Lets just assume I don't understand UK governments fiscal operation, and that this notion somehow makes sense. I've got some rather bad news for you. Our federal (national) government didn't have a massive rainy day fund that was used for fiscal pandemic aid. It was funded by an increase in the money supply and piling on to our national credit card. We keep making the required payments on said debt, but there is no real plan being floated by anyone to actually pay that debt down with an increase in taxes or anything of the sort. In short our government is on a path to fiscal insolvency, one of our two major parties mostly just gives lip service to debt concerns, the other is all about the spending, and tax increases, not to pay down the debt but to fuel even more spending. We aren't seriously planning on paying that debt down, at least not through reduced spending or an increase in tax rates, no the dirty plan no one talks about is the belief that we can leverage the hidden tax of fiat inflation to somehow deal with a 28 trillion and growing debt. The other major tactic is to just keep kicking the can down the road hoping the inevitable won't come in our respective life times. The bad news for you and the rest of the world? We are the world reserve currency, inflation to compensate for our fiscal insanity means we are going to tax the world. Our taxes may very well go up to fuel additional spending, but not to deal with that 28 trillion dollar bill, no that we are going to make everyone world wide using the petro dollar help pay for, and even then it won't happen. We are getting away with this insanity, which has historically resulted in economic collapse and usually the fall of nation states, not because we are that special in some way but because of the unique situation of instead of just bilking our citizenry on the way to collapse, no this time the history mirroring fiat collapse will dump on the entire world. This time is different though, compared to all other historical raping of fiat systems by the entities that control them sucking them dry until the collapse, this time the masses have a way out. This time your average person is able to opt out of the collapsing economic system, there is a solution to mitigate their suffering, and it's going to mean the end of fiat, the end of government control of the money. It is in short the revolution that normally results in the after math of collapse, but it's happening now. The solution? Buy bitcoin.

Yep. While the post about this issue seemed very well put together, I had a hard time thinking there wasn't anything wrong with it. KuCoin clearly offers one of the most feature rich exchanges out there, and a TON of education on investing too. It has been my go-to exchange for quite a while now after trying out other places (Gemini, Coinbase, BinanceUS [LOL], Gate.IO, Kraken, Bittrex, etc).
TBF crypto's first big use (Silk Road) was mostly weed :P ​ Following properly in the footsteps of some of the earliest internet communications involving the purchase and delivery of weed ;) ​ I work in the Denver cannabis industry, have for many years. And most of my coworkers are super pro-crypto. Lots of miners, bot makers, part-time traders, hodlers... We constantly tease our bosses to pay us in crypto LOL. I know that volatility is a big reason for resistance at this point. Retail price consistency is extremely important to retain repeat customers. I totally understand this hesitancy and Honestly kinda agree with it. Dollars work fine still, and retailers will be the last folks to switch currencies. I believe that the first retailers we see that will accept crypto will be largest and/or the most disruptive types of companies. (FAANG, etc)
