Where I come from DPS means "damage per second"
I'm biased as hell, i love Cosmos. Love the wallet, love the app chains, love the community despite the high DPS(drama per second), love the tech stack, love what's coming in the near to not so near future, love some of the devs/validators, some not so much. Love being able to move my assets around with IBC, which is a communications protocol not a bridge, for pennies or less. Love the fact that Cosmos ships. We passed the vote to build Interchain Security last July and ICS just went live last month. Less than a year for a pretty significant upgrade to Atom. I really like being able to know and chose who i delegate(stake) to. And being able to re-delegate if I don't feel aligned with them anymore. I could go on. I have a bag of dot staking. Talisman is fine. Stellaswap is ok. Acala is a shitshow. Japan is carrying Astar which is fine good for them. Auctions are not it. I really don't like the...lets call it phraseology of Polkadot. They make things way harder than they need to be imo. And i don't run into this anywhere other than Dot really. Dot is fine. It's not for me. If it's your lane and you're happy with your investments in Dot and the dot ecosystem then it's all good.

I went ahead and bought some bricks a few weeks ago, which ended up being a pretty good move lol I just wish I put in more than $5. Bought some doubloons too even though I have absolutely no idea what DPS is (I assume some kind of pirate bases video game?) that one hasn’t panned out quite yet, but it’s about the same size relative to bricks as bricks are relative to moons, so I assume literally any good news happens with that game (?) and that thing’s gonna pop like a mfr.

In the process of double checking to see if you could deduct something like this on your taxes (unfortunately in the US, you can’t under the new tax laws that passed in 2017), I came across a firm that was in a yahoo news article that does forensic recovery (DPS Cyber Security). A big thing a _lot_ of people miss is that the smart contract that owns the NFT is capable of more than just pointer to jpeg. Programmable attributes are a pretty big deal here because it means you can have complex data attached to an asset. That's important for complex digital assets. That means you can define HP, DPS, weapon type for those stupid apes in OPs GIF. Then bored apes can be added to any game that would want them. And if instead of a jpeg ape, it was a fully rigged and animated game model, well then you have something quite interesting.
None of these people played an MMO. When you enter a dungeon and tank equips a staff, DPS decides to stand in every damn fire they can find and healer is top DPS - you don't hear happy noises. I mean, yeah, it could look like that. But it wont. And i would not want it any other way.

Moonriver is the best project on Dotsama ecosystem so far imo(dot) It basically brings Ethereum projects to operate on Kusama(dot) The gas fees are very low and transactions are very fast(dot) There are some very low cap gems in its ecosystem like Solarbeam which is the largest DEX on Moonriver(dot) You can also look up RMRK which is an NFT marketplace on Kusama(dot) It has some very cool NFTs in there(dot) If you want to be a bit more degen with NFTs you can check out DPS (Damned Pirate Society)(dot) I think it has potential to increase in price a lot and it was launched 2 days ago(dot) There is also an incoming game for holders of DPS NFTs(dot)
