I would do both if I were in your shoes. However, I would move on from the likes of XRP and GALA and go for LINK and INJ. In terms of new coins, I would choose good ones in the trending and performing sectors like DePIN and GameFi. PEAQ in DePIN and Akarun in GameFi are the ones I have my eyes on in these sectors.

I'd keep some of them and invest some in the upcoming ones. I was never a fan of XRP, and I would sell that probably. Same with XLM. Of the ones that you mentioned, I would only leave GALA. Most of my investments are long-term ones, except memes. When it comes to some upcoming ones, I am keeping an eye on AI + DePIN project named Rivalz Network and interesting and innovative GameFi project called Akarun.

I stick to plan: trailing order to buy at least 10% dips, followed by immediate trailing sell order at 8-10% raise modified by resistances. I have now a few alts (mainly ADA and GALA) that didn't raise enough for my trailing orders to activate, so I'll have to wait a bit for them to reach the price I want.

BTC and ETH will naturally be safer bets. I can *almost* guarantee that some alt coins will drastically outperform them, but picking which ones will and which will drop off a cliff is the gamble aspect. I would say your best risk: reward ratio at this point in the cycle is probably ETH- it’s got that prestige and hasn’t reaaally popped yet. I personally spread, I’m about 30% ETH, about 55% split between SOL, DOT, ADA and HBAR, 5% BTC and then 10% between a few that I consider longer shots but may have more upside like ICP, LINK, ALGO, GALA. Just weigh up what you’re willing to risk. Do you want a pretty solid chance at doubling or tripling your money, or do you want a small chance at 30x your money? Or do you want to hedge somewhere in between? Regardless, I would personally not touch anything outside of the top 100 coins unless you are super confident, like *insider trading* level confident

Honestly this is a bit of a shitty way to do things because if they always have this ability then they’re kinda cheating on what is supposed to be blockchain where it’s supposed to get stronger because of things like this, lol.. The thing is GALA is a centralized shitty gaming platform with a ton of insider founder nodes, etc; Tons of insiders got in at essentially zero & rode it to 1000x My gut feeling is that they should just take the loss on the chin but I guess this kinda benefits the holders in a way because the tokens get essentially burned now lol

Currently, I'm playing Call of the VoYd on my App Store. It's a mobile-only RPG game where you can unlock powerful characters, pets, and abilities to battle enemies. I really like what I see here. Not really. I've tried many and they are all either extremely rudimentary or based around excessive amounts of grinding if you wish for the game to remain free. I try and check in on GALA or what have you to see what new things pop up but I personally haven't found anything worth it.

I totally understand. It sounds like we both started playing with crypto about the same time, and I never got into DCA'ing, largely because my financial situation changed dramatically, so I didn't have much expendable cash. Right now, I'm holding until 2025, and my trigger(s) are when or if 2-3 of my shitcoins break even. (SHIB, LRC, MANA, IOTX, CRO, GALA, AMP - so MANY shitcoins!!!). Luckily, I only threw $50 on each of those, so I'm not THAT bummed that I've lost 80-90% on them, but I figure that when or if those start to recover, it's a sign that we're close to the peak of the cycle. I theory, I could have a more active strategy, and/or determine a price threshold for each of my coins that will trigger when I sell, but I just don't have the time to invest in determining what that should be. Plus, I'm a bit player. If I ever decided to put more in, I would have to take a much more active role, which is what it sounds like what you are struggling with as well.
