Sat on Nano for 5 months in 2017 before it ran. From August 2017 until now. Purely because it was mentioned on this sub, and I tried it and it worked better than any crypto I’d ever tried. To this day, the UX is unmatched. Was holding LRC for a long time this year because Vitalik mentioned it being a good solution, although I am not a fan of the UX. Held BNB purely because of how popular the exchange was getting and how obvious the run up would seem. Missed out on Solana because when I tried it it was slower than Nano and has fees. Missed out on Doge and Shiba because I don’t believe in memes. Missed out on Bitcoin because I don’t understand the appeal. Ive enjoyed some good runs by Eth and VeChain because there is substantial adoption within their network. Lossed big in PASC coin, another Feeless coin. Lossed a little on VITE, still holding though. Lossed on IOTA holding since $2. Patience is the key I think. I’ve never grabbed a coin and had it just run up immediately after. It’s always been a long wait before the run up happened.

Just sounds like you got in at the top. I’d imagine most people are up pretty big after investing in Nano. It has outperformed Bitcoin ever since it’s inception. I made large Nano purchases at $0.40, $1.19, and $5.85. Needless to say, I’m very happy with the performance so far. The only reason I bought it in the first place was because of all the cryptos I’ve used(or tried to use) in the past(btc, Ltc, BCH, iota, Req, Vet, Eth, Xrp, PASC, and Algo, it was the fastest, cheapest, and easiest. The spam attack earlier this year opened my eyes to Nano’s vulnerability, and caused me to cut my position in half. However, the community of developers seem to be working very diligently to mitigate that issue. If it is resolved within the next 6-12 months, I will absolutely increase my position again. That being said, if it remains this vulnerable to spam beyond that point, I will be selling it all. I love the idea of a fast, feeless, ecofriendly crypto, but what’s the point if anyone with a couple thousand dollars can clog up the network.

So as far as the CPU mining realm there are only a few that I have dabbled in which consist of: ROI, PWR, FTC, ETN, XMY, UIS, LOKI, PASC, BCN, GNT Also mined VTC and RVN with my CPU as well, had to get that double dipping as much as possible. 😃 There are not as money coins now as there was before since a lot of them were really shitcoins, but some of them are still sticking around. Also some of those coins are dual mining such as RVN and VTC, but I don't know how much you will earn now with just a CPU or two. I would definitely say right now is not the time to get into the GPU mining scene with the shortage of cards and the insane marked up prices. The only people that are making profit at this point are the scalpers and resellers of cards.

Bitcoin is a shitcoin. There are plenty of fee-less coins. PASC comes to mind. But people dont want ingenuity and complex white papers. They want it easy, and they want it now. Its why I left the crypto space
