You’re right that’s exactly true. Truth: BTC will most likely dip, maybe down to 50, but by 2028 it will be at 200 250. The profit you would turn on half a BTC if you could hold it till 2028 would more than wash the difference you’re talking about. I would sell it all at 90- but only put half to the mortgage- keep half liquid- buy back in 6-12 months at 50-60 with the liquid half- sell half of THAT when it hits 200 in 2028- pay off rest of mortgage with that- BOOM house paid by 2028 and u still got a chunk of coin.

I get that.... But the truth is that is perfectly normal in emerging markets. You have a period of hype, followed by a period of nothing (or a feeling of nothing) and then slowly the utility emerges. The more funds raised in the Hype cycle the longer the hype cycle lasts. After all, why deliver utility when you can spend $1Mn on marketing and raise $50Mn? I am old enough ot remember the 2000 DOT COM boom and bust. It was exactly like this. BUT, the people engaged in it were people buying stocks. There was a little more grit in the cogs than there is today. The Hype BOOM lasted perhaps two years. And then.. Crash. It took four or five years plus for the true winners to emerge. With Crypto there has been a longer boom (in fact its been transformed into Cycles). But just as you pointed out the people are worn with it now. They feel much like you do. So how does anyone in the business actually make money when they can no longer fleece the unsuspecting? Well, they are quite literally forced to move from Hype to Utility. That\`s how. The time is rapidly approaching when all the major players, from ETH down (because BTC has reached a slightly different plane IMO - one I do not subscribe to as it happens) are going to be measured on delivery, performance and proof, not mealy mouthed half baked truths, smoke and mirrors or outright lies. Leveraged longs increase this risk, making this high risk, speculative investment into a gambling play. 3. I'm sure it's the leveraged players who stay up all night looking at candlesticks due to anxiety over their gamble, while we spot holders are sleeping peacefully. - (Lack of sleep is not good for the leveraged players' mental health). 4. Prices go up, leveraged longs pump up the news, driving more leveraged buyers to gamble. 5. Then BOOM, whale shorts dump some coins to majorly drive the prices down. They can afford to dump some long-held coins to drive prices down, as their shorts make up majority of their profits. 6. This causes a panic sell among leveraged longs to make any protit or limit loss, causing the price to drop further. 7. Margin calls kick in, resulting in automatic liquidation of leveraged accounts. 8. Cycle repeats with new leveraged longs who want to get in on the drop because the price is now "cheap". I said it once, and I'll say it again, it's the leveraged longs who are preventing a price upside breakout for Bitcoin and alts.

The economy has never been an exact science and the human behaviour is never 100% predictable. But there are factors that can sway the economy from one direction to another and there are many factors that can have a(n) (in)significant impact. The sense that I had, was that all the elements in the media and « trustworthy » data, were not matching at all what I’m experiencing in my day to day life and yet the market was oblivious to what was actually happening… it « pretended » like everything was top notch… and that made me second guess that same optimism, hence something was « off » And at the time of writing, I was right, because the next day after ppi data came out. But yes, your remark isn’t wrong either, it will never be 100% right because that would make it too predictable (and lot more ppl would be rich/or less rich actually). In a quick and dirty nutshell. I downloaded a bitcoin wallet generator onto a laptop. Once that was done the laptop became completely air gapped. I removed its ability to connect wirelessly to the internet or Bluetooth. I did the same thing with a laser printer. The only thing the laptop and printer are used for is creating bitcoin public and private keys for storing bitcoin. Then I can generate my own public and private keys, run a connecting cord from the laptop to the printer, print the public and private keys out as we codes. This is all done 100% completely offline so there is no way in the physical universe we live in for somebody to have access to my keys. Then I take the private key, which gives you access to the ability to withdraw the bitcoin, and place it face down on the back of a Bitcoin themed coin. Then I place a security hologram sticker over that QR code. Security hologram stickers destroy themselves when peeled so you’ll know if somebody has accessed the bitcoin on that coin. Then I load Bitcoin onto the coin using the public key and BOOM…. I now have a physical coin That holds digital currency… completely safe and secure. The only person that has access to it is me, the owner of the coin
