. I always wonder about the projects launched on Binance Launchpad. By having some BNB in the vault you will earn some small amount of these coins, generally in the realm of 1-5% APR for the 2-4 weeks period. The last project KLAY wound up earning like 1.5% APR based on BNB holdings over the period of two weeks. Roughly translated, each BNB (approx $300 ) yielded approximately $0.17 of KLAY. Just to reach the Binance minimum trade amount ($10) one would have to have been holding \~58BNB in the Vault. ($17,400). I imagine the only thing the majority of users were able to do with their dust was use the "convert small balances to BNB" option. So if you'd need to be holding \~$17,400 in BNB just to reach the $10 trade limit, I can't imagine how much BNB you'd need to be holding in order to earn a sizeable enough amount which would actually create something of a vested interest in the project. In the end, it feels like a lot of HYPE and NOISE, and one of the least efficient ways to leverage any BNB holdings you may have. (Note: the aforementioned KLAY project, offered one of the lowest APR's I've seen, but even at the higher end of the spectrum, the returns are miniscule at best).
