Web 3 and RPG ? HMMMM. I feel like this is an aggressive marketing rather than an AMA. Sry but no.
If someone made a rogue-like RPG like Darkest Dungeon but with NFTs that gradually go insane, I'd play the shit out of it
I've been playing TCG for ages and I have to agree with you! Also like Splinter Lands on the same sort of game. For a more Pokemon-like game Axie Infinity was a pretty decent experience (expensive though) and more recent Elfin Kingdom (still in beta) is adding up the RPG part to it, which IMO is pretty cool. Sandbox is cool too on its own genere.
Now that Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds game was pretty hyped for a time on mobile. It had cryptocurrency and/or NFTs. I was very surprised to see a beloved Japanese RPG franchise take that route. Then when I found out that Netmarble was the actual developer and Level 5 was just going to be a publisher I knew it might not work. And of course the blockchain side of the game killed it faster than the more traditional pay-to-win cash shop features gamers already complain about. Still! Netmarble has WAY more talent than almost all these developers creating P2E games combined which is sad. Now I’ve seen some things that look appealing but they just don’t play that well. So far there’s really only 3 or 4 things that’s P2E/metaverse-ish that still sucks but you can tell someone is trying: 1) Gods Unchained 2) Decentraland 3) Blankos Block Party 4) Big Time
He would have more if he was early 😔 But yes gaming and crypto are just not there yet. Maybe he thinks it will blow up in future and be like Axie (which is not either a good example of gaming and crypto ) Sure you can make money if you get early i agree but it's just not it. You know... We are way too early. I used to play Blankos and it's not too bad but it's a think collection based with profit. Like they all are. Collect this collect that sell or dump to new guys. What i would like is some kind of FPS or RPG.
A tech demo of the MMORPG called Mirandus, which is the flagship game being developed by Gala Games, a web3 game development company. It's like a fantasy RPG where everything in the game is an NFT. Been under development for about 3 years now and they just released a 2 week stress test where some of the core game mechanics are being displayed like resource gathering, combat and crafting.
>I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, an SNES/Sega type RPG game with NFT items would make a great mobile game One word: Pokemon And NFTs are the collectible monsters you use to fight with. Developers of that game would be shitting gold bars for years.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, an SNES/Sega type RPG game with NFT items would make a great mobile game
Appreciate you at least checking us out. This is an RPG so you're playing a single character through the whole game. It's intended to be pretty casual so gameplay sessions take roughly 15-20 min a day per character.
I've been playing a few games, and I'm having a good fun. If you like card games, Splinter Lands is pretty cool. If you like RPG, Pokemon style game, Elfin Kingdom is pretty cool (still in Beta) I used to like Upland too, sort of a (getting to) open world monopoly game, but have been getting bored now.
My current favourite is Splinter Lands (sort of a trading card game) on BSC. I'm very excited with the beta of Elfin Kingdom, which is a Pokemon-like RPG, like a very glorified version of the gameboy versions of Pokemon blue/red/yellow
Ohh, shiny. A new link. Must... Resist... Urge... To... CLICK! On another note, I wonder what it will be like when we grow old. Will we still be sitting in front of laptops all day long? Will there be dementia wards where you can choose FPS ward, RPG ward, LoL ward etc.?

UPDATE POLL CLOSE 4/26/2023: Final poll results below. The correct answer is Zenon. 7% of the poll participants (N=501) got this correct. Zenon Network is the only Layer 1 that contains all of the following attributes directly into its native wallet Syrius. Evidence as follows: **Decentralized Ecosystem Funding:** Funds for building and advancing the Zenon ecosystem are embedded directly into the protocol and wallet itself through [Accelerator Z](https://click.zenon.link/tvr). Anyone can [submit a project](https://click.zenon.link/oev) through Accelerator Z which is then made transparent to the entire network. Pillars (and their respectively weighted delegations from $ZNN holders) then vote directly on each proposal as well as each phase of progress to release more funds. **Network-wide governance w/ checks and balances:** Network participants consist of [Pillars](https://click.zenon.link/oev), [Sentinels](https://click.zenon.link/oev), [Sentries](https://click.zenon.link/5u4), and $ZNN [delegators](https://click.zenon.link/na0) naturally forming a system of checks and balances through the entire network. For example, Pillars have one of the most critical roles in the governance of the entire network such as voting on A-Z proposals but all of their voting power derives from the delegators which can be changed at any time. As such, only the strongest Pillar operators surface through the network. **Native iOS/Android wallet:** Will let these [Figma designs do the talking](https://www.figma.com/file/BmmfUT2DOiLzweeMfcLCse/App?node-id=0%3A1). Every feature embedded into the Syrius desktop wallet will soon be available on mobile. Final delivery is expected in the coming weeks. **Feeless Transactions:** Because Zenon network is a dual-ledger architecture, [$QSR](https://click.zenon.link/gce) is a complementary disinflationary asset of [NoM](https://click.zenon.link/ewj) based on a mint and burn equilibrium that enables the feeless mechanism. Think of it like health in a typical RPG game. By just holding a small amount, it is used and replenished based on the required thruput of your transactions but never getting fully spent. **No-code Token Issuance:** Anyone can create a token with the [Zenon Token Standard](https://click.zenon.link/jf6) with no code and in under 1 minute directly through the Syrius wallet. **Embedded Node:** The Syrius wallet runs an [embedded node](https://click.zenon.link/dcu) directly on your device, ensuring the maximum level of decentralization for a Layer 1.
Turn based combat RPG where you can pick a handful of NFTs as buffs or summons. I'm thinking like Golden Sun or FF7. If you go this route the story will be important but brainstorm that later. It needs to be a fun game first, and then the NFTs come in after the fact to enhance the game play. Like fighting basic enemies with basic combat should be fun, and then using NFTs as a means to help in more difficult fights like bosses. For example in Golden Sun if I were able to use Isaac's best summons for every fight it would not be fun or balanced, it would just be me mashing the "A" button and getting to the end asap. This also means that the game can be played without the use of NFTs which would widen your target audience, but having NFTs would greatly enhance the gameplay incentivizing uninitiated players to get into NFTs. With that said, I think it would need a maximum amount of NFTs that you can equip/summon at any given time. If I could equip/summon all my NFTs it would break the game. A cool down mechanic might be handy here too. Restricting the player from using a lot of NFTs at once also forces the player to think creatively and critically about the strategy they go forward with. It sounds counterintuitive but less in this case is more, and how this is balanced really depends on the outcome of the game mechanics. I've been thinking a lot about this lately. Reach out to me via DM if you'd like to talk more about this.
I'd play a Metaverse that's just like an RPG video game! Imagine a cheap Runescape-like open world game, that's open-source, open-ended, that can be ported to other Metaverses. I'd love a Metaverse that's as ruthless and cold-blooded as real-life (or Dark Souls🤣) I'd don't want to play in a closed box, I want to login and die within a few seconds of logging on.
I am waiting on Gate of Abyss to release. It is a GPS based mobile RPG. Ive played Town Star on PC but without expensive NFTs you earn nothing. Guild of Guardians looks fun but still waiting on release. Gods Unchained was fun and like Magic and Hearthstone. Stopped playing though when ETH gas fees were high since it waant worth upgrading cards due to cost. They also changed it from earning random card packs to pre-set packs which made me lose motivation to grind for rare cards.
The article says: "Polygon’s success can also be linked to Hunters On-Chain, a Web3 adaptation of BoomLand’s mobile game, Hunt Royale, which has had a UAW rise of over 17,000% in the last 30 days. The game is a free-to-play RPG with NFT integrations that looks and feels like Minecraft. The game reached an all-time high UAW count of roughly 55,300 on March 9." Looks like playing Minecraft with NFT integrations is the new way to becoming a millionaire overnight
Definitely, I could see it being applicable with the popular Battle Royale games and RPG games. It would just need to be simple enough to apply and use for the common player I would think. But wtf do I know, I’m definitely no expert.
The current NFT games that are out just don't have the same quality to what's already available. Why would I spend my time and money on an NFT RPG game when there are so many other RPGs available that have a bigger player base and are just more fun to play. Interacting with the NFTs also have to be seamless and not seem like a chore to the player. I think the first major NFT game that will be successful will be something like a Farmville or Pokemon-like game, where NFT's tech actually makes sense to use. Pokemon NFTs used for breeding and trading on an open marketplace would be huge and being able to bring those Pokemon into future games.
Give me a pixel RPG with a solid storyline and fun fighting mechanics and then you can add the NFTs as an afterthought. Most of these games want to make money, they don’t want to share the art they created with the world. Chrono Trigger… Xenogears… Phantasy Start IV… Give me something like that
Most people don’t realize Counter-Strike is the original NFT game. The marketplace for skins is booming again with the CS2 announcement, which btw, as a sequel they designed to have all previous assets carried forward from your inventory. In other words, game designers just need to design a game and design a marketplace and stop focusing on the NFT/Collectible aspect as the primary focus of why people should play the game. The next game on the horizon likely to pull this off is Dr. Disrespect’s Deadrop (regardless of how you feel about him), because again, its game first. Now, if an RPG maker tried the insurmountable feat of creating say, Final Fantasy III (in which there were random, incredible hard items to get like the pink tail/adamantium armor) and put the chance in at the start, created a marketplace, etc, that would explode. But you can have the thing customers worry about being a rug pull up front, i.e., buy an NFT to play. Make your money off the MP.
100% The benefits of blockchain in gaming is not P2E and blockchain is not suitable for every game. The P2E aspect should be a byproduct of the implementation, not the goal. RPG, MMORPG, and other games that require you to grind for loot/items will benefit the most. Now you actually own those items that you've been grinding 100s of hours for. When your playing days are behind you, you will still have that item you've worked so hard for. People seem to dismiss the benefits "digital ownership" can bring our society, in a time that our physical and digital lives are becoming more intertwined.
Reddit seems to have a bad habit of not looking in the right places for web3 games. There are a lot of crypto games, and they are growing by the day in numbers and quality! And, to be fair, most of these are still officially in an alpha or beta state. But they're still playable. Here are just a few: FPS - ev.io, Project Red, Mini-Royale, Undead Blocks; Metalcore, Shrapnel, Citizen Conflct, and Metaland in development MOBA - Spider Tanks, Thetan Arena; Wildcards, The Harvest, and Tearing Spaces in development Strategy - Voxie Tactics, Eternal Dragons, Mojo Melee Virtual World with arena combat and in-world mini-games - Champions Ascension Chronos - side scroller with PvE and PvP Big Time - instanced fantasy RPG Influence - space-based MMO with detailed production chains and orbits Huntes On-chain - top-down, multiplayer, PvE competitions Ad you mentioned that you aren't a fan of TCG style games, but they are a great fit for NFTs. For that we have Gods Unchained, Skyweaver, Deviants' Factions, Splinterlands, Parallel, Dark Country, Synergy of Serra, MuTerra, and more! Not every type of game is going to fit well with blockchain tech. For example, most single-player games. That's why you'll see most of the blockchain games built around PvP or leaderboard competitions. The blockchain gaming space is still growing and developing, but there is definitely much more than there was a year ago. And it's going to continue to grow by leaps and bounds over the coming years. We're just getting started!
tldr; Gold Fever is a free-to-play survival RPG where real life intersects with the metaverse. GALA Gala games has some decent games on their platform with a pretty fun gameplay loops, but the economics of their projects always seems to fall short. And while I enjoy their games, I acknowledge that they are thus far nothing groundbreaking. Leaps and bounds ahead of web3 games from the last bull run, but still not really a blockbuster experience worth the headache of the monetization schemes. I have a glimmer of hope that one of their internally-produced games will be good enough of a videogame to attract attention, but seeing how the major NFT holders of Mirandus live in a fantasy world where users will "be willing to pay $2.00 to spawn at my cemetary if they're able to earn $10.00 a day playing the game" I see very little opportunity for the game to succeed. *My hope* is that Gala Games gives the early NFT holders (including me) the shaft and they focus more on making an MMO RPG for the masses. I don't want to make $1,000s of dollars on an in-game NFT. I want my GALA tokens to be the backbone currency of a wildly successful game. And if the greedy mofos who bought $100,000 worth of NFTs get their way, not a goddamn soul will be playing the game for any amount of time.
Big FF fan here. Of all the NFTs in the FF series that might appear, 7 would be the pinnacle of collection. I would love to have one since it was my first RPG that I truly enjoyed. Them combining it with physical cards is gonna be a bit more nicer too. Can you imagine trading cards paired with its own NFT? It's bonkers. Imagine if you somehow ended up owning one card that was previous owned by Hironobu Sakaguchi, the founder of the franchise.
What does she bring to the table to earn 6million dollars? Objectively she’s a terrible trader. Objectively she looks like a obnoxious bar maiden NPC from a RPG that takes place in the 14th century. I just don’t get it.
tldr; Nexon is developing a new Web3 game based on its popular 2D pixelated RPG franchise, called MapleStory Universe. Nexon is launching a private Supernet on Polygon for the new NFT-focused game. Polygon is an Ethereum scaling network that allows faster and cheaper transactions than the Ethereum mainnet itself. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. I'd personally like to see a new viral RPG that is able to implement NFTs in an innovative way.
“It’s like Diablo 3 meets Animal Crossing” Seriously? Couldn’t you just say action RPG with simulation elements
Diablo II is the real deal RPG
> Any game with an in-game currency could use crypto imho Which would make your game economy impossible to balance, ruins immersion, and very likely makes the game pay-to-win. > An RPG with NFTs is also pretty self explanatory. If you want it to be instantly pay-to-win, sure.
Agreed. Any game with an in-game currency could use crypto imho. An RPG with NFTs is also pretty self explanatory. Racing games with real world prizes, competitive fps games... E-sport in itself is a huge market with betting, gambling.
I really have yet to see a good crypto game, because even well funded companies that could be making an actually amazing product instead treat crypto games as minimal effort money extractors instead of actually putting work and thought into it. Wake me up when someone creates an AAA open-world RPG in Unreal 5 or Unity that has crypto in it - that’s when I’ll 100% believe crypto gaming is real.
its wild they think this because being able to turn in game items into NFTs could be cool for sending items to alt accounts on RPG games. Sending items from a higher lvl account to lower lvl account in World of Warcraft is reminiscient of this
> Web3 needs to be able incorporate all content into any 'verse' before this concept has some real merit. And that just is going to never be possible, unless suddenly every game used the exact same engine & was developed by one big team & had one graphical style How can a top-down 2D RPG and a 3D FPS share assets? It doesn't make any sense, it's never made any sense, it's always been a ludicrous pitch
The only chance to have a blockchain game is a very-very good RPG with their own “gold coin” crypto and integrated NFT itemization. And the devs would make profit from RMT, taking converting fee of fiat to native token and native token to fiat. The problem is that building a very good MMO RPG is incredibly hard and none would allow devs to run an unlicensed conversion center within majority countries of service. Any collectable card type of game does not need blockchain at all. Card games rely on balance and specific decks. Not a single card game needs or even benefits from blockchain integration. There is no point in nft shit that is not exclusively unique. Try to imagine a system of different games with different world plots, itemization and economy, but able to transfer a character and it's stats between systems. Meaning time and experience, perhaps skins, received in one game could be transferred to the next. Thus giving you a sense of progress and accumulation no matter what you play, a shooter warfare or a sword fighting fantasy. That is the only scenario I see a blockchain game can be trully successfull. But conclusion is simple: **You need people to want to play a game without p2e. Then it would be successfull with p2e.**
“VOXEL, the native asset of the tactical RPG game Voxie Tactics, says it’s championing the vision of lead Shiba Inu (SHIB) developer Shytoshi Kusama of creating a decentralized Shibarium that embraces every other crypto project.”
I got my RPG and social media accounts. Let’s do this
Check out Chains of War https://www.chainsofwar.io. They define themselves as a shooter, looter, fantasy RPG. Not so RuneScape, a little more World of Warcraft. They have a collection of NFTs in the current utility phase, but have stated you won’t need to own one to play when it launches. I’m obviously invested, but that’s not why I’m bullish on this game. Its because it’s beautiful, already has a decent community at prelaunch, is being built up carefully with tons of input from community, and will have an original P2E model. They’ve done a few things with their NFTs that other companies who’ve been around longer are modeling. The team is really ahead of the game in multiple ways. Anyway, check the project out. Let me know your thoughts on it. Would love to hear some criticism or thoughts on other games.
The only games I can stand are open world or RPG’s
Smiling Jack is a badass character from an amazing, buggy RPG called Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines.
I played for a couple months in 2021. A competitive deck was thousands at the time - I just didn't see how you could onboard new players. How has it gone? Wonder if my cards are worth anything... I've been keeping an eye on Dragon Crypto Gaming - they have a retro RPG coming out this month that's been in the works for about 18 months. Actual fighting and looting.

Illuvium has an interesting take on this which is basically that cross title interoperability can currently only exist within the single universe of titles and individual studio creates. In their games, the item or whatever is tokenized as an NFT is playable in each title but not necessarily as the same exact item. The example being capturing a Pokémon like illuvial in the overworld (the pokemon inspired RPG) might represent an entire vehicle in a racing game, or a weapon skin or type in an FPS.
NFT gaming is just getting started. Lots of players. Someone is going to crack it. Probably Matic would be my guess. Or some other Eth L2. Long shot Sol or Cosmos (Saga). What your talking about is far off in the future. Having a slew of games that are interoperable is closer to a decade away. Having a fun NFT game is likely within the next 3 years. Remember Axie. A fun version. Or maybe an fun RPG. Lots of teams trying to be the ones who crack it.
Greetings team, we'd love to collaborate on business development and sourcing VC funding for migration of a live/successful NFT game [Project Nebula](https://projectnebula.com) to the Polygon ecosystem. **What is Project Nebula?** Project Nebula was born on the ICON blockchain with a mission to bring real-stakes strategy and gameplay to the NFT space (no pun intended). Founded by a team of avid RPG and strategy-game enthusiasts, Project Nebula enjoyed a strong GEN-0 presale and launched with planets and spaceships going out to hundreds of eager players. Today the project has a 1k+ community of players and collectors who venture into explorable sectors and regions of the new universe to discover planets; interact with over a hundred unique objects; encounter lore, music and art providing satellites and relays, and use their planetary and collected resources to craft NFTs that enable them to go further, faster and find more. Project Nebula Roadmap: https://www.projectnebula.com/roadmap Project Nebula Whitepaper: [https://www.projectnebula.com/whitepaper.pdf](https://www.projectnebula.com/whitepaper.pdf) **WHO ARE THESE NFTs FOR?** It's for the gaming nerds; those that love when great art, gameplay, and storytelling blend to create an experience unlike any other. It's also for the NFT enthusiasts that are tired of lackluster mini-games, and starving for an authentic strategy game. **LICENCING RIGHTS** Project Nebula Martian Spaceship holders will enjoy full emit of A16Z’s CBE-Exclusive Licensing Model, which effectively means full exclusive commercial rights granted to the NFT holder (and zero exploitation rights retained by Project Nebula). You will truly own what is yours. Feel free to make comics, fan art, or something else cool.
tldr; Japan’s largest technology firms have joined together to create an open environment for the production of virtual experiences. The goal of the project is to build an interoperable metaverse framework called RYUGUKOKU (TBD) and combine fantasy and reality to generate a novel and stimulating environment that is equal parts RPG (role-playing game) and real life. It is planned to expand the project beyond Japan. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. As always, DYOR. I say Square Enix because they started the RPG revolution in the late 90s by bringing over Final Fantasy VII. Cornucopias is going to be way more speculative and popular than the worst game SE could make.
Been enjoying playing in the blockborn tournaments and earning tezos by completing some tasks, looking forward to more games getting involved in the space seeing more variety, I really want a great RPG where limited nfts drop for killing bosses or whatever, blockchain gaming has so much space to grow imo.
I've always liked the idea of "renting" assets. So big investors can buy expensive items upfront. Let's say for an RPG game. They get a level 10 fire sword that costs $1000. They can put it on the market for rent. Another player rents it out for 7 days and pays $2, but this helps them complete harder quests etc.. This is all done automatically through smart contracts. An example of this that actually works is in the game Splinterlands where users rent out high level cards to players so they can win compete in tournaments.
Its an RPG my man, we are all adventurers here
I guess that part highly depends on the game. I would see an item heavy RPG game with player created items as viable target. Personally I see blockchain especially useful for legal documentation and voting mechanisms and such.
Dude looks like an old wise turtle that gives you quests in an RPG
Honestly, another shitty CoD clone with crypto rewards for each kill would be highly successful. An FPS is the best model but that actually takes effort to produce and launch. No one wants to sit around breeding fake ass pokemon for a game with stiff RPG mechanics.
I think my nuances isn't getting through. We're on the same page. Just that I am referring to 'wants' and not 'need' capacity. The current system imposed by Pokemon Company for example, already works. E.g: Ability to send your Pokemon from any games to Pokemon Home. MMO RPG could work, but I don't see what NFT in MMO RPG could provide besides an additional layering of ownership in comparison to what already exists in the game. Just because they can doesn't mean that they should. What I was saying was- it can work in a TCG across platforms. I am unfortunately not familiar with SAO, or what did you meant by 'Gameplay into Reality'. Does that mean your ownership in the game can benefit you from attaining certain tangible items in the real world?
I don't agree with you. Card games rely on balance and specific decks. Not a single card game needs or even benefits from blockchain integration. There is no point in nft shit that is not exclusively unique. MMO RPG is the only thing that could work but no one doing it coz they can't make a good one In a hundred years. When we are able to manifest Sword Art Online 'like gameplay into reality, that is the time of nft in games.
We won't get any real price action until Moons are listed on grade A exchange. Thats what we really want here for number to go up. And yes gaming is a good route for Moons to get into, I'd love to see an RPG where you get Moons for killing the monsters of crypto. Schiff, Buffet, Dimon they would be the bosses and there's a plethora of grunts pick any of them dumb fucks in Buttcoin.
I have a lot of fun in The Adventurers Guild (Discord-based RPG) on WAX with 0 investment.
tldr; The Open Game License (OGL) has been used to allow 3rd party companies to produce supplemental materials and even whole RPG systems like Pathfinder with no need to pay anything to Wizards of the Coast for some 20 years. Paizo, Kobold Press, Green Ronin, and more tabletop companies have decided to create an Open RPG license that can be used as a base layer system that is uncensorable, is airtight in its wording, and anyone can use it to make content. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. If they can print their way in and out of the recession.. then there's no recession right? Pheww! RPG dodged.
Imagine grinding through an RPG for long days, beating bosses and doing quests to get that legendary sword, you finally get it and you want to keep it. But you never truly own it. NFT technology allows true ownership, even if the game servers shut down, you will still own the sword. Now imagine playing some PvP game where you get some loot, say an in game hat, from an e-sport celebrity. Once you have the hat, you don't have a way to prove the hat belonged to the celebrity. Using NFT technology allows to have a record of in game items. These are two examples I can think of for in game NFTs.
every online RPG/open world dev of games from Final Fantasy mobi gatcha to GTA Online when they think about adding NFTs to loot and collectibles:
>Which projects do you believe in? I've aped into games and I wish they succeed. There's definitely potential. In order: 1. **Gods Unchained** \- Could become a Top 5 TCG. Already #1 in the cryptospace. 2. **Illuvium** \- Massive promise. Very good graphics. Hope it doesn't turn out too ambitious. 3. **Guild Of Guardians** \- Mobile RPG Dungeon Crawler with guilds and such. Played a closed alpha and it was decent already. Same with Illuvium, hope it doesn't turn out too ambitious. Other than that probably would bet on the biggest projects that were actively being used during the bull run and still are even after massive price drops.
Why would I do that? If I woke up at SBF I'd relish in the bad guy mentality. Like I'm playing an RPG

BTC is not cure for inflation - inflation is just reaction of printing money and needing more for things I cannot afford, if I cannot print more. Humans can conserve energy and save it for later use - can you remember you playing as a kid some RPG games? You got some special gear, but if it was limited, you wanted to secure it as much, as you could. When people are not in danger, they can survive very easily and keep going the thing you can without any fear about your life. Once people realize, that USD money printing is the bad way, they will adjust their reactions to the system. Which will try to survive on fiat, or BTC -it depands, who will be the winner. And you know what? I am already sick of beeing robbed with fiat, so my only alternative is to save energy and try to guard it as much, as I can... And maybe in the future I can live my dream... So BTC could or couldnt be cure - because if you look at it from perspective, once USD became obsolete, someone will try to compete with BTC to set new standard, which will be unlikely to hack or whatever you want... and BTC people will be the same, as USD people now. Greed is the power, which keeps the wheel spining. Because what is BTC? Can you be happy with BTC? Or Are you happy, because you ordered BicMac and ate it? Would yoyu be happy, if you couldnt afford that BicMac? No matter, if you use USd or BTC, you just trying to not get robbed, and be happy and prepared.
It’s like RPG characters with limited skill points! x)
The biggest thing crypto has done has taught me to save. I treat it like an RPG IRL. Number go up and I feel good!!!
If Crypto dot com card was a RPG character, it would be a bard

I wish other subs had community points like Moons. I'm a much better RPG shitposter than a crypto shitposter...
I'd like to see a 3D open world RPG where in-game resources, loot and currency earned, can also be traded and exchanged in the real world.
A bit of an asshole? This game is literally pay to win and grind-heavy. I hate this RPG
Hello u/DeliciousNectarine8 I see your point about NFT games becoming more of a quick buck than entertaining, I guess all the hype in social media about people making thousands of dollars through those games was too much and many NFT games just focused on that and decided to create those so called 'games' when it was just a click to earn with nothing else to do or a story to follow. However creating a sustainable in-game economy while you have good gameplay it's kind of a difficult specially when the volatility is there in the crypto world. Take the example of Plants vs Undead, it was huge and a lot of people were paying hundreds or even thousands just to be able to play, then the crash happened and a lot of people left the game because at the end of the day NFT games still are an investment and why would you spend your time and money in something that doesn't give you a proper reward? (Is like playing an RPG and doing a bunch of quests for 2 days straight just to have an NPC saying ¨Thank you¨ and not giving you anything useful to continue). You will get discourage and eventually drop it. Don't get me wrong, as a gamer myself I would like to be able to play a good NFT game, however I think it would take some time for that to happen. Cheers, Keiichi from Kraken.
