5 Polkadot projects you should know about (3/5)

I think CFG, LINK, and CUDOS fit the bill. Another project yet to launch that also fits the bill is Weaver Labs, particularly with what they're doing in the telecoms industry in the UK.

I am using Monero Ocean Pool currently, which a pooled cooperative of sorts. They have the ability to change what is being mined based on current crypto mining prices. When something becomes more profitable, they switch the pool members mining efforts. I get paid directly to my Monero wallet every day or two. I promise you won'ts get rich quick, but it is fun and you do end up with profit and you get paid directly in Monero. So, in a nutshell you download Mornero Wallet, which then downloads the entire blockchain to your hard drive (Large amount of data). Over 120GB. So, you are esentially synching, validating and running hashes againsta a local host of the block chain. Once you create a new wallet (DO NOT LOSE the Wallet name, passwords, etc. Write it all down. From there you download he correct version of XMRig software. You will insert your Monero wallet public Key into the XMRig .CFG file. That's how you get paid. When you initially run XMRig, it will stress test your machine and optimize it for best efficiency based on your hardware speed. If everything is configured correctly, you will start to automatically receive jobs from the pool, which your CPU will process and complete each job. You can choose to get paid for lower minimums than default if you like, which I opted in to. Depending on your hash rate, you will get paid every couple of days or more whenever you hit the payout minimum. The pool will send XMR to your wallet. I am running a raw hash rate of about 2k/sec, which isn't bad, but it's not 27k h/s, which the AMD EPYC 7742 64-Core Processor can achieve. To put it in prospective, the 7742 tricked out can generates up to $27/month. However, the average hash rate for the general public is about 500h/s. I am running actually a Intel (AMD is better) 8550 at 2000h/s. I'm using 6 of 12 threads and 8GB out of 40 GB in DDR4 ram. This computer is still quite usable, but I do stop mining if I am trading JIC. Go here to get started: https://moneroocean.stream/ Click on Help for the instructions. I'm no expert, but I will try to answer any questions that I can for you. It seems complicated, but in hindsite, it's not that bad. Get wallet, download XMRig, put your Wallet Public key in the config files, where it tells you to, and Run XMRig as adminitrator and everyting else including getting paid happens automatically.

I would wait till you hit 3x ETH, and take out whatever you put in. That way you have double what you put in just sitting as pure profit. 2x profit is great and if you are risk averse, it wouldn’t be a horrible idea to pull out then. And I totally feel you, I’m not in on CRO but I’ve been stacking DOT like crazy waiting for it to pop. For context, that you may or may not be familiar with, but tons of DOT was locked into parachain auctions that are just unlocking now. They were 2 year contracts to fund projects like CFG, LIT and such. Those took place around 2021-2022 and were absolutely huge. So lots of DOT is going to be sold on the market this year. Don’t be discouraged by the low price movement. Those parachains were often (not always though) incredibly successful. This means the ecosystem is very active and has great projects being built. Give it time.

DOT, AVAX, ATOM for large cap alts, AAVE, CFG STORJ, for medium cap, LIT, NCT are some of the small caps I’ve been eyeing. Not FA advice, just some projects I see being actively used and support personally.

Hasn't Centrifuge confirmed the amount of CFG and number of accounts that are yet to claim?

It doesn't sound like a CFG problem. It sounds like a DOT problem. You are providing free funding by staking, and there is zero checks in place to make sure you get rewarded for it? Get out of DOT.

I personally think LINK will outperform DOT in terms of capital appreciation over the current cycle, but both great projects. DOT inflation is a factor that seems to hold back price somewhat and possibly requires 2.0 before value is realised but some amazing projects on the parachains which might outperform e.g. TRAC, CFG, AZERO etc but a bit riskier than DOT as lower cap and not mature. LINK has institutional use cases lined up and seems to be primed for this cycle, so personally prefer over two in terms of a pure investment play. Just my opinion and others may disagree.

There's a few RWA chains that'll make it this cycle, STBU & CFG

Maybe get some other category coins to diversify more and leave some ADA in your portfolio just in case? I recently did the same for part of my Kas since it went up to the moon and got some CFG, SEI, and XMR. CFG = assets to defi, SEI = payments, XMR = privacy. Simply explained, CFG because I see a future where they tokenize company shares. Next to crypto I also own other assets, like shares, and a couple months ago some of them got sold because of a tender offer the broker got, which I think is BS, but you can't do anything due to contract. With tokenized shares, you'd be able to purchase shares and store them privately, completely at your will (at least what I can understand out of it.). SEI, is a competitor, I'm convinced it's better to hold several in a certain category. XMR, the more regulators gonna look, the more privacy will be used. It's one of the few crypto where I can rely on the privacy. Use CMC to look for categories, easy and fast.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

I'd look at CMC and diversify based on cap and category (macrosearch). It doesn't make sense to me to stay in just one category if I wanted to truly diversify. Maybe KCS, CFG, SEI, or XMR since you already have SOL and each of them are another category and have lesser caps? Or get some of the competitors if you want to diversify in the same category. If the category goes up, you have a better chance of riding the wave and damping the fall. Each category has something promising, and none can forecast the future. Those who say they can or slyly hint they can, are full of BS. Seek out your interests, seek out the information, and put yourself behind your own decision without wither and doubt.

For a minute I though it was a different Citizen’s that trades under the ticker CFG. I almost had a panic attack because unlike the one this post is talking about, the one I was thinking of has a market cap of $12B

CFG is my favorite RWA project. Within DeFi, I believe that MakerDAO is the one that has advanced the most in RWA. I also like Oracles working to bring RWA information on chain like DIA. Gaming tokens are nice, but a lot has changed after the hype around AXS. AI Tokens are a great pick. I like FET, DAFI, and OCEAN. RNDR is algo a great pick.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

Totally feel you on that, OP! Chasing that quick bag can be a major trap for all the newbie investors out there. crypto is totally a long-term investment, you know? Don't even bother expecting to flex that cash real quick. I lowkey feel like it's hella crucial to have, like, a totally balanced perspective on the whole crypto scene. There's, like, so much potential for growth, but, like, there are also risks involved. it's hella crucial to stay woke about the risks and flex on managing them like a boss. Hop on the hype train with the sickest trends like AI (Ocean, FLD), LSDs (LDO, RPL), and RWAs (CFG) and don't be greedy :)

r/CryptoCurrenciesSee Comment

Yeah, I've noticed that too. I think a lot of people are just waiting on the sidelines for the market to make a move. There's a lot of uncertainty right now, so I think people are just being cautious. The overall market sentiment is still pretty bearish, and there are a lot of headwinds facing the crypto industry right now, like regulation and rising interest rates. But I also think there are a lot of people who(including me) are still accumulating crypto like BTC, ETH, LTC, MATIC, etc, so I think it's just a matter of time before the market starts to move again. Also, if you want your crypto bags move then go with the hot narratives like Liquid Staking(LDO), RWAs(CFG) & AI(NumerAI, FluidAI), etc.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

Checked it out, also decided to buy after launch. :) Do you by any chance like CFG as well? If you can think about other upcoming projects like Gensyn, I'd also like to hear!

ATOR and RIO for me, CFG too. But I like Adeno the most, though it's not launched yet. Unlike the others focused on real estate and stocks, this one is focused on telecoms/IoT. Very few competition there.

> I'm sure most of you have heard about the developments on CFG, CULT, DOT, and AVAX I'm closer to DOT and some of its parachains ACA, UNQ, EQ, and PDEX. Polkadot's roadmap seems promising. I know CULT. This is one of the projects that are on my Defi's watchlist, but I'm not familiar with CFG. Is any major development incoming?

It’s kind off hard to do but if you can find which sector in crypto will be hot. Layer 1’s had their day, defi had it’s day, Metaverse it’s day, Nft’s etc. I think they all have clear winners and investing unknowns would be hard. What will be next? and what projects are best positioned to capitalize? I wonder if asset tokenization will have its day I find CFG interesting here. Talks of web 3 and decentralized Social media so I wonder if that could be something that’s next? I even think defi could have a big day again, for that I like Aave cause it kind of plays defi and social media if they can be successful. Aave is also is interesting in general though because they’re involved with CFG(asset tokenization) lens protocol(social media) and Defi. So personally I know looking at its price history it looks scary as crap, but I see potential.

CFG, but not expecting a major pump until next bullrun tbh. Since it connects to the real world by tokenizing real word assets, it will likely take a while until people notice (likely a bear market when all APR drop besides this one). But it's actually unique and has a needed product that is already working so it will have its time. Currently 44 million DAI locked.

Mentions:#CFG#APR#DAI
r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

CFG, (Centrifuge). You can finance real world assets with stable coins through DEFI cutting out the middleman (banks). Giving you stable return and the asset originator very liquid funding. Returns won't deflate once the bear comes since it's backed by real assets. 37million DAI is locked already and with the partnerships with AAVE and Maker it's only going to grow. Altair is their chain for Kusama and they won a parachain recently and they will participate in the up coming Polkadot parachains too. It's probably not gonna 100x soon but if you don't care to hold years it will be huge in the future for sure. Only drawback is KYC is required to invest in a pool since they are dealing with real world assets.
