Agreed. Lambo/Tesla logic is TRIX, (sugary serial for Krypto Kidz). I would love to see a real meter for the amount of $$$ lost in 2021 on that dream chase BS. That would be an eye opener. The old "it went up 69,000% stuff" is quite the come on, but rare birds now-and hard to catch. I see this market as more of a mill, so I just grind the flour for others to bake their dream cakes with. :)
Hard to say. That eth could just be a tax related move.....regardless, it is a lot to push thru what is oft a small pipe from here until 2022. Inciting panic action-in either direction-in illiquid nervous markets is not rocket science. Back in my VIX days I tried it a few times just to see how it "feels". I did it with small capital ($1M), and tested it three times. Each time I was able to run the market briefly-to effect (mine). I stopped right there-education complete. It's a dirty business-I felt the need for a shower afterwards each time. **Point is, well timed, energetic moves work to push prices.** Here's a fun experiment I run whenever I am in the city alongside people waiting to cross a street-held back by a red light, (the honor system): *When there is no traffic danger (street is clear, ie: volume is nil), step off the curb purposefully, with energy and conviction---and without any sideways crowd glance....then see how many people on the curb-all watching the same red light-follow you. ;)* Crowd psychology in action. Real simple, very reliable. Patternable trade even. Whale TRIX for Kidz. :)
**I think you have the wrong OP here.** (I did not use the word "hedge" at any time-nor would I suggest such an absurd concept as being real.) I said: *"No highly volatile asset protects value in the time frame of reference of buying groceries."* I do also say: 'highly volatile assets do not function well as general inflation hedges' I mean geez, that is just 3rd grade math. :) Not rocket science. Check the DATA, forget narratives. Narratives are bedtime stories....ie: TRIX.....and TRIX are for kids. ;) RE: *"a few countries in Europe in the last 100 years"* (Germany being by far #1), is no concerning world or local trend by any stretch of the average imagination....that's just *example* which proves **rule**. "The Market Ear" (great service!) ran a piece on this about a year ago-a real eye opener. As the OP points out-such TRIX do not a truly stable coin make. I use USDT only when I have to.....and always holding my nose. :)
Hasnt your mom teached you to set stop-loss-limits ? Dont you use BOLL for seing the trading chanel and EMA and/or TRIX to see the Signal-line ? Dont you use RSI settings to see if its overbought or underrated ? Or MACD indicator if its time to buy or sell ? No ? How do you did your trades, by emotions ? People with emotions rather to strategies tend to panic-sell and post mimimi shitposts....
