> Look at the price nuke of BNB and the timing correlates with BTC selling off massively. Yeah, it’s almost as if alts often sell-off in reaction to BTC selling-off. 🤷‍♂️ Also, that’s not even the point the post you linked was trying to make. That post is implying BNB should have dropped harder than it has. What it doesn’t address is 1) it’s still dropping and is actually in a bearish consolidation pattern that usually results in downside continuation, and 2) it is very common for exchange tokens to hold-up better than most alts and for them to have a slower descent. This is because they have actual utility. And that is the case for BNB more than any other exchange token as a result of its prominence and critical utility for the BNC chain which is huge. This whole thing is literally explained by simple TA. $220-230 is a major weekly moving average that was acting as strong support, which is normal. And it finally broke through that and is now hung-up in a major horizontal support zone. There have been no volume abnormalities either in BNB or BTC that would be indicative of abnormal selling or buying. This is normal price action. One of two things is likely to happen from here: 1) BTC continues to drop. A weekly close below $207 is bearish, and there’s a good chance it nukes if it drops below $185. 2) Price moves up to backtest $232 (200 week EMA). A test and rejection likely result in a strong move down and the rules for #1 above are applicable. If price is able to reclaim the 200 EMA (two weekly closes above $232), then that’s bullish and we likely see additional upside.

BNC has 1,768 MSTR shares versus Bank of America holding of 226,506 shares. It should be the opposite. Canada is more crypto/BTC friendly than US. More Canadians should buy BTC whether in the form of stocks or crypto itself. Look at HUT8 mining stats. ASIC hashrate capacity at just Canadian province of Alberta facilities alone was 2.6 EH/s and HUT8 produced 50.38 BTC/EH in the month of March 2023 alone.

Maybe if other exchanges stopped abusing their customers funds, Binance would not have grown so big. I love binance. I do think its the most reliable and trustworthy exchange out there. Look at them all drop like flies because they all abused their user funds. Binance is an exchange, with their own pretty successful BNC chain, a pretty successful BNB token, a pretty successful BUSD stable coin. They have good support and not once did I have any issue with them. They won't go down. I can sit here want watch all the CEXs burn in hell from the fortress cz built. Yep, I don't even like BNC, it's just full of scam coins, but the people saying it's centralised and not a real crypto are legally only looking at everything on a surface level. Decentralisation is obviously a good thing, but it does also come with some drawbacks, and different applications of blockchain are going to suit different levels of decentralisation. Obviously for a global currency like bitcoin you want it to be basically as decentralised as possible, but for platforms or business chains that level of decentralisation isn't really ideal depending on their intended purpose. It's not black and white like some people seem to think.

Mentions:#BNC
r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

I just don't think it's worth critisising BNC for not being decentralised when it's a widely known fact it's not very decentralised. It should be criticised for being a complete cesspit of copy and pasted scam coins and ponzi schemes instead. It's probably good for the community that the chain has been paused tbh, because it means less people will be losing money to scams for a few days.

Mentions:#BNC
r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

That's just what marketing is though. Tbh I've just been through the BNB org website and the word decentralised only came up twice, one time being as a bullet point under "future goals" subheading. And architecturally speaking it is decentralised, so I don't really see the problem. If people are gonna invest they should really be reading up on what they're investing in, especially if political decentralisation is super important to them. Really though, BNC is a network for shitty moon boi coins that give reflections, and people who do their research on tiktok, so I doubt any of them really care. I bet 95% of people who have bought BNB haven't even been on the BNBorg website at all.

I mostly agree. Opensource is great, but even you you're building enterprise applications consuming opensource projects? How often do you commit to opensource projects? Also look at the end products people use, they're almost entirely enterprise Sass, even lots of times when there's an opensource version consumers opt for the same service run by that company on the cloud, Mongo is the first that comes to mind. Another great example is email, how many orgs or people run their own mail server? 20 years ago, a lot, now... very few, they opt for mail as a service. Another perfect example is servers, while a lot still use linux, alot also chose AWS-linux which is a closed source version controlled by AWS (I would say pilfered by AWS). It get's to a point where the cost of running and maintaining opensource can't compete with enterprise. It sucks, but kinda the way it is. Decentralisation isn't just about proprietary blockchains like hyperledger. Decenralization is not a simple boolean. Bitcoin is arguably less centralised than it was 12 years ago. Mining pools also lead to great centralisation in blockchain. 21 validators on BNC is arguably less distributed than ETH. Also look at DOAs, it costs money to build and market any type of software. Blockchain included. So that means you need to raise money, usually through a pre-sale, so that means a VC is going to hold a lot of the voting power in a DAO, and control of tokens in a PoS protocol.

I think the Visa card is probably worth it in the short term, especially if you can swing the $4k staking one. That being said, I'm not sure about it long-term. The technology as far as I know is nothing special, it's just likely to get mass adaption due to it's simplicity. I 100% disagree. Why would institutions and nations adopt blockchain if it's not immutable, decentralized, and permissionless? Why would they risk some company (that controls the blockchain) from screwing them over? I don't think you'll ever see a major company use BNC. Putting corporate or national infrastructure on a chain that's ruled by a company, means that it could be used against you. This couldn't happen on a decentralized blockchain, because it's trustless and immutable.

If you’re going to favor a heavily centralized blockchain, you’re essentially advocating to undo everything Satoshi Nakamoto tried to achieve. Also, I wouldn’t expect BNB/BNC to get any institutional/national adoption. Launched in 2014, no ICO, no pre-mine, no CEO's, no development funding rounds. Proof of stake, anyone can stake no minimum amount of coins required. Onchain community governance, staking allows voting. Anyone can propose an idea and gain funding by its decentralized treasury. Because of this the community has build: - New privacy protocol, no centralized setup. - Bridge to other chains like BNC and ETH. No KYC required to buy. Also available on Binance, was added by binance without costs. - Mobile staking. Upcoming are: - Private mobile transactions. - First person shooter, coin is used as it's currency. - NFT's. - Expanding the bridge to Polygon, Matic and Solana. 71.000.000 deflationary supply, 30.000.000 market cap. No hype, Navcoin.

Navcoin. Nav works because its a proof of stake DAO, anyone staking this coin gets a vote on network changes aside from 4-10% APY. There was no ICO, and there is no CEO. No pre-mine, no developer locked funds or anything like that centralized bullshit. Right now the community is voting for the development of a first person shooter which doesnt look like it will pass. Anyone can propose to the community, if your idea is good enough you will get paid in Nav. During a -99% bear market development continued because of the community fund paying developers, 0.5 nav get added to the CF every block. 'Main' devs also need to propose their ideas to the community, a privacy protocol based of zk snarks was rejected because it requires a centralized set up. Optional privacy, BlsCT brings privacy back to Nav. You can swap your Nav to xNav within your core wallet to send private transactions. No centralized set up like zcash or pivx. Mobile privacy is being tested now, which is a first for any cryptocurrency. Mobile staking has been enabled years ago. Bridges to BNC and ETH, allowing you to use dex's. No KYC and privacy is as powerful as it gets. No hype, no marketing. Its ridiculous how its at place 600+, there are so many trillion supply token nowadays that surpass its market cap at 0.000000001 usd per token making this coin gowing down on cmc eventhought it went from 0.03 cents to 1.20 in a year. Already broke two of those rules. I lost $200 in BNC and ChartX recently and .1 BTC a long time ago (about $40 USD worth at the time).

Yes, and there will be some advantage of Amacoin during purchases like Binance is doing with BNC coin.

Well I honestly didn’t feel like typing up a huge post about it, but fine. First, the team. It’s fully doxxed and consists of professionals from a wide variety of fields who have worked with major corporations such as Sony, American Express, and Microsoft. They are frequent participants in the TG group and give regular updates and live AMAs on their progress. They also don’t take pay from Munch. The tech itself works differently than other charity tokens. Where most others take a percentage of every transaction and store it in a dev controlled wallet, Munch instantly converts 5% to ETH and deposits it directly to the charities own wallet. No chance for the devs to run off with the money, no huge dips when charities cash out a charity wallet’s worth of token, and accommodation for the charities to work with what they already have instead of convincing them to accept some unheard of coin. Charities are voted on every two weeks by the community. Currently Munch has worked with GiveWell, the Yellow Brick Road Foundation, and Charity: Water. They’ve been able to generate $3 million in a few months despite a shaky market and small market cap. They’ll be official partners with Charity: Water shortly, and are already partnered with The Giving Block, which is THE crypto charity organization (more on this later). They’ve already accomplished a ton in a short amount of time. They were the first charity token to create a BNC bridge, allowing trade on both ETH and BSC. They launched a holder dashboard with all sorts of stats to check out. They’ve been meeting every goal in the amount of time they’ve set out. Their roadmap is very impressive. They’re currently in talks with a top 10 CEX (Kucoin I believe) for a listing. They’re going to be releasing staking/farming soon. An amazing feature of that is you’ll be able to set a percentage of your rewards to go towards charity. In other words, you’ll be able to passively generate donations. The partnership with the Giving Block gives them access to the 300+ charities in their database, so you’ll be able to choose where your donations go. Later in the year they’ll be releasing their launchpad, which will give the token actual utility. The launchpad will act as a sort of GoFundMe, where you’ll be able to launch individual causes. And I’m sure I’ve missed some things as well.
