Pocket Network (POKT) is very bullish at this point, it's one of the most interesting and innovative projects on ETH Denver 2023!
Major partnership news announced to come out within next couple hours. Will POKT reveal partnership with Google/Microsoft or maybe Infura?
Pocket Network's lead developer Daniel Olshansky has just released a detailed timeline for the release of the upcoming POKT v1 with codename North Star. TestNet launches in 5 months as a major step towards the beginning of the new, decentralized era of blockchain infrastructure.

Ran Neuner is openly bullish on coins that are price-wise still lagging behind: Pocket Network (POKT) and Arweave (AR)
Bull run is not back and there might be many more months till we see the bulls back. Research for the undervalued projects with strong fundamentals, check their teams and funding, and make sure they are working hard towards building a product with potential to be the next big thing.
Pocket Network | 20% Annual Inflation Rate | DAO governed project | 80m MCap Project | Experienced Engineering and Business Team | Massive upside potential
Web 3.0 crypto projects will certainly get a lot of attention and gains during the next bull run. What are the most important web3 projects besides LINK and POKT?
3 little known altcoins with massive upside potential: Pocket Network (POKT), Komodo (KMD) and Numeraire (NMR)
FilSwan is joining forces with Pocket Network (POKT) to access decentralized RPC service for 13 blockchains for its core product multichain.storage. Decentralized RPC providers are our gateway to a multichain future.

Hyperstructures are the only way to go after multiple events such as Tornado Cash and FTX. The entire industry should aim towards true decentralization with much more support for such projects.
Why you should use a personal/private RPC endpoint
POKT RPC protocol is having massive gains in daily relays and is paving the way for true Web3 decentralization. This is the future of Crypto!

ANKR is using POKT as its decentralized node infrastructure provider. Guess what happens when people realize POKT is an important piece of Microsoft x ANKR partnership.
ANKR relies mostly on Pocket Network's decentralized node infrastructure. ANKR is basically paying POKT to use their node infrastructure services.
So we should be buying POKT? Say no more fam
Imagine POKT price chart when people realize ANKR is using POKT decentralized node infrastructure to provide their service xD
Links are not allowed here, so Google "POKT ANKR partnership" or check ht t p s:// u. today/ankr-partners-with-pocket-network-to-advance-decentralized-web3-infrastructure
>POKT I dont know much about POKT. Can you enlighten us and how this relates to ANKR and this partnership?
POKT will play an important role here as it provides decentralized node infrastructure to ANKR.
I bought $4k of POKT like a year ago when the hype was there. Now it’s worth nothing. Hopefully they make a comeback
POKT promises a lot so it doesn't seem realistic at this point. The impact that decentralized blockchain infrastructure providers can have is huge, but at least to me it's still hard to imagine it being adopted entirely. Centralized providers are still dominating in the space, Infura is bigger than all decentralized providers combined.
Pocket Network (POKT) is going to enter top 30 by market cap. Work on V1 is still in progress, but once V1 gets launched later this year, web3 multichain future will be unlocked forever. Demand for POKT will massively outweight people willing to sell it under $10. This is one of the few projects with fully functional mainnet close to the ultimate goal while still standing under $100 million market cap. https://twitter.com/ichiro_jj/status/1618368396088979456?s=46&t=gmAbaxJ5df4jFv7fMSrncg
POKT is actually a good project I don’t understand why people shill it
Lol everyone is shilling POKT 😂😂
POKT should be much bigger. Price discovery hasn't even started yet. It's slowly hitting media press. Between $3 and $5 by the end of 2024, mark my word.
POKT is the real deal. Growth to 1B network is massive.
POKT ain’t a pump and dump though lol
It's Pocket Network ($POKT) from a friend directly because it was possible to buy it only through OTC and I didn't want to bother with it. It was a crazy ride, because POKT went from 5 cents all the way up to $3 and now it's again back to 6 cents. I've literally had a million dollars at one point, but didn't sell most of it. I could have done much better, but luckily it's available on Kucoin these days and it's highly likely it will be listed on Binance this year. Network is like 1000x bigger now compared to when I bought it for the first time couple years ago (it serves 60 blockchains already and 1B data relays daily compared to 1 mil data relays when I bought it). I'll keep buying at these prices and will be waiting for the next bull run because v1 is coming out this year. We'll see what happens, wish me luck.
BTC will see new massive ATH in 2024. But also take a look at POKT, it's doing some amazing developments past few weeks. Huge announcements came out.
One of the most active and innovative builders in the Web3 space during this bear market is Pocket Network. Imagine what happens with POKT price once BTC goes back above $50k. It will be an easy 40-50x gains, mark my word.
Don't forget that bear market might not be over, there still might be huge crashes coming. It's most important to remember that there will be the greatest bull run coming after that. As you stated, many projects keep working hard even throughout the entire bear market, and these projects historically ended up as the biggest winners during the next bull cycle. I'm personally following Web3 projects with clear usecase and deep connection with the other projects, as these projects can generate value simply by the entire crypto space growing and evolving. For example, I've been investing significantly into Pocket Network (POKT) past few weeks, simply because I see it as a no brainer at a market cap of $80 million USD only. POKT is servicing more than a billion data relays every day, while 500 million out of it goes for the Ethereum chain only. Besides Ethereum, there is a full support for other major chains like BSC, Polygon, Avalanche and the others. Basically, I'm heavily invested into POKT and LINK as both of these DAOs secured a funding for the next couple years and ensured top level talents working on their protocols without any signs of slowing down. Don't waste time and money for the next bull market following the DOGE and similar ancient coins without any clear vision and usecase in the multichain future ahead of us. Peace out.
I would strongly recommend Pocket Network (POKT). I could go deep into technical explanation why Pocket is already well positioned as a leading decentralized RPC service provider (unlike any other), but it’s the important to understand it on a high level and understand where it currently stands so you can get a better picture. Pocket has an established network of 25k nodes all over the world that are servicing more than 1 billion data relays each day for all the significant blockchains such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Avalanche and so on. Interestingly, POKT is servicing more than 500 million data relays per day for the Ethereum chain only. You won’t see many people talking about silent builders during the bear market, but such projects historically ended up as a clear winners during the next bull cycle. Having said that, at a current market cap of $80 million USD, it’s a no brainer to invest in Pocket Network if you are happy with \~12x gains for the project to achieve 1B+ market cap in the next 1-2 years. POKT DAO secured a funding for the next 4 years to fund the top level talents in order to keep building and there are no signs of slowing down. I recommend to double check all of this by doing your own research. Peace out.
I know little labout POKT, altho I've heard a few people mention it. My guiding lights are BTC and ETH. And I think bought have made their breakouts, but not significant enough and maybe that's why people are a bit laid back and think this could be a bull trap or something. I'm going to wait this out too, prolly to the end of the week, or next if there's no confirmation this week. I'll be looking out for DAFI too. I think there's an easy 31% to bag from that one anther a clear breakout and a confirmation from a descending wedge.
Agreed. No centralized solutions can make it in the long run in this particular area. Infura is currently way too big, while decentralized players are still waiting for their moment to shine. POKT will skyrocket the very first moment V1 goes live on mainnet. Cryptotwitter realized it just now.
There is a middleware layer that has to be decentralized as well. Check out POKT and ANKR as decentralized RPC providers.
So you are saying POKT is being shilled, and LINK isn't? And no other project being commented below this post is not being shilled, just the POKT is? lol
LINK, DOT, POKT + don't forget about AI narrative.
LINK and POKT are great, but ANKR is missing on the list too.
Although LINK and POKT are indeed great projects tbh.
Your post could be more interesting without being obvious shilling LINK and POKT. Privacy will be more important in the future, Monero and Litecoin with sidechain Mimblewimble will get gains.
Loopring,HOOK, VRA and maybe Harmony At the moment, the attention is on memecoins BONK and BC are getting most of since they got listed on MEXC. I have never heard of POKT🤔is it a new project?
OP secretly shilling $POKT. Wtf is that, hot shitcoin?
POKT is not listed on Binance yet, but Binance is considering to list the soon. If you are not listed on Binance, majority of people are not aware of the project.
Well, TBH, it's the first time I'll see POKT. And I'm not sure I'll be taking a deeper look into that either. If need be, there are some good alternatives to LINK, as data oracles, I think will also stay top 10 in their categories with time. DIA, BAND, & TRB. I'll give those more props than POKT.
Great discussion thread. LINK and POKT are the leaders, although still not getting enough attention. I'm happy to hear the other web3 projects to research. Web3 can still ensure us 100x gains like during good old days.
Energy web token is my one of my big bets, look into it. Apart from that get diversified in different sectors, get some exchange tokens, maybe bybit token they are decent. Some infrastructure tokens , maybe POKT? Get some good old btc and eth.
Note that ANKR has been exploited few weeks ago, I'd say just go with with POKT since it has strict no logging policy.
$POKT is still the most decentralized option available on the market with in-built full privacy protection.
Quant and Chainlink have mega utility. POKT as well. Behind the scenes making sure everything works.
Copper added support for [custody and staking of POKT](https://help.copper.co/en/articles/2238312-which-digital-assets-are-supported-in-copper) some time last month. I'm betting it's institutional buy-in following that.
Nah, you the one that ain't got no kinda compelling argument. DASH is a proof of work cryptocurrency with global adoption of at least 140,000 merchants that let you buy goods with it. It also has a large community in many countries including LATAM ones, several in Africa, Europe and the U.S, and is available to purchase on 220+ exchanges. POKT is a RPC, worth a fraction of DASH, only available on 13 exchanges, and it doesn't do the same thing as DASH. There is $125 million USD stored in the DASH master node network. Again you ain't sayin' nothin' your network don't compare to DASH's adoption, use and size. GTFO'A here.
Servicer nodes are staked from anywhere to 15K-60K POKT. Validators are in the 100K+ level, with the top validator staked for 333K.
POKT is at least 20 times undervalued. Remind me in 1 year please.
Not polkadot. POKT = Pocket Network, Link's baby brother (web3 infrastructure provider)
Bullish on LINK and POKT. Thoughts?
POKT is S tier like LINK and QNT
Olshansky from POKT is well known engineer. A brilliant mastermind, they are lucky to have him onboard.
POKT is my big alt bet. The behind the scenes engineering on the project is second to none
There is a long way to go till decentralization will truly matter. It certainly won't happen overnight, but POKT is also a long term play with strong fundamentals.
I agree, the sub is way too 'safe' now. DCA! Hodl! Margin bad! I made some good returns off shitcoins shilled here - GOODNATURE, XRD, POKT, POM. Crypto went all dull all of a sudden.
Actually I use it multiple times a day before Viper was a thing. There's plenty of RPCs to choose from, I've never faced such problem while using Ankr or POKT ones. 100 gwei is just a temporary fix and it's still way cheaper than almost any other chain out there, not sure why is a big thing for you. Do you know what's actually broken? DFK and its unoptimized smart contracts. Good luck deploying that expensive shit somewhere else. Oh, and dApps jumping ship? Just name a few, none of them were relevant to Harmony or bring any value at all.
Please don't sell all your Blue Chips for POKT, it's just an example of another hyped interoperability play down an immense amount
How is it better than DOT or more upward potential than POKT? It had its listing pump and now it's crickets. Someone got off
If you are going for another L1, there is a slew of better options with less baggage and for interoperability, if I was gambling I'd go POKT, same dumb idea but atleast a chance to bank
Alephium (ALPH) and Pocket Network (POKT)
Makes sense. Infura is a huge, centralized point of failure and threat to the network. To call a network decentralized while the majority of its transactions go through one centralized organization is dishonest, to say the least. On top of that Metamask is the most popular wallet in the world... and it relies on infura. Those are two tightly connected gateways and points of failure. There are other fantastic projects like POKT out there solving these problems in a decentralized way. But, as long as Ethereum relies on centralized gateways for the majority of its transactions, Dorsey is absolutely correct.
POKT network doing that rocket thing. back into the top 100!
POKT is serving an all time high I relays right now and those are being distributed across polygon0x, harmony, fuse, ethereum, and a bunch of other chains. If you ever wanted to get in on web3 infra and make passive income staking you should take a look it’s still early!
ban_379bwiy7skxkesyyabtjkgu7qst75eiht8rfrxi4437j8hucxmrz8bmfcbc4 Show me what you've got! And join us in the #POKT community when you're ready to decentralize your infra!
The issue here: Relying on Infura for RPC traffic. Every time an application (like Metamask), interacts with a blockchain, it calls up Infura or a similar centralized service to route the request through a full node. Shameless shill here - but it’s my bet on a retirement investment. Pocket Network offers the decentralized alternative to Infura / AWS. Essentially, Pocket nodes operate the same function as Infura - with payment being made in POKT. Cheaper fees for Dapps and Blockchains networks as they buy as you go, instead of massive upfront subscription fees. Would recommend doing a deep dive. PS - better stake your pokt if you get on board. Inflation is currently still very high. https://www.pokt.network/ The Pocket Network, solves this
What about POKT network RPCs?
Is this through the RPC calls (so you could keep using MM and just swap out to a different RPC endpoint that's decentralized like POKT) or is it a different part of the MM functionality? Thank you for all of these details!
Harmony One keeps building new projects and the ecosystem is straightforward to use. And it won't cost you an arm and a leg to try things. Avg transaction is between 0.01 and 0.05 ONE. If you wanna get started in DeFi for the first time, you can get in on the Jewel/One pool on DeFi Kingdoms. Wanna get paid to lend your crypto and be able to borrow against it? Try out Tranquil finance (though it might be called Defira soon as they're building a Civ type game on top of their protocol). Don't wanna do any of that? Buy some ONE and stake it for 8-9% automatically. Current con: the main RPC is often overloaded with use, so find out how to add a different one to your metamask. There's POKT and Fuzz FInance RPC that's much more likely to work when traffic is high.
https://forum.pokt.network/t/pup-13-initial-wagmi-parameters/2238 They have sorted out a proposal for inflation which has DAO approval so I am content that measures are being put in place to deal with it. In terms of are we early/late.. one person has put 4m $POKT into the poktpool in the latest tranche. So there is still big money floating around for this project imo.
Saving this post for when a bunch of people inevitably ask this question after POKT becomes somewhat bigger. I think it has potential if it can figure out how to prevent inflation issues. Great, great write up!
Hi mate. I own some POKT just to give you my disclosure before I speak about them. I too think it’s a great idea. Decentralised middleware makes a lot of sense provided the actual product is reliable and quick. I get the sense that POKT is building towards that but not there yet. So I believe it’s still in its early/infancy stage and hopefully I am ‘early’ enough that it fulfils its big potential. The thing I like most about POKT and their protocol is I am not really betting on one single crypto like a BTC, ETH etc. In a sense, you’re betting on them all and the entire blockchain space. I do think decentralisation will become an ever-increasing theme moving forward. I think younger people have seen that centralised entities and services don’t work for them and the blockchain builders of the future will take this into their consideration which POKT could benefit from. In terms of the devs I think you need to watch some YouTube videos from Michael O’Rourke explain the concept and suss out his vision, genuity and integrity for what he and his team have built. I personally felt the passion he had for his idea and coupled with other VC’s and the like jumping in took the risk. I still hold all my POKT personally and happy to ride it as long as their relays continue to trend up. I have put my stake into the POKTpool which I an super happy with. It allows me to buy a fractional stake in their pool and share the rewards with others. I think it’s a neat way to enjoy the benefits of running a node as I don’t have the actual knowledge or capacity to do so myself. I think I am averaging about 110 POKT per day which is good for me atm. I think the biggest risk and one that I don’t hage the answers to js the economic model about how their rewards are distributed. Facts are if you print/reward your native currency too much then you very well could end up like Zimbabwe and over do it before you realise it’s gone too far. So it is something you need to look into and decide if it’s right for your risk appetite. Let me know if you have any more q’s
Staking POKT via the poktpool and compounding twice a week. Middleware/infrastructure play.
If I understood correctly, POKT is more similar to Akash than to IBC. It's a vertical integration from hosting through processing as a web 3 solution.
POKT has been making a name for itself
This is probably not entirely accurate but let me try... So let's say you're a young little chimp attending chimp school. Your mom (dApp, source of relays/transactions) works at the banana factory, and she sends you a banana (transaction) for lunch every day. Bob (blockchain) the Chimp is in charge of delivering said banana, and all is good. You get your banana, Bob gets a couple of bananas for himself for his work at the end of the day, everyone is happy. So more and more chimp moms (and dads) at the factory use Bob to send bananas to their kids. They also start sending other things, like mangoes (api calls, relays), which Bob agrees to do. One day, your mom sends you a banana and a mango. Along with this Bob has to handle a whole bunch of other bananas and mangos for other parents. Bob is overwhelmed, so when he gets to chimp school you get only one banana. Remembering you were supposed to get a mango as well, Bob goes back and realizes he dropped a mango, picks it up, and goes back to deliver it to you. This keeps happening - bananas/mangos are dropped and delivered late or not at all(congestion). Charlie (Pocket node runner), an entrepreneurial chimp, sees an opportunity. He agrees to deliver the mangos so that Bob can focus on delivering bananas, and takes part of the cut from the mango pile. The more mangos he delivers, the more he gets paid (rewards scale with relay quantity). Chimp town is undergoing a boom and everybody is working at the factory, and sending fruits to their kids (increase in web3 traffic). Charlie is also overwhelmed, but other chimps (other Pocket node runners) see what he is doing and they team up to deliver more mangos, while competing to see who can deliver more and faster (relay quantity and quality both factor into rewards). Some chimps find faster routes, they divide up the delivery routes (regionalization, which is coming in v 1.0). This keeps going on, the chimps are motivated by the rewards. If fewer parent send mangoes (low relays), then some fewer chimps jump in to deliver them (supply regulated by demand), and some leave and do other things (node runners are free to unstake and sell their POKT). If more parents send mangoes the opposite happens. Meanwhile Bob can focus on bananas, and doesn't have to worry about mangoes. Everyone is happy. Pocket is the middleman for traffic which is not essential to a chain, i. e. a middleware protocol. It is not a centralized company, anyone can participate in it and run a node, and ideally node count should be regulated by relay demand. This reduces the burden on chains (centralized or otherwise) and allows them to do their job.
I am bullish on POKT network. Waiting for POKT to bottom out first.
POKT is purely an rpc protocol it doesn't do or make D'apps but it does allow D'apps to work and do what they need way cheaper than anything else out there right now. Defi kingdoms on Harmony one are using it for their rpc requests as well as Ethereum, avalanche, and algo is on the way too. It's only going to get bigger from here for sure.
Right now a node is 15k POKT at current prices it’s around 18k dollars to run a full node. POKT is an rpc protocol that pays out in POKT according to how many relays your nodes do. You can look at POKT scan if you don’t believe me but the average amount of work a single node does in relays equates to 194 POKT a day right now it changes obviously everyday but the average recently has been well above 150 POKT a day per node which at current prices is around 150 to 200 dollars a day. The reason the rewards are so high is the network is growing and to do the amount of relays blockchains require on a decentralized rpc protocol you need a large robust network. It is heavily incentivized right now to stake them because you make so much i rewards. Once the network is at maturity there’s a burn mechanism that will be introduced but for now as it grows it’s heavily rewarded daily.
What numbers are bullshit that I’m throwing out? That’s the truth I didn’t make that number up. Do you even know what POKT does? Do you know the metrics? Can you explain why that number is bullshit?
I've said before on here a few times but if you aren't buying and staking POKT you're missing out on the biggest thing coming for web3 and also some of the most rewards you can make from staking anywhere in the space. Each POKT node you stake right now is averaging about 150-200 dollars a day and it's only going to get bigger and better.
POKT network is the solution. It's a decentralized chain which serves relays, and currently supports Solana.
I didn't know ONE used POKT. I also saw NEAR and Octopus network partnered with a web 3 project called DEIP or something. And there's ANKR, GRT, OCEAN as well. A lot of them in the space.
when Harmony One started using POKT for RPC I knew this was one to keep an eye on
dont think we see traditional bear market now. defi has evolved a lot and this time bear market will be of different kind. i mean it could be short bear bull cycle and only coins in trend performs who knows. but i will alwasy keep chasing the highest apr/apy that i can. or just buy alts whose trend i think can come. already got few alts that i think will do good in future. like FTM AIOZ DAFI ENS GTH POKT
Told you guys POKT would rocket into the top 100...and it's barely even started. Hop on the web3 train boys the waters fine. Probably one of the most bullet proof projects I've ever had a chance to learn about it's awesome.
It’s not down. Maybe the mainnet is super congested, try using the POKT RPC
Try using the POKT or FuzzFi RPC. They have been working for me
BAT. Advertisers pay Brave for ad campaigns, Brave buys BAT off the market, and distributes it to users of the browser. I think this is a great model and would rather get paid for my data than let google make money from it. CRV/CVX. Defi king and kingmaker. If you want liquidity to bootstrap your project or stablecoin, you can direct CRV emissions to your pool to incentivize that liquidity. Not to mention cvxCRV earns 50% APR of which 25% comes CVX emissions, 20% from a portion of the curve emissions to LPs staked on convex, and 5% in 3CRV from trading fees earned by convex's LPs. Even if CRV/CVX emissions slow down, the 5% 3CRV is like a dividend from curve's protocol fees. As long as dapps continue to use curve as an underlying defi primitive, there will be fees. POKT. Decentralized RPC nodes for multiple blockchains. Similar to consensys infura. Dapps can buy and stake POKT to claim X number of relays per Y hours. Node providers stake POKT as slashing insurance.
He should be using POKT Network for infrasructure. Harmony has slowly been giving them more traffic and POKT has been handling RPC beautifully so far. They need to start using it way more to keep their network effecient. POKT is completely decentralized and cheaper than infura or any other infrastructure!
