You clearly didn't read what I said. Demand has been rapidly increasing for nearly a year, with not enough increase in supply. LONG before the war in Ukraine. OPEC has been limiting the supply, not keeping up with the demand, to artificially push the price back up. Because they needed to make up from their losses from Covid. Last time I checked Biden wasn't the President of OPEC. Last time I checked, the Keystone pipeline was never reduced. The XL extension was just a project for an extension. So nothing changed about the output when it got canceled. Nor with the cancelled new leases. In fact, the US oil output has increased in the last year. Much higher than 2020. So those policies didn't even decrease the worldwide output of oil. But if we go by your logic, and go by only something that happened around the time of oil prices, and completely ignore causality, then you can make just as solid of an argument that the Chiefs not winning the AFC championship is why oil prices are up. The last two seasons the Chiefs won the AFC, oil prices went down. The season they lost the AFC, oil prices went up. This is already a much more solid argument than what you came up with, since it has already more data points.

Seeing as how they went 2-14 in 2020, I don't see how it could get worse this year. Getting rid of Adam Gase was a good move. He couldn't coach for shit. We'll have to see who they draft at the #2 spot. Most people think they'll go with Zach Wilson out of BYU. After that they have the #23 pick which they will probably use to shore up the linebacker position. I think they'll improve this year, but are still the 4th best team in the AFC East.
