Same with AKT, AI narrative is sleeping right now. I am taking some profits from RWA run and rotating them to AI expecting them to come back in force.
FET's done great for me, and it's got a big partnership in the works with ocean protocol and singularity net - they're going to combine their coins to create a new full stack AI project that handles decentralized compute, retrieval, and training in large language models all in one project. RENDER also has done very well. Another decentralized compute and distributed graphics processing play. Holding TAO is the pure play AI product of the cycle, providing trained machine intelligence as a service. Not holding but I damn sure wish I was. AKT and FIL both seem well placed for AI exposure because of their open source cloud computing and decentralized data storage/retrieval. I hold some of both. NEAR was created by one of the most influential modern AI coders that helped inspire and lead to the creation of chat gpt. Many suspect a pivot from NEAR into the sector. Planning on picking some up AIOZ is a promising decentralized distributed content delivery network play, think streaming videos/playing games online. Another I'm holding. These are the ones I'm watching/holding for this cycle. DYOR ofc. And take profits regularly if you get them because I doubt all of them will have lasting staying power.
AKT has an actual proper use case. As someone who is in software dev, I can really appreciate decentralised platform that runs Kubernetes and lets you deploy Docker images.
I've built up a nice AKT bag outa my staking rewards... I'll continue to keep adding to it for now... My stuff was far too busy, wanted to get simpler

I was pretty much FOMOing into everything at near ATH's Last cycle Even though I was pretty upset about it I didn't stop buying BTC through the bear.. just wish I had bought some alts through the bear too.. Anyways, yeah I'm just guessing. That's kind of the reason I posted... feels pointless. So I'm thinking about setting more incremental price targets on BTC and then dumping my poor performers at some percentage when BTC hits those price targets. And I'll only set price targets on the altcoins I actually am keeping up like MINA and AVAX or my new investments like AIOZ, AKT, etc
Personally I think ADA 16% is the biggest area you can improve. If you want to punt on another rising L1 you could learn about SUI. Or perhaps play the ai narrative and spread across with TAO, PRIME, RNDR, AKT GLQ. Good luck!

Just stay away from the garbage VC networks like $Atom and $Osmo where Coinbase had a monopoly on the supply and dumps all over everyone with their endless staking rewards they milk from their CEX customers.

How decentralised can they be if they're offering H100s? Most people can't afford to spend 40k on one of those, so only a few wealthy individuals or companies will own them, making it quite centralised, and there would need to be a ton of them for AKT to be truly on-demand, otherwise people will have to queue/ reserve them, like with Render. Isn't there any provision in AKT for the network, or individual node operators, to reject certain jobs that might be illegal? I certainly wouldn't want my GPU being used to generate deep fake porn or images of CSE. What about GPU or AIOZ? How is AKT better than them? Isn't it likely that a big company like Microsoft or Google that can afford to buy loads of H100s and can power them with free or very low cost electricity will be able to undercut any decentralised network and still make a profit, and users will chose them simply because they're cheaper? Assuming that all of these networks will have some restrictions on what they can be used for, why would someone choose to pay more to use them, rather than a cheaper centralised system?
RNDR doesn’t have on-demand GPU’s nor is it truly a permissionless network. Most people have the impression that RNDR like AKT is a super cloud but in fact it is not. Back to the permissionless idea, you have to fill out a form to get access to RNDR GPU’s. I also feel like they are more inclined to “sell their soul” to centralized institutions. AKT apart from actually being decentralized and having on demand GPU’s they are truly decentralized due to their permissionless nature. They are a super cloud and their network of On demand are some of the cheapest in the market at 1.50hr for H100’s

What narratives are you betting on for the next part of the cycle? Still difficult to look past DePIN, AI, and to a lesser extent gaming. But it looks like RWAs might crash the party. I've been holding coins like IMX, AKT and RNDR since last year, but also building positions in AR, ONDO, and PYTH more recently.
Mostly AI/DEPIN and a bit into RWA, BtC network, and Cosmos. Top five bags in terms of size right now are ARKM - CKB - AKT - AIOZ - TOKENFI

I struggle to continue buying once I'm up 100%, but make exceptions if the market cap is low enough. I'm 400% up on AKT and still buying, for example.
I have a small trading portfolio that I trade in and out of positions, usually in days/weeks. The amounts I trade with aren't big enough that it's constantly on my mind or I'm stressed about, so I think its fun and a good way to learn about the markets. I just buy coins that look technically good (for example buying on 200 EMA, consolidating triangle, or dumping on to old support at least -40% down). Then I sell on breakouts or +40% days. I sell most of the position after 50% runs, unless I have a price target in mind. I haven't had a losing trade (yet) I either sell at profit or a wash (slightly negative considering fees/spread) - 12 trades total, 10 profit, 2 wash. The only position I'm down on right now is -$100 on AKT (-7.5%), but the chart looks fine so not really concerned. I don't go super hard in a single position, so when I sell the position the profits are usually between $100 - $500. My average return is 25%

Anything DePIN. Interest in the services being offered by projects like RNDR and AKT will surely only grow as AI and the demand for GPU/computing resources does.
Maybe for the last two, but AKT looks good at this price imo. Still down 7% on the weekly and started trading on Coinbase yesterday. When it runs it'll run.

I wish I had a little more left in the reserves. I'd probably be buying a mix of AKT, INJ, and IMX. The last two especially have seen a nice 25% dip on the weekly.

SOL, BTC, and AKT are 90% of my Portfolio…the other 10% is mostly cosmos network coins which have been very stagnant. thinking about unstaking them and throw that other 10% into something riskier with possible higher returns.
AI has been my best performing play this cycle. NOS is up almost 20x. AKT is up nearly 10x. And RNDR is up over 5x. These are all purchases from early 2023 other than NOS which was late 2023 (I stopped DCAing new fiat in Q3 2023). But none of these can compete with memes in the last 3 months. I don't know what to say.

RNDR and AKT are two of my biggest alt bags, and best performing, so I'm slightly biased. But the Nvidia AI conference kicks off on Monday, so it might be a nice time to pick up some AI coins at a discount
Apart from those, AKT and TAO. I think people keep forgetting about Bittensor and now it's below RNDR, it's due for a pump.
Throw in AKT and you've got a solid trio of coins.

I agree I just bought into bitcoin in january for the first time in my life, and i’ve been in crypto since 2018…I just wanted to diversify my portfolio, even when everyone kept saying as correction was imminent…I went in when it was at 43k mostly swaps with solana and AKT, and I have no regrets. now BTC, SOL, and AKT are 90% of my portfolio at 30% each…I think that makes it highly diversified.
Just being conservative, but yeah, I have very high hopes for AKT.

AKT, TIA, DYM. And those last two launched with very successful airdrops. Cosmos has been one of the hottest ecosystems so far this cycle.
I bought most of my AKT at the peak of the last bull run and just now moving into profit…still has a good chance of going 6x from current levels

I think you forgot to include AKT (Akash Network)? It’s basically like RNDR, except it is actually decentralized, opposed to RNDR which is a valid concept but basically defeats the purpose of having blockchain technology. RNDR initially also focused on image rendering, not AI model training, but they just recently added AI training because well, it has a lot of hype going. Akash has been building for years now and actually has a working product. Price: hasn’t reached its previous ATH yet and was added to the coinbase roadmap to be listed very soon, so much upside potential left.
AKT has an actual use case and a growing user base but is constantly slept on
The top/safest should be RNDR and AKT. For low caps do research.
How small? RNDR and AKT are my two best performing bags, and I think they'll go a lot higher yet. FET and AIOZ solid too. If you want something a little more degen, maybe PaLM AI.

If your coins are underperforming in these conditions, ditch them asap. I swear we've been seeing similar comments about ADA, LTC, DOT, etc. for 6 months. You could have done a 3~5x on coins like RNDR, AKT, FET, INJ, even SOL in that time
Not against a memecoin or two, but definitely diversify. AI, DePIN, and gaming narratives are looking really strong. Something like RNDR, FET, IMX, BONK + one more would be way more balanced. Could go for lower cap projects in the same narrative if you want to up the risk/reward. AKT instead of RNDR, BEAM or SUPER instead of IMX, etc.

Ask yourself, if you were in cash.. “would I buy these coins again” if the answer is no. Then just sell. All those coins from last cycle won’t go to new all time highs. Best sell them all, including Matic & hop on the Ai narrative. RNDR FET AKT & Ofcourse, BTC is king so buy Bitcoin

Hey, I have a question regarding the purchasing of altcoins. I’m looking into buying various altcoins right now like OpSec, 0x0 , PAAL , and AKT, and I don’t want to go super crazy heavy handed and ape into these coins as I only see them growing a lot if Bitcoin continues to go anabolic. The problem is when I go on places like MetaMask or Coinbase wallet, the only way of getting them is buy swapping Eth for these tokens and the network fee is like 5x what I want to put into these projects. Just wondering if there’s any other way of directly purchasing these tokens. Thank you in advance
AKT is not listed on coinbase or binance yet but it was added to the coinbase roadmap.

Tbh I think any in the top 1-150 is fine, those are probably the ones that are gonna pump the most short term due to retail investors because they're available in most exchanges. So can't go wrong with any of: RNDR, FET, AGIX, OCEAN, AKT, ROSE, TRAC. The last two pumped a bit less and have a smaller market cap so I'd get a heavier bag on those but I think you can pretty much go for whatever.
