I had a similiar case where scammers bought some NO ETHEREUM which showed up im the wallet as genuine ETH with the price but there was no ETH symbol as the icon. The icon just said ETH. The real money was withdrawn to a ledger.

Ok here we go.... 1. Your speculating. you can lose all your money. 2. If your not investing with over 10k, STAY OFF ETHEREUM. There are other altcoins that are better. 3. If your looking into altcoins, buy the main memecoin on that altcoin. Why? the meemcoin will pump roughly 2-3x the altcoin. memecoins are like taking leveraged bets. For example, you can toss $100 on avax, or you can buy $30 worth of coq and kimbo. The point of leverage is not to yolo everything on leverage. The point of leverage is to obtain the same exposure to an asset as if you were risking your entire stack, but only risk part of the stack. 4. Learn how leverage engines like AAVE works. AAVE is lending/borrowing of altcoins. It allows you to either leverage up, or to take pure positions. A pure position for example would be to put 10k usd into aave, borrow some eth, then sell that eth for btc. Btw, that is a position that is short eth, long btc, and ONLY takes pair risk, not pair risk vs usd risk at the same time. Much more precise than buying btc, borrowing eth, and buying more btc. If btc were to go down and eth also goes down, you would lose dollars even if eth was going down slightly faster than btc in the second scenario. 5. learn how to use options. There are dex options and cex options. Futures and perpetual swaps are extremely important for your ability to limit risk. You want assymetric risk. That assymetical risk is your hedge if things go south, and they are guaranteed to go south 50% of the time.

ETH is not scalable and the gas fees are a turn off. Only the rich can afford to use it. If I see that a token is on ERC20 chain, I avoid it like a plague because I know it’s going to cost me at least $30 to use it if the network is busy. I’m done with ETHEREUM

Receiving Financial Reports from Seasoned Investment Predictors that state disclaimers that negate any time just reviewing unless one like myself has the Capitol to risk any BitCoin or ETHEREUM etc . Well I’m a bit of a Cardano maxi, so I like looking for projects within that ecosystem, but I do branch out from time to time. Right now, rather than blindly seeking out brand new projects, I’m chasing new “narratives”. For example, AI is a hot new narrative. I invested in AGIX which is an AI crypto on Cardano. They used to be on ETHEREUM before last cycle, but they were waiting for Cardano to open up shop. Then they made the switch. I bought into AGIX at .22 cents, and rode the gains up to .74 cents as it broke out the last few weeks. I’m mad I got out as it got to $1.03 yesterday. I’m looking around at other AI plays that have real products or real things they are doing. Since the AI narrative is popular right now, a lot of projects just put AI in the name or have a bullshit premise but have no real meat to them. I’m also looking at AI-adjacent industries. For example.. AI has very specific needs. Lots of power, and lots of computational power, and lots of storage. These infrastructural needs are being built as we speak, as AI is still in its infancy. Theres a new narrative in crypto called “DePin”. It stands for “Decentralized physical infrastructure”. This is essentially what AI will use for storage, computational power, and maybe even electricity (though I haven’t heard of decentralized electricity being a thing - who knows, maybe). There are projects launching that provide these services, so I keep my eyes out for them. I guess the secret sauce is to keep your eyes open to what’s changing in the real world, and figure out what these big changes will need to work, and seek to invest in those things. I listen to podcasts all day centered around current and forming economic eventualities, and current and forming technologies in order to guide my investments.

I'm a long time ETH user and holder. Its edge is being the established smart contract platform. But everyday I've used it, I promised myself to ditch it the moment a low fee alternative became viable. This is how many people Will behave. ETHEREUM will keep the customers that don't care about fees and lose those that do. My money is on the faster, newer, cheaper version of ETH. A complete no brainer IMO. Moved my entire bag before this beautiful moonshot. I see nothing but alpha in Solana, and Ethereum will be fine without me. It just might not be the leader on this bull run.

Bitcoin fees are CURRENTLY terrible they haven’t ALWAYS been terrible. What is your point? One of the arguments Ether bros had before they moved to proof of stake was that has fees would improve. It’s been how many years since Ether moved to POS and gas fees are still high! Bitcoin fees have been high for 2 months. Stop comparing apples to oranges. And to be clear Bitcoin fees are CURRENTLY high because NFT fans have left the Ether ecosystem and moved to Ordinals on the Bitcoin network. The NFT network is dead on Ethereum. What I've noticed is that most people, even those you would consider smart, simply does not understand or have taken the time to try understand blockchain or decentralization. Those people will say stuff like "*it's worthless digital money*" or "*it's a ponzi*" because they only read what they see in the news, and don't actually do their own research. Then the opportunists take advantage of this, and release the "*NEXT BITCOIN/ETHEREUM KILLER!*" and get uninformed people to dump their money into it, thinking they'll be rich within a month, but they were the suckers after all. They end up hating on crypto, and spreading these stories to people that trust them, and that makes people never wanting to touch crypto, and the cycle repeats.

The market is pretty immature still. Largely because of a lack of regulatory clarity in the US where most major financial firms are located. This is the reason dog coins can still sit at the top 10. Also if you look at what gets a lot of commentary on Reddit, it's very low intelligence. The average retail investor does not understand the technology and has no ability to suss out what will be successful long term which is why so many dead ghost chains are still top 20 tokens. It's easier for them to understand "THE NEXT ETHEREUM!" than it is for them to grasp the next bastion of development for blockchain. Without question Chainlink's value will eventually dwarf Ethereum and likely Bitcoin. The largest amount of value brought onto blockchain will be through Chainlink, and Sergey makes it seem like at least some of it is less than 2 years away (while the full value is 3+ years away but we are talking many trillions if not quadrillions of dollars in assets at that point). Be grateful you have time to keep building the bags thanks to sheer stupidity of the market and inability of big money to get in.
