I use it for DCA (ECA lol?), almost 2 years, very happy with it
Put in $700 in 2017 on a coin called Electra (ECA). Purchased on a shady geocities style exchange called Coinsmarket. I was able to transfer it to my wallet and the exchange went down. My holdings shot up to over $100,000. Rode it alllllll the way down. Been taking profits ever since that first learning experience lol.
My ECA (euroca) is a 'weekly dca'. And it means weekly X looking for lows. And ECA only with BTC below the 20sma, and if possible, below the 100. BuT ThATs NoT HoW DcA WorKS. Sure, and also if you avoided to buy tops probably in the next bear (now) you lo be holding a lighter bag
If you keep ECA during these dark times, next bull run you will be amazed by how much u have gained. Everythings cheeper. If the price was X before, why not reach again in the future? The hardest part is not getting to where it was, but achieve what haven't been achieved before.
Excellent question. Finally someone asking a meaningful question. I use the classic DCA. Every Monday, I go to my bank and ask them to convert 100€ into dollars. Then I ask them to put them into my digital account. From there I go back to my house where I wait for the funds to be available. When they are, I transfer them to my crypto exchange and buy some Doge with it. I do that every week and am pretty happy with the results. I tried to ECA (euro cost average) but it was to simple.
but wouldn't that rather be ECA (Ethereum cost averaging)? you know how many ETH you want to buy and you want to average out your price for it
You can say ECA = € / PCA = Pounds and do it with any other currency. I prefer ECA when I talk to colleagues or friends from me about crypto, and DCA most time online cause most of the subs, and websites are in English. But nothing to think about too much.

This is what I will do. DCA (or rather ECA) as long as I'm in the red.
Volatility attracts traders like shit attracts flies. Since what traders do is try to buy low and sell high, this has a dampening effect on the volatility. Earlier tonight I found a good looking coin on Gecko called Electra (ECA). So, having some BNB in my Meta wallet I said hey I’ll give it a shot. Looked up the contract address, added, bought about 8 million for like 3$. I went to add to my CoinGecko portfolio and it said it was worth like 5,000$. I skipped a beat, but backtracked and found I had been bamboozled by another Electra that looks exactly the same. The BSC address even has 30,000 holders. But the Electra I bought isn’t even out yet. Mayyybe it’ll turn out well, but I was a bit purturbed.

There is no need to be angry. If price goes up, I am happy because my net value in fiat increases. If the price goes down, I am happy because I can stack more satoshis. There is no need to be upset, ever. Also, during weekends the price usually goes down like crazy. So, I usually use limit orders to DCA (or as we say: ECA -> Euro cost average), which are a bit below the current price in steps of some hundred Dollar/Euro. Due to the volatilty i do not want to buy all one the same day. And if some orders did not go through at the end of the month, I buy satoshis to the price of the day. Then I get my salary again. Rince and repeat.
I am poor as feck but I ECA in whatever amount of european pesos I can afford. Gas is overrated.

Also missed the period of 100% bonus Jan/2021 during the pre-sale but needs to keep XEP until July/2021. With old ECA @BinanceResearch did a great report about the tech backing ECA, all tech features developed since 2017 are critical part XEP, who takes valuable time to make this type of report maybe only @BinanceResearch?

Unfortunetely no, the process to be elegible for the Airdrop (free coin) was announced in all social network by the dev core team in Nov/2020, the airdrop claim process happened from 1/Jan/2021 to 10/Jan/2021. As you are ECA holder guess that are informed what happen with E01 founder. As transparent, legit, honest project the team move on with new project always supporting to the community /holder with the Airdrop process.

Agreed! We tested it back in the day when it first came out. ECA was by far the fastest tx speed we had EVER seen - 10x faster than all of the others claiming to be “the fastest”
