tldr; Crypto exchange Binance has announced that it will support Shiba Inu (SHIB) as collateral for its flexible loan program. Binance's flexible loans allow users to borrow against their cryptocurrencies without committing to a specific loan term. The Shiba Inu development team recently revealed plans to incorporate blockchain-based digital identities into its ecosystem. It depends on the coin. Some max supplies are harder to change than others. Mainly that depends on the degree of decentralization & the chosen method of consensus. Reaching max supply does indeed make them deflationary due to the reasons you mentioned. Premined or minted coins or tokens are usually created with the max supply in existence. Sometimes not all coins are in circulation because they are bound by contracts & vesting schedules until a later point in time. Examples are NANO or THETA.

The potential of THETA is huge and solves a really big problem. I think what needs to happen is for them to show a demo of their technology in a live environment. As of now, it's still just ideas in test setups. THETA is a small bag for me (~10% of my portfolio + ~5% TFUEL) and it is getting bulldozed this bear market. THETA, they started doing stupid NFTs that no one cares about instead of actually marketing the coin to video companies and focusing on the main aspect of it (decentralized video distribution and transcoding). It's also too centralized for my liking, Livepeer is doing better on this regard. Also for other utility coin: Filecoin. The cost of running a host is waay to high and requires very high end hardware while its competitors like Storj and Sia let you run a host on a Raspberry Pi

I DCA everything and buy about $300-400 a week. I put $100 into Bitcoin every week, and $150-200 into a list of rotating alts that I think have good potential to make new ath next bull run, currently that includes ETH, VRA, VET, THETA, Ada, and a handful of others. Keeps my portfolio around 35% btc and 65% various alts. I also take the leftover $50-100 and put it on maximum leverage long calls on any of those coins. it’s like a high probability lottery ticket to me…sometimes I get a nice 5x return of $500, other times I get liquidated… regardless of the outcome of that it’s atleast adding volume and somewhat influencing the price over time I’m sure.

Aave and compound is money markets and peer to peer lending without needing banks and large financial institutions to go through. It's permissionless so ya if people want to be a degen gambler they can. They want to cut their fingers off with a saw they bought at home Depot they can do that too. Uniswap is a Decentralized exchange. No giant NYSE building renting out big servers to financial firms to see data and get trades in before everyone else, no giant corporation, no needing broker companies in between you and the exchange. You don't know what you're talking about with Helium. Or you're thinking about a different network. Helium is a physical infrastructure network transmitting through LoRa. People have bought and setup their transmitters all over the world. Though primarily in North America and Europe. They're now moving towards 5g and 4g as well. People pay to have data relayed through the network and is now just another network that extends the Internet. It's infrastructure that no company owns. At best all companies can do now is influence it. Audius has nothing to do with Helium. I dunno I would address XYO and THETA but you don't really seem to know a single thing about any of these networks.

THOL to come to top of coingecko/CMC. But the question we all are asking is wen is the bull coming back in full mode

It's not so much what's already here. Not much has already been built. But the potential is staggeringly massive. Peer to peer lending. Globally. No more pay the bank 20% interest and receive 0.01% interest. We pay eachother interest, and free market decides. Play to Earn games. Eventually gaming would become an actual profession. If you want ingame items, you can buy them. If you want to perform ingame activities, you can sell them. This problem has existed for decades. Blizzard, JaGex, etc hate Real World Trading. But the market is clearly there, it just has to be coded right so that digital assets can belong to players. Helium is an interesting example. Using the fact that crypto is profitable, it incentivises people to create a network of low intensity WiFi hubs for an Internet of Things world, charging people a little money to use it. THETA is trying to solve a different problem: streaming video requires a bunch of CDNs to make video data accessible, which is costly to scale traditionally. A distributed network is way more efficient at it, and THETA uses Blockchain monetary incentives to create the network. All sorts of financial assets like bonds, stocks, etc can and should be tokenised. You essentially take away a lot of the counterparty risks and make assets more liquid/easier to transact in tokenised form. Isn't it silly that we can't trade the markets 24/7? Or that it's hard to get different computer systems to talk to each other?

I feel like you raise some good questions, and some of them are philosophical. The first question is does <insert token> create value. The more important question might be though, whether or not the system around the token creates value and does that token accrue the value from the system? This is the most important question to be able to answer. If you're invested in BTC the question is does BTC do money better than euros, USD, yuan, or yen? Will it do money better than those in the future. If you can come to a rational answer of yes either in the present day or future then it's only a matter of time before the better monetary technology is adopted. For me I'll be honest, I don't get BTC, so I don't hold it in my portfolio. Though it seems plenty of other people see something I don't. What I see value in is are smart contract platforms. With just a few lines of code in solidity you can create an automated trust fund that requires no legal entity, no trustee, and the beneficiary can be simply a wallet address. No courts are required and the automated trust will do exactly what it's told to do, and distribute funds to the beneficiary exactly as it's programmed to do. I see value there. Of course that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to smart contract platforms. I'll argue at this point crypto is definitely a risk on asset. That means when monetary policy is loose and interest rates are falling crypto will do well. When the fed is hiking interest rates and monetary policy gets tighter, and costs to borrow money increase expect crypto to fall off. The whole idea of crypto as an inflation hedge ONLY works if and when something in crypto becomes a global currency with a multi trillion dollar economy behind it. No crypto is there yet. Looking purely at BTC, it's good money for illicit trade, it's good money is you're in a country that has lost control of it's currency which is undergoing hyper inflation, and it's useful for doing international remittances. Will it be good money that can continue to be better than 'old' money going forward? Only time will tell. For now I'm interested in economies that are being created, where the unit is exchange in those economies is a token. Smart contract platforms where economies are built. Audius - a streaming music economy. THETA - a content distribution economy. Helium - an economy it IoT data services. It's hard to have a crystal ball in this space. Has BTC and others reached their peak amount of potential use cases and maximum levels of adoption for the value services they provide? We'll probably have to wait for the next round of global monetary easing to find out if they reach new all time highs. In the meantime is there aren't multi trillion dollar economies around any cryptos don't expect them to decouple from federal reserve monetary policies or that of any other major global central banks.

Hahaha, that's quite conservative IMO. I'm going for low caps instead if I get the chance. But for now, I will keep the money and wait for LOX and THETA to go a little more down in price before I start to DCA into them. Since I can be able to stake both on Bitrue, it's an easy one for me as I don't like to spread my bags across several exchanges. I love low caps because of the returns they tend to bring in long-term.

I gotta ask you and everyone else that's "investing" in this space - if you look at something and see it has no real world value then why on earth are you putting your money into that crypto project? There's plenty of projects that are creating real world value or have the potential to create real world value. XYO, Propy, HNT, POWR, Audius, THETA, plenty of legitimate DeFi projects, smart contract platforms like ADA, ETH, DOT, AVAX, etc. But the crypto space is completely open for anyone to build ANYTHING on including garbage and scams. Shib, Doge, Hex, and failed experiments like LUNA and UST. If you're looking at your "investment" and think to yourself the only way I can make money is dependent on someone else being a 'bag holder' at a higher price then you're all invested and looking at all the wrong things in this space. It's like you're looking at the telephone and thinking its bad because it can be used for scams or garbage spam calls, the Internet is bad because the same reasons. If you're all putting money into 'projects' in this space but cannot come up with any reasons how the project will create real world value and how that value will accrue to it's token then you probably shouldn't be in this space because you're just going to fall for garbage, junk, and scams. I gotta reiterate too this space is permissionless and censorship resistant so there will always be plenty of garbage, junk, and scams to go around. Technologies are double edged swords like that. Combustion can be used to create engines, trains, cars, and aircraft. It can also just create very large explosions. Unless you're just gambling don't put money into anything having to do with crypto unless you can answer two very basic questions - does this project create value? Does that value accrue to the token? If you can't do that and you find yourself in zero sum games losing money then you need to be looking in the mirror and nowhere else.

THETA went from a top 10 MC coin with absolutely no utility and live ecosystem...to #47...in a matter of a year. It's an absolute zombie project. There's nothing left....R.I.P

I know its prudent to buy into solely bitcoin right now, but I also see it as a chance to get into some alts that seem to have a good chance of making it. So as of right now, i'm building my bags of KSM QNT DOT and THETA. Then i'll go back to BTC.

>and if everyone started buying this token, you can see gains higher than DOGE, GMT, MANA, THETA Yeah, that’s what happens when more people buy than sell.

BAT really is NOT a good token. its only use case is tipping? I could use pretty much any coin with low fees for that. >if everyone started buying this token, you can see gains higher than DOGE, GMT, MANA, THETA haha, yeah, that's literally true for any coin
