If you're talking long term, fundamental sort of buys NGL Ethereum and Eth L2s, they still have the liquidity and capital and Eth itself will keep developing - Solana might be a good short term but it's only used for shitcoins and nfts, and has major centralisation and reliability questions - gambling. It's difficult to imagine any particular "eth-killer" actually killing Eth because why would you? Eth works, sets the token standards, has the best dev tooling, has plenty of liquidity etc. The only problem Eth has is tps and gas, but big (institutional/hnw) money doesn't care and they'll fix that like they have many times before - and if it's still too high use an L2. So personally id keep most of it in Eth ecosystem - you never know maybe near or manta or something really scales up but I doubt it. Whenever a new defi primitive (eg RWAs are going to be huge the next few years - bet you the biggest players will be on Eth) actually takes off, it happens on Eth first then everyone copies. Until that stops happening I'm sticking with my Eth, MATIC, Link etc - actually useful tokens basically for the long term. Projects like rootstock building smart contract systems on Bitcoin might take some Eth market share because they can have legit bitcoin (no custodian issues) but I doubt it - makes 0 sense to use bitcoin to run smart contracts when Eth exists Just my probably wrong opinion:)

NGL this is a horrible take "With tickets today, you can own them and sell them off market." You can do that with NFTs as well. "With NFTs they could put in a smart contract where every time you sell it, the venue/ticketing company/whoever created it gets a %." All the ticket resale companies already charge huge fees, how is this any different? "I'll give you a horrible example that would come from NFTs. You buy 4 tickets to a concert. 1 person in your group is late to the show. Now you need to transfer that ticket to them. That cost money now because it's a NFT." 1. A ticket being an NFT doesn't mean that the NFT wouldn't just be an image of the ticket. 2. There are chains where TXs cost like a cent, not a big deal if you have to send the NFT ticket to a different wallet. " With current tickets, you just send them a screenshot." If you're selling/sending to a friend it's not a big deal, but there are so many scams out there of people selling fake tickets/sending edited screenshots that often end with no repurcussuons for the scam victim, whereas an NFT ticket would be impossible to fake and also you could have smart contract escrow that holds the tickets until the seller has been paid. I could go on further about how great of a usecase this would be for blockchain/NFT tech but that's plenty for now.

There was normal price action dips of people taking profits but community was just talking next mile marker. 2. Whale dumped yesterday. Been in tons of memecoins where the second that happens we all dip out, panic sell and memecoin ded. Not this case. Massive drop and community just held. Said this project was amazing and going to go far. One dude in the community even typed out a huge "Why this is the best memecoin in the new market". 3. Bro listens to his community. Literally last night some rando I had never seen in the Telegram before comes in. Says he is a Magic Beans holder but the website sucks and is difficult. Dev said this morning, they would work on it and do what they could. NGL I was hesitant. Bro literally cranked it out today and the website is awesome! NGL, I ain't reading all that. But, no. No one has given up on Bitcoin becoming a Medium of Exchange. It's just not the right time yet. Bitcoin has to become a widespread Store of Value before it even has a chance of becoming a Medium of Exchange. The adoption rate is only 1%\~4%, so even if a merchant decided to accept Bitcoin, there just isn't a great demand for it. It might be another story if adoption were way up at 60%\~80%. So wait 'til then.

NGL, I would have gone with a penny meme coin or Bitcoin. Even small increases would net huge returns on Doge, Shiba, or Pepe. Bitcoin is going to go up in the long term guaranteed. Thanks for the info - I admit I am not the best versed in crypto so you definitely know more than me. Just a shame to see such talent go to waste over money when he has enough. I watched him on his first starting debut at Man U live when he had crooked teeth and did more step overs than a dunk finding his way home. Somehow I feel like the money is more important to him now than football which brought him and his family out of poverty. NGL I don’t know much about crypto so I could be completely wrong. I appreciate your comments. What was the outcome? Did they accept the bank records? How was cost basis determined? NGL this is nightmare fuel for me. I started to DCA into Bitcoin in 2017. Personal wallets, non-KYC exchanges, you name it. I made good faith efforts to report on my taxes but the IRS could make my life a living hell if they wanted to. No way I could prove every transaction at this point. Ultimately, I sold all my BTC in 2022 and sat out for a year. Now I buy it all through a broker and let them track cost basis for me. I understand "not your keys, not your coin" but I'm willing to accept that tradeoffs at this point.

From Avatarbot and a RCP earning mechanism to trade your earned Cones for Avatars. From a single subreddit to a multi chain tipping bot around serveral subreddits and some new partnerships. let me tell you a story about me. I sold my initial airdrop from my ConeHead in MemeCone days but I bought it more expensive back after I saw all the development and the introduction of Cone tipping and mining/Avatar marketplace. Then I bought a Diamond Diablo Avatar for 600m Cone (at that time ~ 0.6 ETH / today: around 1.2 ETH) and now I’m buying back. No one expected Cone do even reach 1m Mcap but here we are. A sub full of supporters Cones who love their sub, their mechanics and their community. It’s not a coin that that generates millions of ccap overnight with a bunch of influencers and empty promises. Man reading older threads on here would be such a trip. When people would genuinely be so optimistic, a lot of them thinking moons would actually change their lives when comes the next bull-run. One of the top posters whom I really hope is doing well always talking how they're optimistic and basically certain that one day they will be able to buy a house with those moon holdings in few years. Call it delusion or whatever from people that said it, but overall it is just sad how many dreams Reddit crushed with zero empathy. Seeing so many people that were genuinely nice that had big dreams about all of this had them crushed feels really bad NGL.

NGL, I don’t even know who these VC’s are that would give money to crypto startups. I guess they get presented with seemingly great opportunities, but no way in hell I would if I were an angel investor, not with crypto at least. Waiting until the project was off the ground and somewhat successful would be the time, and even then it would still carry stupid risk.

These blatant lies simply reinforce outsiders' narrative of crypto being nothing more than a scam. Yes, crypto media also hypes about other chains. For example, there were buzz about Ubisoft partnered with Tezos and Ubisoft is the creator of Assassin's Creed. Plan: DCA until the pattern of the 4y cycle is proven wrong for the first time. NGL, if no ATH by Dec 2025, that will invalidate the 4y cycle imo. I’ll probably stop the DCA. However, whatever is in BTC will stay. I’ll just leave it like it’s a 100% lost and just re-direct the DCA back into the stock market. Any asset is better than holding dollars for a guaranteed loss. I’ll keep taking shots on things. And if it’s 2026 and btc is still flailing about at 2023 prices, I’ll sell to tax lost harvest if there is some other gain to offset by then, otherwise I’ll probably be starting to forget BTC by then.

Ok. I'm not aware of wstETH (is it a recent thing?), but NGL / gotta admit - for me as a relatively low level punter / non-power-user, I've definitely got a base-level distrust/apprehension of any perceived added levels of wrapping, complexity, etc when it comes to protocols. In the background it makes me feel that if one link in the processing chain goes tits up then I'm stuck, and each additional link increases that risk perception/fear. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be alone in that outlook. Whether that's a technically logical viewpoint to have is a separate issue of course... How does one get wstETH? and what is ultimately involved to extract / on the way out?

NGL, I really hope the next bull run does NOT have another meme/animal token craze. These garbage tokens, and billions in subsequent scams through them soaked up so much liquidity that could've went to legitimate projects.

Yeah it is pretty big. (NGL, personally I've kinda felt like Grab overall has become less attractive / more expensive as they've tried to add services. Eg For taxi now I mostly tend to use eg Tada in Singapore, GoJek in Indo, etc.) But anyway, it's pretty significant alright. Definitely mainstream adoption right there.
