When you buying something that exists few days on pancakeswap etc there is chance that when you buy it you won't be able to sell it etc, even if it's on Binance doesn't necessarily mean it's fully safe so you risking but this you know. Cheapest option would be using a CEX, which being in NYC will take a bit of doing. eg send to a trusted friend with a Binance account, or use a VPN. Amounts under $1k you can often trade without much KYC on CEX's. If you want to trade today on a DEX, you'll have to eat the gas, which might be $100+. There really isn't a good path to bridging to another L1 or L2 that I'm aware of. Third option is you wait. Fees on Ethereum may come down, cross chain transactions may become cheaper and easier in the future, but you'd have the risk of holding your FLOKI.

I'd day it's the usual DOGE, PEPE, and newer ones (atleast in terms of availability in CEX) like FLOKI. AI is also trendy, so ARKM and others are there. My policy with shitcoins is this: By the time you hear about one, you're never going to be one of those people who got on board before it knocked off 4 or 5 zeros. So then you're VERY likely to be getting in around either the ATH - just before all the people who were there 4 zeros ago sell all their bags and tank the coins - or the coin is just at max hype and will bounce around and then slowly fizzle out over time, eating away at your money. (I have a little BONK but I suspect this will be one that does the latter.) For example, look at FLOKI. I got a decent little bag of that when it was at like 0.00002, then when it 10x'd I got out because it's really just a pretty pointless coin and only went up because of the altcoin hype wagon. If you buy now, I suspect it will slow burn back down to what it was, or the rising tide will just keep it as-is for a while. But it's never going to be SHIB, it's just a hope train. My strategy with shitcoins is to spray around a little bit of money on the ones that look like they at least have a functional community as soon as they hit the market, and just camp out on them for a while and see what happens.

You should consider getting some OG HOKK from 2021. It was made by the same Dev as FLOKI, and even has the same amount of holders. However, unlike Floki, HOKK is only 5 weeks into a community revival so its at 3.5 million market cap. It was at 400k market cap only 4 days ago. It was part of Kennel Master's chart in case you don't know. Keep an eye on it.

Cashed out the remaining AAVE I had into some Nettensor, and swapped all my FLOKI shitcoin as I assume this will be the last decent pump on that one, and into Bonk shitcoin as it hasn't had too many pumps (even though the market cap is LOLarious, still what the hell, why not). Fun times! I put 1k of real USD into crypto as sort of play money, about 8 years ago, and over the years I just shuffle it all around. At this point I consider it more of a targeted lottery/entertainment budget than anything else. At the most I was up to like 30k, but am now sitting around 10k. I have a regular retirement fund, this is all just thrashing around hoping for a moon shot for me.

As I have been taking profits on the elevator ride up I've diversified into a few shit coins. Some into more established cryptos like LTC. People in this sub and others say LTC is dead. OK, but I bought it at $65 and I've enjoyed a 30%+ return. Bought LINK at 7 and now it's at 21. If you're regularly taking profits you gotta throw a little bit at long shot darts. I'm gonna be honest, with just 500 euros i would split it over some crypto with low price. The "stupid stuff" like FLOKI and SHIB. Why? Because that rubbish is the stuff most people will gamble on in the next bull run. Mainstream people who only look at crypto when it takes off see all the stories about crypto millionaires and want to get rich quick too. They wouldn't buy SOLANA at 100, no they would buy SHIB at 0,000006. It's a gamble sure, but with 500 euro i wouldn't be happy with 2x gains by putting it all in BTC or ETH.

To make that sort of gains, you'd have to go with just launched memecoins that no one can name in order to bag multiple 10-100xs. High risk, gambling strategy. When it comes to memes, my favourite is FLOKI, which have been gaining new use cases a gaming token. DOGE is also an interesting one with a long track record and huge community. None of those would turn $200 in $5 million though. I am more keen on down to earth tokens with real utility with small market cap and great upside, such as ANKR (storage) which already did a 10x early this month, or DIA (oracle) which did a 2x last week and still have major upside, or for greater risk-reward ratio, DAFI (DeFi) which have a high volatile nature and it's on the verge of a major exchange launch. Again, non of this would turn $200 in $5 million. And even if you'd grab the right meme coin at the right price, I wonder if you'd have the mental fortitude and conviction (on a useless token) to hold it all the way from $200 to $5 million. I wouldn't!

Yes and also no, just be early, have a thesis and remember to sell. In 2021 during peak SHIB season I was looking to arbitrage another dog coin seeing that others were pumping. DOGE had already pumped, DOBO had pumped, and the one I stumbled upon that had yet to see anything more than 20% 24 hr gains was FLOKI, also happened to be top 5 in market cap for dog coins. Placed $15k in it, went to sleep, woke up to $75k and I had 100% conviction that it would do that, because the narrative happened to be “pump underperforming dog coins”. If you ape random bullshit with the expectation of 100x you’re going to lose all of your money. If you have a thesis that isn’t totally braindead you might fare alright. During a bull everything pumps, just make sure to have a target or exit planned ahead of time.
