Bytecoin was once a top 10. Back in 2017 I bought a bag of this when I was deciding whether buy DOGE or not. Had a few gains to spend and wanted to put in some non-sense...I guess I should have gone to the biggest non-sense (DOGE)! What the hell happened to this BCN? Will it ever come back?

It has been going nuts and international investment won't allow these areas go down in price. I meant people who want to live in the interior of Spain, the prices went insane. And now sellers are having issues to sell because the demand is not that high and the prices too crazy. Besides the economic activity in the interior (except Madrid, Sevilla etc) is significantly lower...there's not that much money as you can see in BCN or Malaga.
Now BCN can afford the new players.

Teach English (every country wants more native teachers and requirements are usually only BA + teaching certificate + under 55yo )in almost any eu country for 3-6 years, apply for residency, apply for citizenship. It really is that easy. Other jobs may be different, but teaching English is an easy way in.
Was Holding about 300k ADA and sold them for nearly to nothing, "due to thier high volume" they would never give me a fast profit ord reach 1$. Was so damn naive back then and lost everything on those PnD scams, thinking I was fast enough to get in and out in the gaps even thou I was'nt attending these damn scammer groups. Then I decided to buy a coin that I could hodl like forever and don't have to monitor that much, bought as much Bytecoins (BCN) I could before they got listed and delisted on Binance. Still have the wallet, but what heck does that even matter with no running seeds or userbase? Should be glad if the walletfile on a stick was even worth a dollar beeing sold as memorabilia. Sorry, turned into more of an stupid story about misstakes then an assumption. Guess I learned a lot by trail and error atleast.
you're not wrong, but keep in mind some of my coins listed (AIB, ARG, BCN, BTM, GLT, LEAF, NYC, PTC, SXC, VIA, VTHO, XMY) were merge mined and may only be worth a few bucks. Still would like to take advantage of any opportunities regardless!

I’ve been in crypto since BCN Bytecoin came out. I lost money on that scam but it seems it is now another coin that’s lying around with a very low price so who knows. Since then I’ve done well on BTT and Wink and have joined the SHIBA Army. I did miss out on Cardano but that’s what Crypto is all about. You win some you lose some.
Transferred $20k worth of BCN to Binance (world) where it was trading 30 cents higher due to unannounced listing from Poloniex along with 2 million other fuckers. Clogged the network. Think it arrived 2 days later. I still believe it was Poloniex that shut it down because they didn't have the liquidity and everyone was selling everything to buy BCN. The reward was worth it. Would have been over $250k for me but ended up being a..... Great way to turn $20k into $5k or less but that's not even the worst. I'm pretty sure I sold about 10,000,000 DOGE at the time at 0.00000001 BTC to buy more BCN. See I did a test transfer and it worked great so I doubled down and turn a bad hand into 2 terrible hands. Fuckin bullshit but the education is priceless. It showed me the power of crypto. Oh yeah sold over 100k XLM too. Blahahaha omg fuck Poloniex, Goldman Ballsachs, or whoever owns them now, regulators and the BCN crew. No 1099 nothing. Just cut the fuck off. Piece of shit Poloniex. Fuck that platform. They fucked me out of many airdrops too.

Hi guys, nowadays people have forgotten or just don't know why cryptocurrencies. When Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin I don't think he did it to get rich or to make someone else rich. Nowadays people approach the world of cryptocurrencies only because they think they are making easy money, they don't even know what they are throwing their money into. I believe that we should bring to light what is really behind crypto which is not making money but is an ideology. I personally believe a lot in the Bytecoin (BCN) project and even if many criticize it because the price is currently low it doesn't matter because that is not the only factor that makes us understand if a project is good or not. Bytecoin provides anonymity and privacy not to mention the fact that transactions are instant and tax-free (you can choose how many fees to pay us and also the level of anonymousness of the transaction) all these stuff are cool, what does shiba or other shitty token that other token can't do? . When you invest, do research and not just speculation, look for life of serious projects, something that can find a future in everyday life because cryptocurrencies will be the money of the future.
It would be great to have Bitcoin at $250k. I hope Bytecoin BCN will reach at least 1$ :)

How do you feel about the fees on Binance? Is paying fees with BCN troubling bc value of BCN is also going up. On most exchanges, Is it common practise to just deduct fees in the currency your Buying or Selling, not in Binance Coin or some other coin.
BCN has had new announcements after a 2 year wait. They just announced getting back onto more exchanges and their price lately has been on the upward trend. Good one to keep an eye on. If it does relist on more exchanges price should explode.
So as far as the CPU mining realm there are only a few that I have dabbled in which consist of: ROI, PWR, FTC, ETN, XMY, UIS, LOKI, PASC, BCN, GNT Also mined VTC and RVN with my CPU as well, had to get that double dipping as much as possible. 😃 There are not as money coins now as there was before since a lot of them were really shitcoins, but some of them are still sticking around. Also some of those coins are dual mining such as RVN and VTC, but I don't know how much you will earn now with just a CPU or two. I would definitely say right now is not the time to get into the GPU mining scene with the shortage of cards and the insane marked up prices. The only people that are making profit at this point are the scalpers and resellers of cards.
Yes I’ve heard that too but if you look into it than you can see that it wasn’t pre mined but properly mined on the dark web. Also the theories applied to BCN are not too different from Bitcoin. As in the creator of Bitcoin is anonymous and is unknown if they had anything more in their mind after its launch
The problem with BCN was that it had a bug that allowed to create coins of thin air, the bug wasn't patched in long time, Monero applied a patch but BNC was more time exposed to the exploit, some people argued that in purpose by the devs, and because BCN is private we cant really know who created coins and how many coins were created. That's the main reason BCN is called scam, there is a unknown amount of people, that could be the developers, who owns an unknown amount of coins earned exploiting bugs and could dump all in any moment.
Well said. Funnily BCN has had the worst rep of any altcoin I’ve seen. Plenty of shit coins around. However as noted each coin is as good or as bad as people’s idea of it. All depends on the funds invested in it. BCN amongst others is showing there’s life in shit coins and no coin is a dead coin. After all Doge was created as a joke and yet has continued on an upward path. May you all profit from the investment you decide upon. Plenty of opportunities out there. Everyone deserves money and happiness. No coin is a dead coin.

Hello, I have no knowledge in making program scripts and I'm quite new to the crypto world, but I thought about something that could save us from dips and it involves swaps between a decreasing crypto and a stablecoin. It would work this way: Imagine you have ADA, and it is falling. You tell the script that you can resist a dip of 5%. After that, the script swaps all your ADA into USDT. After that, two things can happen: 1. ADA keeps falling. You tell the script to swap USDT back to ADA if ADA goes down to a previously set %, for example 10%. In this case, you'd have been saved from (almost\*) a 5% decrease in value versus USDT. 2. ADA goes back up. You tell the script to swap back your USDT to ADA when ADA returns to the -5% value. You have (almost\*) the same ADA: I say almost\* because, of course, we'd have to take into account the slippage and the swap fees, but if we're on blockchains like BCN those can be very small. What do you think? Is it feasible? Does it make sense or it is a total stupidity? Does it already exist or am I suggesting something completely obvious that has been done forever in the cryptoverse? TL;DR: script for cutting losses during dips? Looking forward to hearing your opinions!
