Not really. I've tried many and they are all either extremely rudimentary or based around excessive amounts of grinding if you wish for the game to remain free. I try and check in on GALA or what have you to see what new things pop up but I personally haven't found anything worth it.

No he got scammed by GALA. They picked a bizarre method of upgrading the token and gave very little warning. And they knew Coinbase had regulatory concerns with the airdrop method and decided to go ahead with the rushed upgrade anyway.

I totally understand. It sounds like we both started playing with crypto about the same time, and I never got into DCA'ing, largely because my financial situation changed dramatically, so I didn't have much expendable cash. Right now, I'm holding until 2025, and my trigger(s) are when or if 2-3 of my shitcoins break even. (SHIB, LRC, MANA, IOTX, CRO, GALA, AMP - so MANY shitcoins!!!). Luckily, I only threw $50 on each of those, so I'm not THAT bummed that I've lost 80-90% on them, but I figure that when or if those start to recover, it's a sign that we're close to the peak of the cycle. I theory, I could have a more active strategy, and/or determine a price threshold for each of my coins that will trigger when I sell, but I just don't have the time to invest in determining what that should be. Plus, I'm a bit player. If I ever decided to put more in, I would have to take a much more active role, which is what it sounds like what you are struggling with as well.

Back at the bottom I purchased a big bag of GALA. I believed the project had a really good PR team which is enough for a goose performance in our beloved crypto space. Then the founders divorced in a fabulous fashion. I considered selling all my GALA bag but instead only swapped 1/3 into FET. Needless to say it’s was a good decision to sell my GALA and a bad decision sell just 1/3 of it. Make what you want from this.

Well I don't think their product is amazing, but they have a clear project with a backing. It's not just a website with a whitepaper you know? I don't hold any Sandbox, I hold GALA, but I think GALA, SAND and MANA are all good projects in terms of GameFi.

Many people are skeptical and simply don't like Gala for a few reasons such as: \-CEO can be a dick at times \-Multiple lawsuits \-Unsure of token utility This is why now is the perfect time, with sentiment being low. Why I think GALA has the potential to absolutely explode in '24 \-They have developed their own Layer 1(Galachain) that will use GALA as the gas. Besides games, music and film, very large entities, outside of Gala, are building on this chain now and will soon be announced. \-MYRIA, BEAM, PLAYAB3LL seem to have a higher sentiment now than GALA but if you actually compare the quality of games being built on GALA, it's night and day. Gala's games are simply much higher quality. Yes, Gala has not had a hit yet but, Last Expedition, The Walking Dead, Mirandus or the hundreds of future games being built on Galachain have a real chance of being a big hit.

You need to consider what a surge is, 5X, 10X, 100X a 1000X or more? SOL has done well, as indeed so has AVAX, but HNT, which works on SOL has also done well, already done $1:38 to $7+, that’s 5.43X already. If we think that’s good, Mobile which is a HNT coin went up 5000X in 60 days, it’s dropped back recently to 3000X 🤣 My DeRace has also done very well along with GALA, I doubt SOL will be in the top most st profitable coins but I’m convinced it’ll do very well though. I think majority of coins will do well and the ETF’s will be like rocket fuel to this Bull, hang on tight, don’t get to greedy or it’ll end in tears!

FET could pop off with the AI narrative. SUPER is also my shitcoin of the moment lol expecting news on its developments in January. TIA and INJ been going crazy not sure they can keep it up though. Maybe ICP can come back to life from it's flatline. GALA could come back too. Lol prepare for all of the above to potentially go to zero though. These are all very risky

Love it except for ADA. Think that chain moves too slow price wise, devs don’t want to use Haskell so they don’t have very many dapps or network activity, they suck at marketing. I think you’re better off with other L1’s like SOL or AVAX. Got a couple others for you: GALA - another gaming token but gala games has gotten a lot of funding and collabs in 2023. Expecting a good year for them in 2024. Chainlink - if crypto is going mainstream, you will need oracles to bring off Chan data on chain. Chainlink is THE oracle.

I've been in since 2021 and you're right: I do have much to learn. The moment I start getting too confident in what I think I know, I stop making investment decisions and take a break from everything for a while lol. But I'm still hung up on the "no small cap has ever succeeded" part. I mean, there's gotta be a small cap that's performed well in the history of crypto.
