We're not frightened of algo believe me. It just sounds and feels scammy. This isn't the only scammy project on Algo, Lofty also feels scammy as hell. I think there's something you are missing. Sport teams are brands. Building brands is not a walk in the park. Fans token are 💯% aligned to the sport teams which makes it their official tokens. Sorry, but Bitcoin has zero impact on the USD/ARG exchange rate. Bitcoin is also crazy volatile and therefore a terrible national currency. On top of that small, predictable amount of inflation (2% per year or so) is ideal for high economic growth, another reason BTC is a poor answer on a national level.

I’ve been part of a few games (CryptoRaiders on MATIC, HelloGophers and WenLambo on ONE) and generally enjoying myself. Mortegard is a kingdom-building based game that I was just introduced to two weeks ago, still in its initial stages (it’s still early). Currently gameplay consists of castles (for land), and developments that generate resources - mana, gold, wood, food, iron. Expansion-based gameplay and military mechanics are being planned down the line. What sets it apart is the insane immersion into the lore - it’s very developed with makes me really optimistic for the commitment of the team to developing its game. There’s an RPG aspect to it where the input of the players directly impacts the storyline and development of the game. There’s also a ARG aspect if you are into that - scavenger hunts, clues, and riddles to win rare castles and courtiers (heroes that boost production).
