UFC and VeChain Announce Historic Global Marketing Partnership - VeChain Becomes First Official Layer 1 Blockchain Partner of UFC — VeChain to Receive Unprecedented Integration into UFC Assets | by VeChain Foundation | Jun, 2022 | Medium
I'm here digging through your comments because of your flow data you posted. I was really hunting for information on VVS token, trying to understand if the value of the token will rise. I was a CDC Maxi through the previous bull run, holding indigo level cards. I was locked through the peak and would have cashed out at least half at that time but could not. I'd just like to talk about your points which I have little to no comprehension on. It's probably cheaper as an exchange the cards are not great after slashed rewards VS other major US interest bearing cards, there is no competition with them right now. I think the marketing they had with UFC was a great idea. It didn't do much in the world cup \[i know, ass timing as far as people investing in ANY crypto\] but I do think brand recognition is still my favorite reason for being with Cronos. I hope the regulatory compliance point is what leads me out of the woods. I myself was learning and very foolish in the last years. I sold most of my winners \[instead of letting them ride\] and held all the trash that will get lost in the noise over the next bull run \[hope not but, we shall see\] I have long term vault locks with VVS - Ferro - MTD - Tectonic maybe some others. I've moved any remaining liquid assets off Cronos Chain because it's been horrible as far as volume, I'm all in Arbitrum at the moment, but the beauty of CDC is I can move all my funds through it as a bridge and easily return if the market does consolidate in it's favor. I remain a big fan of the product itself, but really don't believe the marketing side of this project is proper. Maybe I'm wrong and marketing is fine and there is a larger issue that makes the money avoid Cronos as it has had such small volume vs other EVM chains. Answer me or not, I thank you for sharing positive information on CDC, I do hope in the future it remains an exceptional product. I dream of a world where NBC type media talks about them often, or Cramer LOL
No trusting anyone but just stating the fact they spend ridiculous amounts of money (the naming of the Staples Center, Sponsoring the UFC and the F1 Miami Grand Prix) when I don't see the same from their much bigger competitors.
I had a conversation with a friend that works at Binance and he told me that he has no idea how Crypto.com has the liquidity to bank their marketing campaigns (TV spots, sponsorships, UFC, F1 the naming of the Staples Center). Personally I won't touch it but good luck
Honestly, I don't think these endorsements do much for price action at all. I thought the F1 sponsorship would be big time for CRO considering the targeted demo. UFC also didn't really budge price neither did the arena in LA. It could have been bad timing, but I'm still dubious
Yeah that 2021 bullmarket liquidity got stretched by companies hitting marketing into overdrive. The UFC was also quite promotional and Etoro got promoted in sports which was as a direct result of the crypto bullrun. Once profits dry up a bit you start to see the reality and that's that unless your business model doesn't only require hype and speculation you're not gonna wanna run ads and sponsorships year round.
He had bought a bunch of bitcoin and there was this UFC giant that fell in love with getting malaria and fucked up in Africa with all the different kinds of wild diseases in his mission to provide clean water to 'pygmies' or something in like the most like NOPE place like the heart of darkness... I never looked into it beyond knowing this dude just said 'fuck life, save these people in africa is my life now', and he would appear on the podcast to spread awareness / raise money and Rogan had that BTC wallet and he just gave it the guy - Wynn, wrynn, wenn? I can't remember the name of the fella, giant blonde viking dude or his foundation. but he was beyond stoked. It was so nonchalant for him to give away, that fucker.... ANYWAY. I STILL SOLD AT THE BOTTOM REBOUGHT HIGH, SOLD BOTTOM AGAIN. ITS ALL GONNA BE DIFERENT NEXT TIME THOUGH I HAVE A METHOD NOW I SWEAR MOMMA!! Edit: Save the Forgotten. link to article i didn't read but this is the dude https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2015/sep/16/justin-wren-the-mma-fighter-who-found-redemption-among-the-pygmies
I think they were back in 2021. Crypto dot com made a number of exciting partnerships with sports and sporting organisations. The biggest that nearly drove CRO to $1 was the naming rights for the previously known as Staples Center. I believe CDC have partnerships with the likes of UFC, Formula 1 and I have seen them also involved in the Australian AFL.
Seriously? It's one of the OGs and has held up extremely well, kept its place in the top 10 for a while. You've gotta be relatively new to crypto I'm assuming. Also, did you not see it plastered everywhere at UFC events? Even if you're not a fan of UFC, that was a huge adoption talking point for crypto in general. LTC and UFC were included in like 1 in every 10 crypto posts for a while there. It was supposed to be one of the first "mass adoption" success stories. Turns out nobody really gave a fuck about using LTC at UFC events or for UFC merch.
Oh boy, I just checked its price, I remember actually making a lil money when ALGO was getting awful chills here, but never believed hard on it. VET on the other hand I actually believed on it and here we are, I get reminded of it every time I see it on the side of the UFC cage lol
Their twitter and sunny lu post very regularly. In the bear they’ve updated wallet, moved HQ to Europe, released many new blockchain updates, started working with boston consultant group, started UFC sponsorship, have attended countless web 3.0, business and sustainability conferences and now coinbase listing. I’m holding some this cycle
Advertising in Sports is good for exposure, some of them are doing it on global audience sports. Tezos was Man UTD sponsor when CR7 came back to the team. OkX, CDC, in F1 VET in UFC I know all these collaborations came during bear market, but during bull I see these not only getting tons of exposure but gaining a lot price wise.
I haven't heard a Vet shill in at least a year. This is a good sign, it means the bottom is in. As the market turns the Vet shilling will exponentially grow. My bags will be happy. I'm hoping Vet expands its advertising beyond the floors of UFC rings into more intellectual circles, perhaps the Power Slap League.
I’m watching the UFC right now, the fighters walk out in “crypto.com” shirts, V-chain is on the canvas and is also mentioned by the announcers a couple times a fight card. I think it’s important for them to maintain their advertising while growing, the opposite of FTX 😂
The Singapore card is such a trash one thought. Some exciting fights but only one relevant to its division. And a bunch of fighters who don't belong in the UFC. I'm glad it's at least in Singapore. The fans there are always great and it's about time they got out of Apax.
Just Crypto.com on its own : Fifa World Cup 2022 in Qatar Formula 1 Crypto.com Arena (home of the Lakers and Clippers in the NBA) UFC Paris Saint Germain Philadelphia 76ers Serie A (Italian football league) Conmebol Copa Libertadores Cognizant Formula one team Australian Football League The list goes on.
Check CZ’s latest tweet.. Are there any sane people left on this planet?! https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1690038236926685195?s=46 *The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC). Livestream will be on this platform and Meta. Everything in camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all. I spoke to the PM of Italy and Minister of Culture. They have agreed on an epic location.*
I am highly confident in the potential of CRO and my sense tells me that its value will surpass its all-time high during this bullish market phase. Moreover, CRO has established a significant partnership with the UFC.
Man, that just reminded me of a buddy I watched the UFC with a few weeks ago, we’re talking about business and he whips out a debit card for every major Canadian bank on top of some other credit cards and accounts. I was like “how the fuck so you manage that many different bank accounts?!” Blew my mind tbh, I could never 😂
I have been off the UFC bandwagon for years. Pretty well dropped off at peak McGregor. Prior to that I would watch all of the Helwani interviews, podcasts etc and there seemed to be more personalities. After a while it seemed to just be less of the old school guys and more eastern european names with less personality. Did I sell the top?
