ATP - always take profits. Not at the top (because it's very difficult and risky to predict the top), but on the way up. Let's not kid ourselves. We're here in crypto, first and foremost, to make money. Not to lose money. Not to salivate over internet coins or the tech. There's a reason why no real investor takes the HODL strategy seriously. HODLers are exit liquidity to those who take profits.

Yes, but you can turn an apple into ATP (adenosine triphosphate). You can't turn Bitcoin, or the dollar for that matter, into ATP directly, you have to trade it for an apple (or a banana, or a carrot). So...1 Bitcoin will by you a varying number of apples (or turkey, or pasta)...and that number has changed a lot over the last 15 years.

Just wanted to clear up some tax rules for Denmark here. I've worked here for a long time and traded and paid taxes on crypto here. IDK about the back taxes thing, so just clearing up facts here with present situation as OP brushes over some things. --- Tax on Salary, you pay 8% ATP (imagine a hedge fund run by gvt that makes money for everybodys pensions) first. Then after that you pay X% muncipal tax (no gvt tax here), which is usually between 37-41% tax of the 92% left after ATP. Then for every DKK made over 569,000 DKK per year (83810 usd), you pay the "top tax" of 15%. So if you make 100k usd here (56,600 dkk a month in DK terms), then you first pay 8% to ATP, so 92k usd left, then your muncipal tax of say 40% of the 83810 usd and (40+15)% of the (92000-83810) usd, leaving you with 0.6*83810+0.45*(92000-83810) = 53971 usd per year, in hand or an "actual tax" of 46.029% ---- Crypto tax, is based on Crypto being a speculative asset, meaning taxes for stocks/CFDs dont count. You have to report it as separate wins and losses in the "Yearly accounting form" (Årsopgørelse in DK) online at optimally Xmas, but most do it the following March after the automatic math gets done and you then adjust it with your manual input. Wins go in Section 20 and Losses in Section 58 iirc, and you CANNOT smash wins and losses together like you can with stock/CFD gains/losses. The speculative tax is basically taxed as Income tax and the losses cannot be subtracted anything in your taxes, it is just tough luck there, iirc. So hence the above section with Salary/Income tax, the 100k usd a year thing, if thats your salary and you lose 20k on crypto, nothing changes other than you are SOOL for cash. If you win 20k on crypto, then your income goes to 120k and since (using the above example math again) the 20k extra then ALL gets top-tax on it, so (muncipal tax + top-tax) but not ATP iirc. So 55% on all the 20k, leaving you 9k cash in hand from your 20k gains after taxes.

>According to Bluesky, in essence, its ATP protocol would allow users to move between various social platforms using just one high-end browser – its app – while managing what they see and how much data they share with those platforms. Decentralization is not just a system developed to serve cryptocurrencies. It is, above all, a desire to protect private data by allowing it to escape the control of a single entity. I hope the desire to protect private data would be a reality here.

>Well take that up with IOHK? The phrase is all over their literature, which nobody here reads... I don't recall seeing "UTxO tx" in their blogs and papers, but maybe I missed it. Nonetheless, it's ambiguous/redundant to say. Just another thing I should criticize IOG for I guess. >Yes, I should have said average non-sc tx. The average tx size in cardano was 500b before SCs (and before most other tokens). Well the last time Cardano had txs with only ADA and nothing else was a year and a half ago, so even if average 500b (looking at the blockchain, it might be true) figure was accurate, it's outdated. Even then though, "non-SC txs" are still not 500b on average. SCs take up a lot of space (even if it's in Plutarch V2, currently the most efficient Cardano scripts), but txs that have lots of tokens and/or UTxOs aren't much smaller. >I never calculated that average myself. It is the most quoted figure in the cardano sub and forums. If you search for "average transaction size" you'll find it. I doubt I should have to tell you, of all people, to not take what people say as face value. Do your own research and calculations, not repeat what you see and hear. Some (ATP maybe a lot) of us in the Cardano community unfortunately constantly spread misinformation/disinformation, such as "Cardano is completely decentralized" or "Cardano's TVL is low because staking requires no lock up" or "Cardano's AMM DEXes are decentralized" or "Only Cardano can do multiple processes in a tx" or...I'm sure I don't need to go on. Point is, Cardano non-SC txs are *not* 500b on average. It only seems like ADA only txs are, but that's it. Non-SC does not mean ADA only though, as tokens, metadata, and number of UTxOs play a factor. Calculating the average would be a pain in the ass, but looking at the blockchain, non-SC txs are *definitely* not 500b on average.

Minimal. I won’t say zero because a VPN if it’s a trusted one js good to use on public networks because it will encrypt your traffic. Although j still would always use mobile hotspot over a public wifi never use crypto over public wifi. However VPN won’t help much for these types of attacks and most attacks in general. VPN helps mask your traffic by basically flowing through another server so it looks like your coming form that server. In the end the traffic is decrypted and landed on your system. So if someone opens a malicious link or download to malicious software or vulnerability it will still connect back to your system. Your best security is just being smart on what you open. 1. You need software that looks for malicious activity actively like carbon black or coretex, or crowdsrrike , or windows defender ATP. One of these softwares could have helped prevent that malicious activity (could… not always) then have MFA enabled on everything possible.

BTAD? I don't wanna BTAD Imagine, one day, we're all in the matrix, the metaverse, and you're with your lady, or man, or robot, or whatever--I don't know what you're into or inside of--and you're about to cum, but you don't, you end up not doing that, you just don't, and everything just stops, and it's all because the sex dapp you're using doesn't have enough bandwidth to process your pleasure transactions, or the network's down, or you ran out of sexcoins, or worse: you ran out of ATP and now you can't move, and it's because your entire body has been integrated with the blockchain economies, and all the coins correlate directly to your biological molecules because it's easier to match up the acronyms because everything is so complicated, and because you have no ATP, not only are you poor, but your body has no energy, and you're just stuck. BTC? ADA? There was a 51% attack and you lost all your DNA, so you can't have a kid now, also your cells start breaking down immediately and glitching out Yeah, no

Bio and Crypto are two exciting frontiers of humanity. Pioneers in the bio world and in the crypto world, however, are like two alien species living a thousand galaxies apart from each other. Many people believe that the day will come when SpaceX’s Starships are equipped with warp drives and chartered as interstellar pleasure cruises. Many more would be believe that when that day truly comes, bio folks and crypto folks will definitely take round-trips to visit each other’s planet, just without landing... Nothing could be farther from the truth. Bio is the natural language of Crypto. This post builds a GPS to flatten the learning curve for our new users from the bio world to navigate smoothly in the crypto world. If you are already a crypto savvy, you may read this post to learn about the amazing correspondence between the crypto world and the bio world. **Blockchain = DNA‌** The Blockchain stores a complete copy of all the transactions of an app, just like the DNA stores a complete copy of all genetic codes of a species.‌ **Wallet = RNA‌** The Wallet interacts with the Blockchain to read transactions from the Blockchain and to write transactions to the Blockchain, just like the RNA reads genetic codes from the DNA via transcription and write genetic codes to the DNA via reverse transcription.‌ **Transaction = Protein** Transactions mediate blockchain activities and they are signed by the Wallet, just like proteins mediate biological activities and they are assembled from the RNA.‌ **App = Cell** ‌The App uses Wallet-signed transactions to enable blockchain activities, just like the Cell uses RNA-translated proteins to enable life activities.‌ **A Wallet… is all you need to start a wonderful crypto life on MRNASwap.** We have made ready the Rinkeby Blockchain (DNA), the MRNASwap App (Cell), and all you need to bring is a MetaMask Wallet (RNA) to interact with the MRNASwap App and the Rinkeby Blockchain by signing transactions, just like how RNA interacts with the Cell and the DNA in the bio world by assembling proteins.‌ **MetaMask = LNP** ‌Just like the mRNA medicine need to be delivered to the Cell, the Wallet needs to be injected into the App. ‌MetaMask is one of the safest and stablest wallet service providers in the crypto world, just like a lipid nanoparticle that safely, effectively and stably deliver mRNA medicines. **Wallet’s Interface = Ribosome** Once your import a Wallet (RNA) in the MetaMask (LNP), you can start interacting with the wallet interface (Ribosome) and issuing commands to your wallet (RNA) to interact with the blockchain (DNA) and the MRNASwap (Cell) by signing transactions (assembling proteins). **Ether = Oxygen‌** All crypto activities on the Rinkeby Blockchain consume ether, just like all life activities on Earth consume oxygen. Now it is the time to talk about the difference between the “Ethereum Mainnet” and the “Rinkeby Test Network”, because both Ethereum and Rinkeby are blockchain networks using ether as oxygen. Simply speaking, the “Ethereum Mainnet” is like the Earth in the solar system, whereas the “Rinkeby Test Network” is like an exoplanet outside the solar system. “Rinkeby Test Network” is as real as the “Ethereum Mainnet” in the crypto universe, except that the former and the latter are isolated from each other and there is no way to exchange the ether on the “Rinkeby Test Network” with the ether on the “Ethereum Mainnet”. ‌As a result, the ether on the “Rinkeby Test Network” is functionally real but has no economic value on the Earth, whereas the ether on the “Ethereum mainnet” is functionally real and has real economic value on the Earth.‌ Therefore, it is wise to test a new App on a test network first before launching it on the mainnet, just like it is wise to test a newly designed cell on an exoplanet before introducing it back to the Earth. **Token = ATP** In addition to consuming ether to make transactions possible, it is often the case that an App also needs another token to give transactions advanced functions. This is just like how life on the Earth works: in addition to consuming oxygen to survive, most organisms also need ATPs to live.‌ As a counterpart of Adenosine triphosphate as the energy currency of almost all living organisms on the Earth, “Crypto Adenosine triphosphate” (ATP) has been created as the universal token to carry out advanced functions on the MRNASwap (Cell) deployed on the Rinkeby Test Network (DNA).‌ In addition to be introduced in the blockchain, ATP must be imported to the wallet and the MRNASwap, just like ATP must become universally recognizable by almost all the organelles in living organisms.‌ **Summary** T‌his post has just scratched the surface of the amazing correspondence between the bio world and the crypto world.‌ It is not a coincidence that there exists an exact mapping for every major building block of the central dogma between the bio world and the crypto world. One more thing… **The MRNASwap app in the crypto world works exactly like how the mRNA medicine works in the bio world!**

It's been a while since high school but here's the gist of it. When you say you're creating energy by your bike-to-battery contraption your body is converting chemical energy that's stored in your body in the form of ATP into mechanical energy when moving your legs. The machine is converting this to electrical energy, which flows into the battery where its converted to chemical energy for later use. During all these steps energy is converted to thermal energy as well. I get what you mean and you can totally say that you created energy and everyone will get what you meant. I just explained what the person correcting you meant.

Oh man, you're really putting words in my mouth now. Where did I say that antifragility = indestructible? As you know, antifragility is very stressor specific. To that end, I don't agree with your analogy at all. The human body is *not* antifragile despite what *you* seem to believe. For example, our response to blunt force trauma to the head is not to become more resistant to that same trauma in future. Ignoring that, the body does have some antifragile systems such as the immune response you suggest. However, again as you know, it is very stressor specific. Different viruses, different bacteria and even different mutations of such pathogens are in themselves completely different stressors. The antifragility in regards to the original stressor remains. Mechanical strain is ridiculous. For example, because my muscles adapt to my curling 20kg doesn't mean that I can then curl 20kg an infinite number of times. Also, the presence of fast/slow fibres and different metabolic processes for activation of said fibres (ATP usage etc) means that response can be impacted by many different things. Speed of lift as an easy example. Hormonal responses to the time of day etc. I know very well from experience that just because I can deadlift my pb every day for a week does not mean that I'll be capable of it on competition day. Not to mention that removing the stressor (weight) for an extended period of time will result in atrophy. Now, to the point in hand - I don't think that bitcoin is indestructible. What I *do* know is that in the face of all stressors it has currently come up against it is antifragile and I can not perceive of a stressor which it will not be able to overcome. Again, this does not mean that I think it is indestructible I just can't comprehend of what can/will "destroy" it.

Because it's basic, undergrad level human biology. A body in starvation draws energy from specific sources. Stored ATP, liver glycogen, fat, and finally even muscle. It does not recognize which cells are cancer cells and start eating them first, it has no mechanism of doing that. Nor do cancer cells die from starvation before regular cells, because they'll simply leech extra energy from their surroundings until everything is dead.
