That a company like Lavazza ultimately picked HBAR over Vet to track their coffee beans, while this is EXACTLY the usecase Vechain was going for, is a gigantic red flag. I like CRO and I’m still holding. Not as much as I used to be but still. The reason I sold and put elsewhere is because I don’t think it has much upside potential nor will it hit a new ATH in this bull run. I switched over to Zypto.com which has all the same features as CDC except for the blockchain part. I’ve used their crypto cards for almost 2 years before I invested into their token recently. App looks much better and not sluggish like crypto.com app. No lock up like to get the cashback benefits etc. To me this is a much better version of CDC/CRO and will probably one day take over their UFC partnership

For one, it’s listed on Coinbase now. It ran from .007 to 0.28 without any easy way for “normal folks” to access it. It’s been upping development aggressively over the last two years despite downward price action. It’s got millions of eyes on it every UFC card. People love to shit on it, but a lot of us have been heavily DCAing over the last years. I think people that bought the top last run were upset, but I think when it runs again without those folks having DCA’d, they’ll be even more upset. Plus, look at the chart. Does it show more potential for upside or down at this point in the market? IMO major market cap projects don’t typically pump once and die.

I was a CDC Maxi through the previous bull run, holding indigo level cards. It's probably cheaper as an exchange the cards are not great after slashed rewards VS other major US interest bearing cards, there is no competition with them right now. I think the marketing they had with UFC was a great idea. It didn't do much in the world cup \[i know, ass timing as far as people investing in ANY crypto\] but I do think brand recognition is still my favorite reason for being with Cronos. I hope the regulatory compliance point is what leads me out of the woods. ​ I myself was learning and very foolish in the last years. I sold most of my winners \[instead of letting them ride\] and held all the trash that will get lost in the noise over the next bull run \[hope not but, we shall see\] I have long term vault locks with VVS - Ferro - MTD - Tectonic maybe some others. ​ I've moved any remaining liquid assets off Cronos Chain because it's been horrible as far as volume, I'm all in Arbitrum at the moment, but the beauty of CDC is I can move all my funds through it as a bridge and easily return if the market does consolidate in it's favor. ​ I remain a big fan of the product itself, but really don't believe the marketing side of this project is proper. Honestly, I don't think these endorsements do much for price action at all. I thought the F1 sponsorship would be big time for CRO considering the targeted demo. UFC also didn't really budge price neither did the arena in LA. It could have been bad timing, but I'm still dubious

If I remember correctly CDC is still a major sponsor at UFC. But the UFC also took a sponsor from Logan Paul's scam hydration drink, prime, so they will truly take just any sponsor.

Yeah that 2021 bullmarket liquidity got stretched by companies hitting marketing into overdrive. The UFC was also quite promotional and Etoro got promoted in sports which was as a direct result of the crypto bullrun. Once profits dry up a bit you start to see the reality and that's that unless your business model doesn't only require hype and speculation you're not gonna wanna run ads and sponsorships year round.
